Vodafone — NO RETURN OF MONEY

We took two Vodaphone numbers [protected] and [protected] which costed us Rs.1100 but these numbers are not being activated and the company is not even giving us refund.We have been complaining to the company's executives Neel,Nitin,Harish and Dharmendra Kumar since one and a half months but there is no response and we haven't got our money back neither the sims have been activated.We now seek redressal.

Vodafone — Refund of Security Money

My security money not refunded from vodafone. I have been since 1years 8 time go to punjabi bagh central market vodafone customer care store. request no. is [protected].

Receipt no. is 21754. Rs.250/- (Two Hundred Fifty Only)

Kindly do this as needed.

        Vodafone — Cheating in recharging

        Dear sir,

        My mobile no. is [protected] ( prpaid with Vodaphone). I asked to retailer on 19th Oct to recharged my mobile with a voucher of Rs.400/ and further with Rs.74 and Rs.54 for reducing the tariff charge of local and STD. The retailer took Rs.529/e from me and told that amount will intered to your account. Rs. 400/- was intered to the my account and SMS came that your account balance is Rs.356/- and also SMS came that Rs.75/- and Rs.54/- are in process for activation. Till evening of 21st niether Rs.54 nor Rs. 75 /- was activated and hence reduced rate was not applicable on local and STD.I was talking on higher tariff even though paying of Rs74/- and Rs.54/-. Later on talking with Vodaphone on 111 they activated the Rs.54/- on evening of 21st and then reduced tariff get applicable. But they have not still activated Rs.75/- and i am talking locally on very high rate. Yesterday, i rang up the 111 and they told that activation of Rs.75/- is not possible now. I have lost Rs.75/- and also loosing money on talking at high rate for local. It is the totally fault of Vodaphone as well as the retailer. please do your appropriate action on this issue and i should get recovered whatever i lost in this affair.

        Vodafone top up card — used top up card

        I am using Hutch and then now Vodafone for the past 4 years.
        My number is [protected].

        I got a Vodafone top up card for rupees 100.00, on 08-November-2007, at Katpadi, Tamil Nadu. And tried, processing the given 13 digit top up number. But I was not able to do that, I called up to Vodafone customer care centre and they told me that the number is already topped up by some body else, on 3-November-2007. And they also told me to get back to the shop keeper.
        I went to shop keeper, he told that he is not responsible for that and will inform to the dealer.
        After two days I went to the shop again to ask that, the shop keeper refused to give any sort of solution and since the dealer told that he is not responsible.

        Now I request you that I wanted to know who is responsible for this.
        I really feel very bad on the irresponsibility of the concern people. If this is the condition for the people like us, can’t imagine about the innocent people.
        This is happening second time for me.
        First it was only 30.00 rupees, I dint take it that serious. If this has happened again for my 100.00 rupees, this may happen for any amount of rupees.

        these guys never give any responce if there is any kind of complains given, i have written so many mail regarding the excess payments collected but these guys are not ready to reply me back on any of mails. I think they they have no idea what does costumer service is all about.

        I had taken a totally packed prepaid card in Mumbai on 5 sept, but as I was in roaming I could not be able to dial toll free 140.I immedietely called to customer care executive.He asked the card serial number and 16 digit recharge code and replied that you cannot recharge from there or else you call to Mumbai Customer care.When again I reached Mumbai I tried to recharge but the messase came that this card is used by someone else.How it is possible.
        There are only two options either your customer care executive had been used this card or you have delivered a fake card to local vodafone centers I have registered a complaint at Vashi vodafone centre attending was Sameer Cheulkar.The same day your message came that your service registration No is[protected] and assured to respond my query by 13 sept at 10:56 am.I was waiting but in vain .No response from vodafone
        I have wasted my valuable time not for mere Fifty Rs card but to understand the people how Worst services Vodafone is giving to Customers

        I agree with you, some of the retailer may do like this as silly things, but we should pay the money once we received the message from vodafone, that "your request for Rs.75/- is processed, pl pay to the retailer"

        If we are not getting the message, we should not pay the money to the retailer.. this is the lesson for every one..

        Because, after the easy recharge comes, no one is standing in the retailer shops, they just write their numbers in the piece of paper which is available in the top of the shopkeeper's table, and paid the amount to the retailer, and went off..

        If the shop keeper, has misplaced that piece of paper, thats all..

        So, we supposed to be caution as for as the easy recharge is concern.

        Vodafone — AFTER REFILLING THE CARD FOR RS.200 I AM ABLE TO CALL OUTSIDE, IT HAS NOT YET ACTIVATED

        I VE RECHARGED THE MOBILE VODA PHONE CARD ON SATURADY BY ICICI BANK, I VE BEEN DEBITED BY RS.200/- BUT MY CARD IS NOT RECHARGED YET,

        YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE INCONVENIENCE CAUSED TO ME. I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER PERSONALLY.

        vodafone top up — missing credits

        Sir,
        I have arranged to get a top up credit of Rs 225/- for the mobile phone [protected], located at Mysore ( Infosys campus), through Agarwal Mobiles, Bhootnath, Indiranagar, Lucknow on 21st February 2009 at around 16:00 hrs. It was charged from this end. But it has not been credited till date to the mobile sim in name of Aalok Srivastava. I inquired with Agarwal Mobiles, the service provider who directed me to send mail to u as he can not do any thing in the matter. May I have your attention to look in to the matter and get it credited to the said mobile phone number. Pl reply definitely.

        I did online recharge using your http://www.vodafone.in/Pages/index.aspx site to [protected] ...I have selected Karnataka (which is correct) and YES BANK. I chose 201 rupees full talk time 30 day validity option. I filled up the information, it redirected to YES BANK I filled up my customer ID and Password. I typed 201, clicked the only option, I got password SMS to my another number ([protected]) tagged with YES BANK account, I typed the password, did the transaction to Vodafone BILLDESK. I recieved confimation page with confirmation number (54508). My cell is not yet recharged. I rechecked by filling confirmation number and my cell number in vodafone site. It said id is invalid, even I called your cutomer care(111) 6 times. First agent told me to wait for 1 hour, 2 agent told me to wait for 24 hours, 3rd agent told me to half an hour to recheck it. 4th agent told me to wait for 2 hours that an update is going on, 5th agent told me to wait again, and told if recharge not done then ur money ll be taken back to my YES BANK account.

        WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON TO REACHARGE JUST 201 rupees.

        EITHER VODAFONE OR YES-BANK ONLINE THINGS ARE NOT WORKING WELL

        I Am Bhupesh Gajanan Holikar on 13th January 2010 there was call from this no [protected] I think so Mr. amit he told me that there is good scheme from Vodafone saying that there is good plan of VF TALK 199 ONE SEC PLAN he told me every thing for 14 min. then to confirm his senior called me [protected] name Shilpa she also explained me and told me to take TICKET PLAN 299* I accepted and she told me to pay Rs. 350/- cash and you will get card in 48 hours and then at 5:15PM her executive name Jatin No. [protected] came and took from me Rs. 350/- and went saying you will get your card within 48 hours by courier. So waited till 15 January, 2010 till 5:00PM no one came so I called shilpa but she did not picked up the phone (nearly 58 times I called her ) but she did not picked up the phone so I called Jatin he told me you will receive till 6:00PM but after not receiving courier again I called jatin but he used to cut my phone.
        Today(16 January 2010 when I called shilpa same thing happened she did not picked up the phone and when I called from landline she told me that I am In Pooja and she cut my phone .

        Dear Sir,

        This is Sunil Gaur. I have a vodafone mobile connection. It is of chennai and presently I am in Mumbai. I went to the retailer and asked him to top it up by 200/-. Through phone he did it. I received a message to pay 200/- to the retialer. I paid the retailer and after some time i received an SMS that my account had been refilled by 46.81/-. After calling the customer care, they told me that their is no voucher for 200/- its for 198/- and since I charged for 200/- the rest of the amount has gone for validity. though I already have a life time validity.
        I request you to do something for these people so that they don't cheat innocent people anymore. had I charged it by 198/-, I would have got 171/-. For my innocence and trust in vodafone I made a loss of 120/-.
        Please do something so that innocent people can be saved by these cheaters.

          I am using BLACKBERRY.i recharged my number with rs 399 top-up...but didnot recived any confirmation message..(10th july2012..and i got 0.7rs.Tranaction id:DL[protected]) my BIS servies are not activated yet, more than 4 days have passed, but i m not able to activate these so called bb services for vodafone. but your vodafone executives failed to give me any kind of solution..m totaly frustrated..with this kind of behaviour from your side. its routine for me to call at the customer care 10-15 times in a day and get request/compaint no. which has no meaning. i feel its totally useless support staff with no expertise. in this week i have talked to so many staffs....they will say sorry twice or thrice in a sentence but doesn't really mean.
          i have not received a single call from CC to rectify or rather i should say identify the problem. the last resort is to change the service provider. i guess this is what they are waiting for... i would appreciate this my matter is taken seriously.

            Vodafone — deduction of credit

            my mobile no [protected]. job alert service have been activated by the the company and rs 30 have been deducted from my account without any request from my side

            Vodafone — unauthorized GPRS Connectivity

            Vodafone pre-paid card has comes with a auto activated GPRS system. When you activate the card it automatically gets activated without asking the user's permission. And the charges are deducted automatically.
            When i activated my Vodafone pre paid card (Nos. [protected]) the Gprs got activated automatically without my knowledge. I realised something was wrong when my balance started reducing automatically. When i checked my last five call charges i realised that the deduction was due to call charges but due to the GPRS service. I then contacted the customer care service for the rectification or deactivation of the same.
            Since then i had to make three calls only to deactivate a simple service. but by then i had to get a second refill which was also deducting itself because of the GPRS. By the time I had Deactivated the service i had lost almost Rs. 50 -70.
            When i asked for a refund they refused and started giving reasons. and i was'nt given a complaint nos. either.

            I wasted my energy, money and time just BECAUSE of incompetent, useless, uninformed customer care service.....
            this is the only nos. i have...(hey u cant get thru ur own network!!!) ...u can contact me any time between 8 am - 8 pm...

            this is to bring your kind attention to the previously stated problem. this to inform that still no action has been taken. since the past 2 months i have been facing a very simple problem - the GPRS service activated with my card on the 11th of may 2011. my balance keeps on getting deducted for the service.
            this service was not activated by me, it was activated with the card itself. i have been calling the customer care (vodafone - 198) repeatedly to help deactivate the same. i am very disappointed with the service. my balance simply gets deducted without my being informed. and after the balance gets to the minimum my incoming calls also stop. please let me know if there is a solution. and if nothing can come of it i would like to discontinue the vodafone prepaid service. i would also file a officiial complaint with the consumer court regarding the same.
            i would like a reply from you as soon as possible. please do not make me regret my decision of complaining earlier. you can contact me anytime from 8 am to 10 pm. on +91 [protected].

              This is related to my complaint regarding 3G service issue my Vodafone Mobile Number [protected].

              I'm using Vodafone 3G service on blackberry from quite a long time now and i get 1 gb usage free for vl+vmc usage i.e. for online video streaming. To check the available free allowance Vodafone offers SMS code DATA BAL to 111 (toll free) or USSD *111# option 5 then option 1 and also on completion of 1 GB free usage i used to receive and SMS confirimg that post that moment my video streaming will be chargeable.

              I had an issue will malfunction of these services in month of may which was resolved as far as reversal is concerned for old bill not service related issues and I was informed that issue with these services is now resolved and i can refer them for my free usage.

              Then as per the instructions i followed the service to know my available free usage but there was some issue which i raised via e-mail dated 24-May-2012.

              The concern I raised in my e-mail on 24-May-2012 to nodal.[protected]@vodafone.com was regarding discrepancy in Unbilled amount and USSD/ SMS code information for 3G plan free usage balance wherein i asked for clarification but i didn't received any response from nodal team until 27-Jun-2012 when i marked an reminder via e-mail dated 26-jun-2012

              During this time the USSD/ SMS service was both withdrawn without prior notice leaving me with no option to check my available free usage. As per the response dated 27-Jun-2012 I've utilised 1 GB free usage on 17-Jun-2012 but i never received any SMS as well to confirm that as i used to receive it earlier.

              I'm asking for reversal on the grounds of no acknowledgement of my complaint at nodal office within 2 working days as prescribed in auto response and USSD/ SMS service withrawal temporarily without notice and no confirmation of completion of 1 GB free data usage dated 17-Jun-2012.

              If i would have had any option o[censored]SSD/ SMS or SMS confirmation i wouldn't have used 3G service and would have saved my self from extra charges.

              If Vodafone withdraws any service for which they ask customer's to refer it to for free usage without any notice how can customer be responsible for that?

              It's Vodafone system i do not maintain it it's outage is not my responsibility as a customer and why i should bear the monetary loss because of that?

                My grandfather is a user of Vodafone number [protected] for more than 6 years. The sim card got damaged 3 days ago. He went to "Mini Vodafone Store, Om Sai Communication, B-Block Yamuna Vihar", in order to buy a new sim card in exchange of the damaged sim. The concerned person lured and forced him to buy a new post-paid number worth Rs 250. On denial the offer, he refused to give the sim card on the same day with the same number and asked him to come after 2 days. On again visiting the store, he provided the sim and promised that it will get activated within 2hrs. Its been more than 8hrs now, the sim is still not activated.

                I have experienced the same problem with another sim a year ago. I got the same response from the same Vodafone store earlier too.

                I request you to kindly look forward to the issue as soon as possible.

                My Name is Anil . I am not sure if complaining here would really work. But however i am taking this chance.

                My Number is [protected]. I am using this number since more than 5 years now. I was in hyd and recently shifted to Pune. With the help of Vodafone Mini Store located in Sasane Nagar i changed my Mobile Operator. This particular vodafone mini store is one of the most pathetic one i hve ever been, Since 5 years if i am using Vodafone just because i never had any problem with Vodafone and even if i had the customer care made sure that it get resolved asap.

                But Pune, the customer service has been very very bad. The mini store in sasane nagar is trying their best to make sure the reputation of Vodafone goes down. They do not pick my call. Today they picked my call and shamelessly put me on hold. the Number that i have been trying is[protected].

                I have a very simple problem I have paid my bill on Saturday still my Outgoing is barred.Why ?

                Completely Disappointed with Vodafone Services. I don't know if loosing a customer makes a difference but i cant survive without a number for long and if it needs to change my network operator i will change it.

                I had paid my bill on july 5th 2017 and still it is not updated.The vodafone store is closed from july 7th 2017 and the mobile of that store is also not switched off and as per survery the person who is owing the shop has been disappeared with the money

                    This complaint is against vodafone in relation to my number [protected]....This was an Airtel prepaid connection till April 2012....in the month of april I decided to get it ported to Vodafone postpaid....I sent a request to vodafone on 13th or 14th April for portability but soon I realised that I don't want the portability to happen and would like to stick to Airtel....I called up vodafone gave them the unique porting code and asked them about the status of my request....Vodafone told me that the portability will happen in 12 to 14 days....I then asked them to cancel the porting request....After a day or two I received a call from vodafone....they called to confirm if I have asked to cancel the porting request....I confirmed that yes I don't want the portability to happen....I asked the executive if I need to visit the vodafone store....He refused and said the portability will definitely be cancelled and I need not to visit the vodafone store....A few days later I got my number converted to Airtel postpaid...On 7th may I received a text from vodafone stating that my number has been ported to Vodafone....So since that day I was able to make calls from airtel number but who ever called me, got to hear "the vodafone number you have called is switched off"...Although I confirmed with vodafone several times and they appeased me by saying that the portability has been cancelled....I also logged a complaint in the consumer forum twice but nothing happened....I even visited the vodafone store but they were absolutely not helpful....And they rather blamed it on me and spoke to me very rudely and also forced me to use this connection....I was obviously not willing to pay two bills...Eventually I had to change my 2.5 years old number and close the account with airtel by paying the dues....I got a new number with Airtel then....When asked vodafone to close the a/c they asked me to wait for the bill which I have not used even once....After receiving the bill I called vodafone again and got [protected] a/c closed....Then vodafone said that they will close the a/c however they will send me another bill with full and final and I am bound to pay that....This amount is 261.36 due on 12/07/2012 and after the due date the amount due is 286.36....I have never used this connection and hence I won't be paying a sinle peny towards this a/c as the connection was forced on me.

Since last 15 days (starting from Jun 29) , even i am not requesting any service to activate, Vodafone is activating different packs like Cricket,News,Astro,Stock in my number at a time and deducting the balance . Each and every time i use to complain to its customer care . After some time and discussion they re-fund it and after some time again they use to activate these service and deduct my money. These process is happening from last 15 days. I am tired of complaining to them. But they are not solving this matter.                         My number is [protected] and it is under Corporate plan. Since last month I have been following up to add a data plan on my account. I have called several times to your call center and they asked me to send an email to corporate.[protected]@vodafone.com. I had sent the email and they asked me to send an email from a registered email ID with Vodafone. My registered id preival.[protected]@gmail.com has been hacked and disabled. I was not given any information as to how to change my email ID until last week. I have been following up for about a month and they say the charges are valid and it cannot be reversed.

                        I have received a bill of 1749.19.!!!. When I called customer service they said no data plan was activated. I had called and even sent an email. I have been with Vodafone for more than 6 years, Why should customer suffer for the mistake committed by the company.

                                about two weeks earlier,while i was triying to make a call from my vodafone prepaid number [protected],i was told that "this service is not yet activated,call 111 for furthur information". I called 111 and talked with the customer care executives about two times and i was told that my sim is blocked due to some verification problem in my identity. I purchaced this sim card about 5 months before and have submitted all id proofs then and has been using the sim since that day and now vodafone have a problem in verifiying my identity?. I was told to contact the nearest vodafone store and resubmitt the id proofs once again. Since the answers and reasons given by customer care executives were unsatisfactory,i approached the vodafone mini store nearby and i was told that my sim card had been deactivated!?..
                                I have used my sim card mainly for packet data usage and had been enjoyin the service and the net speeds..and now vodafone is giving me trouble...!!!!!?????
                                Now I NEED MY SIM CARD REACTIVATED.AND I can provide any id confirmation online or by call.IThink it is better to get a new sim card than submitting my idcard copy again...
                                I hope there would be some action at the latest.

                                  I purchased a vodafone sim having SIM NO.[protected] and mob. No:[protected] from my local retailer two months ago. Recently, I got a message from Vodafone saying I have to resubmit my documents and photo for verification. When I did the same to my local vodafone store, they refused to reply and said the number is deactivated from December 2011 as per their records and registered in done others name. When I said them that I have necessary proofs such as Sim card's outer cover, they said that won't work. I said them that the number is very important to me, they say they can't do anything.

                                  Rs. 5/- is deducted each day from my balance due to subscription of service alert message to download songs movie etc. The service is not being unsubscribed in spite of repeated request. My mobile no is [protected] and service request number to vodafone customer care is [protected].

                                  Kindly resolve the issue.

                                  I have been giving message since 2 days for deactivation of 3G service on my phone no [protected] and trying to contact vodafone care too, but no response from 2 days. I can't get recharge done because everywhere the message comes that this recharge is not valid for this no.
                                  I ( Rajesh Kumar Sharma) have purchase Vodafone's prepaid sim ( no. [protected]) on 25 June, 2015 from Vodafone store at Gaurav tower, grd flr, malviya nagar jaipur. I have submitted all the required documents at same time. After few days on 03 July, service is deactivated on this number. I received message to visit vodafone store to resolve problem. It is not my mistake, even then I visted the store immediately on same day. The handling customers care representative at same Vodafone store informed me that we have already sent the documents to our company & service will start again tomorrow morning. But, service did not start on next day and vodafone did not contact me. Then, I filled online complaints on Vodafone site. Even then, they did not contact me. Now, three days are completed, but service is not start on this number. Under purchased plan, three days are completely lost. During this time, i faced many problem due to deactivation of service. I am really unhappy & want immediate action again this complaint.

                                    With utmost inconvenience, I am forced to escalate this matter. My vodafone sim with mobile number[protected] got damaged on July 4, 2012 and the very same day I requested for a new sim. Vodafone customer service representative informed me that it would be delivered to me in 48 hours. I got the sim after 2 days but it wasn't activated. I called customer service many a times to activate it and they always told me to wait for 4 hours or 24 hours. After 3 days, that is on July 8, 2012, they told me that the sim they sent me was faulty and they are going to send me another sim. Today is July 12, 2012 and still I haven't got the sim from Vodafone. Each time when I call they will give me a different excuse. You can imagine how much inconvenience a person has to face without a phone for 9 days and also face a lot of problems in regards to official work.

                                    Worst customer service VODAFONE. This is why I said Vodafone is irresponsible. I still have got any call from Vodafone after being told 3 days ago. Is this how you provide service to your customer? Is this how you show your happiness to help?

                                      Hi, This is Nikita G, mobile # [protected]. This Vodafone people activated STD Pack on my number without any request from my side. I called then 3-4 times to Deactivate this plan, but still its not deactivated. It's almost a year now that i am paying for the service which i never activated on my number. This is getting on nerves now.... whenever i call customer care, they put me on hold for 10-10 mins and finally disconnect the call. They are just helpless and hopeless people. Vodafone Customer care is truly worst customer care i have ever seen in my life.
