I booked my International return ticket through YATRA on 14th of Dec 2010 ( Booking Reference No.5837058). I was told about the free mobile offer. I made a partial payment of RS 43000 on 14 dec itself. Did my address verification on 15 dec 2010 for free mobile and made a remaming partial payment of 7872 on 22 dec 2010. I called th customer care 2-3 times to know why havent I recieved the mobile, they simply refuse me by saying that i made partial payment on 22nd dec, and last date was 20th. I have gone through the terms and conditions and it says as below.

Bookings made till December 15, 2010 are eligible to get the Free Mobile Phone. Only address verification requests submitted till December 20, 2010 will be eligible to receive the Free Mobile phone. Please check your email for instructions on how to submit a verified address for delivery of the phone.

I did address verfication on 15 of dec itself.

regarding partial payment according to terms and conditons which is

In case the customer avails the Partial Payment facility, he/she will receive the mobile only after the complete payment is made.

I made my complete payment of 22nd dec. 2010

now your yatra team is saying i not eligible for the offer. whereas i have gone through the terms and conditon and i dont see anywhere I am wrong.

In case my dispute is not resolved, I will be cancelling my yatra booking, and will not ever make a mistake of doing my any booking through yatra in future.

We have looked into the matter and would like to thank you for your feedback on the Free Mobile Offer.

As per the Terms and Conditions on the offer (as per - http://www.yatra.com/cheap-flights/free-mobile-offer.html), the full payment for the tickets had to be made by 15th December to be eligible for the offer. As you have confirmed that the payment was made by you on 22nd December, your booking wasn't eligible for this offer.

    Yatra Reference Number BMJ5AE.
    There was no PNR details with Indian airlines .
    We had booked ticket for my colleague Mr Kiran Kamath for Bhubaneswar to Bangalore against Yatra Ref. No. BMJ5AE and Airline PNR RDSB7N.
    When he reached Airlines Counter they said that they have not received payment from YATRA and they have cancelled the ticket.
    Immediately we had contacted Yatra and gave details to Mr KUNAL KARAN extn. no. 2224.
    We had spent over 30 minutes on phone.
    He promised to respond within 1/2 hr, but no response.
    We contacted today Mr Dilkesh Raza, he also promised that within 1/2 nr he will ask Kunal to contact me.
    Again we contacted and gave all details to Vishali, she also promised to respond.
    But, no response.
    This was informed immediately and since last 2 months number of calls, online complaints were made , but no action regarding this.
    Now it is Yatra responsibility to refund and pay compensation for all the harassment.

    Again to remind about the issue: I had booked ticket against Yatra ref no. BMJ5AE and Yatra did not pay money to Indian Airlines and they had canceled our ticket. My colleague could not travel in that flight and suffered a lot. Yatra did not refund the money and no response.
    If I don't get money back by tomorrow 1PM (6th Nov. 2010 1 PM), I will take up the issue with appropriate authorities.

      I had booked two tickets on a flight IC 7806 (Kullu - New Delhi) scheduled on the 28th of November (booking reference no [protected]). The flight was canceled. I had submitted the documents required to get a refund to Yatra on the 29th of November by courier. However, the refund associated with the canceled flight has still not been processed.
      I have called Yatra at least five times to inquire about the refund. Each time I am told that it will take exactly 72 working hours to process the refund. I have sent several mails on the subject too.

      E.g.
      Dear Yatra Team,
      It's been a week since this update. I was informed that the refund would be processed in 72 working hours time, but this has not happened. Could you let me know the status of my refund request?


      Dear Yatra Team,
      The refund under the reference number [protected] has still not been processed. What is the status of this refund, and why is it getting delayed? It has been more than three weeks since I sent all required documentation.

      The Yatra team has replied only once saying that the delay was unintentional from their side and that they would process the refund in 3-4 working days.
      I'm sick of the insensitive way Yatra has handled the process and this complaint is my last recourse before I file a complaint in the consumer courts.

      yatra.com is literally taking customers for a ride. I bet their CEO is one of those corrupt ex-bureaucrats with links to the utterly corrupt aviation ministry. Now they are giving a buy 1 get 1 free offer. Consumers naturally expect that if they buy a Rs. 2200 ticket under this offer then they will get a Rs. 2200 or lesser amount ticket free on the next flight booking from their site plus some taxes. But look at the way these [censored]s scam people. They put a fine print in the terms and conditions of the offer that only the base fare will be given as discount and then they change the base fare to Rs. 200 from Rs. 1800 for a Rs. 2200 ticket from Vadodara-Delhi and Delhi-Vadodara. So they give only a Rs. 200 discount when you use their promo code which they deliberately email 2-3 days late when buying the next ticket. Plus note how their system works. For the same flight from Delhi to Vadodara on Feb 21 2011 the Indigo website is showing base fare as Rs. 1800 while Yatra.com is showing base fare as Rs. 200. The taxes on Indigo are shown around Rs. 500 while on Yatra.com it is Rs. 2200 plus. Wow! How can the aviation ministry sit quietly and allow passengers to get scammed, how can they allow travel websites to set a completely different base fare when the website of the same airline and the same flight on the same day is showing the base fare as Rs. 1800. Not only that, their customer support team are total Delhi-type lukkha people, they way they talk and back answer reeks of sniggers suggesting "oh you you got fooled by our websites scheme, no point complaining". And to add to the woes, their website cancellation page lists ticket cancel charges levied by airline as Rs. 750 when the call centre person told me the charge was Rs. 350, he said that the website is showing a "default charge". Right. Default to fool customers again, and to stop them from cancelling tickets when they realise they have been fooled the first time over. See the attached images for the complete picture. They are also not refunding the Rs. 130 insurance purchased for the flight. Now if no one is travelling on the flight where is the need to buy insurance? But they don't refund that, they cut Rs 350 (airline cancel charge JetLite), Rs. 200 (Yatra cancel charge) and Rs. 130 (non-refundable insurance) so total money eaten by these [censored]s is Rs. 680 for giving no service on a ticket of Rs. 2200. Wow! We Indians are born scammers. Jai Hind, yea riigggggggggggggght.

      Going by my personal experiences as well as the wide variety of complaints on this and other consumer forums, it seems that there is no honest company left in India at all. Shame, shame, shame, the land of the Vedas and the sanatana dharma has turned into a big pile of thanks to the globalised market.

        Yatra reference number [protected].

        I had made a return fight Pune-Delhi-Pune on 25th October with the above reference from Yatra.com.
        They had an offer running for a Free Gift - Reebok Watch with the return flight booking.
        After the booking has been made i was sent an online form to fill in the address details for the dispatch of the watch. I had filled and sent the form on 25th October, 2010 itself.

        The gifts were to be received by 30 Nov, 2010. I did not get any gift till then. I contacted the customer care and i was given new date for delivery 15 December, 2010 and i did not receive any gift till the said date. I again contacted the customer care, I was again given a new date of 31st Dec, 2010 for the delivery of the gift. Now as we all know that 31 Dec, 2010 has already passed and we are in 2011, gift has still not been delivered.

        I have all the mail communication with me.

        Please pursue the matter and expedite the process.

          Dear Sir/Madam,
          I had made booking of Hotel Bundhelkhand Riverside in Orchha( booking reference YT 5705444) on 24th November 2010 for 2nights , Through your travel portal , checkin date : 31st dec 2010 and check out 2nd jan 2011. On 26th November I received a mail from your company saying that I have to make an additional, compulsory amount of Rs 5000/- for New Year gala dinner which if I don’t pay then my booking stands cancelled. It was not mentioned anywhere before booking that there will be such a charge, otherwise I would have considered before making the final payment. I even wrote back the same day, saying it wasn’t justified, but did not receive any reply to my response. I still had time in my hand so I made another booking in some other hotel in Orchha itself ( booking reference YT 5716714) on 26th november2010 for same checkin and checkout dates and I made my train reservations and booked a taxi way in advance so that I don’t have to face any trouble because of new year rush.
          I have packed my luggage and I am all set to leave tomorrow, as I am booked on a train scheduled for tomorrow evening to Jhansi. And today to my surprise I receive another mail from you saying that you have cancelled my booking the 2nd time because there is no availability in the hotel? I am shocked, what kind of portal is this? I have booked a hotel one month in advance and when I am ready to leave , you have a audacity of telling me that there is no booking and that you would refund my money? What am I suppose to do now? I have no words to express my anger.
          I must take this case seriously so that others don’t suffer in future because of your travel portal .U have to Learn a lesson for causing inconvenience to the consumers.
          Kindly, reimburse me for the confirmed tickets The PNR nos. Are [protected] and [protected] amounting to Rs 3000/- and the cost of making new arrangements for the New year weekend. All this have caused me and my family great emotional distress, I don’t know how your company be able to compensate me for the same.

            This is the corresspondence sent to Yatra.com by email on 28th December evening.

            Dear Sir / Madam :

            Ref : YT5901610 and YT5899041

            This is with regards with the above refrence numbers. We had booked tickets to Mumbai Johanesburg for the 25th December to 30th December 2010. By the combination of Jet Airways and Ethiopian Airlines for 9 pax under above 2 reference number. The tickets were booked through telephone with Yatra Executives by Ms.Maninder Kaur. The tickets were issued by Ms. Manjeet Kaur at around 4.00pm. After the tickets were issued Manjeet Kaur mailed me the confirm tkts.

            When we reached the check in counter at around 1.00am we came to know that 4 passenger by name Dr. Neeraj Pandey and family were not there in the jet airways system. Jet airways didnt allow to check in as their names were not there. Because of this the remaining five passenger could not check in as they were traveling in a group of nine along with elderly parents. It was very painful and embrassing situation at the airport in the late midnight. Immidiately we contacted the Yatra office through the toll free number where we were given the number [protected] where we had informed the details about the incidence to Mr. Hemant and his Senior Duty Manager Mr. Ashish Agarwal about the blunder mistake of the yatra.com due to which we had to suffer huge mental distress. We have demanded to issue another tkts for 25th December 2010 by noon to travel to the same destination or refund the total amount immediately, so that we could go back to our home town Lucknow. We have also requested to make the staying arrangemebt for the same night. Mr. Ashish Agrawal intially was not agreeing for the both but later on after some discussion with one of our passenger agreed to refund the total amount for 9 passengers and he will try for staying arrangements compensation on 25th December morning. We had informed about our staying at the Hotel Inter continental The Lalit, near the international airport Mumbai.

            Next day 25th December morning we waited for the same but he didnt called up nor arrange the tickets or refund the money. In turn we have called the gurgaon office number and spoke to Ms. Maninder Kaur about the last night situation. She asked to speak to her Senior Manager, Mr. Abdul Mallik. I had to again inform him about the entire situatuion happend with us. He wanted the same information in writing. In the mean time we had to arrange further journey on 25th December night to the same destination and incurred huge loss for purchasing the new tkt on current prices.

            Next day 26th December was a Sunday our office was closed, so we contacted Mr. Abdul Mallick on Monday i.e 27th December 2010 with refrence to refund amount along with compensation of Hotel Stay amount. He had assured for the refund and will get back to us within one hour regarding the hotel stay compensation once he confirm with Mr. Ashish Agrawal. He didnt turned up, after two hours we had to call him back and again he said he will call back within two hours as his seniors are busy in the meeting. After three hours again we had to call him for the refund and compensation. He was continuously assuring that he will be sending the details of refund through email. Inspite of making several calls to him we have failed to talk to him as he is not coming on the phone.

            Under this situation we are once again requesting for the full refund amount of 9 pax along with accomodation compensation of Rs.31951/- at the earliest.

              I planned to book a hotel for aurangabad through YATRA.com . After enquiring about the hotel through sales Representative. I gave him the money for the for the particular hotel that we both talked about but after couple of days of giving the money i am getting the different hotel booking which is of not that standard and not of my choice . I request everybody please check before making any money transactions which them.

Shame, shame, shame, the land of the Vedas and the sanatana dharma has turned into a big pile of thanks to the globalised market.

                With reference to Yatra Ref number: [protected], for which I have booked initially for 6 people, I have cancelled bookings for 2 people. The journey was from Blr-Guwahati and Guwahati-Blr. After calling the customer care people for about a month (I've called them atleast 8-10 times), they asked me to send to them an Endorsement proof from the Airlines for getting my refund. I went to the airlines (King fisher) and after I've obtained the details, I scanned them and sent it to their customer care mail ID: [protected]@yatraonline.com. I have received an auto generated response from their side mentioning my reference number as : 5588285. I received this mail on Dec 8th. After that I've mailed them twice asking to them about the status. But I have not received any response from them.

                Hoping that someone will look into this issue soon.

                          i would like to remind that on 27/10/2010 an amount of rs 5246 has been debitted from my account by yatra.com a/c unconfirmed air ticket from jammu to mumbai vide booking ref no [protected] and refund has not been made till date. despite my series of requests submitted to them. i am being asked by them to furnish my confidential bank details to avoid the refund. The amount stands remitted in their account as is confirmed by icicibank and is clear from booking ref no mentioned above. iam a retied person and am not able to suffer for no fault of mine. it is requested to do the needful.

                              It is to inform you that I had booked a ticket in spicejet SG-303 from New Delhi to Madurai through yatra.com for my self and
                              my brother( 02 tickets) on 01 Oct' 2010 to be travelling on 02 Oct' 2010. The yatra Reference number is [protected].
                              The booking was unconfirmed, but the amount of Rs. 20,259/- was deducted from my account of Indian Bank, Chinnamanur.
                              I also lodged compliant twice to [protected]@yatra.com to refund the amount at the earliest. In turn they had informed that refund was processed on 05 Oct' 2010,
                              but the amount has not yet been credited in my account. I personally verified my account from the Indian Bank Chinnamanur, but the amount of Rs. 20,259/- has not
                              yet been credited in my account inspite almost one month has elapsed. A copy of Indian bank statement as on state is hereby attached for your perusal.

                              Please approach your banker concerned to credit the amount of Rs. 20259/- to my account at the earliest.

                                  I Achin M Agarwal wants to file a complaint against yatra.com for their irresponsible action which is completetly ridiculous.
                                  My Parents tickets were confirmed for Delhi to los angeles on 31 sep,2010 and returning flight from Los angeles to Delhi on 27 oct,2010 through yatra.com with BOOKING REF ZCOEQ4
                                  But due to some reasons they had a doubt for departure and i jus forwarded a message to yatra on 16 sep asking for jus information regarding cancellations of tickets and but they didn't replied us whether they have cancelled it or any other action they have taken regarding that matter and after that my parents confirmed two days before departing to Los angeles about their tickets and they just departed to Los angeles on confirmed date 31 sep,2010.
                                  Now, when 27 oct,2010 came they just reached the airport for boarding flight from Los angeles to Delhi and after waiting for many hours at airport in this old age then they were told by asiana airlines counter that their tickets had been cancelled by yatra.com on 15 oct,2010.
                                  I want to ask if mail for cancellation is forwarded on 16 sep,2010 to yatra.com for cancellation of both sides of round trip tickets and why they had not called me up or mailed me to confirm about the status of tickets whether to cancel it or not and if they want to cancel it as request is forwarded on 16 sep.2010 itself thereafter they also allowed my parents(the passenger) to board flight to Los angeles from delh on 31 sep,2010i and suddenly on 15 oct,2010 they themselves cancelled tickets by their own without asking us.Tell me if passenger goes outside for tourism purpose they have to come back also so how could they cancel the tickets for one side by their own and now they are asking extra money around 80000rs.This is completly fraud on their part.Tell me first of all my parents are in old age and now they are paying 200$ per day their as thier expenses on regular basis their for theri accomodation and fooding and now they are asked to pay 80000rs more for tickets by yatra.This is ridicuous on their part.

                                      I am with deeply sorrow make compliant against your Yatra booking staff to harass me and cheated with me.I wanted to book the ticket ex.AHEMEDABAD TO COCHIN by flight Indigo no..214, of 08/10/2010 on 07/10/2010 at 19.00 hrs. did contact your booking staff by telephone no.[protected] for booking my flight ticket at that time your staff Mr.AJAYSINGH has told me that ticket will be booked within five minutes, was waiting to confirm my ticket but since long time there was no response from AJAYSIGNG on the same time I was tying to contact AJAYSING on the phone but he was not replying me I tried from 19.30 to 21.00hrs but he was not picking the phone once Mr.Samir has phoned me at 20.00hrs that your ticket is not making due to some problems, he denied to say about the problem, I had to catch the train at 22.00hrs from my city and connect the flight from 400 miles away .
                                      Sir, my elder brother was died at Cochin I had to reach on his funeral ceremony on 008/10/2010 but it was too delay to booking ticket from your side how it is possible that Yatra a big name cannot book the ticket in three hours(3), and why your executive not informing us. I submitted all details on your email address given by your staff ,surprisingly I got the call from Ajaysingh your booking executive at 23.0hrs that my ticket is ok, I booked my ticket though my friends ID at 21.00 hrs,why Mr.Ajaysing called me late night ?why did not he reply me before 21.00hrs! Why not he checked my mail, canceling my ticket due to non performing service from your end, I also sent a mail Yatra.customer care, Mr.chawla, Mr.Ambani and Mr.DhurvSingh………….

                                      The ticket which I did not got at the proper time why should I pay for it? And how your executive debited my account without prior intimation? It is responsibility of Yatra to refund me full amount, how anyone can debited my account without any proper authorization.

                                        Sir,
                                        I have lodged a complaint on 11/10/2010 for non refund of amount on cancellation of ticket by yatra online pvt limited. My flight reference number is [protected], booked from Bangalore to Kolkata for onward journey on 02/10/2010 and from Kolkata to Bangalore on 06/10/2010 with Spice Jet. Out of 4 tickets, 1 ticket was canceled and requesting the company for refund of one ticket amount.

                                        After futile exercise with the company for more than 3 hours on 11/10/2010, I was informed that they have refunded an amount of RS.5427.12 on 03/10/2010 vide reference No.[protected]. But on verification with my Bank M/s. City Bank, they have confirmed that they have not received the amount and confirmed in writing. Please help us to refund the amount immediately

                                        Yatra On Line Pvt. Ltd. — Refund of Ticket

                                        On 12 th June I cancelled my ticket we get the massage the amount will be credited to next 20 days afte we talk to 22nd jjune the answered me the amount will be credited in 6-7 working days . Again we talk to 29 th June again they answered me the amount will be credited within 10 -12 working days. After that we talk today 17 th july again we get the same answered the amount will be credited within 10-12 working days than, I told her I want to talk with senior person she tells me none of the senior person are siting in office and they cut my telephone.
