I regret to inform you the amount of inconvenience i have been facing from the last 1 week on getting the internet connection activated. Let me give you some background.
I have been a hathway user until 2015 (Used it for almost like 5 years) bearing account# 999525. I have had a lot of issues in the past and escalated to higher officials and also filed a complaint in consumer forum and consumer complaints board. After a lot of trouble faced from hathway on the connectivity i moved to act from 2015 and now hold 2 separate connections and i am very happy with the service act provides.
I never wanted to opt hathway again but after getting multiple calls from the customer support i wanted to give it a try and wanted to relocate the connection to my in-laws place. I was promised on getting the connection activated on the same day of payment for which i have made the payment online on friday, 22nd march. Since then, i have been chasing the hathway guys and still my connection is not activated. Below is the detailed drama.
1. Friday no one turned up and when i tried calling the agent, their mobile is either switched off or no response.
2. On saturday, i had a technician who comes and installs the modem and cable but not the router, when i asked him i was promised for a router, he said he was not aware of router and left, again i followed up.
3. On monday i had the router setup done but there was no connection yet and the reason they gave was the main cable on the apartment terrace has been broke by someone.
4. Tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday i kept following up and everyday i was promised of having the connection activated but there is no response.
5. Further, i keep getting calls from the technicians and ask me the address, i have given my address multiple times to multiple people but still they ask me for the address, for which i finally denied and told them to check with the hathway office.in response to that the agent rudely spoke, saying they will not give the connection for which i said i will file a complaint in the consumer forum and the response i got was do what you want to do!
Its been one week now and i am sick of the service you guys provide, when i call up the customer care i was told that the agent who promised me was on leave, does that reason even makes sense?
Please help me in getting this issue resolved. I have previously approached the consumer complaints board and i received a positive response on my issue. Thank you again in advance.
