I ordered a briyani from "Aroma's biryani" https://www.swiggy.com/menu/454604?source=sharing at 5:01pm on 3rd July 2022.
The doesn't get delivered for a long time, so I go to the help section to check what's wrong. At 6:21pm(after 1 hr 20 mins of creating the order), Mr. SUJIT KUMAR SAHOO, the customer representative told me that the delivery person cannot find the restaurant, i.e., there is no restaurant at the supposed location.
On requesting to either raise a complaint or provide double the refund for wasted energy and time, Mr SUJIT KUMAR SAHOO said that they cannot give double refund. When I asked to raise a complaint, he called me on the phone and asked to try to understand the situation. He kept stalling to waste more of my time. Honestly I still don't understand how can Swiggy mistake that an entire restaurant doesn't exist at all at the supposed location. So I asked to raise a complaint again, after which Mr. SUJIT KUMAR SAHOO suggested that he can provide the refund and an extra coupon of the same amount as the order to make it a double refund. When I said yes, he stalled a bit more and said that he is processing the refund and the coupon, and suggested that he disconnect the call as they can't hold the call for this long. I accepted to join back to the chat.
Suddenly, Mr. SUJIT KUMAR SAHOO says that he cannot provide the coupon of same amount as order. And, to not waste more of my time, I informed him that I am going to complain about this.
I request you to please take action against this person who manipulated and deceived me on the call stating something and then eventually denying the same. Also, I ask to recieve "atleast INR 2000" as compensation for my wasted time and suffering.
