Highly unprofessional customer service at Tanishq Bangalore - Phoenix Market city, White field: Extremely disappointing and dishea

TL, DR: Despite calling to check for availability and getting an invitation to visit the store at a particular time (8 PM on Dec 6, 2022), the staff was extremely disinterested, kept us waiting for an hour, was rude, ignorant and highly unprofessional. Absolutely disappointed and felt insulted.

My family and I (Akanksha Pathak) have been purchasing jewellery from Tanishq for the last 20 years. My parents built their trust with Tanishq, which was then passed on to my brother (Mr. Ankur) and his family. Next week for the occasion of my wedding, my brother wanted to give me a necklace and so they connected with one of the members at Tanishq to check their availability. My brother has recently shifted to Bangalore and has been purchasing stuff from the Tanishq store at the Phoenix Market city - Whitefield Bangalore. They contacted an employee - Jai Keerthi at Phoenix, Tanishq and he called & invited us, confirming their availability. This was the first time I visited the store with my brother in Bangalore.
We started with looking at gold chains. Mr. Jai was in extreme hurry and he placed a few boxes and simply went away to serve another person. We requested him to show something that we earlier saw but he did not pay any heed to it. We ignored his attitude assuming he would be busy and kept searching amongst ourselves for what we wanted. We decided on the chain we wanted to buy and then my sister-in-law (Mrs. Shweta) asked him to show her some earrings. Again, after requesting for 20 min, no one even responded. They did not even have the courtesy to let us know that they are busy and will take time. My brother wanted to buy a ring and I was struggling in the store to help him myself but no one paid any attention. After spending an hour, I was frustrated as Mr. Jai served 3 other customers. I went to the counter and asked for the manager. To that I got to know that no managers were available. My brother finally was getting very late and so he asked Mr. Jai to bill the chain and Mr. Jai ignored again. I just couldn't take it any more. I told Jai that this is not right and we said that we will have to leave. No one said a thing with no apologies at all. So we all simply walked out.
We have been going to Tanishq for a few reasons since forever:
1. To experience good customer service - Which clearly Mr. Jai and all other staff members did not care about
2. To explore variety and great designs - which no one was interested to show us
3. Continue to buy Tanishq product because of the trust built over years - Which has been shattered today
I have a few questions to ask here:
1. Why should I go to Tanishq if this is the attitude that is portrayed by the staff?
2. Why should I come to Tanishq all over from the US for my wedding shopping as my only go to shop?
3. How can I bear the insult of my family especially on the most important occasion in my life?
Today I am highly disappointed and feel that my trust is broken. This is not what I expect from a brand like Tanishq who is known for providing an outstanding user experience.
I hope you would take some action on the same to ensure that you do not lose customers like us in the future.

Golden harvest scheme is bluff by Tanishq store and staff

I was told to invest in golden harvest scheme for 10 months 10 installments and two installment Tanishq will provide and you can purchase or withdraw after 12 months - 12 installment or buy product with that prize.
But on maturity after 10 installments they called me and said you can come and close the scheme and you will get 10 months installment amount + voucher (need to use in 3 months).
This is biggest bluff Tanishq Phoenix mall store staff has done to me.
Will Never step to the Tanishq store in life and suggest same to everyone for the same.

I was forced to buy a bangle at a higher weight

I had gone to phoenix mall bangalore on 08/05/2016 at about 1800 hours to redeem rs 50000 invested in golden harvest scheme. We finally decided to purchase a bangle to our liking. The bangle was sold at weight of 16.016, whereas it actually weighed only 15.983 gms. The reason was that the billing person could not bill at the correct weight because the weight tagged was even slightly higher than 16.016 gms. They tried to find another suitable bangle of the similar design, but could not locate one at this weight. The floor manager then tried to sell me a similar bangle weighing around 22 to 23 gms and saying that he will give a discount of waiver of 20% making charges. Please not that this offer was not given initially for the 16.016 gm bangle which i finally bought out of compulsion because i had already wasted more than 2 hours because of the "differing weight" hassle. This was during the akshaya tritiya time. I have noticed later that sms had come to my mobile about 20% off on wastage charges of plain gold jewelry. I bought plain gold jewelry and the same was not offered earlier until the weight issue cropped. I have also got an sms of free gold coin offer on every purchase upto 09 may. We purchased on 08 may. The free gold coin offer was not given because they said that they have already given 20% off on wastage which according to them was more beneficial to me. However, in the initial stage they were only talking about the free gold coin and not the 20% off from wastage charges. Clearly they were not transparent and were not offering published discounts. Finally i accepted to buy the bangle at the higher weight. The bill number is pxb/cm/1163 dated 08/05/2016 at 8:57 pm. Three hours after we stepped into the show room. We had a similar terrible experience when we were coerced by the sales person to become a golden harvest member, much against our wishes because we did not have time due to other engagements. He said that he will get the job done in 5 minutes and took more than half an hour and messed entries with wrong e-mail id which created problems of payment until corrected by me. Overall, the experience on 08 may 2016 was very poor and i have been short changed, however small it may be. At point of time they were pointing out that they are giving me a special favour by offering 20% off from wastage charges. Only later did i realize that the offer has been published, which i saw as a sms much later. Poor show by a brand like tanishq.
