Air India — refund of ticket

Dear sir/ma'am,

1. I major veeraj chandra was to travell from my home in pune to chandigarh by air india flight which was to depart from pune on 24 march at 2155 hours and land in delhi at 0005 hours of 25 march by ai854 followed by a connecting flight to chandigarh by ai443 at 0545 hours at 25 march 2020.

2.in view of the appeal by pm shri narendra modi to avoid unnecessary travel i cancelled the said ticket. Also as per directions of the civil aviation no flights will be operating from midnight of 24 march 2020.

3.in view of the above you are requested to refund in full the amount of rs 7030 as you cannot charge me for a cancelled flight.
