VCITI — Refund of Booking Amount

I had booked a villa in hogwarts 5 months back and at the time of booking they had promised that they will refund the amount in 7 to 14 days but inspite of my continuous follow up they didn’t do the refund and infact it was a mental harassment for more than 3 months and in July they had done partial refund and promised me that remaining amount will be paid in a month and again after 1 month follow up I got a post dated cheque of 2L from their partner which is land developer(Pionier) with 16th August 2023.

I had deposited the cheque on 16th August which was returned due to insufficient balance, then I contacted the representative from pionier Mr. Rajesh who had asked me to represent the cheque on 21st August but again the cheque was returned due to insufficient balance.

Finally I had to write a mail to pionier developers, they had confirmed me on mail to represent the cheque on 28th August which was again returned due to insufficient funds.

I had paid 3.5L but they had done a refund of only 1L in July and 2L cheque which was given which was not honoured.
