I bought a exide battery (Battery type fmi0-mi105d31l, serial no. A26c005266 2c62) on 18th june, 2016 for my xuv-500 from your dealer, sunny battery centre. The batter went dead a couple of times this week and on taking to the dealer he confirmed that one of the cells is malfunctioning and the battery needs to be replaced. He neither could give me a standby battery nor could the service center provide me one. They advised me to contact the exide care helpline. The call center couldn’t put me through a batmobile agent after several attempts. Then i registered a complaint earlier today a complaint number ewba00029792 with a promise that a service engineer will call me shortly.

I’m still waiting and meanwhile my car hasn’t been used for 2 days because of a dead ‘new’ battery. Is this the service exide promises its customers? 2 day of no respite with just a 1 year old battery and 2 entire days wasted with follow ups?!!

      Hi,
      I have purchased a battery from exide emporium on 4th may'16. Recently the battery got some problems and not working. The warranty is still showing the replacement but the seller did not get the point and wasting my time on daily basis. Now the seller sent the battery to the service center and told me wait till that time for checking.
      I am shocked that if exide have a written warranty that battery will be changed if the same is in warranty between 0-18 months period..
      Then how the seller denied or refused for replacement.

      Short out the issue on priority basis other wise every documents will be subject through legal step.

      I have been attached the warranty card scanned copy and the receipt of that seller for your reference.
      The seller name is exide emporium.

      I brought Exide two wheeler batter on[protected] in DAN automobiles battery suddenly doesn’t work so I returned to dealer to service battery which is under warranty on October 27th till I didn’t get any proper response so kindly check the issue and resolve it...
      Duplicate battery sold by the seller, after several attention at the purchased shop the problem is not solved.
      Always it was charged and given back, but it is surprised hear that the battery is duplicate. Now the battery is fully dead.

        This batery is under 4 years waranty . one weak back, i found that my remote is not working to open the gate of car . i found this batery is fully exhusted and not in working condition . i call dealer mr virendra jee and ask to take necessary action to exchange the batery..
        but i am sorry to say nor mr virendra jee nither your man mr manish of exide have taken necessary action for exchange and my batery .even to day i call mr manish but call is not received and no return call to me .
        on this i complead to request mr virendra to fit my batery after recharge so i can move .e
        this battery can exhausted any time to trouble me on way . so please have to loge my complant and replace present batery which is in 4years waranty to new batery .

          Bought the battery around 2000 with 3years warranty, dead after 1 month's usage, already sent to service center once but returned as good and ok, and again after 2 months the battery went dead, now again resend to service centre. Hope they will replace this time. Tried using another battery and it is working fine with out any hiccups, even got my motor cycle checked and everything is working fine and ok.

            Sir,

            I am feeling very sad to write that the exide batteries (Qty - 2) purchased from faridabad haryana, which are in 100% warranty, are giving trouble since more than one month, and despite of complaint on customer care several times nobody is coming / responding to the complaint.

            These batteries are installed in my dental clinic, and my work is severely affected because of non-working of these batteries.

            Despite of several calls on customer care, nobody is reverting.

            Very sad to hear on the "no response" method of listening to complaints by a renowned public limited company.

              Dear sir,

              We (Kopal hospital, suresh sharma nagar bareilly) have purchased 16 new batteries on[protected] at singhal power system & x ray shope at opp. Nagar nigam (West gate), bareilly. It is mentioned in the bill, batteries have 3 year warrenty but after completion of about 2 years these were not working so we informed meny times about this problem to the service center but they did not take any action and they were giving an excuse that they have no battery, after 24 days they came to provide their service, for this poor customer service plz look in this matter... And plzz respond to our request...

                विनम्र निवेदन यह है कि दिनांक 03/06/15 को मैंने बैटरी खरीदी जो की 3 साल की वारंटी के साथ मुझे दिया गया था। पर बैट्री दिनांक 10/8/17 को पूरी तरह गर्म हो गया और फिर उसका बैकअप यही कोई 20 मिनट तक ही रहने लगा मतलब की कोई काम का नही रहा तब मैंने सर्विस सेंटर को जानकारी दी। और वो 15/8/17 को घर पर आए और पूर्ण परीक्षण के पश्च्यात साइट इंस्पेक्शन रिपोर्ट जिसका क्रम सं 338 है । उन्होंने मुझे आस्वस्त किया कि आपका बैट्री लोड और दिन जो यूज़ हुआ उसके मुताबिक काम नहीं कर रहा है। अतः आपको 10 दिन के बाद बदल कर दिया जाएगा परंतु महोदय आजतक कोई भी व्यक्ति जो इस कंपनी से सम्बंधित है नही आया है
                मजबूरन मुझे आपसे अनुरोध करना पड़ रहा है कि कृपया इस संबंध में सहायता करने का कष्ट करें

                Hello team,

                I had purchased a battery on 08/06/2015 having serial no. 10G[protected], series IM 10000.

                I had raised a complaint two times regarding that it is not working from past 3 to 4 months on 24 October 2017 and again on 28 October 2017. Below are the complaint ids.-

                Customer care executive checked the battery and said that we have a problem in
                microtek invertor. We get the inverter checked and it is working fine.

                Can you please escalate the matter and send the executive who is having some skill and who can check what is not well according to him.

                  I purchased exide fxr0-12xr7b-b (7 ah) about 3 month back and the battery is discharged every 30 - 40 days. I submitted the request for replacement by distributor name - unique power vaishali ghaziabad, exide dealer. But they send me to report this complaint in exide warehouse. As per service center, the battery is ok and needs to be charged and told the charger problem. I changed my bike charger as well but facing same problem. I request, please take necessary action against exide company they cheat with customers about the warranty of 36 month. The batteries are not good for 3 months. Hopefully this request is good for the action against exide batteries dealer and company as well

                    How many days it took to replace the exide battery. I bought a new exide battery three months before for my royal enfield, every 15 days i have to charge my battery in a battery shop so i try to replace the battery and give my battery to exide showroom, but till now i didnot get my replaced battery whenever i asked the authority people simply said your replaced battery will come in next load. Almost it took 20 days so give me a proper response. Whenever i call their customer care they failed to response.

                      Service centre returned it declaring 'ok'.
                      It is not giving service more than three months.
                      My vehicle charger is found ok.
                      I am harrassed, want a replacement.

                        I purchased an exide car battery fmio-midin65 (Lh) from one of your dealers in may 2015. To replace the battery (It was creating problems), i had gone to the dealer with the warranty for an exchange as per the terms & regulations mentioned in the warranty. Unfortunately the dealer does not exist anymore. Subsequently i called up exide care call centre[protected] and was asked to visit another dealer ' sri rameshwara battery centre'no. 11, 24th main road, ayodhya nagar, j. P. Nagar 5th phase, bangalore - 560078. This dealer was rude and was only interested in selling a new battery to me. Though i explained i had a warranty certificate, he refused to take the battery and issue a new battery. When i mentioned that as an exide dealer, he should honour the warranty, he mentioned that he is not interested in this exchange business. I really would want you take an action against this unacceptable behaviour of this exide dealer. His contact number is [protected].

                          A complaint was registered at kolkata yesterday (29/09/17) with regard to sending your technician to recharge my exide maruti 800 car battery which has drained out. All essential details were provided with regard to the address, land mark, mobile number while registering the complaint.

                          This noon, i received a call from number [protected] stating that the technician would contact me once the complaint he was currently handling was solved.

                          Subsequently i received a call from mobile number[protected] asking for details pertaining to the landmark, address and the nature of the complaint all of which was provided for.

                          The technician rang me up later again stating that he is unable to locate the landmark provided. He also stated that he is not clear about the location where he was at that particular time. When i called up the first number provided above, i understand that the technician has stated that such a landmark, as provided for, does not exist. I was also told that i could register a complaint against the service people if i wished.

                          Would i be providing incorrect details to your service staff to have my car battery checked?

                          I did not expect a response overall, like i did, from an organization who are market leaders in batteries. If for any reason exide is unable to provide the due service expected from them, it would be prudent to let customers know of it.

                            I have using only pulser bike. The battery is not working properly on first 5 day after purchase i have complained to yes batteries but they are repaired and then it work for some day agin.
                            So i want to replace for the same exide battery.

                              I given complaints 3 times through cusomercare. Two times i got complaint no as, skla00003324v356, skla00003736v126 respectively.
                              First time attend one of executive whos name amarthu and resolved d troble and we given happines code and service charge.
                              Afterwards, within 1 wk same problem faced. Second time one of service executive called from [protected] and informed to send happines code and complaint no and everything send to his no. But unfortunately he not attended till this time.
                              Your service engineer also not picking the call.

                                I have purchsed exide battery 12v-150 ah, sl no-a3h5bo21312-3h55on 11/9/15. I found the battery and luminous inverter were in extremely hot condition and raised complaint to the dealer hark enterprise-barrackpore. Against complaint the service engineer came and found it was not ok. So dealer took the battery and sent to service center. I received the battery back with same condition. It was again in hot condition and inverter was also getting hot. I thought, might have any problem in luminous inverter, so ask to check the same and they back up me with the other inverter. The same thing was happened again. The warranty is going to end on tomorrow 11/9/17.
                                The details crn no-nv/ex/bst/6932773, crn date-20.8.17.
                                So what to do? Not getting specific answer from the dealer hark enterprise-barrackpore. This is a safety issue. Need to solve the issue from your end or i have to go to consumer forum.

                                  Battery type fiso is 1500. No a4k3d017164. Used for inverter. Purchased on april 2014.

                                  Batter blasted and the complaint was logged on 29 aug 2017 complaint no skaa 00006013v138. So far none has bothered to attend the complaint and give us a satisfactory response.

                                  The impact of the blast was such that one of the pieces has fallen 15feet away. Imagine the same hitting a human being, it may have hit like a bullet from the gun.

                                  I want somebody to visit the spot and give us a response.

                                    I have purchased the exide battery (Dry cell) for my bike pulsar 150 on 15 jul 17. But yesterday it is niether living start nor showing any display. I have to use kick to start my bike. My battery type is fxlo-12xl7b-b. I m very dissapointed from exide service. What is the use of warranty of 04 yrs? Very bad service from exide. I will not recommend any body to use exide battery.

                                      I purchased an exide battery sr no a3e6e002605 3e62, type invamore 1500 on 04/06/16 from exide authorized dealer ms sri jayalaxmi enterprises.
                                      The warranty on the battery is for 36 months.
                                      About 20 days back the inverter stopped working & on inspection it was found that the battery has discharged completely. I therefore dialed the dealer for replacement of battery, he asked me to dial the customer care number of exide batteries. Which i did about 15 days back, the cc registered my complaint & the regd no given was sapa 00006525u169. I was told that a service engineer will contact shortly, i waited for about 3 days since there was no response i called in again, after this call a service engg visited my house & after inspection told me that he is helpless as he can't take the battery along with him, i insisted that he either replace the battery or get this fully charged, but the did not relent, instead he told me to pursue with the dealer only, i kept telling him that the dealer will not act & you are trying to pass your responsibility to the dealer!! He left with an assurance that the dealer will attend to this. Now its more than 7 days since i am following up with the dealer & he is giving one or the other excuse for not coming over. Today when i shouted on him he told me that the charges for servicing the battery will be rs 500.
                                      Now is this what is expected of exide, i feel cheated. I have been an exide customer form ages, this experience has shown me the true face of exide, it seems they are simply not bothered to provide customer satisfaction, or they have become so arrogant that they simply don't care!!
                                      This was the last battery which i & my family has ever purchased from exide.

                                        My exide battery is onsite warranty of 36 month. My complain number is ejha00006823v183 dated 01.08.2017. For battery problem even i called many time service engineer but service engineer not attained my problem.. My home adress is out side bokaro city it is far from 22km far from chas bokaro. Village:gopibathpur, po: kumardaga, bokaro, jharkhand. Service engineer not attained my problem due to outside the city. But when i purchased battery that time exide dealer told they cover onsite warranty any where in india. Therefore it is requested to you kindly take any action regarding above.
