I booked a Volvo AC bus ticket through redbus.in for 14 Sep 2008 from Shimla to Delhi. I made a payment of Rs 1530 through the payment link sent to my e-mail by redbus and in response Redbus issued me a ticket (Ticket No T[protected]) mentioning seat numbers, timings and bording point. But when I reached the boarding point in Shimla there was no such kind of bus that had been booked by redbus for me. There was one bus of Himachal Tourism and after lots of requests to that bus staff I purchased tickets again to travel to Delhi. I with my family went through a nightmare. Now redbus is blaming some other travel company for confirming the ticket to redbus without confirming it with Himachal Tourism. But my dealing was only and only with redbus. So only redbus is responsible for all the difficulty and inconvenience we went through.
Now redbus has silently refunded the amount that I paid to them. But I demand compensation for difficulty and inconvenience cause to me and my family owing to the inefficiency of redbus.
