I placed an order (#[protected] from WarmOven Cake & Desserts on 26th Jan at 6:30 PM which was supposed to be delivered in 60-65mins.
The delivery guy was not able to find the address and called us for help. We instructed him with several landmarks, but he couldn't find any.
So, we reached those landmarks to help him find us. Meanwhile, we also reached out to customer care to coordinate our communication with the delivery guy as we were not able to reach out to him a couple of times.
The customer care team also merged our calls where we gave him some landmarks so that he could reach us.
By this time, it was already past 9:30 PM. (3 hours from the order time). The delivery guy then denies his service and cancels the order.
The customer care went ahead and cancelled the order and I was shocked to see that this team put the whole blame on the customer and charged us the entire amount as cancellation fee. They mentioned, delivery guy tried to reach out to us but we were not reachable.
It was completely the delivery guys fault, yet I am charged with the amount.
On raising multiple complaints and having series of conversations with their team for hours together, they kept saying it's my fault and initiated refund for half amount.
I need full refund as I did not get the item nor service. Was this information helpful? |
