AirTel — for post paid bill

Dear Sir/Madam,
My post paid bill is not received last few month. Due to this problem i am approach to your local airtel office, but no responce by executive and prolem is same.
So i contact with customer care but not solve my problem.

Aitel is deducting 0.30p several times(7-9) per day from my balance without any reason, i called customer care thrice but they unaware of my billing system, due to the baseless deduction i have suffered a lose fo more than 100Rs. I want to know the reason or else i will draft a complaint against Airtel in customer forum. My number is [protected], please revert soon or face the consequences.

This is with reference to the bill number[protected] bill date April 7, 2011 for my Airtel Mobile No: [protected] - Relationship Number[protected]

I have been holding this particular number since the year 2000. I have never faced any Billing issue for the last 11 years. This current month's billing has come as a shock to me. My amount has been arrived at 4793.31 as opposed to my average bill of around Rs. 1500. I had activated the 3G facility on my mobile phone a couple of months back. My first billing after the 3G PLAN of Rs 100 rental a month was activated was Rs. 2346. This amount was justified as I had used the services when I was on roaming usage in Kerala.

This amount of Rs. 4793 is totally not justifiable, as I am always 99% on WI-FI connection at my office as well as my residence. I had activated the 3G service only to use it as required whenever I do not have access to a internet connection. I was prior to this using a 2G service. I am at my office from 11:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening. The moment I reach office, my connection automatically changes to WI-FI and so I will not have to use the 3G service at all. Once I reach my residence, I again have my WI-FI activated as I have an Unlimited Broadband plan at home too. Infact my WI-FI at my residence is switched on almost the time round the clock. My residence number is 42642129. You can have this checked at your end.

I would like you to have my bill checked as there is a huge discrepancy in the billing. There have been amounts mounting to around 500 to 600 on certain days and that too around late evenings to midnight which is next to impossible. Whenever I browse the internet at home, I make it a point to check if the WI-FI is switched on before I even attempt to make a browsing. In such circumstances how can I be billed for the 3G usages of 344578 duration/volume costing 5277.90, and in fact I use my laptop with the WI-FI connection for any of my work. The phone is not used for any major browsing, except for checking my official mails, for which anyways, I always check if the WI-FI is activated always to avoid using the cost of the 3G service.

This is a very very big discrepancy in the billing, and is not justified by any cost. You have to check my residence number of 42642129 in which you can verify that the WI-FI is always on. It is very difficult for me to make such a huge payment. I request to you to investigate into this at the earliest and provide me a fair and justifiable answer to my problem. I had a very high regard for Airtel and wanted to always use the 3G services, but after such a unjustifiable billing, I was forced to cancel my 3G services yesterday afternoon with immediate effect.

AirTel — BILLING

Hello sir, Working as an area manager for an insurance company and will be roaming for atleast 6 days in a month. I took a connection from AIRTEL and i am using this for the past 3 months. I never had a bill fo 3000/-This is even after i opted all the package for unlimited sms, airtel to airtel free. Still my bill crossed 3000/-. First bill was 4300/- when complaint reduce to 3300/-If they had a seconds billing system they would have informed me but they didn't.Today when i talk to my friend in Erode who is a distributor he gave me this option.Sir, i am an educated person i can go to the customer care think about the poor public who doesn'tknow thinks.
2) There is an automatic disconnect happens while we are talking to the customer this is mainly when we start talking or after some time. As you know since the billing is 3 minutes even got disconnected in first second itself we will be charged.
3) 1 sms going as 10 sms to the other person.This is another mode.This happens both in post paid and prepaid. Who has got time to look into it due to there busy schedule.
These type of charges is a heavy load to the customer
these money is used to show the growth, buy new companies and to bribe and get 2G AND 3G.

AirTel — Airtel bill

Hi,

I am Amol Zambare from Pune.

I was using airtel postpaid [protected] which I closed in March.

At the time of closing, I have paid the complete bill amount & there is no outstanding.
But I am getting recovery mails from airtel every month about the payment 0f RS 336

I have confirmed from relationship center that there is no outstanding amount with my closed postpaid number[protected], else airtel has to pay me some amount.

I am not able to call to postpaid customer care as I don't have postpaid sim at the moment.

If I try to call from my prepaid number, it gets connected to prepaid only.

Prepaid customer care is not able to give any information for postpaid number.

Plz resolve the matter immediately by calling me on [protected].

If you check, I am still customer of airtel with prepaid service.

But with this kind of service, I am not satisfied & if in future it remains the same I'll switch to another one.


Hope the issue gets resolved soon!!!
