I have placed an order on Dec 26th for Rs.2170/- by 12:17PM, and it was a duplicate order, due to network issue & the payment got debited. We realised it by 12:19 PM & had a chat with Swiggy executive & canceled the order by 12:19PM. Since it was 2 mins, they refused to refund the amount, as per their message in the chat "Swiggy allows you to cancel for free within 1 minute of placing your order, post which a fee will be applicable. This helps us avoid food wastage and compensate our restaurants and delivery partners." Who in this world will be able to cancel the order within a minute of placing the order. This is not fair & also is this how they treat the customer. also there was no swiggy executive alloted for this specific order placed & the hotel also hasn't confirmed. Then why we were charged Cancelation fee.. If they say cancelation fee, it can be with minimal amount, but not the whole amount of the order placed which is really disappointing. Every penny that are being charged is hard earned one & i m not ready to pay this to some one for free (without even received the order or without even feeding on it) Was this information helpful? |
