I have renewed for 2 years and I too feel cheated

This is really unethical for a radio service to do.Its high time we the customers get together and make them refund everything.
But I really miss the music.are there any other satellite radio options in India?

They made all affords to cheat public by marketing the product till dec-2009 (by selling new connections). No information about the closeting of operations. Police should take the initiative to register a criminal complaint and help the public to recover the money

i have also paid my advance subs.would like to join for any common action complaint against the coy

I got the world space radio on MARCH 09, I paid for the 15 Month subcription, I did not use it for more than 3 months now i try to use it and no signal when i try to check in the internet i got shocked since the world space is closed without any notice will i get any money for my set and the subcription

Without any information you have disconnected the broadcast. Obviously you knew about the situation before you collected the 2yrs subcription. Please let us know the status as of now. we love Radio Farishta & are missing it. What is the problem? We have a right to know.

Its totally a cheating by making Indian People Fool. Where is your brand ambessador now??? A. R. Rahman??? What I will do with my BPL diva??

the central goverment ministers of broadcasting and information definately would have had some financial off records dealings done with senior managment of WORLD SPACE...other wise how come in such a short duration such incident could have taken place.

My sub was till August 2010. Its only recently i came to know that the company is no more. This just not acceptable. Can someone help.

This is to inform you that I had subscribed to world space and did pay an advance rental for the usage after the collection agent visited my residence and the payment was made in Cash.If i'm not mistaken I had made a payment for the entire year.I cannot remember but I was unable to use the services since Nov 09 if not earlier "TDM Gone" was the display on the Radio.I had also come to kno that the services were shut down since 31st Dec 09 for reasons unknown to me in the month of Jan 10 when I happend to call up the collection agent .I did not receive any intimation for the same from World space which was a Fantastic service with an exposure to world class channels However the instrument is like a "Show Piece" .A mail was sent to [protected]@worldspace.com on 26th Feb 10 only to receive a "Delivery Failure".In fact World Space did live upto their name of creating a "A WORLD OF SPACE" between them and we Harmless, Innocent Customers.If someone does hear our "Pleas", Justice should be served and those entitled to refunds including me(If any or irrespective of the amount) should be returned as there's a God up there who will take care of them.

My subscription is aas finish 30 jan 2010. i want to extend my subcription for another one year. bit iam living in jammu & kashmir. so i don't know where to paid my amount. so pls send the dealers and retailers contact address in jammu. so pls make it urgent.

I have two subscription, one due for 6 months and the other for one year i.e. upto 2011.
I thought that my receiver may gone faulty. but suddenly I came to know that they had stopped the services.

Such frauad cheating should be seriously taken and apart from the refund the company should be penalize for the crime.

Dear Sir,
World Space appraoched me to buy the new mobile Radio with the subscription of six months. I had paid using their telefonic network and my crdit card, amount Rs. more than 10, 000.00.

After I purchased the equipement ; 3 months later the services suddenly stopped without the notice.

Kindly request to take legal action against the company for cheating the customer.

I RENEWED SUBSCRIPTION FOR ONE YEAR & THREE MONTHS FREE WITHIN ONE MONTH SERVICE IS DISCONNECTED I SEND EMAIL BUT WORLD SPACE AUTHORITY NOT RESPONDING ME I REQUEST TO BROADCAST MINISTRY TO TAKE ANY LEGAL ACTIN AGAINST THIS WHITE COALER FRAUD

All my friends have similar problem. Can Consumer court come and help us. Should we complain to consumer court.

I had renewed my subscription till Feb 2011 and also did not receive any initmation about the discontinuation of service. I extend my full support to expose this fraud and also to retrieve our subscription charges from worldspace.

I too was cheated similarly.
Infact, I am a subscriber since 2003 and just last year I puchased two more radio sets (for my parents and my in-laws) and subscription for further two years, in addition to my own subscription.
Not only should they reimburse the subscription costs, but also the equipment costs, as the equipments is useless now.

I feel cheated too. We all should get a refund by complaining to the parent company in the US office or file a consumer complaint in the consumer grievances cell. Any collective actions are welcome.

i also got my radio renewed for 2 years and it stooped working i thought may be some technical problem but i got cheated
