[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Credit Card — Fraud by ICICI bank

I would like to bring to your attention following facts about the unethical and illegal practice of ICICI Credit card division and bank and cheating being done.

A Credit card No - was issued to me on November 2002 which got expired on November 2004 . First The bank charged [debited ] annual fees from my savings bank account towards the annual charges while It was issued a life time free of cost basis and Later this was amount credited to my card account which is still unused and unnecessarily blocked for no fault of mine.

On August 2007 I was shocked to receive a SMS alert informing that Some transaction has been conducted through the card issued to me .Since I had not used this card at all therefore I immediately informed the customer care to block the card and transactions through this card.

I was assured through a telephone call from your customer care division that needful will be done and card has been blocked.

After that my credit card statement issued to me for the period August- September 07 reflected an amount of Rs.17958/ only to be paid to the bank for the transactions supposedly conducted by me . I informed the customer care that these transactions have not been done by me at all and I had already informed customer care about it.

Subsequently a fresh statement reversing the amount of Rs. 17958/ was issued pending enquiry into the matter.

After some time bank issued statement reflecting the amount again which I had not spent through my card.

I had sent many letters and emails to charge back department [ as advised by customer care ]to explain how transactions have been conducted and authorised by the credit card division but no reply on the matter has been sent to me till date about it.

Subsequently I met one of your employee from credit card collection Mr Ankit Goel ( Rohini Delhi Branch )to resolve the issue but he neither resolved nor revert on the case despite of my rigorous follow-up.

Now from January 2008 onward Your recovery agent start to calling me and abusing me for delay payments and on 1 st March 2008 I received an SMS that ICICI bank has transfered an amount of Rs. 20,760.00 from my Saving Bank accountno .This has been done without any information, discussion or knowledge .

Seriously, please don't take ICICI bank credit card,

I cancelled my creditcard account 2 years back, at that time they asked me to pay the due amount which we did aptly. after 2 years without even informing us they charged 5000 rs on my savings account for creditcard dues.

When I called up customer care, what apparently happened is that, there were some late dues 200Rs which weren't told to me at the time of last payment. which became 5000Rs now after 2 years.

THIS IS ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO NOW. they didn't even send me a statement every month, nor an email or call intimation. if they know to withdraw amount from my saving s account without my notice, they also have the access to my e-mail / phone. why don't they atleast inform me beforehand regarding this?

Planning to cancel all my ICICI bank accounts, i had for the whole family, 8 of them. Any suggestions for a good bank?

ICICI BANK-CREDIT CARD — Fraudulent net purchase

I am the bearer of ICICI credit card No.[protected] for the past 4 years. There was a fraud on this card of mine which I had brought to the notice of the bank. The Bank assured me that they will check into it and in the meantime I should make the payment which will be reversed to me. Now the bank refuses to refund the amount back to me.

I am a single mother with two kids and cannot afford this kind o[censored]ndue expense.

ICICI Bank — against extra charge on credit card

MYSELF MR ARVIND B KANAGNE MY CREDIT CARD NO [protected] . IN LAST DEC 2010 I DEOPPED CHEQ NO 119263 AMT RS 760. BUT THE BANK SAID WE COULDNOT GET THE CHEQ SO AGIN I DROPPED ANOTHER CHEQ NO 119240 IN DROP BOX .SO BECAUSE OF BANK MISTAKE THEY CHARDES IN THE SAME BILLS 400RS LATE FEE AND SERVICE TAX INTERTEST CHARGES I AM NOT PAID. EVERY MONTH THEY SEND US STATEMENT OF PAY THE BILL.SO MANY TIMES I SEND E MAIL ALSO BUT THEY ARE NOT GO THROUGH THAT

ICICI Bank Credit Card — Postel delay

Monthly statement for the credit cards not dispatched by the courier services in my address in time and I am receiving the statement every month very late i.e Statement date is 9th of every month and due date for payment is 26th of every month but the statement has been dispatched every month to my home address on after 23rd i.e the monthly statement is dispatched to the customer very late. Due to which I have to pay interest and late payment charges. I have already lodged this complaint through phone but this month also i have not received the statement (20.08.2011). Please do needful action immediately so as to avoid complaints from the customer and to avoid unnecessary penalties due to the lapse of dispatching authority. Thanks.

ICICI Bank creditcard — wrong billing against my expired credit card

I am astonished to see the credit card statement of September 2011 that you are asking me to pay an amount against my expired credit card NO.[protected] (Bill Date:28.09.2011 / service Tax Rs.115.21 / Interest charges Rs.1,118.56 ). I would like to inform you that I always pay the dues before time. You may like to crosscheck your record for confirmation. The above amount shown in the monthly statement of September'2011 may be wrong. You are requested to waive the charged amount from the statement to improve the customer relationship.

ICICI Bank — ICICI bank wrong charging and non resolution of customer complaints

I forgot my Transaction password of net banking.. i asked ICICI customer care to reset my password.. they said they would do it in 24 hours... they have charged me Rs 55 for it but I didnot receive any new password... now i have again submitted the request for change and I am sure that i would be charged again. the service is pathetic. I had earlier submitted a request for refunding Rs 400 which I got less during an atm transaction where i got only 3600 instead of 4000 which was cut from my account. i have tried calling customer care so many times but to no avail. i get charged for calling customer care and still i dont gget anything out of it.

This is to bring to your immediate notice that a transaction has made by india bizline online solution by Deliberately giving WRONG and False information. i have received the call in the morning on dated 29/10/2011. called by the miss salini from the club leisure and she has told me that we are the official partner of the icici bank and the bank offers u the offer as you are privilege customer of the bank (my name is Bharatkumar dahyabhai mehta. i am the customer of the icici bank credit card) and she has explain the benefit of the offer. she has offer me a polo watch plus travel voucher and one club gold card which will eligible for 20% discount on the each transaction. at no cost she has told me that to avail this offer u have to verify ur card details and she has connected my call on IVR after the i have verified the details , i have come to know that , it has charged me on my credit card of RS 5509 means it's fraud transaction without intimating any charges. i am going to launch the complain in consumer court my name is gauravkumar bharatbhai mehta mobile number [protected] please review my case and lodge the complain company & feel pity for the customers like me who trust these kind of people. I therefore request you to cancel the transaction and the card immediately and refund me the amount. Since this has been unethically done by suppressing the facts, I would be compelled to take a LEGAL actions if you do not return the amount of Rs 5509/-. ICICI Bank — 1399 Rs/- debited unnecessarily from the credit card

Dear Sir/Madam,
I Mr. Uma Mahesh Nanduri, Resident of East Anandh Baugh, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad...On 23rd Oct 2011, I Went to Shiva Shakthi Bar & Restaurant Which is located at 28-1, chanikyapuri, Safilguda , Hyd - 47. I Paid the bill amount of Rs/- 1399 with my ICICI Credit Card which is Master..At the same time, But Unfortunately, The same amount was deducted for second time from my card with out knowing me...I have received all the statements from the restaurant on the mentioned date...But there is no second trasaction receipt in the restaurant....So In this regards, I Would like to request you to pls take the proper action on this issue and credit the amount of Rs/- 1399 immediately to my Card..

Dear it is very unfortunate that after making complain 10 days back i have not got any response from your bank regarding my platinum card annual charges, pl inform if there is any annual charges against my platinum card then i am not going to use this card and also i want to redeem my credit card point for my gold card no [protected], because there is no clarity on pay back from your bank that how to redeem the credit point i am having also how much point is available on my credit card, pl help me this regard looking forward for your positive response this time. if i will not get this time any response from your then i will return your card which i have recevied recently. my platinum credit card no is [protected] and my mobile no is [protected]

ICICI Bank Credit Card — Over limit charges

Against my Titanium Credit card no.[protected] statement dated 29th Aug'11 Over Limit + Service charge (500+51.50) = 551.50 charged which I paid unknowingly on due date. Afterwards before payment of statement dated 28th Sept and viewing the previous statement I objected on interest charged through customer care and I was advised pay the amount after deducting the said amount which will be Credited by ICICI in next month statement and I did so.

Surprise to note that in statement dated 29th August'11 in-spite of eliminating the above charges the same has been again added along with interest on interest.

Hence, I am not going to pay any amount against statement dated 29th August'11, Unless I get the revised statement after adjustment of the above amount in total i.e. Rs. 551.50 + interest on above whatever charged additionally.

VALUE FOR MONEY OFFERS — PAYMENT MADE THRU ICICI CREDIT CARD

Dear sir/madam

I got repeated calls from some executives in Delhi, claiming that there was an offer for card through i can avail 20% discount on all purchases made
Even after repeatedly asking them, that whether it would get adjusted in CREDIT CARD Statement, they told it would get adjusted. Finally i agreed and made payment through IVR . After that when i cross checked with ICICI, they told they have nothing to do with this. After reading to columns made in this forum, i feel that i have been cheated like many others

pls inform to me the procedure / remedy for this?

ICICI Bank Credit Card — Bank Charging 3.5% extra on actual transaction amount

I purchased petrol on 15/12/2011 and the amount was 1556.77 but ICICI Bank shows the same transaction with 1595.69 in the bill. When contact they explained that the amount was charged 3.5% extra on the billed amount , as it was transacted other than HP Petrol Station. This was done without informing the customer and in the bill, in the same transaction. But earlier when i used to do the transaction with any petrol station , they used to reverse the petrol by 3.5% less, rather than charging 3.5% in excess. Can the service provider like ICICI Bank, do charge 3.5% extra on customer, on the same transaction?. If not this is nothing but cheating the consumer. Law should be strong enough to give strong punishment to the organization who does the fraud. Please let me know whether i should take legal action against ICICI. I am providing you the Bill as well as the transaction details as a proof.
