I had booked a return air ticket for air india which was marketed as a direct return flight from mumbai to new york (Jfk airport).
But this flight is actually via new delhi and involves a complete change of planes and security check. So in short a flight that they sold as a non stop flight was actually a one stop flight.
I did not realize it was a stop flight until i got in the plane.
I think this is cheating on their behalf
