I was lossed my mobile Karboon 451 on oct month. and i submitted all documents, some time i contact ALEgION insurance co. office Chennai through phone they were told your process is completed, March 1st week you will get the amt by Checqe.

Please Confirm me while cheque realiseing Date and Courier no After realising the cheque, Because we have to collect the cheque in Courier office only. No proper courier delivery facility in our location.

I lost my cell phone on 10th of August 2009.After 10 days I sent all the documents in original only to get a reply stating insufficint documents(first information report (FIR), SIM replacement slip).As I had already sent the originals where can I get the originals once again???.i got the photocopies of the documents attested from the police station and BSNL office respectively.Unfortunately as I had to leave to Mumbai I could not send the documents.I sent the documents as soon as I came back .i.e.on 10 November 2009.I received a message from Univercell stating "We have received your mobile insurance claim documents today.It is under process and we will get back to you shortly.for clarification, call [protected]."As the sales person in Univercell had told me that it takes 45 days for the verification procedure i called the given number after 55 days after I received the message only to hear it takes a week more.when i called the same number a week later a lady who answered the phone rudely said that mine is not the only document they have to verify.I havent received any communication from the insurance agency or Univercell.Hence I have yalked to my lawyer and planning to file a case against Univercell as they are the one who are misleading and cheating us

I request you to send me format for " Declaration from the SIM owner" so that i can submit that at the earliest.

This ALEgION is a cheater Insurance company.Vever Trust Univercell and Alegion.I have faced the same situation.

Even I have sent all my documents to ALEgION Insurance Broking Limited, I called these guys they picked up and informed that a SMS would be sent once they process the request.
But I have not received any SMS not any call .Now they are not even picking up the call .
Iam worried wether I would get the insured credit, if such things happen we will lost our faith in insurance companies

Hey I called the alegion guys just now..and I got a GOOOD Response from them a person called Mr Dhanpal picked up the call and he updated me that my claim has been sent to the insurance company and if there is any problem the insurance company would intimate me via courier.I am happy service of ALEGION they have picked up my call both the times I called.
Now getting the sum insured depends on the insurance company and if all the docs are fine dont see any issues

i was sent Mobile Insurance claim to chennai insurance company, me received SMS from you dated 19.03.2010 at 12.30 pm, in SMS they clearlly mentioned my mobile insurance has been settled, credit note has been despatched today to the address mentioned in the claim from, so till dated me yet to get any dispatech letter from you, so please let me know Dispatch docket No. with Courier Addres and Phone and contact person as soon as possibel earlist

Mobile theft insurance

I had purchased a Cell phone in Nov 2009 from Universal. When I purchased, they told me about the mobile damage/theft insurance, I paid additional 105+ as the premium of the new phone.

While catching the bus I lost my phone in bus stand. I tried to trace it but could not find it. I filed a compliant with Police and latter went to Univercel for claiming the Insurance.
I filled in a Form and attach all the docs like purchase receipt, police compliant copy, Non traceable copy etc. In ORIGINAL and send it to ALEgION Insurance Broking Ltd in Chennai. So, I had sent all documents through DTDC courier.

Hello,

Someone take action against the insurance company. It is almost 6 months over, no one respond me from the Insurance compay.

My sincere advice to Mobile phone buyers, Do not spend money for Mobile theft insurance at any cause. You can spend that money to Orphanage so that you will get satisfacion atleast.
