Yesterday dated 11.10.2021 I ordered food item from Swiggy around 7:58 p.m. with order ID[protected].
I was continuously observing through my gps that delivery representative was coming according to the route and suddenly at 9:15 p.m. before reaching my location, he cancelled the order without giving any intimation by him or any Swiggy representative.
Both my contact number and the email id are provided to Swiggy ( no provision of providing alternate communication mode or information is in Swiggy site) and still this miscommunication happened.
This is a total matter of regret and such kind of service was not expected from the Swiggy from where I have placed so many orders previously.
As soon as happening the incident I have prolonged discussion with Swiggy representative ( Parth) through chat requesting him either to make the food package delivered or I would pick up from delivery partner's location. He did not agree with my request and told the charge was 100% cancellation fee. After some request he assured me to refund 50% of cancellation charges and also confirmed to arrange a call with higher executive within 24-48 hours.
Now, this was a complete picture of performing zero effort from Swiggy side to successful completing of compliance and as I had no fault at all, I should not suffer monetary loss.
So, requested Swiggy to arrange 100% refund of cancellation charges at earliest.
