This firm has just scammed my 70 year old mother. First by telling her she had lots of trojan viruses they said they could fix, then by selling her microsoft office that she didn't need (or want) she paid £300, they have lost all of her emails contacts. Do not touch this firm. They should be shut down

I am one of the techvedic customer since a long time and still using there support services. I never had these kind of problems with the company and its technicians. Technicians at techvedic are very professional and fast enough to resolve the technical problems.

It seems you havent tried calling them back. I suggest you to call them back at +[protected] and as you are not satisfied with the services provided or told to you, they will issue a full instant refund to you. They are available 24/7

Cheers!

I Agree with you, It's a fraud company and there is one more company ICARE Tech which is also doing the same thing. It's a fraud they said that they are norton / microsoft . Please be aware that these are fraudlent people who are just asking for money whatever the problem is. Please do something about these people. These people are Fraud . ICARE Technical Services. There website is www.icaretechs.com
I am new customer of techvedic, I am really shocked with your comments, but as I have my experience with techvedic I have had never been troubled with Techvedic, as I am a subscriber of an annual plan for complete technical assistance. I have find that these people are appealing much professional and can resolve any issue with your computer and frequently they take the payment after resolving the problem.
I Agree i so called had my computer fixed by them and after £450 spent still no joy, Not only that as TECHVEDIC were fixing my computer they said i needed to pay a further £210 even though id just purchased a life time guarentee i told them im not paying the 210 but because they had my card detail from previous transaction they took it anyway so i would say BE WARNED DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I called them thinking they were Stopzilla support. All I needed was to have my subscription reset. My key was good, it was just on a new computer. The first guy at Techvedic hung up on me after I tried really hard to understand a word he said. English could not have even been his second language. Then I called back and a different guy answered. He immediately requested to come into my computer remotely to fix my problem! He then nosed around in my computer and showed me hundreds of registry errors, ... NOT the problem I called him about. He said my computer had the KOOBFACE virus and that NOTHING but a certified microsoft technician could get rid of it. I have NOD32, but he said that would not fix it. He was lying OR he didn't know. He gave me a complete sales pitch to buy service for $300 per year to prevent KOOBFACE from taking over my computer. After a half hour or so, he reset my Stopzilla account which he could have done without coming in remotely.

I felt invaded and lied to. He also took up my time and put a scare into me about KOOBFACE. Since then I have talked with eset, and definitely NOD32 protects against this.

AVOID TECHVEDIC!!
AVOID AT ALL COST fraud company. Tell your credit card company to chase refund
Techvedic charged me 109.99 for an anti virus system you could get off the internet for free. They led me to believe that the antivirus was from microsoft and it was urgent that i dealt with this problem. The anti virus did not allow me to get to my hotmail account which was the problem. I called multiple times and they were not helpful.
I am in the UK and they contacted me saying that they were from Microsoft and that I had trogen viruses on my computer. I paid them £102 to sort the problem. My computer was fine before they worked remotely but absolutely useless after. In addition they tried to sell me AVG for the sum of £184 which fortunately I declined. They are very persistent and very believable. I stopped my credit card and told the credit card company that it was a fraudulent transaction. I am now awaiting a new credit card and have also informed my bank in case they have installed software that allows them access to sensitive material.
I did phone techvidec back and they blamed it on AVG!! Funny how my computer was working absolutely fine before they interferred, and now it's hopeless!! I now have to get my computer fixed and at what cost??
I definately would not touch them, as I believe that they are professional scammers.
I had very good help when my PC was playing up all the time. The Techie was very good and patient (I am in my 80 s) and took control of my PC and then called me back to say it was all done. As soon as he had gone I went into the programs and it was very fast and as responsive as it should be.
Of course, it cost me money. The techie spent over 3 hours all told and, don't forget, I could see everything he was doing on my monitor.
The company isn't a charitable organisation, staff have to be paid and overheads must be met. Do you honestly think you should have all that help for free?
Grow up!
DUREA
It seems that Techvedic engages in some dodgy business practices. Overcharging customers and not explaining the costs upfront. They just charged my father-in-law £220 for half an hour's worth of help. Avoid them.
this company is a set of scam artist i was sold a unlicenced avg product after speak with avg now i cant get a refund after spending 2 hours on the phone after having the phone put down on me twice when i mentioned the words avg and unlicenced when i did at last get to speak with some one wouldnt issue full refund and was very rude call center staff who work off a script and then tell me i had something wrong with my mind and again hung up on me where can i take this i want to take this matter further my card company and avg are looking in to this can anyone help me take the matter further AVOID THESE AT ALL COST
Joboy...Do you really checked the name of the company from where you got the call; cause there is different company who do all these kind of activities.
I bought the service recently from techvedic with antivirus products and it was all marvelous. My pc runs more faster and now i have AVG premium security on my computer; keeping me safe and secure. There support is available 24/7 and they do respond to me everytime promptly with superb support services. I can also request a callback from my login details provided with the ticket number. Once you request for a callback; they do call back right away.

It seems you did not get a call from Techvedic claiming microsoft. It was some other company for sure.
I too was scammed by this attrocious outfit. I found there number via a supposedly Microsoft help web site for Live Mail. The technician too control of my PC (with my approval and supervision) and informed me that I needed anti virus software as the machine was full of viruses slowing it down. He installed this software on this and another PC for close to £180. He then went on to "check" the PC and started to open my emails. I told hom to stop opening emails 3 times and he just carried on. I removed control access. He was very apologetic but I asked for a refund. He refused so I asked to speak to his supervisor. He denied his colleague had done this and apologised for his actions. I asked if he had done nothing why wa she apologising. At which point the phone was put down and I am still waitring for a refund. Avoid this cowboy outfit at all costs!!!
I to was scammed by this company, , , I thought they were microsoft windows, who I rang about these phone calls by scammers saying they were calling from microsoft, alas stupid me was sucked in by these people and it looks like its cost me £113-36p, for avg premium, I am trying to get some of my money back, what are my chances!!!
