Godrej — faulty service and cheating
I bought a godrej refreiferatore in the year 1999. It was perfectly working till 3 months back, when I found there was no cooling . Then I asked a godrej service engineer to repair it. He suggested that gas needs to be filled and aksed me to pay Rs. 1600/- as charge. But the fridge remained the same and could not be used. Inspite of repeated requests he did not come and now he has left Shillong I heard. I do not know what to do. Please guide Dear customer smart care,
This narration would bring you an idea on how godrej refrgirators work. And the worst they work on people .Last ten I have purchased three godrej refrigerators .
1)First bought in 1997, worked for 6 years and had a complaint, service people came replaced the compresser and taken the old compresser back and we paid the compresser cost i.e 4500/-..And my question is why would the mechanic take the spoiled compressor.i knew old compresser would be atleast 500/- if sold for scrap.
2) Bought in 2007, the same complaint, compressor was in repair, replaced by the tech which was in warrenty .its fine but charges upto 2000/-
3) Bought in 2009 the same complaint, compresser replaced which was in warrenty.fine but charged 1700/-
But why it happens for 2 years, is it u define these compresser to spoil in 2 years r what. Really I felt every time not to purchse a godrej product but my fate made me to do it.
Totally I lost 8200/- due to godrej purchase.i feel burning like but could not do anything expect this. What I would do stop my friends, collegues from purchasing godrej products.
This was my worst experience I had ever faced, as we lack electronic knowledge.

This narration would bring you an idea on how godrej refrgirators work. And the worst they work on people .Last ten I have purchased three godrej refrigerators .

Godrej — not responding to our complaints
i have purchased godrej washing machine (semi auto) on[protected]. our complaint number is 188994 of dated 13 june'2011.one person visited our place and we paid Rs. 700/- for broken tub. but there is no response from you. i am very much fed up with godrej company. please take some action as soon as possible.thank you

Despite my severe concerted hunting of search of 10 chairs for my office , your Darbhanga dealer along with consultation with Patna dealer could not arrange 10 chairs of any one DIVA, ULTIMA PCH series of chairs.They are saying that 15 days to 1 month can be taken after giving the order.
Now when we are in urgent requirement, could you like to intervene in the matter and advise to arrange the same on urgent basis, so that we may not move to some other company which we do not want.

I bought a fully automatic washing machine.After sometime the spin portion stopped working.I lodged the complaints with its central customer support services almost 45 days ago.The complaint no. is 768318. Till date no one has come to see or repair the defect.Furthermore, the customer care centre has sent me a sms regarding service providing and thanking me for approaching them... This is how the company cheat its customers. I would like to warn other innocent customers NOT to befooled with company with such credibility...
Godrej — didn't take action
Dear sir,it is a matter of regret that i have registered a complaint on[protected] no. 225135 for the washing machine. But till date no action has been taken. I have also contacted several times over phone but reply was same that as and when the part will be availble the same will be repaired.
If godrej can not provide the parts of the machine in 13 days then what is use to purchase the branded items. We can go for local items. So you are requested to look into the matter the do the needful at the earliest.

I have godrej washing machine (GWS6502PPC) in warranty period. That is not working and I have already complain in company's costumer care (complain no - 705280) on 26 August 2011 but they are not responding me.Godrej — Replacement delayed
Sir,I had purchased a 410 ltr big godrej refrigerator on 08/08/2005 from a bhubaneswar dealer. Within 3/4 days, it started sweating(water drops on the outer side of body). Then it could not be repaired by by service team, though tried again and again for 3/4 months. Then they told that this model is defective, so a new freeze will be replaced and accordingly, they sent a new machine on march 2006, in a trolley without any office executive. When the trolley man opened, we found that the freeze is of lower model. So, I asked him, whether any price adjustment will be there or not, but he could not say anything and took back the new machine i.e. i did not replace with the lower capacity machine as there was not price adjustment. Later, i had to face problem regularly with the freeze and in between the service persons has come, repaired and i ve paid for their bill. Nearly 15 days back, this freeze has stopped working. From the starting continuous water was accumulating both inside and outside. I have the following papers.
1. Booklet, which shows the date of purchase.
2. All the papers, which the service persons has given. Once they had taken to their center, two or three times, they have serviced in my place. Once, i ve paid to repair the faulty part i.e. around Rs.1800/-.
3. The zerox copy of the paper, which shows that a new machine had come from Mumbai in the name of my wife "Jayashree Panigrahi". This is a clear proof that they had decided to replace this freeze. But till date they have not physically given.
In such a situation, I have tried my level best to visit their office, talk over phone on several numbers including toll free number, but no one is giving me solution regarding the replacement. Now as the freeze is not working, I do not know what to do. So I need to know, how to get my rights legally or by negotiation.

I Purchased a Semi-Automatic Washing Machine from Vidhya Electronics, WZ-2, Govardhan Park, Uttam Nagar, Delhi- 110059 on 30th October 2011.
When the very First time (i.e. around 8th November 2011) I used the machine, the problem occurred. The spin tub was not working properly, and then I lodged a complaint on same day under Complaint No. 294307. Then on 10.11.2011 Mr. Pravesh ([protected]) came and checked the machine and tightened some screw and said “its ok sir, now its working fine”. Thereafter, when I again started using the machine, the same problem occurred. I again called him (Mr. Pravesh), he said “don’t worry sir I’ll come tomorrow”. The next day, I took off from the office for the same. Despite wasting my leave for that day and waiting for the whole day, he didn’t come neither he informed that he would not be able to come. On the next day ( i.e., on 12.11.2011), he called to say that he wants to come, since on that day, I was leaving for office, I had to say ‘no’ to him. I had also recorded my dissatisfaction in a call from Godrej Customer Care for feedback of the service as my machine was still not working.
On Sunday i.e 20.11.2011 another person Mr. Vikram ([protected]) came and said “sir iska motor kharab hai” then he asked me about my availability to change that motor, I said I’ll take off from office for the same on Tuesday i.e 22.11.2011. On 22.11.2011, I took an off from the office and kept calling him after every 2-3 hours since morning and every time his response was that he would be coming in 1-2 hours. However, he did not turn up that day. Thus, again my leave was wasted. I did not have leaves balance in my account, However I took that off only for getting the Washing Machine fixed. I loose Rs.2000 for each leave. Next day, I again lodged a complaint to customer care and they said ‘sir this time we are sending senior technician’ and now today i.e 24.11.2011 morning again that guy Vikram came and replaced the motor. While he was fixing the motor, I noticed that the said motor was a used and old motor and not a new one as had been promised. When I complained of the same to the technician, he accepted it and replied “Godrej se hume yahi motor mili hai”. When I objected to the same, he gave me his Service Centre Manager’s Number. When I spoke to his Service Centre Manager Mr. Pradeep ([protected]) he also accepted the same and reiterated that “Godrej se hume yahi motor mili hai, karwa lo nahi to aapka machine kharab hi pada rahega”. As I had no other option, I had to get the same old motor installed.
I bought Godrej Washing Machine trusting that it would be a long term investment for me but on the very first day of its use, it had broken down. The machine has now been checked by the company technicians several times for repair within a month as described above. The charm of a new machine is now lost. It is even worse than a good old machine. Now, I feel that I have been fooled/duped by the Company.
The attitude of the Technicians employed by Godrej has also baffled me.
Since this machine has not been working since its very first use, I apprehend that in future again I may suffer the same agony and harassment as above. In order to avoid the financial and mental sufferings, I want reimbursement of the money (Cost of Washing Machine + Loss of Pay of Rs.2000) or provide a brand new washing machine.

i am Abhishek from PUne, I had purchased single Door 183 Ltr. Freeze on[protected], the freeze's compressor is under warranty for 5 years. last week when i lodged a complain in customer care of Goodrej, the engineer came and advised that there is problem in compressor, and as it is under warranty it will be replaced, but asked me to sell out Rs. 1400/- as various charges.
i talked to senior officials in Pune, regarding this but all in vain. since then i am registering complains at various places but till the time nothing has happened.
i simply has a question from Goodrej official that if you can not honor warranty, why do you give that ?

HIT pesticide used for mosquitoes was fake and didnt had odour as it used to have. It is ineffective to repell/kill mosquitoes and was waste of money.
