Hi Support Team
My name is Daoud Ahmed Ansari, my brother got recently wedded and we booked two tickets for DELHI-MANALI on Saturday 03rd April, 2010. The bus service was of Hira Himachal bus service and was perhaps operated by M/S kaushik tours. The bus was late by one hour in DELHI and started for MANALI. Then the trauma started for newly wedded couple:
1- The bus was stopped in the middle of the night by PUNJAB POLICE in/around CHANDIGARH as BUS OPERATOR/DRIVER has not paid ROAD TAX.
2- The cops took the BUS in some kind of jungle.
3- The passengers were asked to disembark from the BUS.
4- Everyone was trying calling helpline i.e RED BUS and the bus operator, no-one came for their rescue/help.
5- You may understand the situation if the person reading this email has some sympathy.
6- The newly wed couple was forced to wait for 4 Hours in the dark and the cold weather.
7- When I tried to contact[protected] on SUNDAY, I kept on waiting for hold of 2 mins 31 seconds multiple times but no one came online to hear my grievance.
8- The bus finally reached around[protected] Hrs which resulted in a days loss in their schedule.
9- Now we are looking for two things:
A: Explanation & Clarification for this.
B: Written apology with compensation.
I won't say that we would go legal or to consumer forum for redressal of this issue instead our next communication will be through them only.
Let's see if REDBUS is interested in resolving this issue directly with us or through a third party.
