I have booked the Tata Sky DTH Connection on 2nd Nov 2008, by making payment thru Credit card (thru their line[protected].

While booking I was confirmed that within 3 days the order will be executed. On 4th Nov 2008 I was delivered the Set top box by courier. When I called the help line for installation of the same (on same no. where I have booked the order) they informed me that the installation dept. is different and the call is to be given there (on[protected]. On calling here I was informed that the installation time is 4 days - I fail to understand how at the time of booking I was confirmed the order execution is only 3days??? (work order no. 1-[protected])

On Contacting their office on 5th Nov 08 asking reason for why the correct information is not given at the time of accepting order, I was promised that I will receive call within 2 hours (complaint no 1-[protected]), but nothing happend till 6th Nov 08 Morning.

Again on 6th Nov 08 morning I called the service centre where after lot of request after 40 minutes the service centre executive gave the call to Sr. Executive (at 10.45am), who promised me that she will personally look into the matter and ensure prompt service. (complaint no 1-[protected]) and a new work order no. was alloted 1-[protected].

However in the evening at 5.45pm again Sr. Executive called me back saying that the installation timing from date of recording the request is 5 days, I was more surprised that how 4 days time got converted into 5 days??? that too after promise from a sr. Executive that she is looking into the matter personally???

But when I refused to accept any deviation in the orginal order term I was asked that I will have to take up the matter with much Sr. level than her, but she can not transfer the line. I called back the help line and fired the executive to transfer the line and than only again same Sr. executive appeared on the line saying that the firm commitment is by 6th Nov 08 evening the installation will be done.

On 6th evening when I called back again the help line they informed the system is showing status of the installation will take 5 days in my case and the same is already informed to me.

About promise of installation on 6th Nov 08 they are unable to comment. They can not transfer the call to any sr. person. On asking for cancellation of order they informed us that accepting the Set top box the order can not be cancelled???

My basic question here is What order execution means?? whether delivery of some part which is not usable is called execution??
The order which should have been executed by 5th Nov 08 is still pending and no body knows when it will get completed???
During the entire process no Sr. Person is ready to come online, promises for call back are never fulfilled except ones.

No competent persons are ensuring the proper services. Orders are booked with false commitments. Very irresponsible behaviour by the company. Why to book orders which are beyond the capacity????

Please help me getting the order cancelled and get the refund.

Tata Sky — delayed delivery of product

I called up Tata Sky helpline[protected] to place and order and made the payment of Rs. 2499. They commited to deliver within 72 hours to bangalore residance. it has been 11 days i am still waiting for box to come. Everyday I call them and they transfer to next level(Specialised department they call it).I am not sure how many levels they have to make consumer fools.There is no legal action agaianest them. it really sucks.

I called up Tata Sky helpline [protected] to place and order . They commited to deliver within 2 days to my Lucknow residance. it has been 4 days i am still waiting for box to come. would agree with above complaint on delivery and attitude of call center.
had a very disappointing start with Tata sky. trying to get it installed since last four days. Hopeless service.

I fully agrre with the complaint and I had the same experience since last month. Tatasky Service department do not give proper care to the complaint and just make you fool.Even do not bother to answer your mail only auto responce is sent to you.

    Sir, Tata Sky has recently launched telecasting Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel. Unfortunately it is given as a part of Active Darshan for a price of Rs.45/- per month. As a result it is coming in a shrinked format (not full screen is possible), and it is a sing to watch the Lord in a shrinked screen. Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel is not a mere "Darshan Channel". It is a total religious and cultural channel with wide range of programmes like discourses, spitirual programmes, serials based on religion etc.
    They have also stopped telecasting DD Sapthagiri, another Telugu cultural channel, all of a sudden. Tata Sky is hoodwinking its viewers by advertising that their prices are slashed. In fact they remove some channels from base package and put them in add on packages for a price. I hope good sense will prevail to Tata Sky management.

    I have subscribed( Subscriber No:[protected]) dish TV service of Tata Sky viz., Base Package :Annual Grand Sports Pack and Add-On Package: Malayalam Pack, Tamil Pack for one year from Aug 2011. In Sept 2011 they discontinued some of the channels without giving any intimation to me. I put up grievence through e-mail as well as customer care executives, but of no use. They dont even have a proper answer for my query.

    Even Doordarshan Malayalam channel is not being shown, this is a total violation of the guidelines issued by Govt to cable operators.

    Request register my complaint with appropriate authorities

      I am a tata sky user since August 2008.

      This is the first time that I have faced an issue with them. There is no person to anwser to your call. It just goes to a recorded message and continues to play the same. I have been trying their helpline for over 2 hours.

      I tried all the different helpline numbers but to no avail. Also their website is useless. It does not give any contact details of anyone senior who can be contacted.

      Somebody should take tatasky to task for this.

      on the contrary of what you are saying.. i think they have efficient helpline nos. .. they have given quite a many options to reach them.. the website being the easiest .. coz all u got to do is write and they get back within like a day.. their helpline no which i have used a couple of times, have been easy to get thru and talk to the concerned person..
      i cant' support thso wonderful service theory. what is the point of having a helpline, if it tells you the call cannot be processed, day after day. This is one of the lousiest services I have ever come across.

      In fact, I suspect this is a cheating technique, website not working, helpline not taking calls and your period for recharge naturally gets over.

        Tata Sky really sucks, they dont have local customer service numbers, if I dial the std call they make me wait for 10 mins after which I give up due the std charges.
        They have been overcharging me for 2 months now.. and everytime I log a customer request you keep closign them without addressing my concerns.
        Its a totally unprofessional company. They have ability to add packages thru their website but nothing to remove the pacakages and then they keep charging you for it.
        I hope they rot in hell.

        I have switched to the tata Sky from our local Cable TV operator

        for obtaining world cladss service as claimed in the

        advertisements. the world classs service is to be in terms of

        quality as well as prompt account renewals / breakdown

        maintenance.
        However now the confidence in tatasky has been lost.

        i had registered a complaint that my settop box was unable to

        recive signal on 14 Sep 08. it was promised that within 24 hours

        that is by 15th sep my defect will be rectified. Today as on 17

        Sep 08 also no one has turned up to rectify the defect.

        I have two senior citizens in the house for whom the only source

        of enterianinment is the Television especially since they are

        unable to move out of the house. In such a situation non

        availability of the television even for short duration affects

        their morale. In fact the tataksy connection was taken just for

        them so that they have continuos availability of their

        favourite channels. Since last four days, non availability of

        the Television has affected them adversely. Their mnorale has

        gone down. They feel that tatasky with their prompt service

        could not be at fault and we are not registeriong the complaint

        on time. In other words "Poor service" of Tatasky is causing

        Domestic misunderstanding.

        I hold tatasky solely and wholly responsible for the above

        agony. It is hight time that educated customers as we shift to

        better operators (especially with two other giants in the

        market, Dish and Reliance).

        I know this mail is going to fall on "Deaf ears" . But then I

        have no other option but to be at the mercy of your Service

        engineers.

        I wish had better service.
        Due reconstruction of my house I request you to sift the dish to any other location before two month. Your service person came and sifts the dish on a wall and fitted it with electricity wire. On the second day dish again move from his place. Then I decide to discontinue the connection till construction is completed. Now construction is almost done, again I call to customer care centre for reinstallation, then he say to pay 350/- for previous relocation. Now my objection is that fist time your service do not works properly so why I pay 350/-for the same. You also ask to your service person that he putted the dish on a wall on temporary bases. If he done his work on proper manner then there is no problem to pay 350/-. Now 350/- is not a matter but this is wrong

          I am staying in Bangalore and I have made the purchase of set top box over phone from a TataSky executive. At that time they had informed me that the box will be delivered in 3 working days - Since I bought it on Saturday (26 Jul 08), I had waited till Thursday morning before contacting them. I was in for a surprise, the reference number they gave me for the purchase does not exist in the system. Then they searched using my phone number and found the request under a different request number. But they had absolutely no idea on what was happening but asked me to wait till evening before giving a complaint, and also said some will give a call to update on the status - No trace of digicomp or call.

          I called the help line again, after playing around transferring the call it got to a person named Naveen, from supply department and he promised me to ensure the delivery by Friday 3 PM, and if it gets delayed he will then give me a call. Same story, no calls, no digicomp.

          I call the helpline again on Friday evening and speak to a senior executive named Janardhan, and he chacked the system and gave some story about "assets" not being available so they dont have any idea when it could be delivered. After pressing for more details, he finally agrees that he will check with the "concerned" department and some one named pradeep from his team would get back to me.

          Surprisingly (considering the previous experience), pradeep did call me, but just to inform that they don't have any information on the box or the delivery and they dont even know which courier is going to deliver as TataSky has tie up with "hundreds" of couriers.
          And he has agreed that some one will give me a call on Saturday (02 Aug) to inform me on the status, if any. Now the shocker is - Pradeep called me at 7PM on Friday - and the "concerned department" which handles the set top box delivery will not work after office hours and weekends. So I am in for a wait of 2 more days till monday to get an update. And from what Janardhan said about assets not available, this update could very well be a request to wait for another few days till the box is available.

          Now the final shocker came when I asked for a refund. pradeep informed me It will take 288 hours to process the refund, and some one from Tata Sky will have to call me and confirm after 12 days before they initiate a refund process with the bank. So I am in for a wait for another two weeks before I can even see a process of refunds.

          This is something they misguide you while purchasing, when I asked the Telephone executive just told me that I just have to call helpdesk to cancel the order - she never mentioned anything about the 2 week plus wait- how clever!!

          I suspect this online purchase option is probably a scam, from my point of view they are getting an interest free Rs. 1499 from me for at least 3 weeks when I cancel it. When a lot of people do this, that is a lot of interest free money which they get. And they hard sell the option to buy through phone with multiple offers - free installation and one month free subscription for all the channels etc. they do this active selling when there is not hardware to sell. So, why would they do that for any reason other than getting some quick cash flow - probably to buy the hardware anyway..

          So people, do not fall for this scam. If you really need Tata Sky, go to the trusted neighbourhood electronics shop and get one. But, if the treatment of a new customer is like this, I dont even want to think about how they will treat the existing ones!!

          So, here is my complaint in a one sentence - I have ordered and paid for the set top bos from TataSky, I have been cheated byt them, now I want an immediate delivery or an immediate refund.

          TataSky — Non delivery of TataSky Settop box after purchase through phone

          I haven’t got the chance to experience TataSky yet, they are yet to deliver, but I didnot like the helpdesk’s "we dont have any information we will get back to you when we can" attitude. I really hope TataSky will give me a chance soon, if it didnot happen in another 3 days, I think i will decide not to experience TataSky and try some other DTH provider!!

          Timeline: Order placed on 26th July 2008
          Delivery promiseed on : 30th July 2008
          First call to TataSky helpdesk: 31st July 2008 11AM
          Second Call to TataSky helpdesk: 31st July 2008 6:30PM
          Third Call to TataSky help desk: 01 August 2008 4:30PM
          First call from TataSky Helpdesk: 01 August 2008 7:00PM (saying he will call back with an update by 02nd August 5PM)
          Fourth Call to TataSky 02-August-2008 1PM (To get more details about cancellation, here it is):
          After you subscribe to TataSky, there is no cancellation policy, you either take it or stop recharging the account. TataSky is good enough to take back the dish free of cost for now(dish is TataSky’s property). From the looks of it, they might ask for money in future to take the dish back.
          Only cancellaion option available *before* you take the delivery of Digicomp (set top box). happens only after a delivery of Digicomp is attempted and you denying the delivery and the Digicomp reaching the warehouse - this itself might take weeks (I haven’t got a delivery yet, after a week), and after the confirmation from warehouse that I have denied the delivery, Tatasky will take another 10 working days for the processing of refund.

          So what happens if warehouse didnot confirm that I have denied the delivery? Simple, I lose Rs.1499, which I have paid through credit card. And the problem is, for any complaint, I have to call TataSky helpline, and they can simple ask me to wait for an unspecified time - which could be weeks.

          Now, I dont know if I can go to consumer court, as I dont have any proof of purchase except my credit card statement (purchase was made through phone). Digicomp has not yet been delivered, and I dont know if they give a bill along with Digicomp. If anyone can help me get out of this mess, Please do.
          i'll completely agree with the fact that the company TATASKY is not worth its name and fame...

          i ordered a settop box on 26th july and till date 5th aug..its not deliverd and the cust care is worst...they go on making false promises to the customer.

          they are nothing other than frauds...who just keep the customers money for more than a month's time and cancellation wll take another month's time...high time for the govt to interfere in this and teach these fraud companies a lesson.

          It is clear that Tatasky is not keen to satisfy customers by replying (if not redressing grievances). Last week I posted a complaint in this column, in which I had requested Tatasky to justify their charges, compared to many competitors, who offer better packages at a cheaper price. Till this moment, I have neither got a call nor any e mail, obviously indicating that they have chosen to ignore my complaint. I am sure that this is a dangerous trend which will lead to more business to their competitors. I am contemplating on other options.

After pressing for more details, he finally agrees that he will check with the "concerned" department and some one from his team would get back to me.

          So i think, Tata Sky people are just Fooling, nothing else they are doing

          TataSky — NON DELIVERY OF DIGICOMP

          I HAVE APPLIED FOR DIGICOMP HD+ ON 15TH OF MARCH ,AND IT WAS PROMISED TO BE INSTALLED WITHIN 48 TO 72 HOURS, BUT WAS NOT INSTALLED EVEN AFTER 10 DAYS , SO ON 26TH I REQUESTED TATA SKY TO REFUND MY DEPOSIT OF WHICH THEY SAID THAT SOME ONE WILL CALL IN 24 HOURS BUT AGAIN IT HAS BEEN 2 DAYS NO BODY HAS CALLED
          I DONT EXPECT SUCH SERVICE FROM AN ETHICAL COMPANY LIKE TATA

          Suggest you send a mail to [protected]@tatasky.com with details of the transaction reference number and your contact details. they will surely respond. I had a very good response from them when something similar happened. I received a call instantly and the agent ensured my issue was resolved to my satisfaction

            I have given request for relocation of existing connection on 22/9/2008. I had requested my installation to be done on 1st oct 2008. I had called customer care officer for more than 20 times, each call lasted for about 15 minutes average. Till date i.e. 14/10/2008, this issue is not resolved. I request you guide me the methodology to sue Tatasky in consumer forum.

            Yes I agree with this and would like to sue them.. they think they are the boss and behave the way they want.. I have almost spend 4 hours talking to them in past couple of days without any outcome.

              I am tata Sky user my Cust ID is [protected], my experience is as under
              - It have good quality.
              - My first bill with delivery was for amount lessthan paid by me, i have made complaint but not got response.
              - Website never opens or take to longtime.
              - Login page is not working.
              - I have taken Jumbo pack with one time yearly payment, thereafter charges of Digicomp & subs reduced substianially but i have been at disadvantage since than.
              - Inspite of jumbo pack all the new chennela require further payment.
              -Finally i bought being Tata Company it will have good response, but i m wrong.
              I feel they are here to made money out of the early entry in this segement.
              - I feel govt look into even this companies who are absuing the license.

                ello sir/madam,

                i am a tata sky dealer in chandigarh. i am facing some problem from our distributor . he forcing me to purchase atleast 5 pieces of digicom every month and he said me that if you will not purchase 5 piece of digicom of tata sky then your demo will be disconnected . we already have 5 piece in stock now so how could i purchase more piece. in every month i sold around rs.45000 to 50000 recharge voucher of tata sky.and i also convince the costumer to purchase tata sky but if costumer don't want to purchase tata sky so how could i force him to take tata sky.so it is my request to tata sky company if this type of forcing is going on every dealer of tata sky then we will unable to sell your tata sky products. the name of distributor of tata sky is PARAS, SECTOR -35, CHANDIGARH . so it is my request to tata sky company please pay attention on my problem.

                  i have purchase a tata sky connection on 13 oct, but till today 17 oct they have not install disk . I even call customer care so many times.                     I am writing this mail out of frustration having suffered agony of placing an order to purchase a Tatasky Digital TV connection on line.
                    It was on September 11, 2008, I ordered for a DTH TV connection online and paid a sum of Rs.3999/- through my credit card. There was no indication that such connection will take 3-4 days time even to deliver hardware, till the payment was actually made. I did not receive any hardware for 7 days, which compelled me to cancel the order. I talked to Ms. Sandeep on 18.9.2008 at about 8.30 pm. I was given ref.no. 1-[protected]. It was promised that the refund payment will be made within 10 days.
                    But, one of the visitors to our house pointed out that it is much easier to buy connection from a dealer. Foolishly, I again placed order to a local Tatasky dealer - named - Anil Electronics, Booth No. 26, Sector 18-D, Chandigarh on 20.9.2008. I paid Rs.1499 vide invoice no. 762 and Rs. 2500 vide invoice number 1999 dated 23.9.2008. I was given subriber ID No [protected]. This connection is working for which payment has been made in caseh.
                    The details of the payment vide including invoice numbers digicomp number etc was given to Mr Aman on 29.9.2008 at about 6.30 pm. I was told that the refund payment shall be made within 10 days.
                    After ten days, i called customer care of TATA SKY at about 2.00 pm on 10.10.2008. I talked to Nagesh and later with Ms Sheya. I was told that process is on and refund payment will be made as soon as the process is complete.

                    I have not received any hardware through courier. Only hardware received is against cash payment to local dealer. It is one month but the refund has not been made. Since payment has been made, the company officials have adpopted attitude of non-cooperation.
                    Please help a consumer of his money.

                    TataSky — Non Delivery of hardware even after 10 days

                    Dear Sir

                    I have placed an order for TataSky through your customer service on 3rd Oct & paid by Credit card ( Name K.P. Dhody )

                    But even on 10th Oct Did not get the delivery for the hard ware. Even after speaking to tatasky Call Center many times & speaking till to the team leaders like Ms Preeti Fernandez I am just getting assurance of the call back but no one ever bothers to call back & inform status..

                    It is more surprising that they are neither giving any status of delivery nor they are canceling the order.

                    My money is Bloked with TataSky & I see no action being taken by any one at TataSky.

                    Which Proves that the policies of tataSky are not customer friendly & you only believe in troubling customers with lack of proper co-ordination among your own depts , Lack of willingness to help the customer , Fooling costumers with just assurance with no concrete information.

                    I regret to point out I am highly dissatisfied with the over all working of TataSky & regret having booked tatasky through call center. Although local venders are ready to install the same in 3 hrs I am unnecessarily waiting for 8 days after blocking my hard-earned funds.

                    I had ordered a Tatasky connection for my brother Rajesh Singh in December 2007 on phone. The number I used to call was [protected]. Post that I cancelled the connection in first week of January knowing that he already has purchased one. The amount has not been refunded to me yet. I had paid Rs. 4000 by credit card. I have been calling Tatasky regularly since past 3 months, but it has been of no use.                     The same problem I am facing for past 3 days. I placed the order through my HDFC credit card and the TATA Sky executive name was Ashis (hyderabad number[protected]. They told me that they will beproviding the box within that day itself. But till now nobody has come. I called them many times everytime they are telling that they will be coming within 2 hours, 3 hours like that.

                    Just now one technician called me and told me he will assigned for this. So, just think just now they assigned this to someone and for past 3 days they making me fool.

                    Is this the way of salling TATA Sky product. But in advertizement they are saying good customer care and blah blah blah...

                    My sugession to people is that don't belive in TATA Sky customer care, you book through local dealer. That will be easy.

                        I had booked for TATA SKY service on 4th Oct 2008 and paid Rs. 3999/- for full one year subscription, at time of booking i was told that your hardware(Set-top Box) will be delivered with 72 workings hrs. On Monday i.e. 6th Oct 2008 when spoke to call centre executive, they informed me that since we take 72 WORKING hrs; hence it will be delivered by wednesday, but we can send you today itself, but unfortunately it was delivered on Monday and since then i have been chasing them on daily basis and that 3-4 calls in day( at least 25-30 Minutes per call), but not getting any concerte answer.

                        Everytime i get a new date, it's been a week now, but no delivery of order. i have tried to speak with everyone in Tatasky, but all in vain, i think they have cheated me. i even don't know whether writing here will be any help to me or not.

                        All i want is to teach them a lesson for this pathetic and poor service, i am actually exhausted with my words now and not getting any wayout on this. please help...

                          I want to know that why Tata Sky is charging so much for so many channels in the name of so called packages when we are paying rs. 260 pm as subscription charges. Every now and then they are including some or the other channel in a so called package (recent eg. ESPN STAR SPORTS) Sports Platinum package. Charging Rs. 40 pm for 3 channels whereas they already made NEO SPORTS package and TEN SPORTS channel package few months back (charges being Rs. 30 pm for NEO SPORTS & Rs. 15 pm for TEN SPORTS). Can anybody from TATA SKY or whereever telll me why on the earth you are looting the consumer like this ? Can anybody tell me what are the charges rs. 260 for ? What are the channel bouquet costs or per channel cost ?
                          I tried contacting TATA SKY so many times but not getting any satisfactory reply's. They are just avoiding this thing. I just want to know why we should pay so much for all these channels seperately? Isnt it a monopoly sort of thing that whenever there is any sport event coming up you guys are charging ppl like anything?

                          Tata Sky — Per Channel charges not available instead Bouquet

                          Dear Sir:

                          As per Trai guidelines, after the initial basic 100 channels or so, the service providers were to offer per channel cost to the subscriber to choose channels of their choice. Instead they offer bouquet of 10 -15 channels in which subscriber is interested in two or three and has to pay for all unrequired ones as well.

                          You are requested to do away this wrong implementation by the service providers so that subscriber get right value for his money. Your prompt action is solicited.

                            We have sent many requests to tatasky customer care to telecast DD-Sapthagiri Channel, they tell us that they cannot give that channel.

                            DD is a free channel, Why cant they give. Tatasky or whoever it is they should telecast all DD channels.

                            Pls look into this asap

                              Hello,

                              I had purchased the Rs. 1499/- (free installation under Festive offer) scheme of Tata Sky on 1st Oct, 08 through online purchase using credit card. I was told by their executive Shailesh that the setup box will be delivered within 3 working days from then. The 3rd working day fell on 6th Oct. But it was not delivered. I didn't receive any call / email either on the update on delay. I called up their helpdesk. The customer service center guy committed to me that it will be delivered on 7th Oct. Then I called up on 8th Oct and escalated it to their senior executive Kunal. He promised me that he himself would call me back by 9th evening positively to provide an update on the delay and also arrange for the immediate delivery. Neither did I receive the setup box nor the call from Kunal.

                              It is extremely frustrating and I would really like to find out a way to sue the company for holding up my money; misleading customer; giving false committments; and for not abiding by their protocol.

                              The help desk of Tata Sky is also pathetic. It takes at least 10 mins everytime to get connected to the customer care executive and if they transfer the call to some other representative, it takes another 10 mins. So, the money wasted in calling them up also adds up to the grievance.

                              Besides they don't have any link on their website to escalate issues. Perhaps they know due to their pathetic service their website will get flooded with complaints!

                                TataSky connection, the Ac adapter to Digicam got damaged within 4 months, even though our electrical circuit panel got tripped automatically as a safty measure during voltage fluctuations. Note that all the bulbs, fans, and electronic items are working fine. Only tatasky AC adapter got damaged that shows the quality of items supplied.

                                When reported to TataSky Service engineer, he demanded Rs. 350 for replacement. After the item was replaced, he was taking the damaged part with him. When I asked him to return my damaged part, he simply removed the new part, took it and walked away.

                                They think that customers should simply nod for whatever they say? Can't they give any Warrenty for the items supplied? I made a mistake of buying your product? I put my leg in . The only solution is simply move your leg away from it.

                                  Today I gave a legal threat to Tatasky, those guys are giving us the only option to buy tatasky online through indiaplaza(its pathetic). I got into there trap, I ordered tatasky through indiaplaza for 2499 bucks. I was supposed to get the 1000 bucks worth of recharge voucher free with it. But as you would have guessed it by now that I didn't. I kept on mailing/calling indiaplaza but no proper response from their side. Finally they gave me the contact of some distributer in pune(driveindia), and they were patheti"car". Today I marked a mail to my lawyer(who's my wife) and now I'm going to get legal with the guys and sooner or later it will sorted out in a right manner.

                                  I am also having a similar harassment by TataSky in bangalore, Most pathetic customer care i have ever come across. It reminds me of issue i had with microsoft just 02 years back, in spite of having purchased genuine copy of windows, the ladies at the other end kept on telling that it was pirated.I have just now forwarded a online complaint to Tata sky Nodal Officer, Let me see what action he takes
                                  The email sent to the Nodal Officer has solved the problem, a executive from his office called me in the morning and said that the problem will be solved today itself and within 24 hrs of dispatch of email my account has been charged with the required amount, he also promised that package would be changed today itself to the one which i had desired and actually ordered for
                                  So finally I am able to watch TataSky after a delay of 72-80 hrs after deactivation of service and an expenditure of around 200-250hrs towards telephone charges for explaining all the details every time to the pathetic, irresponsible, uncaring and too polite to be of any usefulness HELP LINE (i am not aware if any tollfree number exists)

                                    My Tata Sky connection has not been working for the past 4 days. I tried to contact customer care numerous times. However there was no response whatsoever. Whenever I call the customer care number, And press the option to report a technical fault; I’m put on hold indefinitely.

                                    I have waited for 30 minutes each time to talk to a customer care associate and finally had to hang up in frustration. I’m unable to receive even a single channel on my Tata Sky connection. Whenever, I try to access a channel, I receive a message that says “Please contact Customer Care if you want to view this Channel”. Now this message is repeated for all the channels. As a result of which I have been unable to view even a single channel for the past few days.

                                    Tata Sky’s Customer Care service (or the lack of it) leaves much to be desired. I’m appalled by the lack of basic courtesy that Tata Sky has shown towards a Customer. I can't get in touch with them online either. I'm stuck with this pathetic service and I don't know how to get rid of it!!

                                    I wonder what the procedure is to return/cancel the subscription. The horrors of Tata Sky!! Stay far, far away from this one.

                                    From last 2 months we are finding disturbance in vewing picture quality. We had mail regarding this problem to Tata Sky. In response they had given a mail there would be service charge of Rs.350/- will be charged. But we denied to pay service charge to stating that we had not received a single service after having connection and request to give service free of cost.
                                    In response to our second mail engineer had visit to us and changed the found a problem in set of Box and changed it. He told us company has giving you service on free of cost and it extending 1 year warranty period for the same as per instructed by Bangalore HO. He had taken a sign on a form for service provided on that we clearly stated service is free of cost and charge is not applicable.
                                    Now we came to know that service charge has been debited to our a/c and we received a massage if a/c has not been recharge today itself the net work would be disconnected.
                                    I had send one mail today morning.

                                    I disagree with you since its considering their customer service.. tata has been known for their customer care and if you do read properly you will know they have the best CC compared to any other DTH guys.
                                    I am facing similar problem for last 3 days. After pleading with customer service, I'm told that I've to wait for two more days.Only God knows for how many more days i've to suffer without TV.

                                      My id [protected] got deactive on 17/4/2014 & I recharged with rs.361.0 afterwhich the a/c balance showed Rs., 339.0, dont know why? Activation not done, massage from 56633 was insufficient balance.Again I recharged Rs.351.0 on 20/4/2014, massage on RMN is balanceRs.679.0. Yet my id is inactive .MAY I KNOW THE REASON ?
                                      we are not getting signal in our T.V. from 11.03.15 Hence we are not able to watch any programme or channel.
                                      The indication appears in the t.v. screen as "NO SIGNAL"from the set top
                                      box.please solve the problem and restore connection at the
                                      earliest.

                                      unable to see the programme

                                      From past 3 to 4 days i am not able to see any of the channels.i have called in the help line numbers bt no progress..my balance is being deducted but not able to see the program..very disappointed..

                                      unsuccessful recharge

                                      i have recharged my tata sky on 31stjan2015 at 12pm my transaction id[protected] and service id is [protected] ihave recharged for RS 240 till date i didn't get recharged my phone no is [protected]

                                      low connectivity

                                      Many 9f the channels do not work in day time. HD channels keep on lagginglagging.

                                      OVER CHARGING FROM last two months

                                      i wanted to deactivate active music which they are not doing it due to which i have to pay recharge within very 10 days

                                        I have read this entire blog, the information is true and factual, They really cheat the customer. why these services were established earlier to reduce the price right. What’s happening now ???

                                        One more thing why don’t they inform the customer earlier before changing the price ?

                                        they want to retain the business by hurting the customers

                                        THESE JUST SELL THE DIGICOMP BOXES BUT NEVER ATTEND THE PHONES.
