With reference to the above i wish to bring the following:
1. We have booked ticket from Chennai to Madurai for travelling on 4th November 2010 but cancelled and informed through mail on November 2 at 8.30 PM.
2. As i have not received any acknowledgement for next 24 hrs I have reminded them by mail on November 4 at 10.27 am.
3. Subsequently i received a confirmation mail on on 4th instant at 10.50 AM informing order Number as 2581849.
4. I have also received one more mail from redbus stating that the ticket is not cancelled within 12 hours but the first intimation was sent on 2nd November itself.
Furthermore they have sent few mails that already a payment was made but later understand by myself that it is some other payment transaction which they have wrongly sent to my for my query which also i noticed them by few mails and till now i have not seen any reply for the same.
Though the ticket was booked during Diwali, cancelled well in advance.
They have charged very exorbitant rate and also there is high demand for seat as such the seat was not empty when it traveled from Chennai to Madurai on 4th instant.
I have also filed a complaint to the police commission and a copy is enclosed.
A copy of complete mail communication is also enclosed for your easy reference.
A copy of booked ticket is also enclosed.
I prey the concerned, the travel agency people should be punished for their wrong doing as most of the cases things will not be brought to the concerned because of one or other reasons.
I need a reasonable explanation along with the refund.
Attachment could not be loaded as the file format what i am having is acrobat may send separately by mail if confirmed.
