I came to this page to mention the ill fated services by Easy cabs but this page is already full of similar complaints. Day before yesterday i booked a cab ( booking ID :A[protected] but at last min when i didn't receive any driver detail i called them to inquire and came to know that they have cancelled the booking and i missed my urgent work because of that. I have their confirmation and cancellation message, and i am planing to move to consumer court regarding same. i am in process of getting legal advice and make sure they get what they deserve. NEVER EVER BOOK EASY CAB.

    I just took a cab from airport to Gurgaon can number DL-1RX-7299. The cab guy did not pay the toll at Gurgaon and rushed the car through. On reaching my destination gave the receipt which showed 40/- as toll and when I asked it's 21/- and that too u didn't pay he said he had paid. I asked for the receipt which he didn't have and kept stating he has paid. Through out the journey I had asked him to switch on the ac and keep the temperature towards warm as without ac it's suffocating. Even before we the hit the toll he had switched off the ac. How do you have such cab drivers who would make the customer suffer take shortcuts to save few rupees and demand that from customer. Absolutely pathetic

      I had booked for Easy Cab facility in Delhi on 7/12/23 from Sundar Nagar at 10.45 pm pickup & drop at New Delhi Rly stn & I got the confirmation vis sms ( Booking ID - A[protected] along with the car details (car no 6897 & chauffeur no -[protected]) . I waited till 11.00 pm but I din't got any call from the driver or any sms from Easy Cabs that my booking got cancelled . Only when I call the driver mobile no, he told me that he had informed Easy cab that he is not able to attend this call & some body else will come for pick up for which I was having no information . Just you imagine at 11.00 pm night I have to make my own arrangements to reach Firstly I think 30 mins is too less a time if they cancel the cab and the the station as my Train was at 11.55 pm . Till date no information or sms from Easy Cab regarding cancellation . This is very poor & pathetic service from such an well known organisation . Even when I call the Easy Cab no for complaint no body picked up the phone . I need an urgent answer fro you as I have missed the train or else I will go to the consumer forum & media .

        I called at 12:10am on 2nd December 2013 to book a cab at 5 : 15 am for the railway station, New Delhi for a 6 : 15 train. I got my confirmation of booking via a SMS. However I did not get my driver's phone number. At 5 :00 am I called to ask their driver's number and at 5 :10 they send me a SMS saying that there are no cars available. First of all, I had to REMIND them to send me a message for their driver's number. Then they told me one wasn't available, even though I had booked it 6 hours ago. If no car was available, they should have simply said so I could have made other arrangements. Basically, at 5 : 40, I'm 50 minutes away from the station with no transportation. I have officially lodged a complain with them but I want people to know that this is the most unreliable "taxi" service amongst all available and if they only have easy cabs as an option, I'd suggest it's better to walk. Thoroughly disgusted by the callous treatment of their patrons. Will never use again nor will recommend.

          i regret to inform that i the behaviour of your driver was very rude. We had booked a cab with easy cabs on 26th Nov
          Booking no: B[protected] chauffer no:[protected]...We had requested the driver to lift our luggage and keep it in the car.Instead the driver started arguing with us and was rude with us. i had a good reputation of easy cabs until now unfortunately we were unhappy with the behaviour and cancelled the cab immediately...Unpleasant experience.

            Dear Sir,
            On 25th Nov I had taken Easy cab No. 6590 From Terminal 1 at 1815 Hrs for my destination, after going for a kilometre asked driver to switch on Ac, he replied that company has removed fuse for Ac as the climate has changed, I further asked him who is paying for cab your company or the client who is using the cab, he replied that he is a merely driver and has no reply for this. I am asking that I am a fool paying Rs 23 a kilometre for non Ac cab, I would have taken normal cab in that case.
            This is clear cut cheating with the client and require explanation from the Easy Cab

              This is in reference to an incident that happended today itself in the afternoon. I had booked an easy cab from my office to a relative's place on to&fro basis from sohna road. The cab number 7251 and Chauffer number is +91 [protected] (EASY CAB). This cab reported half an hour late than the scheduled time first of all and then once i was in the cab the driver started mumbling to himself and said things like "I dont know why our company takes such close pick up and drop services. They have no sense at all etc etc." I kept quiet all the way knowing that i should not retaliate due to my own safety issue. After this once we reached the destination the driver demanded cash payment upon which i told him that i had booked the cab on to&fro basis hence if he can wait for 5 min and then we can go back to my office. But he still insisted on the payment hence i handed over a note of Rs. 500/- and asked for change since the bill was only Rs. 150/-. He immediately said i should leave the balance and take it back in the end of the trip. Being a smart woman I did not leave my money with him and told him to probably take the total amount at the end of the trip itself. This is where he got agitated and told me "I can't take all this nonsense for Rs. 100 or so. I am leaving right now. You make your own arrangement for a drop from elsewhere. I dont have time for this "chilam-chilli"." I immediately got down from the cab and handed over him Rs. 200/- in exchange of the bill but he just drove off with the entire amount.

              Somehow i managed to take an auto rickshaw after searching on the roads for 15 min and returned to the office. Upon my return the first thing i wanted to do is complain about the driver but got to know they have now removed the complaint menu from their website. Those who wish to travel by this service beware. I am not going to use this service in future.

                I booked an Easy Cab on 28.10.2013 for a ride from Mehrauli to New Delhi Railway Station for 29.10.2013 for two passengers (my wife and myself) that was confirmed vide booking ID No: A[protected] for which I received the confirmation SMS from Easy Cabs. We had to catch the Mumbai Rajdhani Express on 29.10.2013, the ticket of which was booked two months in advance as per the railway booking procedure. I re-confirmed on phone a couple of times on 29.10.2013 and each time I was assured that the cab would be reaching in time. I also received an SMS from Easy Cabs regarding the cab number with the cell phone number of the cab driver. When the cab did not arrive and I called back the driver, he told me that his cab has been cancelled and a new cab would be reaching to pick me up, while I did not receive any phone call from Easy Cabs prior to I called the cab driver. However, when the cab did not arrive at the scheduled time I asked Easy Cab the position and I was informed that the cab that was due to arrive has been cancelled and a new cab would reach me soon within next 10-15 minutes. To my utmost surprise I received more than 15 SMS messages conveying the number of the new cab. I also received the Phone from this new cab driver but he expressed his inability that since he is in the traffic he may be delayed and I was sure he is telling the truth as he has been rounded up by Easy Cabs at the last moment. I was losing my patience as the train departure time was getting shortened by each minute. Finally the cab arrived and the cab driver did try his level best but could not reach the New Delhi railway station in time and finally we missed our train. On the way I was in regular touch with Easy Cabs representarives and when I told them that there is no hope that I can catch the train now, they expressed their inability and just said sorry. I wanted to find out how Easy Cab is going to compensate me the monetary loss plus the mental trauma myself and my wife were suffering (both o[censored]s are senior citizens) but the only reply I received was that Easy Cab will just provide me a ride next time to the extent of Rs.500/= only as gratis as if that would be covering the total loss of around Rs.10, 000/= by way of the lost ticket and buying another ticket to Mumbai for two passengers under TATKAL scheme paying additional charges to the booking company plus additional cab charges of around Rs.1000/= while taking the cab to the travel agency firm for booking the TATKAL ticket and back to New Delhi railway station. I have the details of all the expenses I incurred and the money I have lost in this entire episode. Under the circumstances, I would like that Easy Cabs on their own initiative compensates me the actual monetary loss, but if Easy Cabs do not tie it seriously I won't have any option but to seek the help of Consumer Redressal Forum and then definitely I am going to claim for the mental and physical harassment plus the legal charges I may incur during the process.                   I booked a cab for 5 15 pm for 1st November from Malviya Nagar to New Delhi Railway Station, Booking ID is A[protected]. I was informed of the cancellation of booking at 5 05 pm just 10 mins before of the travel time. I had to rush to find an alternative option to travel to Railway Station which took me half an hour and that too not a comfortable journey. I would have missed my train and could catch in last ten minutes of its scheduled departure. It caused me and inconvenience and mental harassment. I want a reason for informing me so late. I don't see any problem if it would have been communicated 2 hours before travel time. Hope a justifiable action will be taken

                    Today i booked a cab of booking ID B[protected].& car no 6714. how can a chauffeur refuse me to take a request it already on come on site and behaving very bad. . please take an action against that chauffeur . i was using your cab for last one year regularly but today experience totally change my thinking about easy cab services. the day after today i will not suggest anybody to choose easy cab services if my problem is not solve out. i have a photograph of that car along with number plate.

                      On 18th Oct 2013, I had tried to book an Easy Cab in Mumbai . I had called them 45 minutes before I needed a pick up. The pick up was at Lower Parel at 11 45 pm. When I placed my call, I was informed that there is a taxi available and the taxi will reach me at the desired time. Following this, I got a text message with a booking ID at 10 59pm. At 11 37pm (ie 7 minutes before my pick up time), I got the following message: Dear Customer, due to non-availability of the cabs in your area we cannot process your booking. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Hence, I called them thinking there was a mistake somewhere! How can a company go back on their word at the last minute? On calling them, they told me "we cannot confirm your cab when u book". Can Easy Cabs please explain the meaning of the phrase "booking a cab"?? I was stranded at Lower Parel for an additional half an hour. I have absolutely no idea what kind of taxi service this is. I strongly believe that their licenses should be revoked as they are only here to dupe customers and leave them stranded. When I called them back, I also realised that they have absolutely no customer redressing system! Their staff is incapable of handling customers, their systems are horrible (or actually I should say there are no systems at all!!) and they are absolutely non committed to their work! I will not be booking an Easy Cab ever again! Neither will I be recommending them to anyone! The worst taxi service ever, some legal action needs to be taken against such a company!

                        My cab booking was confirmed. NO. A09700436 dated 27.09.2013. I did not get the car as promised. I have already sent the complaint to your customer care & marketing on this subject giving all the details of my communication with ypour booking staff. All these years I was using EASYCAB as my preferred car rentals. Even all my family member use Easycab. But now we will have to shift our fpreference to some other unit as EASYCAB now is not at all trustworthy. You are not committed to your service NOR you give any importance to the complaint from the customer. Mere talk on phone/moble is not going to improve or repair the damages caused by yur irres[ponsible actions. I am totally dis-satisfied with your service. In your booking confirmation no. SMS you say that if you fail to provide the service you will give next ride of Rs.500/= free of cost. Do you really mean the same or is it a fooling marketing tactic. PLEASE NOTE I AM A SENIOR CITTIZEN FO MORE THAN 65 YEARS OF AGE. You must also realized under what citrcumstances I must have undergone when I was told that the car can not come to pick me up on time ? That to when I was tracvelling with my wife, who is also a Senior citizen. It is really painful; to right to you as my complaint was not at all attended nor you are committed to your promeses given thru SMS. What I received was my complaint no. 65333 dated 01/10/2013. a reward for the trust (?) for your so called prompt services. Therefore, WE all from my family hereby declare that no one will use EASYCAB hereafter & circulate this letter's copy yo all our contacts.                           I had booked a easy cab on 06/09/2013 for 07/09/2013 from Lab quarter to Hyderabad Deccan station at 8.30PM keeping sufficient time to reach the railway station. I got an sms from easy at 11.12 pm giving me the booking ID & acknowledgement for cab. I called the easy cab office on 07/09/13 at 7.30 PM for availability of cab. They confirmed that the cab will be available on given time (8.30PM). 8.45PM they called me and told the cab is not available in your area due to telngana agitation. The reality is that there is no any agitation on telngana in that day in any part of hyderabad. I booked a auto immediately and reached the station. if i will not reach the station on time i will loss my Rs. 7500 train tickets & i will miss my family functions which was very important. booking ref no : A[protected] Regards Yogesh Soni [protected]

                            Easy cabs is the worst cab service ever. I have used Meru on on many occasions and they inform you right away if the cabs are not available. But easy cabs makes the booking and doesnt even inform you of the cancellation. When you call up to ask why is the cab delayed, they tell you that the cab has been cancelled due to unavailability. I made my booking at 12 o' clock for a 5:30PM pick up. If the cab wasnt available, I should have been informed minimum 2 hours before. But look at the audacity of the easy cab personnel, they hang up on your face saying its been cancelled. No professionalism and morals! Shame on this cab service. The worst I have seen in my life. Easy cabs doesnt deserve the stature of an elite cab service, the local cabs are more committed and truthful. Please refrain from using #EASY CABS

                            I agree with you. It's the worst service ever. For the first time, I tried using easy cabs because I was unable to get a booking done with Meru and even after booking almost 24 hours in advance, I still faced the same thing that you have mentioned so correctly.

                            I'm never going to even think about booking easy cabs (such a contradictory name of the company for the services they offer). I so agree with you for the point that they should inform consumers 2 hours in advance, so people can make some other arrangements.

                            Absolutely useless and horrible customer services. Please never trust their services.

                              Dear Sir/Madam Refer to the booking ID A[protected], car no-06942 and your cad Driver charged twice for booking (381.80INR from my HDFC Credit Card and 431.80 -cash) from Tata Cimmunications Guest House , GK-1 to Airport Delhi on dated 15th Sep_13 6.00AM booking. I complained on the number[protected] but in vain. I think this is not good for organisation like Can you please confirm that how you are going to refund my amount on priority.                                 I had booked a cab through the EasyCabs(Hyderabad) website on the morning of 4th September 2013 to travel from my house to the Railway station.I had booked the cab for 6:00 pm the same day. I had a booking confirmation sms from easy cab with the following details: The booking ID was :A[protected] At 5:45 pm, I got an SMS stating that "Due to non-availability of cabs in your area, We cannot process your booking.......". I rushed out to get an alternative mode but had no luck. and finally had to take my car and park in the overnight stand in the station. A couple of points I am aggrieved with are: 1. A booking confirmation shows a commitment by the company to provide the service. Not having a cab in our area is an excuse . This being a Radio Cab, can route the cabs from any area to the destination in no time. 2. The timing of sending the non-availability SMS is pathetic as it leaves with very little option for alternatives. 3. There is no response when you call back the call center . 4. The website claims that a confirmed booking would always get a cab - this is absolutely a false promise. In lieu of this I would like a strict penalty on Easycabs and not resort to advance bookings if they cannot keep up with the commitments.

                                  Today I had booked the cab for 9:30 pm, till the last minute they didn't confirm the availability and at 9:25 they drop a message stating cabs are not available sorry for inconvenience. If you'all go ahead with this service model,I'm sure you'll be loosing lot of customers. Please take action or you'll gonna shut your offices one day heading nowhere. I would never again book an easy cab again. Please provide as much information as possible...
                                  I agree on this. Has happened with me as well in Delhi though and since then have never gone back to them. Pathetic Service.

                                    The easycabs service at delhi t1 airport is pathetic.the driver of taxi no.6696 was unruly. There is no queue and the driver simply refused to take me because I stay close by in vasant kunj.
                                    There is no complaint cell at easycabs and I was harassed badly. I hope the airport authorities take note of this and resolve the issues

                                    Easycabs — Bad Service

                                    Dear All,

                                    Please note that I had booked a cab for my company's Director on 23rd June, 2011 at 3.30 pm scheduled to pick her up at 4.30 am on the 24th June, 2011 from Charkop - Link Road Kandivali (W) and drop her till Domestic Airport, the booking was done through internet and I received a confirmation code of the booking being confirmed.

                                    Early morning at 3.30 am I received another message from the EasyCabs service messaging center stating "Dear Customer, due to a technical error, we are unable to service booking no. A[protected]. Please ignore the Car details sent. We deeply regret the inconvenience".

                                    They never provided any details in reference to the car as they claimed in their message and apart from that they left the person all alone stranded early morning around 3.30 am with no clues what she should be doing.

                                    I believe that this was an inhuman act done by EasyCabs and in case they could not deliver they should have not committed in the first instance and in case they were not able to provide the claimed service after committing they should have provided an alternate service for the same or for that matter even informed at least 6 hours in advance.

                                    Note: Friends next time you book a cab through EasyCabs then kindly keep a backup plan and remain awake the entire night for any regret messages sent by them.

                                      Easy cabs intelligent cab driver charged my Credit card Rs.4458 instead of Rs.458. I called up the customer care several times to please look into my refund and process it quickly. They registered a compaint ID: 61808. Every time I called them up, the same lady picked up my call who talked in a very very disrespectful tone. She is the only person handling such customer complaints and was very unsupportive. After a lot of effort Easy cabs sent my check through DTDC but unfortunately I was not available in office that day. DTDC courier was returned and I was asked to call up Easy Cabs again to get the check. Its been 3 months now and I have called them multiple times to please send the courier again to my address. They have been absolutely deaf on my complaint. My Rs. 4000 are still with a fraud company like easy cab and there is no one paying any concerns to a customer which has been chasing them from last 4.5 months for his own money.

                                      Please help me get my refund back with appropriate interest.

                                        I made a booking on 16th June 2013 for 17th June 2013, 08:20 AM from the easy cab website for Delhi to Gurgaon. Immediately I received a conformation message for the same (Booking ID A[protected]. Next day morning around half an hour before my booking time I recd. the conformation message again along-with the driver details. At 8:15 when I was waiting for a call from the driver, I recd. a message stating that my booking has been cancelled due to non- availability of cabs. I was completely clueless how could this be done. First my booking was conformed and at the moment when I had to leave it was cancelled. It was raining very heavily that day and I had a very important meeting in Gurgaon.

                                        Having no other option I called up easy cabs and asked them to provide me with an alternative cab to which they responded with an apology for not being able to provide me with a cab, they simply declined my request.

                                        Somehow I got a easy cab driver who agreed to take me to Gurgaon but it was already 9:00 AM. But by the time I reached there I missed my meeting.
                                        I had to face so much mental agony because of this.

                                        This is such a horrid situation. It is just not acceptable.
                                        I want them to compensate me for the hard time I had to face because of there unethical conduct.

                                        (un) Easy Cab service — Cancellation of booking

                                        I booked a Easy Cab taxi in evening at 10:30pm on 26/10/2009 and Ref No. B000352 for going to Bangalore City Railway Station in next day morning at 5:45am. In morning at around 4:45am I got a sms saying that booking has been cancelled due to unavailability of cabs in this area.
                                        Then my Q is Why they conformed me in the evening? My whole reason for making reservation was to get confirmation or else i could make alternate arrangements. When I contacted back, the response was same thing.. where as I could see many easycabs standing infornt of my building. I think they do not get enough money from Marathahalli to railway station as compared to airport. Hence they are playing this game! They just cut sorry figure all the time! How can we go to railways station so early morning with taking small kid! Because of this there was so much panic and we almost missed the train . What is the level of reliability these operators have? Who will be responsible for consequences? What is the control govt has put on these kind of services? This is so irresponsible.

                                        Easy Cabs — cancellation of booking

                                        Hi,
                                        myself Inderjeet Singh Kunner, booked a cab on 6th oct, 10:30am for 11:30am. I was told that i will get a confirmatuin within 15 min. I waited till 11:00 am, called back them & asked for confirmation but this new exec told me to wait, within 15 min i will get confirmation. At 11:30 i called back again to know the status, and was surprised to know that the booking was cancelled.
                                        The question here is : 1) if they did not have a car to service me, then they should have cancelled the booking in the first 15 minutes, giving me a chance to book a cab elsewhere. 2) they take a time of 15 min each time, but do not revert back, so it again becomes a call for us to make and remind them. 3) after waiting for 1 hour, that is from 10:30 to 11:30, my time of departure, i am being told that the booking cancelled, so what am i to do with my scheduled programme? Is the company pay me for any damages caused to me due to my non-fulfilment of obligation because of the easy cabs incompetence.
                                        Upon it when i ask the exec. For the physical address of the agency she was unwilling to do so.
                                        I want this kind of incompetent & non-proffessional radio taxis to be taken off the road or else be punished to derer them doing this kind of non-service next time.
