I had booked a ticket to travel from Bombay to Leh on 27th of April via Paytm with the booking ID: [protected]. The flight was scheduled to take off on 11th May at 12.40 AM. However, even after reaching the airport at 10PM on the 10th of May, I was not allowed to board the aircraft at the baggage checkin counter. The staff at the Bombay airport informed me that they could not find the details of the flight listed on my ticket. I was later redirected to the supervisors at the Air India counter at Mumbai airport. They were extremely unhelpful and refused to even offer me alternate flight arrangements so that I can make my travel. I was going to meet up with my Family at Delhi airport and then travel to Leh from there together. However, since I was denied boarding at Mumbai airport, I could not make my second flight. Since the airport staff was unhelpful, I had to book a second ticket at a much higher price so that I can meet my family. The original ticket was 15, 890 Rs. While the second ticket I had to book due to the issue I experienced at the baggage checkin counter at Mumbai airport, cost me 24, 804 Rs. Even though it was not a mistake from my side, the staff at the airport refused to raise even a refund request (once again citing that they could not find the details of the flight AI 9114 in their system). I have been following up with PayTM, Air India and Air India express for the past 3-4 days and have not yet received the refund. Instead the airlines is falsely claiming that the ticket was cancelled on Voluntary basis. Requesting your help in getting me justice in this matter.
