[Resolved]  ALEgION Insurance Broking Ltd — Mobile theft insurance

Sir,

I had purchased a Cell phone in Oct 2009 from Universal. When I purchased, they told me about the mobile damage/theft insurance , I paid additional 450+ as the premium of the New phone.

Unfortunatelly, I lost the phone in bus stand. I tried to trace it but could not find it. I filed a compliant with Police and latter went to Univercel for claiming the Insurance.
I filled in a Form and attach all the docs like purchase recipt, police compliant copy, Non tracable copy etc... in ORIGINAL and send it to ALEgION Insurance Broking Ltd in Chennai. So, I had no choice than to send it to them through a corrier. After attaching all the documents I got back the mail from the Insurance comp twice asking for more info insufficiany of documents. They had given some phone numbers to contant which rings for ever and no one answers. however, I do get a engage/busy message at some time for these numbers but they never pick up my calls.....

This ALEgION Insurance Broking Ltd is just making money form the customers but not responding nor issuing the insurance.

Please kindly let me know what needs to be done.

ALEgION Insurance Service — Cheating on Mobile Insurance

I have the same experience with this ALEgION Insurance Service ,they are not givivng proper respose to me .where can I file a complaint against them.so many times i have sent proper documents again and again they call me and say this is not proper.they dnt give proper response and the mobile I purchased was from Univercell.

I claimed mobile insurance to this ALEgION Insurance Service
Limited.,company . But Till now nobody didn't give proper response.please help me.,

I need suggestion from anyone i[censored] can...hw can i file a complaint against them and who can take proper action .

I have faced the very same problem, I had purchased a mobile in April 09.

It has been more than two months that i have sent the form and other proofs. But still awaiting a response

Log a Complaint in Consumer cell, surely you will get it

I had purchased a Cell phone Nokia 5220(with Insurance) in Sep 10 2009 from Universal, Spenzor Plaza, Chennai.

Unfortunatelly, somebody stolen from my husband from his office. Later we couldn't trace it. Then we filed a compliant with Kotturpuram Police and filed an FIR.
Then we directly went to ALEgION Insurance Broking Ltd in coimbed, Chennai and gave all documents for the claim(the docs like purchase recipt, police compliant copy, Non tracable copy etc...). Company told me that with in 50 days we will get the inusurance money. Two months over, now ALEgION is not picking the calls. They are not responding nor issuing the insurance.

Please let me know what needs to be done.

Dont worry ., Jus file a case in consumer court ., You will be definitely getting your phone .

I had a same issue for the past two months. kindly advice me how to file a case in consumer court whether it will take a lot of time to issuing the insurance or any time limits for every cases.

Hi This is sreedhar, had purchased a Cell phone in Oct 2009 from Universal, Srinivas nagar Bangalore. When I purchased, they told me about the mobile damage/theft insurance, I paid additional 450+ as the premium of the New phone.

Unfortunatelly, I lost the phone in the crowded bus i was travelling. I filed a compliant with Police and latter went to Univercel for claiming the Insurance.I filled in a Form and attach all the docs like purchase recipt, police compliant copy, Non tracable copy etc... in ORIGINAL and send it to ALEgION Insurance Broking Ltd in Chennai. After attaching all the documents I got back the messagel from the Insurance company saying they have received the docs. They had given some phone numbers to contact. When i contacted them they said it will take 45 days, then again i called and they replied 75 days. Now i followed up for the insurance after successful completion of 75 days. However, I do get engage/busy message at some time for my follow ups. They never pick up my calls...


Please kindly let me know what needs to be done.
