Sub : - CHEATING DONE by serviceman (Team) of DAIKIN
This is to bring to your kind notice that one of my Daikan AC was not cooling well. So we logged a complaint on 21/03/23 and then a technical visit was arranged . When the technician, whose name was Mr. Dheeraj came, he stated that we need to refill the gas in the AC and that’s why the colling was less.
He gave us two options, either we get it filled from him where he would charge less or where we can take the services from Daikin. We chose to use Daikin services and then the technician filled in the gas for INR 3550. (attaching the service completion certificate for your reference) at that time the AC was in the warranty period. As the weather was good in the month of April, we didn’t use the AC. It was only in the month of MAY we switched the AC on and again the AC was not cooling, so we again logged a complaint and this time the technician came and stated that the compressor was faulty and that’s why the AC was not cooling. When the second technician came, the warranty period of the AC got finished and now he told us that we need to change the compressor as it is not in the warranty period and we need to pay another 15, 000 for this .
NOW THIS PATTERN WHERE ONE TECHNICIAN VISITS AND DOESN’T CHECK THE AC PROPERLY, WHERE THE REAL PROBLEM WAS THE COMPRESSOR, but he ENDED UP REFILLING THE GAS AND THE SECOND TECHNICIAN WHEN CAME SAID THAT THE COMPRESSOR WAS NOT WORKING.
AS SEEN IN THIS CASE THIS IS PURELY THE MISTAKE OF THE TECHNICIAN WHO COULD NOT FIGURE OUT THE REAL PROBLEM AND NOW. THE PROBLEM OF COMPRESSOR COULD HAVE BEEN SORTED AS AT THAT TIME THE AC WAS IN WARRANTY PERIOD, BUT AS THE WARRANTY EXPIRED IN MAY’23, NOW WE NEED TO PAY ANOTHER 15000 FOR THE COMPRESSOR.
THIS ACTION IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
