I have a gift voucher of IFB microwave over model no. 17ltr microwave worth rs. 3500/- serial number R.I/IFB/MWO/[protected], it is valid till 31st august 2008.
i got this voucher from Vodafone Essar south Ltd. wher i was working last year. but whenever i am callin on delhi IFB customer care number which is mentioned on back side of the coupon ([protected]/ [protected]), they are sayinmg that this particular model is out of stock and they can not provide me till futher notice. but after one month this coupon will be expire and i will not get my gift. they should provide me a time frame when they can provide me the product. i have also looged a feedback / complaint on ifb website as well.

I recommend you not to buy that particular model coz its a useless one just meant to heat yr stuff a little bit. Service is very Poor, Spares unavailabe, all MWO imported from China & Sold in India. I am really cursing for buying Anything of the above company.
i purchase IFB 20 sc1 model microvave oven from manjeet electronics 1as january 2008.
now it has decloped corrosion inside and its door switch is also malfunctioning. i think IFB ha lost control quality and landing in to the worst quality area lower then local make.
after lot of follow up. no body is giving proper response.
now this big company is making bad products and its staff is also bad.

I’m a Customer of an IFB Washing Machine. I have purchased a washing Machine (DIGITAL 5KG) from VIVEKS, NANGANALLUR, and CHENNAI in the month of December2007. The serial no. Of the Machine is 3653, purchase date 15/12/07.
From the starting onwards we are facing frequent mechanical problems in the Machine, listing the problems

1/ Heavy Vibration due to imbalance of stone. And the balance screws get unscrewed and the stone is been disturbed and shifted down.
2/ Tub Breakage
3/ Top Stone screws loosen up etc. Overall the machine is not used continuously for a 3 to 4 days time.

This problem is been highlighted through Customer care No. and given humpty no. Of complaints. People come from XECLL CARE, for our area. The problem will be attended on namesake only after many no. Of follow up calls from our side.
After small corrections the problem will highlight once again after 3 to 4 days. Till today we have raised 25 to 30 times of complaints. The problem is not analyzed properly and corrected once for all. The People normally come from XCELL CARE after raising the complaint by 7 days after many follow up calls and also not attend the problem correctly. Now all the complaint has been raised, the same been extended to 25 days, till today the problem is not been solved.
Because of the same, we have a big fight within our family members and totally disturbed because of the same.
And also the people we recommended to buy this M/C all working very good and they have no problem in the Machine.

So, Kindly consider this as the priority and do the needful in correcting the Machine once for all. IF not pls replace us the Machine.

I purchased one micr wave oven from IFB Industries in Nov2008 from delhi (Invice no-DEL/NTS/3262/08-09 dt.19/11/08). After great persuation demonstrater came and installed the unit but it did't work.Ilodged many complaints and sent mailsto the company but all proved futile.
Ithink IFB has downgraded his product quality and moreover no body is ready to listen to customers. Now I would like to advice all my frinds and colleagues not to go for IFB products.

i had purchased senorita plus 5kg on oct 5 2008, to show demo it took guysfor 4-5 days to come and we had problem of machine not working inspite of several complaints no one turned up. after repeated followup guy came and changed the mother board and still the problem was not solved we had the water from the machine leaking, yet no solution was arrived. ifb guys donot have perfectly trained service guys not even one guy who can identify and solve problems in one shot .Even if they do attaend they go back saying there is no spares-model failure

So, Kindly consider this as the priority and do the needful in correcting the Machine once for all. IF not pls replace us the Machine.

I bought Senator 6 kg from Arvindra Electronics, Chandigarh. Machine was good for few months but all of a sudden heavy vibrations started. After few complaints technician showed up and told me that he fixed it. Now it has gone worst. It moves from one place to another (heavy vibrations). I have complained twice now but nobody has turned up so far.I am really getting frustrated with this machine and IFB's lousy customer service.

Yes I agree, I too had the same experience. I bought IFB 5.5 digital in March 2009. The machine vibrates heavily and shifts its place. The screws of the balancing ring loosened due to vibration and the broke off. Ultimately through repeated follow ups (over a month) the machine was replaced. But even now the new machine also keeps vibrating and shifting around. we now use it like a semi automatic machine .ie we use the machine to wash and then we dry using our hands. There seems to be some basic fault in their design, installation and manufacture and hence they have such poor quality of products. I have already discourged most of my friends to stop purchasing IFB and I sincerey hope that the company goes bankrupt and stops cheating us people with such mediocore products.
my ifb dishwasher which was purchased in bombay was functioning perfectly well but after coming to kolkata I didnt get a single authorised person who is dedicated to the company to come and repair my dishwasher(model name:zephyr) .service people had come once, they dont have time to wait for the full cycle of one hour and see the final washing which is extremely irritating.the final phase of the washing testifies the health of the machine .no one picks up the phone in the service centre.can anybody guide me where is the service centre in south kolkata ?i am planning to change my dishwasher as well as my washing machine which is of IFB make due to the poor service.

My microoven is not working and i have lodged several complaints in your Tolfree number as well as the service centre since the last 3 weeks. Last week a service technician comes, tells that a component needs to be replaced which he will do on 7th. Feb...Alas!! today is 13th. Every time the tolfree number conveys that the complain has been forwarded to the service centre and the service centre says that they are looking into the issue and will revert...Revert is a word not there in IFB's dictionary i believe now. I have never encountered such bad service with any of my home appliances...can someone help and assure services...i am not demanding any compensations...plz.
I purchased sonarita washing machine at Jaipur in Jan 2009 with extende warrantee untill Jan.2013. Machine worked OK untill Sept. 2011 but from Oct.2011 the machine giving frequent problem of heavy vibrations, Knocking sound and tilting tendency.The problem was once attended in Oct.2011 but same problem repeated in early. Nov.2011. The machine is under Breakdown now. I donot know what to do. The service people at Jaipur are of very poor attitude. Only God help the company servive

Very Poor Response
I had purchased a 7 Kg Digital washing machine on 11/12/2008 vide receipt No 7164. On 22/07/2009 I took an annual maintenance contract from 11/12/2010 to 10/12/2012 and extended warranty for the same period. My customer Code is 1710914.

Ever since the machine has been purchased, it has not been working properly and stops on its own. Several complaints in this regard have been lodged with the Customer Care. The persons who come to attend the complaints from the service centre say that this is due to low water pressure. However, all other models of the machine work properly. I have got the water pressure checked and it is not low. Apparently, this problem is due to a manufacturing defect and is being faced only in the 7 Kg digital machine and not in the manual models.

I wrote about this to the head offcie in Kolkata and the Office in NOIDA, but there has been no response.

Incidentally, during the last three years the PCB has been changed three times. Since it was in extended warranty, I did not have to pay for this. But after 10/12/2012, I am told it will cost me about Rs. 8000. We have two other machines in the family (Senator 6 Kg) and they are working just fine. Apparently, only the 7 Kg digital models have this problem

It is requested that the machine may either be replaced with a 6 Kg Senator, which is sturdier. Alternately, the cost of the machine refunded.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I booked one front loading washing machine at International Trade fair at Kolkata (beside science city auditorium) on December 2010 or January 2011 and I paid Rs. 5000/- as advance. That after few days said washing machine was delivered and I paid the balance consideration money to them and they gave me the bill for the same. Now the said machine has some problem and the staff of your service center demanding the bill which is actually misplaced/lost.
Please tell me from where I may get the duplicate bill for the same.

    We had purchased a new IFB washing machine ELENA in March 2007 from M/s. Viva Electronics, Apna Bazar J.P. Road, Andheri (West). This machine gave us trouble in August 2007 (within 5 months) and it was set right by the IFB service mechanic. This machine has again started giving trouble and it has completely stopped since the last three weeks. This machine is still under 2 year warranty and hence we contacted Mr. Dilip of Viva Electronics, who asked us to contact Mr. Amar Bharati, every time we were told that there is nothing to worry and our machine would be set right in a day or two. On regularl daily multiple follow ups, we were given the complaint number after one week. After that Mr. Amar Bharati told us to contact Mr. Vishwajeet at BKC office. We contacted him and gave him the complaint No.[protected] and although he promised to personally look into the matter, we regret to inform you that till date and each single day we get the reply from him that the service mechanic will definitely come today and that we should not move out of the house.

    This has resulted in TOTAL DISTRUST and faith in IFB Brand. Our earlier IFB washing machine did not give us trouble for 17 years but this machine quality is totally trash. We have taken a vow that in our lifetime we shall never purchase any IFB product and also tell our family and friends to do the same.

    The entire episode has angered us and we have now decided to get the machine repaired from outside and submit the bill to IFB for payment.

    I 100% agree with the complaint lodged by Ms Lalita. IFB brand is loosing value as their products have poor quality and the service quality is pathetic.
    It is 100% correct. We also brought IFB elina model on the 9th of October 2008, at the NEXT show room, Subedar pet in Nellore in andhrapradesh. While buying they told that service is excellent with in 24 hours after filing a complaint everything will be fixed. and also they told that after two days Engineers come from IFB franchise Tirupathi to explain how to use the machine. I came to bangalore because I stay at bangalore.

    Till the four days nobody come to home. My father contacted the NEXT show room owner regarding the issue, after two days one guy has come and he dont know anything about the IFB washing machine. whater our parents asking the question, the answer from him was dont know, dont know.. simply, after that he stikes the gaurenty card and phone numbers with the pen without noticing us and packed the product- the reason was our parents asked things to explain.

    Again my father (I am in bangalore ) went to shop owner Mr. Narasimha rao at nellore and asked the explanation about the issue, he reacted politely and told that within two days we will send some other service person. we waited for 6 days, no body comes to my home, so far almost 16 days passed but we are just praying the product at home without using it. My father and mother completly dissapointed about this and they felt that I completly wasted the Rs16000/-. not only that relatives who were comming to home they started asking about machine, but parents dont know how to explain it, when my parents told with them we still waiting for 16 days for the IFB engineers, the relatives are laughing at us. Consequences of these things the communication between me and my father disturbed when the time I came to know about the issue.

    I strongly decided to take action on IFB and I called Mr Narasimha Rao the Next show room own at nellore where we bought the product, asked him strongly he has given a number which belongs to IFB engineer Mr. Sreenivas Tirupathi. I called to that number and asked explanation. He did not reply properly, and again I called Mr. Narasimha rao and gave the time frame to him, within that time your executive has to come my home and has to explain all things how to use it. The next day one guy came from tirupati, he came and told again there are some things need fixed those will cost again 2000 rupees (At the time of buying either shop boys or owner did not noticed those things when I asked thrice the question repeatedly) and explained about the machine usage and he told that I will send other service boy tomarrow he will come and fix all the things. My father and mother asked him can we use the machine now, he told yes and left the home.

    When my parents loaded and start the machine it was started shaking terrible means machine jumping suddently some times. Next day I called the Mr. Narashimha rao - Next show room owner at Subedar pet nellore. he told that sir you asked service people to explain, We sent, again asked him, the person who came to home he told that we will send some other to fix remain parts but no service boy has come to home what about this.

    Mr. Narasimha rao has given service engineer BHARANI who has come to home to explain and told that I will send some body to fix all the neccessary parts. I called Bharani shen asked him where is the guy, no body hasn't come to fix remaining parts why you people not taking responsibility he started scolding me, he is not willing to listen my words he keep on talking without listening my words not only that he is blaming that "You are creating lot of mental tention to me" why are you calling me, alredy I filed the complaint services people has come to serve. I again asked when they will come to my home, his response for that question was when want to come then we will come.

    Then I decide to go for consumer forum. I contacted the Nellore district consumer forum judge and explained things what happend. He told file case on these two Narasimha rao and Bharani against their bad services. I decided to file the case IFB company along with these two dealers.

    I am requesting all the people who want to buy IFB products please dont buy even the product is good they dont have good service centers arount the world.

    I am requesting all the people who were betrayed by the IFB in all over india. We all have to unite to bring down the sales of IFB all over the world by spreading these bad services in the internets to the friends.

    Please do the following thing, we suffered alot by IFB, we know the value of money, every is earning in such way except the complanies like IFB. We have to make the people aware of these things so that they can avoid this thing from their home needs permanently.

    steps need to take.

    1. Create a message with what happend to you clearly along with the shop names and the people who involved in the trasactions with addresses.

    2. Daily spend half an hour on internet and send to all the email ids and all the review web sites and post it where ever it is possible.

    3. It can defently damage their sales all over india even in the abraod also.

    4. No other person should bothered like us by the IFB bloody cheeters.

    5. If it is possible we all combindly give publicity in the hindu for a week against IFB.

    I am going to create community in the orkut with the name
    "IFB-customer is a goat to us". Please join in this forum and add your complaints in this also, because now a days so many people living with Orkut.
    Mr. Sudhakar and his parents, should learn how to use the washing machine. Most Indian machines dont have an anti shake circuitry, or unbalance sensor incorporated in the system, so will tend to vibrate sometimes violently if the clothes are unbalanced at the time of the spin cycle. This is not a manufacturing defect, but a flaw in the design.
    All plumbing should be completed prior to installing a new machine, this is the owners responsibility and not that of IFB. If the Machine is not working, Sudhakars parents should read the troubleshooting section of the manual, or have someone read it to them and explain before calling the technician for service.
    Mr. Narasimha Rao is the business man that owns the IFB agency, and is not directly concerned, or even remotely bothered with service, now that he has already collected his commission., so you should contact IFB service division.
    The original IFB service technician is sick so they sent the delivery boy to pacify you. They have only trained him to see if the power switch is on, as most first time Washing Machine users call the company to complain the machine is broken when actually the electricity department is conducting load shedding, or they dont know that the switch is turned off. If the power switch is on, and the Machine still doesnt work, he is only be harassed by the owners of the machines to do what he was never trained to do or is clearly not his job.
    Please ask your sonto draft further letters as poor English wont get you many listeners. Also IFB doesnt have time to provide a full time person to look after your machine. That is your job.
    Worst sevice interms of competence skill and courtisy.They nevear set right things in 3 months I have very bitter experience 3 times within the span of 6 months

    I had the privilege to go through your messages & also the responses against it, I Believe, you must have documented all of the above said.

    Please visit the nearest Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, in your district & seek the Registrar's help to file a Consumer Complaint & seek redressal of your grievances with adequate compensation for Harassments & also indemnification for Economic & Financial damages.

    Can you believe, I was in a similar situation of receiving shoddy services from one of the reputed bank, who had intentionally failed to pay the timely interest on FDRs when due, [ I said intentionally because on an earlier occasion, I had dragged them to The Consumer Court for extending deficient services with harassment] . Within 6 (six) months with say 6 trips, I found it was rewarding, they compensated me 10 (Ten) times the amount I was seeking for.

    Moral of the story: This only goes to show, that, Please follow the directions of the law it will be rewarding ALL ways.

    Yes, you may open a site / publish, for extending assistance to all those effected as is being done by me out of the excessive funds received, thereby trying to complete my mission with a vision of "Comfort the Afflicted & Afflict the Comfortable / Troublemaker" by following the due process of the law.

    this is regarding the complaint of ifb washing machine
    i complained for it on 15th of july and the complain number is[protected]by the name of sayed arshad hashim despite several reminders and so many calls -there is no response fvrom them -i already have the amc of the machine -i would like to say this is the worst kind of company which doesnt have a service backup-

    IFB — No Service backup

    My IFB washing machene Senator model is under AMC. Lodged a service call to IFB's customercare on[protected] and the request is registered under No. 4375225 . On 14th a service guy came and checked the machene and promissed to come back the next day with required spares. Even today[protected]after 13 days) nobody has turned up. Calls made to IFB customercare is of no use and nothing happens. They give few contact numbers of officials and nobody picks up any of those numbers. Even if somebody pickups no proper response is given. It is very frustrating to be without a washing machene.

      Water not draining out while spinning

      complain No. 2268293 dated 07/10/2008...water not getting drained. Engineer turned up after registering complain with ur toll free no., and reports that the motor is not working properly and is to be replaced and the cost will be Rs. 2650/-. I have to report that dryer is working but water not getting drained. The water gets drained when the load is of bed sheets, but when the cloths is the load water not getting drained.       I have paid for an IFB washing machine at Rythm House NOIDA on 23 Nov 08.
      Spoken personally to Mr Gaurav Saxena representative of IFB at Delhi a number of times but machine not installed till date.
      It seems to me that your franchise and representative are frauds. They are just not bothered about customers.
      Kindly do something before I approach a Cosumer Court.
      If IFB cannot meet a customer's requirement, why are you in the market ?
      If your representative is useless why not throw him out and cut your costs in to-day's recession.

      We have IFB washing M/C.6kg automatic. I want to book complaint. I contact your co. authourised representative on telephone at AHMEDABAD ( YES Agency as well as Veer services ).       This regarding my IFB Washing Machine Model: Senorita Plus 5 Kg & my Permanent Customer No. is 2220855. The complaint no. 6033208 dtd. 10/03/2011 has not been resolved even after repetitive reminders. With lot of persuasion one technician from New Delhi- Chhatarpur Service Centre came on 15/03/2011 and after checking it was told there was a problem with the on-off switch and the same will be replaced positively on 16/3/11 but till date nobody turned-up neither the problem is resolved. In Delhi service centre your service executive Ms. Gitanjali (ph. no.[protected] & Ms. Rakhee (ph. no. [protected]) even refused to acknowledge our phone calls. I regret to state that still the problem is unresolved. We are facing extreme problems due to non-working of the washing machine. Please resolve the problem immediately.
      I complained about my IFB washing machine Supremo Deluxe on your toll free No.[protected] on 17.5.2011 saying that the heater was not functioning. I was given my complaint No. as 6374794. I was told that within 48 hours my complaint would be attended to, but no one turned up.I again made a complaint on 19.5.2011 and I was promptly informed again that my complaint would be attended in 48 hours time.       I wish to mention here that I have maintained AMC with you for the last 11years, but of late, your lack of response to complaints as well as the quality of service has hit the rock bottom. Its very clear from the complaints posted here that there is general dissatisfaction about the poor after sales service provided by you. My bitter experience of the last couple of years has forced me to decide not to purchase any more IFB products. I really wish some drastic corrective steps are taken immediately as otherwise, the customers will be forced shift their loyalties to other brands.

        Sir,

        I bought a IFB Senorita Plus washing machine this year. It worked fine for few months, after that it started giving troble.After repairing the machine twice, I was advised by your service people to put IFB stabiliser to solve the problem. Based on their recommendation I bought a IFB stabiliser and fixed it.
        But the proble persists and in fact now the machine is not working. I am desperately trying to reach the dealer as there is no service centre available in this place (Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu). Since there is no response from the dealer I am sending this mail to get things to move.

        Since this is the second IFB machine in my family I hope to get better treatment. I also believe that this email definetly work and I will get the service immediately atleast in next 24 hours.

        sir, I am rajasekhar from pondycherry we bought "SENORITA DX " ON or before deepavali. From the buying date itself it is not working properly.         Sir, one earnest request ..please change the executives at your service centre in chembur, mumbai...My machine (AW 0806) is not functioning since april 2, 2011..that was the first day i lodged the complaint . one day a technician came to see the machine and told me its a problem with the PCB..and that it would take two dayweeks for the PCB to arrive at their service centre..its been two months...nothing fixed up...i keep callin the customer care as well as three executives Mahendra Kumar ([protected]), manjunath ([protected]) and ramesh ([protected])..Initially they used to take the call and make false commitment that they would without failure send the technician the very next day...which they never did.. Offlate they have stopped taking calls and if at all by mistake they pick up the fone, they hand it to the receptionist at the service centre and make her speak to me... till today my problem has not been fixed... These guys are clever enough to make me sign the AMC and now keep me sinking in water..

        Is this your way of handling a problem? this is how you serve a customer?why has my problem not been attended to till date?? are you basically into the business of duping people and making money? Shame on you..the brand and your service

          I have purchased a IFB washing machine(SENATOR - 6Kg) on August 2008 and it has not been working since day one. I have called up and registered many complaints to the IFB customer care centre as well as the local IFB service centre regarding this matter but the matter has not been sorted out nor has any technican approached us so far. I feel that i have been cheated by the company as i have paid a sum of Rs. 27, 000 for a washing machine that does not work.

          IFB/ Senator 6KG — No response from company and service centre

          My washing machine is not working properly, Regarding the complaint I called to IFB service call centre on:
          1) 29/05/2009 complaint no.-3083286
          2) 07/06/09 complaint no-3114556
          But no complaint was processed for further service for the above two complaints. In addition to these I called once again on 13/06/09 but didn't get any satisfied response.

          Ever after so many compalints and days of waiting I haven't got any reply from the IFB service providers yet although my senator is in warranty period.
          Customer care services of the company are virtually non existant.Poor show, IFB!!

          LEADER OR A ROGUE — LEADER OR A ROUG

          Hi I am the native of chennai. I would like to say something about the public nuisance created by worst political people. This is almost common in our daily life seeing the ruthless behavior of some political parties in our country. Myself and four of my family members in three two wheeler’s went for mangadu temple. On the return we met this worst scenario’s.

          In Tamilnadu especially the chennai we can coin a very small political party named Pudhiya Bharatham Katchi founded by Late. Poovai Murthi. His brother jegan murthi now the acting leader of this political party. This party celebrated September 12th on the remembarance of late poovai murthi by remitting blood camp were held at Karaima nagar (the way from anakaputhur to kunrathur – exactly Poonamallee route).

          I have seen many blood camps operated politely. This poovai’s blood camp was totally different. High volume speakers utilized through the road the function was held. Traffic was totally blocked. Near to the camp a police helpline will be there. Eventhough the traffic helpline booth the traffic was not controlled. The party vehicles almost parked on the roads and they d’nt bather about the pulic inconvienience. The party drivers even drove the car very rash to reach the function spot. The party leader who is in acting role and tied up with the acting government. The leader knows everything and why can’t they ruled out the discipline. If he agrees the violation of rule how he can serve public. We can see all the walls pasted his photos and his brother photos.

          Where is the country going?

          Where is the question of morality?

          How this sort of people elected by a public?

            we bought one brand new ifb digital washing machine from ifb factory at bangalore in month of february 2008 and was installed by march 2008 along with one microwave oven, oven working satisfactorly but washing machine is making lot of noise and vibration once it is put on, we have complained atleast 50-60 times to their toll free number and simply getting complaint number but no response and service person visits, we finally now complaining here, and wish to take issue to consumer forum

              I purchased a brand new IFB washing machine in August 2008, from the day one it has not been working. I have have have many complaints to the IFB customer care and service center but they have not bothered to set right the problem.               I complained on 22.9.08 and got the complain number 2207403 on your 24x7 helpline number . Your technician came and said that the cabinet has to be replaced.               Sub : Regarding the trouble in my IFB fully-automatic washing machine ‘DIVA’ model.

              Dear Sir,

              As per my discussion regarding above with your Quality Head, Mr. V.S. Parihar (at Bhopal), the case is still pending for your kind consideration.

              Although you would be aware of the case, but still I would like to bring the same to your kind knowledge that my washing machine tears cloths. Ordinary/thick cloths torn like a cut and hosiery/vests, etc. get holed in a group.

              Almost none of you executives could detect the defect, even after 6 months’ continuous every type of check up on-site/off-site. I know such cases do not arise in branded item (that’s why people buy branded), but rarely they do, and this could be one of them.

              In fact, the problem was from initial but I observed it later and since then I have been complaining the same since last one year, but still the problem persists. I’ve got fad up with the problem because my cloths are being damaged, and the matter is still not being taken seriously. I may approach for my rights to consumer forum.

              I request you to please send my cloths back (which have been taken by your executives with a promise to return within 10 days or payment will be given, but even after 1½ months lapsed neither has been done).               The first complain was lodged on 3rd July '09 and today it is 21 - 8-09

              We have visited the service center and made several request. The enginers just come in and make some correction only to face the same problem.
              We have tried our best to contact the senior service engineer Mr Rajendra Mali but he does not now pick up the phone. If we manage to contact him his standard answere is we will take care of it today

              I had purchased a IFB Washing Machine- Executive Plus during August 2000, and I have been taking AMC's regularly from the expiry of warranty period. For the past two years the service offered by JS Engineers is very very worst, and now for the past one month the machine is not working. They had informed me that they have to change the drum and the cabinet also.

              They had informed me that I have to change the cabinet, which would cost around Rs 3000/- and they will change the drum, I have been kicked from pillar to post, and still the machine is not working till today.

              Today somebody has brought one cabinet, and they found that the cabinet was not suitable, and they have brought a used drum for replacement, and they have dismantled the machine and it is lying as this is a work shop (in my house). I had already spent around Rs 1500/- during 23rd July 2009, and still the machine is not rectified.

              This is to inform you that the AMC expires during Feb 2010.

              I am regretting why I had purchased an IFB Machine, and I dont want to change my machine to IFB and to go in for some other brand, which offers good service.

              I want to send my complaint to the consumer forum, as I am not getting any proper response from your side.

              I have bought a IFB washing machine model-Elite about a two-three months ago and after the usage of 1 month the washing machine has got a problem and the service people came and said that the board has to be replace.So, I told okay and they told they will replace the board in next 2 days but the did not.When I phone them they say that they will do it tomorrow tomorrow and tomorrow but the haven't still come.I gave the complaint on June 12 but they did not come still.I had another IFB washing Machine model-Digital.It had also got many problems that replacing the board, baring, etc.I am not at all happy with the service and appliances they sell.I am really disappointed with the service and appliances they make.Sometimes, when I call them they just cut the phone and I am very disappointed with IFB.
              We possess an IFB Digital Washing Machine. It is the top of the line machine and I spent good money to purchase it. it wasn't even one year old when the hot wash stopped working. I kept running it on a shorter program hoping it might start working on its own. Finally, when it didn't get alright we lodged a complaint and a technician came over to see the machine. He told us the "heater board" would need to be changed and this would cost me app. Rs 5000/- we told him we would pay whatever it costs as long as he got us the proper bill from the company. He said he could not assure that and for that we should speak with the company franchisee for Gurgaon, Mr. Bhatnagar whose shop is located at DLF Qutab Plaza, DLF City Phase 1.

              We called him up and his reply was that there is no way the company bill would be shown to us, we would receive only the invoice from his service centre. When we reiterated that we should not be overcharged he said the change of the heater board would cost app. Rs 2500/-. We told him to go ahead and get it changed, thereon he said we should pay him the money in advance only then would he get our complaint attended to. Even though we agreed no one came up to service our complaint.

              After being frustrated for more than a week with a faulty machine we decided to go and meet Mr. Bhatnagar at his shop only to be shocked by the response from him. The moment we entered he started shouting at us, saying "your complaint will be attended to as and when we have the time and also make sure you give me the money in advance before I order the part". This really surprised me since we also own another IFB clothes washing machine and dish washer and whenever we've had problems with these they have been repaired without any difficulty and without paying any advance. We also own many other refrigerators and freezers of various companies which have been repaired without any difficulty. I would really appreciate if my machine could be fixed at the earliest possible.

                We recently had to report a problem with our IFB washing machine (Supreme range) to the call centre and the local service centre. They came after many reminders, told us that the drum needs replacement, charged us for the complete set of repairs and also convinced us to by a 2 year free-parts and labour AMC for about Rs. 4700 (excluding the Rs. 4500 or so they charged us for the current drum replacement and associated parts). Almost from the first time we used the machine post-repair, it started making even more noice than before the repair. We again had to follow up rigourously at Bangalore and locally here in NOIDA before they came again, admitted that they had put in the wrong drum, and then after a few days came with a new drum and installed it.

                One would have thought this would be the end of our problems! No such luck! The machine now started leaking water and again could not be used. Then started another series of constant calls and assurances that someone would come and look at the problem. I just got off the phone with a gentleman called "Yusuf" in their Bangalore call centre, who AGAIN promised that he was going to ask his Manager to talk to the NOIDA branch service guys and have someone attend to us promptly! He refused to give the name of the person who would attend the call or by when he would come. Interestingly, the complaint number[protected] that we had been given a couple of weeks back was still showing as "Assigned" in their system! I asked Yusuf if such complaints that were not resolved within a specified time were not escalated to senior management - he had no answer to this.

                The company bosses better wake up and smell the coffee! Their claims of adding 100 happy customers every minute (this is what I heard in their recorded message while waiting for someone to pick up the phone at the call centre!) ring hollow. We are very upset with this whole process of customer support and are recording our acute displeasure and frustration through this medium. We encourage other customers who are unhappy to come out and register their complaints. WE CAN NOT LET IFB GET AWAY WITH SUCH CALLOUS DISREGARD OF THEIR AFTER SALES RESPONSIBILITIES!

                Hello!
                Please refer my e-mail of 14 Dec 08 and I was allotted ticket No 2548688 dt 15 Dec 08. The problem has still not been resolved and I am still facing the following difficulties on my Washing M/C. I am repeating the problems/difficulties:
                1. Proper cleaning/washing is not taking place, as the traces of foam of the washing powder still coming when we open the main loading door of the M/C.
                2. The complete drying of the clothes (whatever was being done initially) and in fact the water is dripping as and when the clothes are being hung on the rope.
                3. The Water outlet extension pipe needs to be changed.
                I tried to BOOK the complaint at DELHI CALL CENTRE at[protected] at 1432 hrs on 19 Dec. 08 but there was no reply and I could not book the complaint.
                However, I was highly impressed and please (for your collecting information about the satisfaction level of the customers) when I got an SMS from (Mob # [protected]), asking for SMSing my comments, as YES or NO. But the happiness was very short lived, since the SMS wrongly quoted that my problem has been resolved, whereas the problem still exists. Also even after my SMSing my reply as ‘NO’, nobody has bothered to call me up and ask for reasons of my dissatisfaction.
                You may like to intervene and resolve the issue.

                  I've already committed above that I would recommend IFB washing machine because of its excellent performance and hassle free maintenance.

                  As there is no option in your official website for complaints, I wish to add the same here. I request the concerned to help me and sort out my problem immediately.

                  1) Job code no.1540078...replacing of pump completed on 15th Feb 2008.
                  2) Job code no. 1604484 dated 05/03/2008...water not getting drained. No engineer turned up. After repeated calls to ur toll free no., engineer attends the call after 3 days and reports that the motor is not working and has to be replaced and the cost for which is Rs.3000/-. He suggested that if AMC is taken at this point, I will have to pay only Rs.2673 towards AMC and the motor will be replaced after 40 days (he will be giving a ‘Machine checked and found OK’ status. After a gap of a week of 10 days, I have to report about the dryer not working and for this it will take 40 days for replacement). I repeatedly requested him to replace the motor within a week or max of 10 days. But he said he cannot go against the laid company rules. So this job number was never closed and only after reminding your customer care, it was closed by the call centre people forcibly.
                  3) Today ie., 30/5/2008, your engineer visited me upon my request as I was ready to take the AMC. When I heard the terms of AMC, I was irritated. When I discussed with him how AMC should work, he did not have answers and he said he is not interested to proceed with AMC formalities with me.
                  4) As soon as he left my residence, I booked another job with your call center bearing the no. 39450 requesting for AMC.

                  I now request the authorities to kindly do the needful which you think is the best.

                  I purchased in March 2005 IFB senorita plus for Rs.18, 000/- and no worth for buying machine. With in 3 years 3-4 times repaired.

                  Now water is coming from front door. We are not using regularly also. Once in week we use. One day we switched on machine and started doing some other work. I observed after 1/2 hour room was full of water. Water is not going thru outlet through front door lot of leakage. To remove that water I struggled 1 hour. It is not No.1 or world calss washing machine. Now I given for complaint for repair they need 48 hours.

                  Suggestion to new buyers Please don't buy IFB.

                    I HAVE PURCHASED DISHWASHER APPROX. 6-8 MONTHS BACK IN FARIDABAD, WITH IN 10 DAYS THERE WAS A PROBLEM, THEY REPLACED . I WAS TERRIFIED, I TOOK AN EXTENDED WARRANTY OF 2 YEARS . BUT THE FATE IS I AM CALLING THEM FROM THE LAST 3 MONTHS, MAILING THEM, SENDING THE REMINDER THROUGH MAIL FROM THE LAST 7 DAYS . EARLIER IT WAS A VERBAL CONVERSATION ON PHONE WITH MR. Now from last 25 days everyday I am begging to IFB SERVICE CENTERS for new kit of powder and rinse aid. Every day I am wasting half an hour for follow up. Each of them, representative gives new numbers from here and there, I called from Bangalore Service Center to Ahmedabad branch office, and every day they are saying foolish statement of wait for 2 days, wait for 2 days.If such a situation continues, then there is no meaning of Dishwasher. I have to again go for "KAMWALI". I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND, MACHINE OF 25000RS IS RECEIVED WITHING TWO DAYS OF PURCHASE ORDER AND ITS POWDER OF ONLY 250RS REQUIRES MONTHS TO BE DELIVERED. VERY VERY POOR AFTER SALE SERVICE. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF MONOPOLY OF THIS DETERGENT AND RINSE AID.

                    Please dont buy IFB products in yr lifetime. I made mistake in purchasing IFB dishwasher 4 months ago and last 3 months we are washing our utilities using servant maid. I lost Rs 25K as well as peace of mind. IFB products useless in standard and quality. Also they use very low grade materials to built their product. IFB service is one of the very worst and we can award them for worst service provider.
                    I have similar experience. I have a neptune dish washer. They took two weeks to install after purchase. the service people were rude in replying the queries. Now that I need to buy the watersoftening salt and wash powder, they say i have to buy at least 5 packets for delivery. And their phone never works.
                    well, I'm never going to refer IFB stuff to anyone...Just hate that name now...they tell us to buy contracts for servicing...and they never come to do some servicing..and when The contract is over...they come back again and tell us to get another contract for the servicing..and they disappear again...I mean what the hell is that? I went to service center on Monday..They told us that they'd come to our home next day...and as usual they are not here...The hell I'll wait for that again? I'm busy with my own stuff too...                     IFB Dishwasher — No service despite AMC

                    Despite several reminders and followup with IFB on dishwasher complaints there is not service provided even though they have collected full AMC contract amount.

                    Not sure if Indian Judicial system has any solution to this - if not then we will prove to be a truly third world country.

                    I had purchased dish washer through order no.71603.from IFB appliances, but I have not received free gift hamper of IFB as was promised.more than 20 days have gone.
                    Will some body tell me where from I can get the powder, salt and softener etc (other than the IFB ).
                    I am thoroughly disappointed with IFB's service overall. Very poor installation service and improper instructions on regular maintenance. I realized this only after my most recent breakdown of my dishwasher. I agree with everybody's comments that IFB has the worst record for service. Even after repeated calls, all I hear is that the part has been ordered, and that it will get done. The technician who I call passes off the blame to someone else and gives me somebody's number. Overall, everyone is rude and doesn't care about providing good service. It is close to 2 wks since my dishwasher broke and still there's no sight of any service. I must say that the technician did come to take an initial look, but has not turned up to fix the problem. I wish I had never bought an IFB product. Moreover, there is no central contact number anywhere on their site. The register a complaint and feedback sections never function. I am wondering if they have been deliberately disabled. My advice to all out there: Never buy anything from IFB.
                    The IFB service is really bad, the engineers just dont respond at all. Would not recommend IFB for this reason.

                    IFB Dishwasher — The worst aftercare ever

                    I have had a complaint with IFB for 6 weeks now. I call roughly twice a week (moving to daily from now) and am always told someone will call me. Nobody does. I have never experienced such appalling customer service in my life. They even tried telling me that the dishwasher was not under warranty at first. However as there is a 2 year warranty and I purchased it new and have only been in India for one year... They have finally accepted this after I offered to show them my passport to show when I arrived. Outrageous doesn't even come close and I am wasting so much time on this.

                    Even i agree with other complaints. Service is very poor specially in New Mumbai and there technicians are not qualified and trained each time when i complaint about the drying system each technician gave me different problems finally i stopped calling them. Even i[censored] order for rinse aid/salt or detergent one need to wait for a long time so i prefer to buy it in bulk after sales service is very POOR. Even I would never suggest anyone to go for IFB PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY IFB PRODUCT
                    I too have an AMT but of no use as customer service is not responding. Is there any IFB office in Bangalore where one can go and talk instead of talking over phone.
                    Well it is now 17 November and IFB have yet to fix the problem with the dishwasher, or even call me to say they are coming. I have never experienced anything like this. If you are considering buying an appliance, do yourself a favour and DON'T buy anything from IFB. No customer service, no culpability and the machine is still under warranty for 6 more months! Possibly the worst company/products out there.

                    I possess an IFB Dishwasher for the past three years. I have been having continuous problems with the performance of this machine since the last year.

                    The biggest problem is the service that the service centre in Pune provides. The issues are as follows:

                    1. Lack of professionalism and bad response time. Lot of follow up required even for their attention though I have signed an Annual Maintenance Contract
                    2. Lack of knowledge of the product by the service personnel
                    3. Lack of availability of the necessary spare parts
                    4. Lack of availability of the consumables for the dish washer

                    I would like to register this complaint with the consumer forumn to ensure better quality service in neat future.

                    IFB — No customer service or response despite contacting them for one month

                    We live in Chennai.
                    We had purchased an IFB washing machine 2 years ago. The product has crossed the warranty period. However, it is under Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC).
                    We are having a problem with the washing from the past one month. We are contacting the customer care/service center from the past one month. They say they have registered the complaint and will be sending a mechanic to repair the fault every time we contact them. There has been no response from them. We have contacted all the people from the lowest to highest level in their company but each one points a finger at the other and there is no action taken. This is going on from the past one month. They promise us they will be sending technicians every time we call them within 24 hrs but no one turns up. Because of this, we are forced to cancel our programmes and wait for those people but in vain.
                    So, I want the money back which we had paid for the AMC and a proper compensation.
                    P.S: If I have ever given this complaint , it is out of sheer frustration. This might be a big issue to some and a small issue to some others but from my position, it has been a big headache. I have only been running my phone bills.
                    IFB is a good product but their service and attitude of service people is pathetic. despite having AMC, problems have not been attended and calls are not being attended. RIDICULOUS servise set up.

                    On 27th August 2010 I had purchased a dishwasher and the dryer was not functioning. After lots of persuation, it was replaced on 5th September 2010. Again the same problem experienced. Mechanic has very limited knowledge about electronic and electricity. Mechanic was telling that the plug point was not earthened that is why the dryer is not functioning. This reason very difficult to understand. Again complaint lodged for replacement, God knows what will happen. The customer service particularly at Delhi is very very poor.

                    It is surprising that a company like IFB has such useless dealers/service centres who NEVER respond to your calls for the detergent. I am in Pune and for the past over two weeks the dealer has been promising to deliver the powder within "two days"...and I am still waiting.

                    Dec 4, 2011: We have an IFB Zephyr dishwasher purchased on 8-7-2007. It is under renewed AMC. At 4 p.m., I lodged a complaint on[protected]Complaint No.7772257, ID No. 1109473) that the dishwasher was not functioning. I was told that within 24 hours, a Serviceman would visit.
                    Dec 5, 2011: Two Servicemen visited at 2 p.m..Spent 10 mins and said Control Board needs to be replaced, will return when the part becomes available. Said we can use the machine in cold wash but had no time to demonstrate how!!!. Later, we tried to do a cold wash. It did not work. Phoned the call centre who asked I speak to Mr. Michael on[protected] or 24475969. I tried but Mr. Michael was not well, so had gone home. No one could give me a satisfactory response.
                    Dec.6, 2011:9.45 a.m. spoke to Mr. Michael, who said he would phone me in a half-hour. He did, and promised that the part would be changed today. Welcome News when others in the set up were saying that it may take 2 or 3 days! They even said that the Company only promised a Serviceman's visit in 24 hours and no commitment when repairs would be completed!! Anyway, I was happy to get Mr. Michael's helpful promise that a serviceman would install a new part today.

                    What IFB needs is more Michaels. The only way to improve their Service, which, I agree needs much attention.
                    Service of IFB dishwasher is baddd! Called them several times for supply of powder and service.. NO response!!

                      Machine under AMC, needs motor replacement, pathetic after sales service

                      I reside in Mumbai and bought IFB washing machine 3 years back from Vijay Sales. Vijay Sales raved about their after sales service. For 2 years it was just fantastic, then this year it started giving problems. During the first complaint, I had a harrowing experience with IFB guys in terms of running from pillar to post in getting them to my house to attend the problem. Then came a shocker - machine outdated, needs complete parts replacement....

                      This machine was brought from the dealer M/s Kundan Electronics yelahanka bangalore 64, on 28th jan 08 thie said problem occured during 26.07.08. reported the same to the compilant centre bangalore . The service engineer Mr. Mahdeva ( mobile No. [protected]) visited and said it can be replaced and demended money for the visit, and further replacement. though the machine was under warrenty and only six months old, this was brought to the incharge Mr. Harishi mobile No. [protected] & [protected] and he decline to comment and further it was said thet they will attend the compliant but till 22nd sep 08 no action was taken. Even the dealer from where the machine was purchsed also spoken the service centre many times but no use. sudedenly i found an SMS on my mobile asking for feedback stating that your compliant was resolved. What an wonderful idea. Compliant No. 2007429, motor sl.no.001433. This is an act of arogant adament, that is the service they offer to thier customeres. The authorities concerned may look into this and render needful action to get the defecive parts replaced and to console the service engineers.

                          I had purchased an IFB DIGITAL EX from VIVEKS Limited on 01/01/06. Since then I had been having many problems with the machine. The display used to show errors E06. The technician said the problem was due to clogging, but there was no clogging but he cleaned the PCB.

                          On 28th Dec 2007, we lodged a complaint regarding malfunction due to the E06/04 errors. The technician found the stone holding the drum was cracked. It took about 15 days to get this replaced.

                          On 29th May 2008, the same problem occured. The technician took 15 days to visit, removed the PCB and it started working againg.

                          These issues prove that the machine had problems right from installation.

                          Most recently, I had registered a complaint on 08/09/08 - complaint no.2159893 on the same problem. After repeated calls the complaint is still to be attended. Also, every time I call to follow up my complaint, I am asked to explain my complaint to every other person who attends the call.

                          Now that the warranty is over, the company is forcing us to enter into 2 year AMC. I am not agreeable to this proposal since the same problem was intermittant even during warranty.

                          The explanation from IFB personnel that the PCB failure is due to voltage fluctuation is not correct since I have more sensitive and expensive electronic goods in our house which have not given any failure.

                          Now, I am physically and mentally exhausted all because of the problems created by my IFB washing machine. And I must mention that I had been using IFB washing machine since 1992. I exchanged my IFB machine only to upgrade myself with the latest machine. But I am terribly disappointed with this machine as well as your service. I strongly feel the machine is a faulty one which was delivered to me as a new machine.

                          I don't want any further service of this machine but a replacement of the machine is the only solution for all the agony that I have gone thru the past 2 years. My next course of action would be to approach the leading national dailies and the Consumer Court of India.

                            We are holders of IFB Washing machine Model SUPREMO DELUXE with Sr. No.WTSUPDX B 25327.
                            This machine is under AMC which is valid till 22/06/2009. Upon lodging the complaint for the complaint " Spin Function as well as leakage in the drain pipe line" on 05/08/2008, service personnel had made visit i.e on 06/08/2008 ( Pump was replaced by an old pump). Same problem has occurred again on 01/09/2008.Complaint was lodged through the phone. Complaint No. 2129087. Nobody reported. Again the complaint was lodged on 05/09/2008 withe reference no.2152643. Person attended and in the report, we had mentioned that the machine needs observation. After two days the machine has started giving the same problem. Complaint has been lodged on 17/09/2008 ( Ref. No. 2152643 )for which no response from the local service personnel. This kind of customer service is not expected from the organisation practicing the ISO[protected] Systems.

                            BEWARE OF IFB PRODUCTS AND THINK TEN TIMES BEFORE PURCHASING.COMPANY HAS BAD SERVICE PERSONNEL WHO ARE ARROGANT. WE ARE FACING PROBEMS AT HYDERABAD. AMCs ARE EYE WASH AS SERVICE PEOPLE SHY AWAY WHEN A SITUATION OCCURS WHICH NEEDS MORE ATTENTION AND REPLACEMENT OF PARTS.IT SEEMS THERE IS NO MONITORING MECHANISM TO TRACK THE CALLS.

                            I too have same experience. They have outsourced Service Center to some M S Associates. The M S
                            Associates have unskilled, untrained engineers who are expert in damaging the washing machine. Sameer is an engineer from M S Associates more than 8 compliants in 3 years (You see 8 compliants
                            in 3 years), Changed Drum, Bearings etc. Minted money from me (every visit bill is more than Rs. 1000/-). You escalate to IFB, no use. IFB belives in:

                            "Customer is GOD till product is sold. Once product is sold, Customer is DOG who will chase IFB".

                            I am planning to give up my IFB machine and buy new machine from other company. Any suggesion?

                                Two months back I bought a IFB microwave oven with convection facility (30SC2) from House Full, Nashik and it worked only for a month. I called the number given by housefull and a guy from IFB visited on the same day. He said it requires a part and it would get repaired within a day or two. I waited for ten days nothing happened. Later I called the IFB call center and they gave me a complaint number[protected] and they said it would get repared within 48 hours (now I realised they were joking !!). Nothing happened.. I called them again.. they said same day evening it would get repaired... nothing happened.. i called them again ..same story... Today I got a mobile number from the call center to escalate ([protected]). I called the number and the person who answered the phone said within one hour a technician would visit my place!!! I do not know whether my IFB microwave oven would get repaired or need to use it as a cupboard to store my old stuffs!! They gave me 12 months warrantee.. We used it only for a month and the second month it was not working.. will they extend the warranty period??

                                IFB Microwave Model 30SC2 — Poor Service

                                I have purchased IFB Microwave Model- 30SC2 on 09 Nov 2008 and the same was delivered to me on 10 Nov 2008 vide Invoice NO DEL/NTS/3098/08-09 from Okhla Industrial Area.

                                On Delivery I was not given recipe book. After repeated complaints to Customer care as well as dealer no action was initiated. Now it is very difficult for me to decide whom to approach as no one takes responsibility.

                                IFB MICROWAVE — Poor Service / Management

                                Recently I have purchased IFB Microwave. Dealer made a request for its installation and demonstration. It is more than 2 Weeks now it has not yet been installed. I have personally lodged my complaints several times on their centralised call centre, but nothing fruitful. Since, IFB have franchised after sales services to third party, it is very diffcult to get after sales service done proper and in time. IFB Management is also not bothered to look into the service area where their franchise partner are able to deliver proper after sales service in time to their consumers or not. If it will be like this then nobody can stop in becoming IFB a HISTORY.

                                Microwave oven model 30SC2 — Replacement unit when under warrenty

                                The greatest mistake I have made by purchasing a product of internationally acclaimed DEAF company called IFB.

                                The microwave oven Model No. 30 SC2 (Sl. No. [protected]) was purchased on 19th July 2008. In a weeks time it was observed that the top cover is rusted at the corner. Subsequently, the 1st complaint (Sl. No. 2029959) was lodged on 01 August 2008 for the same defect. The service engineer has checked the machine. Later after a week I was been told by Mr. Jain that the cover will be replaced after receipt of the same from company.

                                Within next 15 days, it was observed that the rotation of the spin table was uneven. I then contacted the service center (Lucky Services) and I was been told that the 2nd complaint has been added in the existing complaint. Since then the machine became the art piece kept in the show case. Again the engineer had visited and inspected the machine. Upon inquiring the status of the complaint I was told by Mr. Jain that the machine will be replaced.

                                Since I have made frequent calls and every time heard the same story of Machine has not received yet. In the month of March 09 the engineer had visited after a routine call by me to replace the motor. The motor he brought was not sealed. The embossed year of manufacture of the motor was 2005. Even the guarantee label was tampered. Any one can make out the motor was repaired. Replacement of the same motor was denied by me. In the month of Jun 09 upon contacted, the Lucky services has told that he is no more the authorized service center for IFB.

                                Is this what the SERVICE customer should expect from an International company????? My Guarantee/Warranty period will be ending on 18th of July 2009.

                                DO I EXPECT ANY ACTION ??????? or do I take the path of consumer court. kindly suggest at the earliest as the warranty period is ending on 18 July 09.

                                I heard IFB service is good so buy 30SC2 product and used only 2 times and something wrong with it.
                                First Month Service Engineer asking money to repair after that call to Service Manager .. he said we will make product working but no actual work started by them
                                Company is in bad phase it seems because to get one part takes 7-8 months...

                                If product is defective no replacement and no repair... If someone know IFB Owner or Corporate Office Address post it.. I am ready to send thier box to them at my own expense

                                AFTER REPEATED COMPLAINS FROM THE LAST 02 MONTHS EVERYBODY RIGHT FROM AREA MANAGER TO TECHNICIAN JUST BYPASSING GIVING LAME EXCUSES. NOBODY HAVING COURTESY TO RING BACK TO THE CONSUMER. FED UP WITH THE SERVICE. REALLY HORRIBLE.
                                No body buy any IFB products. Very-2-2-2 poor service. Nobody attend your complaint. IFB harrassing me from past 20 days. So I request all nobody buy IFB products.                                   I bought Executive Plus machine #122378 in Lucknow on May 24, 2006. Until March 2008, they promptly attended to complaints. I have no problem with the machine, which I am maintaining as per manual and service instructions. It is in excellent condition. They came in May trying to sell their AMC at a prohibitive rate, which I could not afford. I would be better off with a general insurance for machine breakdown that paying such prohibitive rates to IFB contractees. However, I requested their visiting engineer to deliver me four packets of Descal. Having failed to deliver despite reminders for two months, I asked their senior engineer to deliver as I was unable to get through to their call center. After he too failed to deliver, I managed to get through their call center about a fortnight back and booked an order #45917 for just two packets of Descal and informing them of my predicament with the engineers. That too has not helped. Today, I complained online via their feedback and have also booked online the same Descal with FABO. Again, earlier Ariel Ultramatic was the recommended detergent. Last year, Ariel discontinued Ultramatic and came out with Funomatic the soapy smell of which does not leave the clothes and does not seem to have any enzymes worth the name in it. These guys then recommended Heinkomatic, which is no better. Both, Funomatic and Heinkomatic that cost Rs. 150/kg, sticks in the detergent tray. With no proper detergent available in the market for front loading washing machines, I would not advise anybody to purchase a front loading washing machine at this time.
