I have booked a cash on delivery ticket from Red bus on the 25/5/11 from Pune to Hyderabad. The travel date was 29/5/11.However, i cancelled the ticket on 27/5/11 by speaking to redbus customer care and sending my bank details to them on the same day. I was promised by the customer care executive that the money would be refunded in 4 working days. its been more than 18 days that i did not hear anything from them, even afetr repeated calls and mails.
today (14/5/11) i get a mail from one of the executives that Red bus has issued a cheque (of lesser amount) and it will take 7 working days to get that cheque cleared. even outstation cheques of different banks get cleared in 3 working days. Therefore, not only it has been a harrasment for me to constantly follow up with these people, but also it is ridiculous in the way they have been taking their own sweet time.
The Customer should not be violated to such an extent that they lose their patience and start feeling helpless at the end in front of these bloody money making goons who just know how to take money and not return them.
I dont know if anything would be done in this regard (as i have utter trust in the abilities of our government) but at least i can pen down my experience of the hell hole i have been through so that other people can be aware of these menaces while bookink tickets inthe future. u cheats. my wish is that Red bus co to close soon as u cheat ur customer..
u will not live for long as u have cheated my 1 week hard work guys.

I am forwarding e-mail sent by me to Red bus customer support team, They have cheated me Rs.1500 (money not refunded due to my cancellation), , (i am sorry that i have lost my temper as i have used flithy language when i did interactions with Red bus as they have cheated my 1 week hardwork). I request your support in taking up this issue with RED BUS.,

when u book ticket its ur responsibility to send me e-ticket, you have not done that. i have even sent an e-mail stating that i have not recd any e tkt hence i am going ahead booking another ticket for whci no reply recd from you.
hence repay, , i am a daily wages, 1400rs is a big amount, .

atleast 4 people would have called me but with out any solution, my query is simple, pl provide me teh proof of teh e-ticket copt sent to me by e-mail. if you show me this proof i agree my mistake, no one from ur co is sending me this information, when i asked for this information i am getting a reply sttaing that my ticket is confirmed. pl understndthat Rs.1800 will be peanuts for ur Co but its my 7 days hardworking, pl understand that.
