Hathway customer account number [protected] - paid up the charges this morning as per transaction id hat26465c178d454. But all channels have been now blocked. Hathway operator in colaba does not respond ; and when one of them did, they said they will not allow fta channel other thn the maharashtra pack offered by them - and alacarte selection will not be entertained by them.
This is the second month in a row of this behaviour. Contact of hathway colaba is mr. Rocky lobo tel : [protected].

    I have recently bought hathway playbox connection, there is a poor support from the dealer. When we try to reach out to him either he will cut the call or will say call back later but won't answer for the queries. Dealer name: senthil kumar. When we enquired for the services he was very keen on making us to pay the amount immediately and dint give us time to discuss. He said make the payment before 12.30 i will give the connection by today evening but he gave the connection next day evening post several phone calls. Once i receive the playbox called him for queries he is not answering for what we have asked instead he was telling what are the services available. Kindly request you to take the prompt action.

      Respected sir,

      I am gtpl customer since 10 to 12 years
      Recently trai has introduce new rules for television broadcasting.
      As per new rules consumers have right to pay for what they see. But gtpl network is not follwing new rules by trai. And forcing consumer to select the pack as per their design which cost 30 to 40% more.

      Training has also introduces channel selecter application. Through which you can select the channel and it will calculate your monthly cable bill.

      Using that application i have chosen my channels package and went to gtpl office and ask him to give me the pack that i have chos. But he straight a way denied and ask me to choose the package that he has designed which was costing me 100rs. More. When i refused to select the channel pack as he had designed. He threaded me to discontinue the service if i refuse to choose his designed pack.

      So this is my complaint. Please forward it to traiand take appropriate action against gtpl cable tv operator.

        I have paid 300 rs for hathway cable operator "sreekanth world vision". 17th b cross, 13th main, jp nagar 5th phase, bangalore. I was able to see all the channels for 10 days, later i could not able to see any subscribed channels other than free channels. I am tired of contacting cable operator. They are not acting, everytime they said we will work on this.

        please improve customer care service no one there to attend the call[protected] else remove customer care itself so people will not get irritated by being in call to hear the music more than 15 min then auto disconnect.

          Hathway Account No: [protected]

          I had taken a new Hathway cable connection in August 2018 with yearly subscription of Rs. 3300 (+ some charges = Rs. 3600). It included all SD+HD channels for a year, without any condition. All was hunky-dory till new TRAI rules kicked in for user's choice of channels.

          This is how it went: Hathway / local cable operator never informed me about change of plan to some Sport Packs worth Rs. 338. The plan was activated on my account WITHOUT MY CONSENT. The plan removed all my HD channels and has only free and sports SD channels.

          When I called up cable operator twice, he refused to change anything saying plan has been assigned by Hathway. They have not refunded the money to your wallet. Operator asked me to call Hathway Customer Care to get the balance in wallet so that I could choose channels of my choice for rest of the months (till August 2019). He also gave me an email ID: [protected]@hathway.net. I mailed them with the issue on 6th March 2019. It's been 16 days now, no response yet.

          Called up Hathway Customer Care on 17th March 2019. The Customer Care Executive asked me to select channels on the Hathway.com and directly enter my Hathway card & account details so that the plan will be activated. I did that. And guess what, all my channels which were running, are totally gone! I have nothing to watch on TV since that day.

          Called up Hathway Customer Care again on 21st March 2019, to enquire. The Customer Care Executive informed me that "I" had DEACTIVATED the current running plan! Another surprise this is for me. He said, if the plan was running, we could have refunded your money (which could have been done in the call on 17th March 2019). Wow, the earlier CC Executive did not know this?

          He has now raised a complaint in his system and Hathway is supposed to refund my money to wallet and allow me choose channels of my choice for tenure till August 2019.

          @Hathway Team: Can you care to take a note of the pain I am going through? Or you want me to go a step further in Consumer Court? Please advise!

            I have a frequent disruption in internet service. You may see the attached list of my complaints in March. In this month the internet stopped working 5 times. The last one is on March 20th and still not reinstated despite several calls and followup only to hear 'sorry' 'it will start by evening or next day' and nothing is happening. When I request to speak to the supervisor, I have always been told 'he's busy', 'he will call you back' and never ever calls. I am in IT and my earnings depend on uninterrupted internet service.

            When I requested to refund my balance subscription amount so that I go for another internet service provider, Hathway said it's against their policy.

            Can anyone help and ASAP, please?

              We are not using tv from february and not thought no need to recharge but we have seen that we need to pay 153 per month if we use or not. So we paid and we added our channels on 10 of this month and worked fine. But after 10 days again it is stopped and asked us to recharge again the monthly rental. After recharge also we are not able to view the tv. Please help us in resolving the issue asap. Next time i want to recharge both the rental and tv channels at a time not different times.

                I dont like the services. i payed the amount but still my account is not active. the executive who opened my account is also not answering my calls. If this is happening in the starting of my connections means i can expect what happens in future if i continue with hathway. in future if i get some issues with internet i am sure that no one will come to resolve it for days. very pathetic service. i didnt expect this from hathway.

                I request no one should go for hathway unless if anyone want to waste their money and time.

Mukesh joshi are not told properly about plan and payment mode and process. His behaviour and talking sense not good from consumer. He told about charges he will not collect money from home. But he collected always from home regularly. Please provide best solution about it. Thanks

                    I am having trai cable tv connection at my home.

                    My cable box mac id is: 24767d63ff72.

                    I have downloaded my interest pack of cable channels and got the list my area hathway cable operator. He asked me wait for one month to get it done and forced me to take the plan which was created by them. This month also after my repeated requests, he is not activating my selected channels and he is forcing me to choose from the package of channels suggested by them.

                    Also i requested him to update my mobile number, email id and mac id in the hathway website, so as to enable me to get my channels selected online. But he is also not helping me regarding this.

                    More over, they are making me to go to their office every now and then and are no available over the phone. Also the hathway customer care is not responding over the numbers provided in their official website. Those numbers are useless.

                    The amount that they are charging is very high and does not contain the channels that i requested.

                    Please make it a regulatory and mandatory to all the service providers also the local service providers to follow the rules framed by trai.

                      We have been trying to contact hathway on the helpline and also on the nodal officers number. But there is nobody to answer our calls since februrary 2019.

                      As per the information of hathway regional contact person of peddar road region, we have paid inr 1350 in january 2019 to mr. Ashish of hathway. As per this we were to get all the channels working until the new process of channel choice was to be implemented. But regrettably after making the payment, almost all our channels are showing as blocked.

                      In addition when trying to choose our channels through the mobile app, the app is showing us an available balance of negative inr 704.59. We are unable to understand this cost as there are no dues payable from our end.

                      The complaint facility of the website does not work. There is now way of submitting our complaint thru the website.

                      We have sent emails to the nodal officer but the same remains unanswered till date.

                      The toll free number is always busy. We are never able to get through the same.

                        We have purchase a package for internet for one year but everymonth internet stops working for few days for some wierd reasons, we have to complain every now and then for this issue but from last 1-2 months internet isn't working, when we complainet they ask us to fit a box at our house which will use our electricity and and will provide connection to many other houses when we refuse to install that box in our premises they said then internet won't work, and when we asked for our refund they said we wont provide you refund for this, because we have solution but you are not willing to solve, also we have not been told about this box stuff while purchasing the package

                          Hathway in haji ali area is harassing the consumers in wierd ways ever. They disconnect cable sothat outstanding dues r paid by people..?
                          They do not send their rep to collect the dues.

                          Now after new system of selecting channel started i have been contacting their area rep mr rup for helping me out. I tried selecting and paying online but online they are showing 1000 rs outstanding on my cable card..! These people they do not give u service as soon as the date changes at mid night.! The cable disconnects and msg on screen says pay dues msg 4.

                          Such people will leave 1000 rs outstanding..? Ok. I wrote email to nodal officer abt this but no reply no solution. I asked the local service guy he said "online paying tab is having glitches and dont pay online its showing any amount outstanding. There is some technical issue"

                          I filled the of hathway which channels i want and whatsapped the form to mr. Rup still there was no help.

                          No on holi festival day they have disconnected my cable connection. I am not able to watch tv..? I called all numbers but nobody picked up.. The pathertic call center twice kept me on hold for 7minutes each and they disconnected me.??? Is this what we are paying them for..?

                          What is my fault here..? The pathetic service of hathway??
                          Hathway should shut down if they can not manage business properly..

                          This is nth number of time hathway has disconnected my cable connection and i plead the authorities to take action against this service provider..

                          I have proof of email sent to nodal officer.. Also note everymonth they send us sms stating mr. So & so visited u pls pay ur dues but in reality nobody has visited & nobody does..?

                          What kind of lie are these guys playing with us..?

                          Once samething they had done disconnected cable on saturday and sunday no one attended my calls. Later on their rep told me "we disconnected cable of particular area sothat people call us and pay up..!"???

                          Hathway field rep rupesh has refused to help and has switched of his mobile.. The numbers mentioned on hathway official site are dubious and does not work the toll free number also has gone off service it does not ring.

                          Why shud i pay Extra 700 rupees to get the new channel system? when i asked what these etra money is asked they have disconnected my cable from Holi festival day and till today there's no cable connection.

                          What kind of service is this..? for what fault do i suffer such rowdy and pathetic customer service..? I want to report this to TRAI Hathway is asking me extra 700 rupees to start the new channels pls provide speedy assistance pls ban hathway in india as they are harassing the customers who pay on time and who expect the least a proper customer care and assistace

                          i have apid 980 rupees to get the cable connection restored. which includes 706 ruppees which hathway has forced me to pay.. bcos i have been paying timely and i dont have any outstanding.
                          now despite paying to get the cable restored they have not bothered to restore my cable connection.. Why TRAI does not have strict guidelines for such careless service providers..?
                          The mumbai nodal officer is another level lair.. she ignores complaints abt her pathetic services and lies to not have recieved any email..?

                          why should we suffer despite timely paying them? i want justice from TRAI in this matter

                          From feb the basic pack of 130rs is on.. They wat is 706 rs they have taken from me...?

                          Also note their online website is so pathetic n bad it does not allow to select and add channels and free channels also it does not allow to add.. ?? is there law n order in india is anyone going to take note of this looting and cheating by hathway..?

                            I have been using hathway for more than 2 year. Since last more than 6 months i am facing frequent internet disconnection i can't even count the number of times i had to call customer care for this issue and then the engineer comes to my hime fixes it then again after few days the same issue. The engineer keeps saying that it wont happen again and then it happens again. I am tired of this # broadband internet i will be making sure to recommend everyone not to go for hathway broadband ever it's an # internet.

                              Usually, i prefer gtpl that's why since the last couple of years i am using your network but now i am facing everyday problems. Since the last 3 days, my tv is off because "signal not found" pop-up is coming whenever i turn on. I have also called the service provider but he says very soon you will get it but the result is the same, yet my tv is off.

                                I have tried reaching out to couple of times in first week of marchto escalate the issue that i am having with my connection. Kindly look into this -

                                1) cable not working - i have subscribed to the channel per trai regulations on 26th feb but my connection has suddenly stopped working. Per customer care suggestion, i subscribed to one additional channel and made the payment but that has not helped.
                                2) no refund provided - i had royal hd connection till 3rd march but i was made to subscribe to channel on 25th feb. My money has not been refunded for royal hd.
                                3) it is extremely hard to reach the customer care. Average wait time is at east 6 mins before you are connected to customer care. Most of the time he connection is dropped and we never get the issue resolved.
                                4) customer complaint - i have tried registering my complaint via customer care number. Your executive declined to register my complaint regarding refund and mentioned "mai aapki complaint nahi register karunga" (I will not register your complaint). Most of the times it is impossible to reach out to customer care executive. I have tried calling nodal office (Pune) via telephone number and email address provided on your website. All my phone calls were never picked and i have not received any response on my emails.
                                I tried twitter handle but have not received a response there as well.
                                The portal to register complaint is not accessible via your mobile app and website.

                                Complaint has not been resolved. They are harassing me further and have out my account in negative. They are not willing to justify why my account is in negative. I have visited their both the offices in my location without any resolution.
                                Inspite of paying RS 200:63 on 19/3/2019 and again RS 170/ towards bouquet, the free channel have not been activated inspite of my complaints on landline and the dealing officer.

                                  Already raised 15 complaints for broadband connection issue but this guys are thinking that gtpl is our dads company and we dont have refund policy thats why let the customer suffer whatever the issue. File court case againts this company drag them to court making people fool. 12 month plan and internet work only 6 month remaining 6 month is their technical issue.

                                    When i installed the hathaway broadband connection i have deposited money. Which is being told when u will surrender u will get back by cheque but i have surrendered the router modem adapter on 30.07.18 but still i have not received any money or cheque. I have been to office also but they are helpless. This is the worst service hathaway gives. Pathetic, unprofessional, waste company

                                    Already made payment online for the month of march.last night at 2:00 am my cable went off..Today morning when I visited your office at Bazolla complex in Chembur (east) at 12 noon to check reason... your person was not aware about the same and there were other customers also who had visited your office for the same reason..At 4:00 pm your executive name Mr Mangesh ask all the customers to pay extra payment in cash to activate cable...till now my cable channels are not coming even after forwarding complaint..
                                    Today being holiday you have caused inconvenience to many such customers.

                                    Request you to fix this ASAP or else I may have to take this to next level.

                                      So one more feather to hathaway cable services. Poor service, illiterate field representative (Who barely understand the difference between a - la - carte or diamond package) been 2months now paying for diamond package for 1set & a la carte for another set however all they offered me are the free channels. I can’t find the channels i paid the money for. To top it up most of the calls went unanswered and we have to deal with this inspire of making the payments on time.
                                      My cable operator (Bhawani hathaway) has no answers for where my money is gone and no card is yet given to me where i can have any written proof except for the messages we receive after making the payments. Senior head (Mr shirke) and team are not bothered about the services and number of complaints being written. As on date when we tried to reach them finally from a different number inspite of sending their field executive, they are calling us over.
                                      I would like to withdraw from hathaway once and for all. Digital cable section is the worst in terms of providing whatever or anything they claim.
                                      Please help us find a way out from these goons who are making false promises for the set top box n initial connection n laters can’t serve any of the channels excpt for the free ones.

                                      One off the worst cable connection and also a worst cable operator Im facing. We paid them extra money for extra channel but from past 20 days they r just giving reasons. Bangarappa nagar, Hoskerehalli cable operator r giving worst service to there customers
                                      Despite of prepayment as per new guidelines, many channels are blocked. Also broadcasters package and alcart channel list shown on web is incomplete. We are not be able to choose channels of our choice.

                                        We don't get the service that we have paid for. I have paid my subscription fee for the month of march still am not able to subscribe for the service. All means to contact the hathway service goes in vain. Am unable to lodge a complaint neither in their portal nor in their app. Worst customer service i have come across

                                        I had requested to change my channel offering as per the chosen channels (Based on trai guidelines) on 18th march 2019 and paid the money. been calling the customer care and local cable tv operator but no response.
