Hi,
Ticket No.TBCP 6864 7799
Subramani
Tickets from Chennai to Coimbatore
Date 20th November.
Service Provider: Jeyam travels
Ticket organizer: RED BUS
As working people we spent Rs 500 and reached Coimbedu at 9.15 pm to board the bus to leave at 9.30pm. The bus PLA(Jeyam Travels ) - after all the seats were filled left coimbedu at 1.40pm. The seats were in a horrible (too good a word) condition, the push backs worked to an extent of hurting the co-passenger if operated. My husband's knees were badly hurt due to the sudden push from the co- passengers. The spacing of the seats was horrendous. At 11pm the bus stopped - a puncture and still 2 Km from Chengleput. Jeyam travels did not have a spare tyre nor the tools to fix the tyre. Finally after borrowing a tyre from a passing bus left the spot at 12.30pm. It was freezing cold -we were not able to shut the windows as there was a gap in the windows. It was a real torture – freezing for almost 10 hrs. The bus was not able to compensate the speed due to its inefficiency of the bus. A very OLD bus.
The whole journey we were sitting at 90% angle. Endured severe backache. Reached Coimbatore at 1.30pm the next day ( a real camels ride).
Missed my meeting scheduled at 11am and my husband missed my relatives function at 10am. My absence in the meeting costs my career. Who is going to rectify this/ is it rebus or Jeyam Travels?. Who is going to compensate for the physical trauma we underwent in the 15 hour journey. Who should be held responsible???
Such buses and travels should be delisted for travel and Red bus should be careful in providing efficient services by recommending and choosing the right travels.
