[Resolved]  Godrej — Not getting support from Godrej customer support Hyderabad

I purchased a Godrej Pentacool refrigrator in bangalore. Now i am moved to hyderabad. I found that my refrigrator doesn't cool after power goes off. I called the customer support and engineer came home. Without even checking properly he says that defrost is not working, we need to purchase a new one. I told him that my fridge defrost works properly. However he insist on purchasing AMC from him and says we need to put new defrost panel. When we checked the new we found that panel is not original Godrej panel.
We want godrej to step in and help us fix the refrigrator

Godrej — LEAKAGE OF WATER IN NEW AC

I have a new split A.C of Godrej 12FE3,i purchased before 1 week, ie., 20/03/2011,the problem raised on 23/03/11,i registered the complaint on 24/03/2011,they sent the technician by 31/03/2011...
Is it a Good Customer Service???
How can i prefer their product to my neighbours..
I purchased it from the TAMBARAM VASANTH & CO.But from the third day there is water leakage in the indoor unit. spraying water continuosly.I called to customer care and my complaint no.were 444883.there is no proper response from them they are like DEFF.i called them for more than 20 times.after one week they sent the technician.he just opened the indoor unit fully he just played like a toy and said there is no fault in the machine.but i dont know where the leakage is coming from.technicians could not detect the problem.i spoke with Mr.Vijay Chennai Incharge for godrej.he is saying that he will be coming to see the problem.if he cannot detect they will send some person...like this it will go on...what shall i do now...

Godrej — Machine is faulty

I have purchased a washing machine on 21/02/2011. I had a problem regarding leakage from the bottom of the machine. The service engineers had visited 4 times but they couldnt solve the problem. Now the service engineers claim they cannot repair the machine. It's under warranty. When I contacted their seniors they abused me with bad words. They have also damaged the machine. I use the machine daily and without it i have problem. Kindly help me out.
I think you should speak to senior executive of that company to replace your machine. I also facing the same problem then one of my friend suggest me to register your complain in consumer helpline.

Hello everyone...
I am also the victim of Godrej AC. I had purchased AC from Reliance Digital, Nagpur and since tht time there is no cooling effect. After contacting store, they gave servicing center number. Very next day there technician has come to check the problem and told there is internal leakage problem and indoor unit needs to be change. N he said he will inform his senior and we will receive a call from there senior. But for 1 week thr was no call and no contact. Atlast I had again called at servicing center and Mr.Sharma from tht said unit will be replaced in 3-4 days. But still after 7 days thr was no response and finally we called again and again same answers. I am sorry to say but People working there are pathetic and so is there service. I spoke to Mr.Abhisekh, Mr.Ravishankar, Mr.Sunil, Mr. Sharma and n no. of persons over there.
Mr. Goyal, store head, had promised to replace the unit in 4 days, even after giving reminder history repeated again. On the 5th days unit was recieved in afternoon n technician has come late afternoon and tht too without complete instruments. And again he went by asking us to give a reminder call to him...
I request all of you, if you are planning to buy AC plz dnt go for GODREJ.

Godrej — air conditioner not working since it is installed

To whom so ever it is concerned,

myself Abbas Murudwala, i have purchased an ac. my application number is [protected].the technician who installed, did not do it properly as the water inlet was inside the room than i lodge the complaint and technician came after 15 days.so ac was not working during that time.the very next day of the repair the ac was not working again, since than we were not in town so we could not call for technician.

now again its almost 15 days i have made a complaint still a technician has not come. My call number is 614016, CNS is 440.

i am fedup of calling the dealer.and i feel the product given by company is damaged.
so please do the needful

i am ismail one your customer currently woking in dubai, one of my refregerator back in india got some technical problem, my wife has reported the problem to one of your authorized service center in my near by area, they came to my home and took the refregerator to their service point then brought back to my home after 1 week, they told my wife it was repaired and to start the fridge after 1 hour then the technician left, they have charged the amount of RS 4300,

my wife restarted the firge after 1 hour they left the compount, and she found it is still not working and it is in same condition where they taken, she is very disepointed

very next day my wife called the same tecgnician and informed about the incedent, the technician come again today and telling they want to take the fridge the service poing again for repairing and they are asking about RS 3000 for further repairing, this totally unfair and not expectable from one the leading company in india, we have already lost plenty of money and time, it is not acceptable at all

i want my refregerator to be repaired without any further cost, becouse i have alredy paid plenty of amount for reparing the same,

kindly look in to this do the need ful, trust this kind of attitude from your autorized service center will effect your buissness and image in the market i am expecting a promt and positive reply from your end,

Godrej — Refrigerator Problem

Dear Sir/Madam

I have purchased a refrigirator Model No. GDE19 DX4 - Silver woods of M/s. GODREJ MAKE from dealer M/s. P. Obul Reddy & Sons, West Tambaram, Chennai -600045 on 09th April 2011 vide Bill No. IN0019 dated 09th April 2011.

The problem we have noticed that, after defrosting the refrigirator, the defrosted water is coming out of the Refrigirator main doors and spread out on to the floor.

We have lodged a 1st complaint to the company and the techinician vistited and checked the refrigirator and informed that the problem has been rectified. After the technician left our house, the power went off and again the water started comes out of refrigirator main doors.

We have again lodged a complaint on 18th May 2011 for the same problem.

Here I wish to know, whether this porblem can be rectified or not permenantly. If not, we require a replacement with another model for our usage and any price variations can be paid by us and this model has to replaced.

Awaiting response from M/s. GODREJ.

Godrej — poor service of ac

I should first thank Godrej for the world worst service given by godrej smart care.
It seems that this the simplest way to fool a customer and generate the revenue in name of amc.

I had purchased a 1.2 ton window ac (serial no.[protected] and took amc for one year on 13.05.10 assuring of best services by godrej but after much calls and request for continuous 2 months i was informed that due to manpower shortage and work pressure we are unable to provide u service and after that a person comes and says he does not have much time so will clean only the filter part and go and that would be enough for the dry service we had paid for. he just took the filter cleaned it with a cloth refixxed it and was gone within 5 mins. this type of dry service was provided for the 3 dry service and before one month of the end of the amc one of your executive came and asked for the cheque for Rs. 2000/- plus tax for one year of new amc. according to the executive the 4th wet service would be provided once the old amc is about to be lapsed i.e. on 12.05.11, we explain abt the quality of the service but the executive ignored the same and said we can't help you in this matter you have to complain to the customer care number, I have just come to collect the cheque of the new amc. we denied for the cheque and as a result the executive was very angry and again and again she was asking for the cheque ignoring the quality of service we had received and the compalints we are making to her we again simply denied and asked her to leave. The next day we received another call from another executive saying they would give us two yrs amc in 2000/- plus tax and he assured good service, so we gave the cheque for two yrs amc, still our one wet service was due.

after giving the cheque we had given many calls to the customer care number and everytime we are assured of the same thing a so called good service, but till date no one has turnedup. Once your customer care executive said that due to manpower shortage we are unable to provide you good service. please contact the service person directly and see if he can help u out. We didnot contact the service person.

At the time of taking cheque the executive assures us good service and also explains us what the service person would do while giving the dry service and while giving the wet service,

but the service person doesnot gives any of the services.

Last year also after the summer season was over the service person came for servicing and this year also we have done lots of complaints but i think that the person would come only after the summer season is over so what is the use of ac when we cannot use the ac in the summer season.

If this is the service of the godrej then i feel I have done a mistake by purchasing godrej appliances and should complain to the consumer forum abt the type of service the company is providing. and would also request godrej to take back their AC so that we can purchase a new brand with a good service

I had sent email to this ID ([protected]@godrej.com) few days back(31 March 2011) but did not get any response till date.

2) The toll free No.[protected] does not work from Maharshtra, Solapur, anytime you call it will give you message "All the lines in this route are busy" couple of months back it was working, but it gives just the above message now a days. I tried atleast 30-35 times a day.

3) Neither my problem for Godrej AC been solved. I had purchased Godrej AC a year back(its still under warranty). but got a part problem.

I registered complaint in your Toll Free system, No. 910529 dt, 03 March 2011. I wanted to know when can we expect the faulty part be replaced ? its very uncomfortable these days, so please arrange for the part replacement asap.

Godrej's products & its employees only torture customers.I won't buy any of its products throughout my life.I bought a refrigerator in 2008 because at that time i trusted your brand. But after using it I have realised that Godrej is the worst company and it's products are worthless.

I know this mail will make no difference to you, but i thought I should inform you how you make ur customers suffer.

Inspite of several calls to the customer care and also to the concerned branch I have not received any response from your end as of now.

Customer care people are so irresponsible that they forward the complaints to wrong locations. They are not aware when their technicians are available or when can a customer expect them to come. When the customer himself calls the authorized service centre they say they did not get any complaint and will give us call centre number to book the complaint again.

Please buy any branded product as the service technicians are very punctual and will be at your doorstep before you are back from work. (Godrej is no more branded)

People who are reading this please shift to any other brands as they have best service at least a good service but not worst service like GODREJ.

Godrej — poor service regarding change of the broken glass of the refrigerator eon

We trust this company bought many items there wasn't any complaints but now it is playing with the feelings of his customers.we made our complaint twice, the officer came and checked the fault but took no actions even after getting full payment.Please don't loose your customers.

Godrej — WASHING MACHINE REPLACEMENT

I Ram Niwas Kaushik has purchased a washing machine on 24 June 2010,from HARYANA TV CENTRE,shop no.38 main road sultanpuri Delhi-110041,ph.no.-[protected]. The machine was not working properly so we have complaint Godrej Customer Care on dated 3rd January,2011,complaint no. 498599,but don't reply any result,so next complaint no. 164480 on dated 12 may,2011,again no solution,next complaint no. 174392 on 24 may 2011,and next complaint no. 185762 on 8 June 2011. We have registered many complaint but every time their technician came but at last they said that this is manufacturing fault so this piece must be replaced but now they are refusing to change the piece.We have call them more than 50 times. PLEASE HELP ME.........
