[Resolved]  Sterling Tree Magnum (India) Ltd — Purchase of a teak tree

I invested Rs. 2, 550/- on 22/04/1994, Date of maturity: 21/04/2014, Application number: U 18115, Certificate number E 2183, No. of Teak trees: 2, Returns promised: 6th year Rs. 1, 600/-, 12th year Rs. 7, 200/-, 20th year 1, 24, 000/- (Or Rs. 1, 137/- per month till life, after 20th year).

No returns received so far. I don't think so many investors can just forget their hard earned money. Please respond suitably.

My father invested 50, 000 INR for 47 trees in 1996 and maturity date in 2016, how to get updates on this issue?

I had also invested on my son's name Anuraag Ravikumar - Application no. R 176 and Certificate no H 2175 with a date of maturity on 19/12/2015. The first interim returns were payable on 19/12/2001 and the second one on 19/12/2007. I have never heard from anyone in Sterling Tree Magnum ever. I don't have the latest contact information about the company. I bought this when I was serving in Indian Air Force, Jalahalli and my current address is No. 39 5th Main, 6th Cross, Krishnappa Block, Ganga Nagar Extension, Bangalore 560 032. I bought 2 nos." Sterling tree Magnum India ltd" trees vide certificate nos. T38380 and T38381 dt. 21/01/1993 which is supposed to expire on 20/01/2013. I have not heard anything from company till date. Request compensation as per rules.

Why is everyone posting details of their investments? There was a court case 2008 in Madras High court C.A. No. 555/2008 and company was to collapse. So it is very unlikely they are in existence still. Good luck.

I have also invested 20 trees for a value of Rs.33, 600 in my daughter name but still their is no information and the number posted in this is wrong for Sterling Tree Magnum ( India) Ltd is wrong. I purchased one tree on[protected] for Rs.1, 775/- with an assurance from the co that it will fetch Rs.97, 500/- on[protected]. Since the due date, I have been trying to contact them for payment. To my dismay, it is found that the address as well as the phone nos furnished as fake. I shall join the group fighting against the co, which cheated the public.

I have puhcased 11 Teak trees with 3 cents of Land in 1996 and the co. offered me interim benefits...!
No interim returns or response from the management so far... I would like to know that the Sterling Tree and Sterling Holidays are belonging to same management? Can I get help from anybody who is also suffering from the Sterling Tree Magnum people?
