From the time I’ve posted here first, the car has completely broken down. The EPC and ABS lights are on. We sent a fully functioning car for service and this is the state now. This is a safety issue. Volkswagen customer care has been very rude and trying to bully us into replacing parts at full cost with no explanation at all to how the damage happened after service. They’ve lied about the issue and there’s no mention of it in the service invoice or any emails informing us of the matter.They’ve been trying to fool us into thinking clutch hard and fan motor equates to a malfunctioning throttle and engine wiring, as someone not knowledgeable in car parts, I can still tell it isn’t the same thing, They’ve spent their time arguing with us and insisting we’re wrong about the matter, despite evidence to the contrary, instead of providing any resolution. They damaged the vehicle and sent it back fully aware of the risk to the passengers. We’ve received several calls about buying a new vehicle but nothing to help resolve the matter. Despite commenting here and speaking to the customer support from the dealership, we’re left nowhere. Didn’t expect such UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES from a reputed global company. Absolutely disgusted with Volkswagen India. Buyer beware! This is what you can expect as a long term customer of Volkswagen in India.
