Air India — Cancelled flight and poor service

Dear Sirs,

I unfortunately had an awful experience traveling with Air India recently. I was due to fly from Mumbai to Heathrow on 29th May 2024 however that flight was initally delayed by 3 hours and then cancelled.

No one ever bother to many any clear announcements and given we were due to fly out at 2pm we didn’t actually get to a hotel till 12am. All that time was spent in the airport all because we were simply ignored and not informed about what was happening. Once the hotel was agreed, a further wait for up to 3 hours outside the airport as they only put on 2 coaches for 300+ passengers. No queuing or organisation at all.

All requests for compensation have been rejected by Air India
