I bought one LED from Next Retail, Sector 31, Gurgaon on 1st Oct 2012. While selling they promised for good service and said that they will deliver LED on the same day, but wall-mount could not be installed due to time constraint. They promised to install wall-mount latest by 3 Oct 2012. I agreed on that and LED was delivered to me on 1st. The person who came to deliver LED, installed table-top stand and said that some other person will come on 3rd and with wall-mount and will install.
On 3rd Oct, I reminded Next at 11 AM so that I could get wall-mount installed on time. The person who attended my call said he will send someone to install wall-mount. I followed them 3-4 times on this because no one visited to install wall-mount, and the service was so poor that I had to remind him complete case everytime.
One technician visited my home at 4PM and he said wall-mount comes with LED box only and he asked me to contact Next for wall-mount. Technician left that moment. I followed up with Next again 2 more times, I got a response from Jay (or Jayesh) that technician is coming to Next to collect wall-mount and will installed as soon as possible. When things were not settled till 5:30PM I again called Next, and was surprised to know that they were waiting for me to come there and collect wall-mount. When I asked that it's Next responsibility to deliver things at my place I was told they don't have anyone to deliver that time.
Finally I had to visit Next again to collect wall-mount. The person who attended me there was the same who sold me LED. With all our discussion he was not at all sorry about this delay, he was trying to defend every questions I raised and saying all these as miscommunication. Statement such as 'customer is coming to collect wall-mount' when customer has not said so is also a kind of miscommunication, sounds silly, isn't it?
Atleast they should promise only that which they can make, and they should agree that it's their fault and make corrective action. I think Next has not taugth this to their employees. Really poor service from Next which I did not expect. Was this information helpful? |
