I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHED A NEW DIGITAL 7KG MACHINE. DUE TO FLUCTUATIONS IN CURRENT I ASKED FOR A STABILIZER WHICH WAS BOUGHTAT MY HOME AND WRONGLY CONNECTED BY THE IFB TECHNICIAN. DUE TO THIS MY MACHINE WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY IT USED TO TAKE 4 TO5 HOURS FOR ONE MACHINE TO WASH CLOTHES THE CLOTHES NEVER USED TO GET WASHED AND SPIN DRY. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY I USED TO GET SHOCK IN MY FULL KITCHEN AREA BECAUSE THE STABILIZER WAS NOT CONNECTED PROPERLY. I CALLED THE IFB SERVICE IN MARGAO-GOA BUT NO CALLS WERE ANSWERED FINALLY I GOT THROUGH THEM TODAY AND THE IFB TECHNICIAN CAME TODAY THE FAULT WAS DICOVERED NEARLY AFTER 5 DAYS. WHAT IF SOMETHING HAD HAPPEND LIKE THE CHILDREN GOT A SHOCK IN THE KITCHEN WHO WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE???????????? WHAT KIND OF TECHNICIANS DOES THE COMPANY EMPLOY?????????? WHAT IF MY MACHINE BLEW UP WHO WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE?????THE TECHNICIAN WHO WAS SENT TODAY HAS RECTIFIED THE STABILIZER BUT MY MACHINE IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY!!!

    The chennai centre of IFB does not respect its service contract . My machine is under AMC. Its more than 10 days and I have made several calls to them and also sent them emails but no one has the courtesy or decency to either reply or attend. On 4 occasions during these last 10 days, they have said that a service personnel would call on us but not respected this.

    This is to inform you that IFB people do not take complaints seriously.I have complaint regarding my washing machine T2000DX.which stopped working as there was some short circuit inside.I was told by your customer care that it will take 48 hours to attend this complain.It means that if a machine catches fire due to short circuit and if person dies till you will send your engineer after 48 hours.I have gone through your site which states that lots of customers are not satisfied with your after sales.I would like to take this case legaly.Pls reply at earliest

    I have purchased one Elena model IFB Washing Machine - 3 months back. The front door rubber covering sensation does not work properly which creates inconvenience. This is not expected from a brand like IFB. I had purchased the machine with very high hopes. Regret to say- it did not stay upto my expectations. Would appreciate if some service engineer could be sent to my residence to get it checked across..

    My IFB Washing machine produces noise from the water solenoid valve during operation.I have booked a complaint with the customer service one and a half months back.They promised to send their service personel with in 48 hours.Since no body was deputed for service, once again i contacted them over phone.they gave me a cell number of chennai sevice centre.But no body is attending the phone.Even after booking the complaints repeatedly for more than 4 times with the customer care centre no body is bothered.Really iam frustated and i have never seen this type of worst serveice from any of products which i have.Surely here after i wont buy any IFB products in my life time.

    my ifb diva price is 9000rupees. now one small part not working properly within 15 momths. the service personnsl tested the machine.he said service charges for the defect rupees nearly 2000. totally ifb one of the worst machine in the market.please dont recommond any friends for ifb.

    I had gone for a insurance for around Rs 2500/- for my IFB washing machine. More than 2 months have been passed and no response is there. The machine parts had to be exchanged which are not working at all. The executive had taken the money and gone assuring it will be repaired in 1 mth. The worst services provided are with IFB Lucknow.

    Our wasing IFB washing machine was taken to service centre after inspection at home. They concluded that it requires replacement of front door seating ring of (cement like material). It was taken to the workshop on 28th May 2009 and till date it was not returned back to us due to the reason that spare part is not available with the service centre.Our washing machine is only 11 months old.     After reading the comments just I called the service center in Ulsoor, Bangalore and the people are not readdy to listen after 5 calls. If this is the case its not good for me to go for the IFB Product
    I have purchased a microwave of IFBvide sl no. 3165681. The microwave oven is not functioning properly since its purchse in Oct'2008. The two times complaint was attended without any improvement. The customer care no.[protected] is unreachable. No body is picking up the phone on [protected]. The warranty is going to expire within 1 1/2 Months. I think I have purchased a junk from a compnany of the sature of IFB. Very bad product of IFB . I request IFB either to attend my complain immedaitely or replace the same.

    Else as a poor indian customer I have to reamain silent or procced to lock horns with IFB in consumer court which is a very long process for mere a investment of Rs. 11000/-

    IFB WASHING MACHINE — Repair n service

    Purchased a ifb washing machine on 22nd augast 2008.the machine is not working since last one n half months..there is reoaeted complaints n follow up...but no solution..theres is only excuses..i am fed up woth this machine and wish to buty a new one..but i do not know ...what to do with this machine in hand...
    i bought ifb senator 3.5 years back. it had some motor problem in last febi.e feb, 08. i spended 5 five thousnd for replacing the motor and also took AMC. now again it is coming up with new problem as its drum is making some voices and aslo there is current in the machine .i have got 2 years of daughter so it very dangerous. i am calling custor care no. for last 10 days no one is picking on the other side. please suggest me what i should so to suught out this problem.

    I am IFB customer since last 7 years. My customer code is 986876. I have an AMC contract for my IFB washing machine no - 8902.

    The IFB service is worst, IFB people do not take complaints seriously. On 02 Oct I made a complain docket no 3445436 which was attended after several days. They somehow fixed the issue but the problem reappared after 10 days. We again made a complain on 21st October 09 docket no 2650417 but no one bothered to attend. We called them several times but they just igore the calls. We are now at there mercy.

    I Have made the complaint 6 Days back. They told the call will be attended within 24hrs. But in the past 6 days, i have repeatedly remembered them thrice.. I don't know what clock they use for these 24 hrs... I don't know why IFB is spoiling its name with its main Product Washing Machine..
    Am using IFB washing mach from past 4 years. And the service is so worst. i have put an AMC and after collecting the AMC amount the service rep. didn't bother to turn back for repairing he problem in my W/M. In spite of several calls, we didn't get proper response. in fact the service rep wud ask somebody to attend the call and tell nonsense reason like he is meeting, driving bla bla, , , , never seen such a worst service provider.

    Think Made a big mistake by purchasing IFB product...
    I am H.Ramesh, I gave compalint on 04.01.2010 to the customer care service about my Exutive Plus model machine have running problem. But no on so far attened the same. I have been repeatly calling the customer care and Excel service station at St.Thomas Mount, Chennai.

    I received some time back a SMS saying the new model of IFB Elite 5kg washing machine can be bought on exchange. We have elite IFB 5kg bought on 9-5-2007 at chennai . Unfortunately we had to shift it to Ludhiana, Punjab in the month of June 2007 I had an extended warranty too. However in Ludhiana I didn't get any satisfactory service. Once they came to install it. Now we are going back to Chennai. I just want to know whether there is still an exchange offer if so for how much we can get a new one. If I give the old one here at Ludhiana will you give the new one at Chennai?
    I am nirmal from chennai my friend bought a IFB washing machine in SEKAR DEPOT, VELACHERY they provide the (Damm) machine after the payment of couple of weeks.

    after the next 2 weeks the DAMM MACHINE getting worse in its circuit board. We logged a complaint on both IFB customercare and SEKAR DEPOT (where we purchased)... till nobody came(After 2 weeks of complaint).

    I Said its an ultimate DAMM MACHINE and the company too.

    Hello sir our washing machine was not working from last 1month i called to your service center no one is response to our call also my complaint number is 4571684. my Id number is 2329003.
    I too agree on the same. We bought a IFB washing machine for Rs. 18000/-. Within 3 years we developed problems with the machine. Spinning failed half way through the washing. On repeated complaint, a person came and fixed the problem with a cost of Rs. 5000/-. Now the washing machine makes a loud noise.

    In short, instead of paying such a huge amount for an IFB washing machine, it is better to buy a washing for Rs 6000/- odd, and then use and throw them once every 4-5 years.

    Atleast you have a new product (and hopefully an improved one every time you get a new one), rather then paying a phenominal price for an IFB product that gives you more trouble then does good, and keeps digging into your pockets after 3-4 years and then more frequently after that.

    So take this as a sincere advise and dn't buy an IFB product.
    I think this is the worst service center ever. I have taken AMC service where I was forced to take it by one Mr Shiva who said that it would be much easer. But after that its nearly 5 months since I gave a complain and no one ever came or even called to check. I still have the complain numbers and that too 3 or 4 of them and still no answer. worst worst service ever...
    Worst Worst Ever. Service is hopeless in Chennai don't ever get an AMC if you get that you'll never have any service done cause you've already paid for it and they will take your complain lightly. One Mr Shive had forced me to take the AMC and its 4 months since I've complained and having 3 complain numbers in hand and still no one to come or even call... the worse service .. don't ever buy IFB cause the service is just hopeless

    I have very bad experince in IFB Washing machine.
    In my machine just the switch was broken, I put a complaint with number 5060220.Service3 person came after a week of my complaint and took the total board.Now they are saying we sent the board to GOA for replacement and it will take some day.That some day becomes 2 WEEKS for me.
    PLZ dont buy IFB...

    IFB is no longer the best washing machine brand. After Bosch left, their engineering and service quality have become abysmal, so much so that all new buyers are facing problems as soon as 6 months and dumping the product within 3 years. This is a major waste of money. Advising consumers to stay away from IFB for now !
    we have experienced the same attidute of IFB personnel at Goa. The mechanic sent cannot identify the make of the washing machine. The washing machine has not been set right for past three months inspite of various calls made at the call centre and local office at Goa. (shri Shailesh).

    If this is the attitude for a person, who has three washing machines, one dishwasher and one dryer of all IFB makes, I feel pity on all the other IFB customers. Yesterday, after calling the call office in disgust, they once again gave me the number of Goa office and Shri Shailesh said he would ensure that the mechanic would report before 12 noon today i.e. 12th October 2010. Till the time of sending this email, the mechanic has not reported. Only God can help your Company. This is a customer of 20 odd years standing. If this could reach the General Manager of IFB or the Director or the Chairman of the Company and he could intervene, I would be grateful.

    We have purchased IFB Wasing Senator 6 kg Sr.No.78941on 26/06/2010 from Reliance Digital, Nasik Maharashtra. The same is delivered on 27/10/2010 and Service Engineer came and installed on 28/10/2010 satisfactorily. Please inform / suggest the followings -

    1) We heard that there are more models in 6 kg. But what we have purchased is is it Ok compare to other ?
    2) Noice is more. Earlier we were using LG 6 kg. But no noice was there like PIN DROP Silence. IFB Machines are noisy ?
    3) It takes 2 hrs for washing. Is there any criteria that for How many cloths it tales how much time. Pl.inform the parameters for the same

    THE SERVICE OFFERED BY IFB IS DEPLORABLE. REGRET HAVING PURCHASED AN IFB WASHING MACHINE. THE WORST EXAMPLE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
    we have very bad experience with service. we have made yearly service contract. from last 3 months our machine is not working. when we call to service centre, the serviceman will visit after 15 days. from last 4 months almost 6 times the serviceman came and after reparing the machine, new problem will come within 4-5 days.
    But from last 3 weeks after calling several times nobody will come to solve the problem.

    Believe it or not! My IFB washing machine is under AMC; it stopped working from October 2010 and from the time I started sending so many complaint calls, e-mails and letters to all the authorities of IFB that I could find in the internet. But, till now, no use. Although educated, they not even have the courtesy to give an appropriate response to their customers. Now, I have decided to face them legally.

    I have been using a IFB washing machine for the past 2 years. When I had bought the machine, I was told that there would be a free service within the first year. Well some person from the service team did call me some months ago (more than a year after the purchase) and told me that he would be coming. But he did not turn up. Then last week, my machine started giving trouble.

    I called the service call centre[protected] last week and gave them a complaint. They gave a complaint number and said somebody would call me in 48 hours. Nobody bothered to call. Again I called to follow up and this time, one of their incompetent representatives told me that the complaint number has not been registered and after my constant questioning hung up the phone on me. I called in again and i spoke to another representative and she said that I am raising this issue with my manager and somebody will certainly call you in the next 24 hours as my clothes are still stuck in the machine.

    Guess what, nobody bothered to call. And for the third time I called in again in a space of two days and I speak to the manager this time and she said she has no clue why the complaint wasn't attended to and said she will escalate the matter to her manager and gave another assurance...

    Just cannot believe the level of complacency and utter disregard for customer satisfaction. I was advised that the service of IFB is pathetic in Chennai, but did not pay heed. I am now rueing that decision of mine.

    This is the last time I would be using a IFB product. And am definitely going to the consumer forum with this.
    Our machine is down from 28th August onwards. Complaint no-6836778. Your service center says that specific spare part not available. The model is just 3 years old. No one picks up phone and your customer support is truly awful.

    MY service contract with extended warranty expires in 2010. My machine is defective for the last 20 days. Despite repeated callson call center, no one responds. They keep giving some number purportedly of their seniors which is always engaged. I am filing complaint in consumer forum. Lets see how much more time I have to wait.

    BodyI have put in my complaint 9 times with IFB starting 30th Oct2011 (machine under servise contract no 15628 and customer ID 796787), the technitian/ experts coming from Vashi Contractor Delight Services are not able to address the same. I have approched Mr Shashank and Ms Chahia and no body is responding back. First of all they do not attend to the calls and in case you are able to get them they always say that they shall come back to you and no response thereafter.
    Technitians are not trained at all.

    I lodged the complain in customer care center at toll free no [protected]. My customer ID is 3171704 & complaint no is 7919379. Against this complaint Mechanic turn up after 15 days & changed a part & charged Rs 3000 & told us to start the machine after 1 hr. When we started machine it was not working even its condition deteriorated after repair. He gave us a phone no of service center i.e.[protected] for telling the problem if any occurs. But this number is permanently busy since last 5 days I am also unsuccessfully calling customer care center toll free no [protected]. Please look into the matter & help me.
    I also had the similar experience from the service center at Alappuzha, Kerala. My washing machine is not working. Unaware of the online compliant register procedure I directly called the local IFB service center at Alappuzha and registered the compliant. In spite of the repeated call they have not yet
    responded my compliant. Whenever I call, they says serviceman will call next day. On one occasion he said he will call on in the evening. After that they have not yet responded. and It has been one week since then. I also stopped calling them. And now I left everything to gods hand.


    The IFB management should look into this irresponsible attitude very seriously which affect the reputation of the company itself.

    I am not sure if the management of IFB follow ethics in their customer service . I bought one front loading washing machine in Dubai from Lulu hypermarket, Karama expressing my loyality to Indian products when all the best brands are available here. At that time I was given promises of service and warranty. I therefore paid and waited for the delivery. At the time of delivery, I was handed over photocopy of operating manual saying that the they had run out of stock of the manuals. Very soon I started having problems and contacted the number given . it was answered by someone without any company name and some unscrouplus people came to attend.Thereafter we were asked to contact them directly. For the last six months we have been facing various problems and this guy picks up the phone at his discretion and comes at his discretion.Today I tried reaching the dealer thru the net, but in vain.I also called Lulu hypermarket and after being shifted through four extensions, I was told that, they will talk to the dealer and call me to give me the number.All this sounds funny and IFB management are probably not aware that this is Dubai and they need to raise their standards to be selling in this market. I did not have such problems in my previous National washing maching. I am waiting for one more day before I complain to the economic department .
    In my experience, IFB's service in Guwahati is the worst. I would never buy any IFB product in future and advise my friends too. I have an IFB washing machine. I never got any service from them even after tens of calls to their service centre, complains to their customer care and regional office. The worst was, one of their service person quarreled with me over phone for my complaints!

    Recently my washing machine was got repair and i called just dial...they gave some washing machine repairing person name and company name with contact number.so many persons called me for same.i gave chance to city service centre which was located in anna nagar,chennai.Mr manikandan came for service and the owner name is Selvam.after three days machine got a problem again.i called them after 2 days only they will come.that day also they serviced again.but the same problem come after three days..this time they will come after a week.again i m facing the problem but the guys are not picking the phone.i paid Rs 4875 /-.last ten days i m waiting for them.i visit them office also but there is no office...i really shocked...anybody can help to solve this problem...

    I purchased an IFB Fully automatic Washing Machine exactly two years back. The Machine stopped working just after the Warranty period of 02 years as if it was programmed to fail. No Power and the Technician who came said that the whole Top Operational Panel need to replaced which is costing 1/3rd of the cost of the Washing Machine. I trusted the IFB brand and this is very bad on their reputation.
    the service is extremely unsatisfactory and disgusting. I have given a complaint through the call centre more than a week back, I even contacted the service centre in my area where a glib talking executive told me he would send a person the next morn . The next afternoon when i visited i was again told that he would come within two hours. there has been no response so far. Like the other people on this page, I will never buy IFB appliances. The after sales service is horiible. In a market of such fierce competition one expects that service station would be up to date,
    Worest in service. Outdated technology of Belt Drive and consume double the Electricity compare to DIRECT DRIVE. I have lodged complaint on 2nd Oct.2012 and the service people, not competent in getting repaired attended till 30th Oct.2012. almost 28 days but, added sounds like Goods Rail Engine(coal type). Fedup with service and issued notice to the IFB Branch office, Secunderabad (A.P.)demanding to Refund the balance One Year AMC charges along with Rs.200/-per day DHOBI charges and damages created in-convenience.
    Selling the Product using the goodwill of BOSCH, German technology. The Washing Machine will not work after 4 to 5 years of purchase. This is a costly cheating. I have purchased DIGITAL 6Kg.diring 2008 from IFB Branch, Secunderabad, A.P. and continued Annual Maintenance Contract.

    I already got AMC for my IFB Washing machine.Even then your product is branded and reliable, unfortunately i am having some noisy and unusual vibrations.My Customer ID is 1589549.I have informed to the toll free number[protected] on 1st of this month.After 10 days only IFB Technician came and said that he is only the inspector and service engineer will come very soon.After that i went to the office in person and told the problem.The next day service engineer came and told that some spare (drum supporting element) required to fix the problem.Right now, we are not having spare and we will receive after deepavali.Till now no one came and when i called to the service engineer's mobile number, someone belongs IFB Service centre not responding properly.

    In the competative world, if you are maintaining this type of approach to the end customer, your product and the branded name(fame) will come down very fast.Do not allow your company product's fame come down because of some negligence of some IFB Members.

    Pls take necessary action.

    My IFB washing machine was giving abnormal jerks and sound while in operation. On behalf of IFB, AK Enterprises(Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore) service engineer attended it partially stating that the required spare part was not available and charged Rs 2700/-. Again it developed some problem and water was leaking from the bottom. Again the same man attended and charged Rs 1100/-. After his departure, when we operated the machine water was still leaking worse than previous occasion. Since more than a month I am trying to get that genleman who is promising every time that he would come and attend still he is coming...Jagadeesan, Bangalore.
    I Agree with Sanjivi. May machine is not working since last two months. Despite having AMC n service. The service engg comes and leaves without doing anything.     My IFB washing machine (Elena) is producing noise and vibrating as if it will fall while spinning. Trying to get in touch with the service center at Bhubaneswar, Odisha but in vain. I wish I had a product from a vendor who I could contact.

    This is regarding my complaint about the IFB washing machine. My complaint number is 11319470. My washing machine door is locked for the last 5 days. First I tried to contact on the telephone numbers given on warranty card but number were not in use. I got the number through internet and I booked a complaint on 19th August. They assured that mechanic would visit us on next day. but nobody turned up.I again called customer care they gave me a number to contact. When I called they said a person would call me shortly. But no body called me. When again I called customer care they again asked me to contact on the phone given. But again I got the reply that one of the mechanic is on leave and other would contact you. but again nobody has contacted me till now.

    My costly clothes are locked inside the washing machine for the last five days. I took leave from my office to get the washing machine repaired but nobody turned up.

      I had bought IFB Elena model on 27 Nov 2007 But since the day i bought this machine the dryong is not proper. There is good amount of water left behind even after its full cycle. I lodged the complaint which was attended also. Though it worked for initial few days but again the condition became same after sometime.Not only this even if i put a pinch of washing powder more than the reqd amount it again shows the same symptoms whereas this is not the case with the same model of IFB which is at my relatives place. What is procedure if i want to replace the set or incase i want to go in for higher model?

        Dear Sir,

        I am a very unfortunate buyer of IFB fully automatic washing machine. I bought the machine in January 2008 at a very high premium as compared to other brands thinking that quality and service will be good. However, I rudely shaken that within one monh there was a problem with the machine. However, the problem was sorted out. Now, again the machine stopped working totally on 29 July 08. I lodged a complaint on 30th at company's help line. On 1st, a mechanic came and said that motor is faulty and he will replace the same on Monday (4th August). He came and replaced the motor. However, the machine still did not work. The mechanic was not sure of the problem and kept talking on the phone. After 2 hrs of trial and error, he finally said that he was unable to repair the same as he did not know about the model. He then put us in touch with Amit Ananad who claimed to be head for service for north. He assured us that complaint will be sorted out by next day. However, the promises were false. Since then nobody has called up or bothered to chk inspite of repeated followup at call centre and branch office every day. We have even written on company's websitr. Even after that, there is no feedback regarding the complaint. We would like to request this honourable forum to kindly help us in getting back our refund for the machine plus compensation for the harassment caused. We will be highly grateful if you can help us in this matter.

          Dear sir/madam,
          i purchased a washing machine model of 7k.g. digital.From the date of installation on 26th jan, 05 the machine doorlight not working.I find it very difficult to get their technician from the banglore service centre.Everytime I have to call centre and follow with local service centre. With frequent attempts I could manage to get the technician one times during the last 10 days, still they could not identify the defect and the machine is not usable.
          My complaints to local marketing person is not useful and he is trying avoid the complaint calls.
          i am live in nadiad in gujarat so my nearest city is ahemedabad.The ahemedabad branch manager is not at all attending the phone calls.

          Very poor customer service.I am unable to get their higher officials' contact nos to proceed further.
          Based on the current problem I am facing,
          my suggestion is do not buy IFB products even though I was happy with my earlier my NATIONAL machine model Executive which has served 20 years.

          NOTE:-PLEASE TAKE DECISION WHAT YOU WANT TO DO OTHERWISE I WILL GIVE YOUR COMPANY NAME IN ANY NEWS PAPER.BECUSE I AM VERY TIRED TO THIS PROBLEM.

          I purchased a washing machine model Elite.From the date of installation on 28th June, 08 the machine is leaking.I find it very difficult to get their technician from the chennai service centre.Everytime I have to route the complaint through their call centre and follow with local service centre. With frequent attempts I could manage to get the technician three times during the last 16 days, still they could not identify the defect and the machine is not usable.
          My complaints to local marketing person is not useful and he is trying avoid the complaint calls.
          The chennai branch manager is not at all attending the phone calls.
          There is no response to my complaint through e mail also.
          Very very poor customer service.I am unable to get their higher officials' contact nos/E mail ID to proceed further.
          Based on the current problem I am facing,
          my suggestion is do not buy IFB products even though I was happy with my earlier IFB machine model Executive which has served 12 years.

          The machine which vibarated at a very high speed and had problem while

            Complaint ticket number 1992895 & 2031190 dated july 23rd & August 1st in Bangalore
            Hi,

            I am Raghu from Bangalore the user of IFB Automatic washing Machine, my machine is under AMC. From 23rd July on words when we switch on washing machine power trips off.

            I lodged a complaint on 23rd July 08 in Bangalore IFB customer care the Complaint ticket number 1992895, I was told that service engineer would attend within 48 hours I waited and called the customer care, when i called the customer care i was shocked that the complaint was closed with out attending.

            Again i registered a complaint with the customer care on August 1st the # is 2031190 till date no one has come to attend the problem

            It was unfortunate that as committed by customer care service engineer din not turn up, It was so difficult to keep the washing machine idle without washing from 12th July to till date.

            What I want to understand is


            1. How a branded company like IFB would be so careless to the customer complaints even during the warrenty, how would customer take this.

            2. It was amazing that, to me it appears IFB has lot of complaints which cannot handle the customer complaints so only service engineer could not turn up from 23rd July till now, it obiviously talks about the product quality and reliability.

            3. Even when service engineer did not turn up till date, the company do not have curtesy to respond back to customer and communicate the possible dealy un less and untill customer goes back to service help desk.


            Is any responsible can take it up and give the confidence to the customer on product quality, reliability, service etc.

            Subject: Frequent Tearing of Belt for the washing machine.
            We have an IFB Washing machine (and also IFB Dryer), just yesterday (29Jan2009) our service for a torn belt replaced. Today on the very first wash after the belt replacement the belt has torn again. I would like someone to look in this frequent tearing of belt problem immediately.
            This last belt replacement took more than a month after registering the complaint. The services are slow and the fixes are also not permanent.

            Note that the first belt tore off after 1 month and the 2nd belt tore off the very next day. We take extra precaution to not to overload the machine to avoid facing IFB servicemen. The Service person has found nothing wrong with the machine to tear the belt, so I would assume that the belts are of poor quality or fake.

                IFB Senator 6 kg washing machine; it has manufacturing defects and also spoils your floor by oozing our detergent regularly and if everything goes fine its heater will break and damage the drum and cause great danger to the lives of your loved one’s. Please don’t buy this washing machine.

                We bought IFB Senator 6 kg washing machine in May 2008 from Bajaj Electronics, Punjagutta showroom in Hyderabad. We purchased this machine for our convenience as the two other washing machines we had were little smaller 4 kg, and we would have to run several washes to wash all our cloths.

                The IFB Senator 6 kg washing machine was delivered to us and 2 days later a person from their service center came to our house and installed the machine, he did a test run with water and no cloths and said that it is working perfectly. Soon after the service man left, we used the new washing machine with a few cloths and Ariel washing powder, the machine worked for a few minutes before it started oozing out loads of detergent and water all over the carpet flooring in the washing room, we closed the machine and tried several times and the same thing happened. After several tries and having experience from using many front loading washing machines in the past we were convinced that Bajaj Electronics or IFB had sold us a defective product.

                This was just the beginning of our worries, problems and waste of time having bought IFB washing machine.

                Soon we contacted the service center number present on their website and users manual booklet, to our surprise it was not accessible and out of order and after trying several places we were able to get the service center number. We spoke to a lady and explained the problem we were facing in detail and she said that someone will come to our place in the afternoon to check the machine. No one ever came, even after following up with the service center for several days and someone only came to help us after 7 days (“1 week”).

                As soon as the service man arrived, it was shocking to hear that even after us informing more than 40 times to the service center lady about our issue he did not know anything about our problem. We had to explain everything to him again and on hearing our issue, he was quick in saying he was aware of this issue as several of their customers were experiencing the same problem and he said we were using the wrong detergent (“even though we used the same type of detergent in all the front loading machines we used in our lives”) and that we need to use a detergent of the type MATIC, and then he sold us few boxes of Henko Mattic detergent and also a washing machine stand and cover, which evidently according to them is essential for IFB front loading washing machines to function correctly, (“again none of the other machine we used earlier ever needed anything of like this”) also this information was no where available in the users manual.

                Soon after the man left we were able to use the machine successfully for one day and again next day we had the same problem, by this time we were convinced that we had been cheated. Again we had to try several times and wait for 1 week before someone came to resolve our issue, this time the service man new what our problem was and surprisingly without even checking anything knew that a switch inside the washing machine board was loose and faulty and he rectified it immediately and left. At this point we requested IFB to replace the washing machine since we were sold a defective product, but they refused to comply with our grievances.

                After that day it was not many days before we started facing more problems with the IFB washing machine, it was less than two months since we bought the machine and one day while we were washing 2 bed sheets in it, we heard some loud sounds from the IFB washing machine and then it stopped and continued the washing process till it completed. When we opened the door and remove the bed sheets we were shocked when we saw the metal drum in which the cloths are washed was completely out of shape, it no longer looked like a cylindrical drum but looked more like a crumpled box. We contacted the service center, by now you will have guessed that it took them more than a week to come to check the problem. On reaching and seeing the machine from a distance the service man like possessing Psychic powers was most definitely sure that a coin must have been present with the cloths we were washing (“even though we said we washed 2 bed sheets”) and that it got stuck in the drum which in turn went through the process of damaging a heater which in the process went and damaged the metallic drum.

                Let me give you a small description about a special feature that IFB has in their Senator 6kg model, it has a coin trap mechanism which is designed to safely capture and remove coins that are present in the cloths being washed and send it into a coin trap at the bottom of the washing machine, from where we can open and easily collect the coins.

                Now coming back to our problem, however when we checked the coin trap after being explain by the service man, we did not find any coins or anything in the coin trap. But he was still curtain it was the imaginary coin that has caused the problem and said after 5 days they will take our machine to the repair center and check at their convenience and tell us the actual cause of the problem. Some how we had the idea that we were being cheated and that they will come back to us saying that it was a coin and that they had found a coin in the washing machine, which has caused all the problem and that’s exactly what we heard from then in almost a weeks time. Now they were asking us to pay for changing the entire drum and some other mechanical parts, because according to them it was our fault because we had left a coin in one of the cloths we washed. On hearing this we object and said that it was because of malfunctioning of your coin trap and it cannot be projected as out fault. Since then it’s been a month and the washing machine is still in the service centers possession. Now we want our money to be returned or the washing machine replaced. It is 21st July 2008 today and still they haven’t agreed to their manufacturing defect fault and causing great deal of inconvenience to us by wasting lots of our time and giving us the trouble of washing cloths for long hours.

                Please let us know at [protected]@dafiina.com if any one has faced similar problems after purchasing IFB washing machines, we plan to take the company to court and also publish a public notice in leading newspapers in India to warn all other people from purchasing IFB products as they are cheating people.

                Well i can surely tell you that the coin is not planted by you. One of my friend was working with IFB services and he was senior service engineer there. And he disclose the shocking fact to me that in IFB when some service engineer checks ur machine then before leaving they plant some nail, clip or coin in ur drum and as usual we without checking drum put our clothes into machine and that damage the drum. Most of the time this happens with customers. And thats is the way they complete their service target. But we cannot prove this.
                I have purchased an IFB (Elena) Fully Autometic Front Loading Washing Machine. When its dryer work it vibrates dangerously. As a result the machine dislocated at another place. For that particular reasons I have not purchased any "Stand" from your company. Please let me know, is there any locking system in the said stand to protect the movement of the machine when running.

                Secondly, its dryer not working satisfactorily. In comparison to other company's machines clothes are not drying properly.

                I have called your customer care executive so meny times but after checking they told me the machine is okey and the vibration is normal. But, in my view it is quite abnormal and any time an accident may occur.

                Please look into this matter.

                I purchased IFB ELENA DX washing machine on 24.11.08 at Kakinada, my Ticket no. is 2458305, at the time of purchase shop owner told 2+2 years warranty but in the book written only 2 years warranty. Again I asked the shop owner about 2 years extended warranty, he says service engineer/representative will come and install your washing machine and also he will give extended 2 years warranty. Service engineer came to my house and installed my washing machine and wrote 2 years extended warranty on the given book without your company seal, same thing send mail 2 times, after mailing your company person responded through my mobile in December 2008 and he told me to send extra 2 years warranty with in 15 days but up to this time not sending any message/letter/warranty to my address. Please send extended warranty of 2 years as early as possible to my address.

                IFB/washing machine-senator — received defective product

                hello sir
                we purchased an IFB washing machine few days ago through CSD. the product we received is defected...despite repeated complaints and requests neither the defect has been looked after nor the product is being exchanged.the demo was also not given by the engineer...he just installed it and went away...after 2 days the machine started producing starnge noises...after repeated requests the engineer came and told us that the machine is defected...apparently he didnt tell us what the defect is and told us to get it replaced as it had been only one week since we purchased it but now neither the dealer nor the company is paying any heed to our problem!!
                please help us in this regard and find a solution for our problem.

                IFB Front loading washing machine, Senator DX 6 kg — machine not working after just one month of purchase

                I had purchased an IFB front loading washing machine from Croma , Malad, Mumbai in March 2010. just after one month of purchase , the machine has started giving problem. Water is gushing out from all openings of the machine and flooding the entire house. Even after repeated complain to IFB service center they are not able to solve the problem . the technician who came did not know properly what to do . the company people say the motherboard is faulty and it has to be replaced. but the motherboard is never to come. It is about 10 days I had complained and it looks as though they are not going to come.I am fed up and completely regret why I had bought IFB machine which is supposed to be one of the best. If the motherboard is faulty in just one month of purchase, what would happen to it later. I am sorry to say I am not satisfied either with the machine nor the service offered nor the service personnel.I want a replacement but I know my complaint will never even be looked at.

                IFB WASHING MACHINE SERENA KGS — MAnufacturing defect

                I was purchase machine from sales emporium on 21st august 2010.On 17th oct. there was a problem in machine, i was complain on 18th oct. The technicians came on 20th oct. & told me that if the stand was changed than the problem is solved, but the problem is not o.k. I was complain again on 23rd, 25th, 26th, after that the technicians came & told that there is a manufacturing defected in the machine. I was complain it again & again for change it. Today i receive the call from company that they was not replace the machine, they repair it. I told them when there is a manufacturing defect then why they not replace the machine.

                It is brouht to your kind notice that I had bought IFB Senator Washing machine. While ringing, it started whistling (making noise). The complaint was lodged and motor was changed 4-5 times, but the fault remained the same. Again it was brought to service station, and then also fault remained same. I again brought it to the notice of officers in IFB Company but they have not attened my complaint. I think it is a manufacturing fault, so this machine needs replacement. I request u to kindl replace the washing machine.

                I want to let everyone know that I bought a IFB Senator DX washing machine that was completely faulty even as it reached my home for the first time.I was cheated right from the start, when i bought the machine.The employees at a NEXT showroom(where i bought) said that demonstration cannot be done at the showroom and I had to get it home.

                Even in its first run when an IFB associate installed the machine it made LOT OF NOISE, he remarked that the product is faulty. Now I have been after these guys since then.Made hundreds of phone calls. The one very disturbing answer I get is that the product is already bought and hence it cannot be replaced - It can only be fixed. Now here something more disturbing. As I lodged a complaint with IFB about the faulty machine, technicians kept coming and going without any solution, no solution. I kept arguing I want a replaced working product. They kept dragging the situation, opened the machine did something and make some stupid excuse everytime. That some spring has to replaced, you need a stand or stabilizer is require.I did everything.You wont believe it has been an year now. Still no solution. No IFB associate answers my call.Technicians make stupid excuses and leave.

                There was a customer satisfaction certificate that had to be filled by me but the technicians never referred to it because it was going to be negative.I have appliances at home from different companies and only one IFB appliance because someone said they are the best washing machine manufacturers.And that is the only one that is faulty. Really pathetic product and Unacceptable customer service.
                For anyone going for a machine never go for IFB, i indeed found out from many that there washing machine produces loud noise.Never Buy IFB. Period
                how I get user manual in internet for my IFB SENATOR washing machine.

                  Hi,

                  I am Ramesh from Bangalore the user of IFB Automatic washing Machine Executive ELITE, my machine is under warrenty. From 12th July on words when we switch on washing machine power trips off, we made couple of attempt the result is same, our first approach was to call electrician and check the home power supply which was found normal and all lights and appliances are working fine.

                  I lodged a complaint on 12th July 08 in Bangalore IFB customer care the Complaint ticket number 1959688, I was told that service engineer would attend on 14th July, till 15th July I waited and called the customer care, I was told that on 15th July 08 before 8.30 PM service engineer would visit.

                  It was unfortunate that as committed by customer care service engineer din not turn up, It was so difficult to keep the washing machine idle without washing from 12th July to till date.

                  What I want to understand is

                  1. When we bought the machine we were told big about the quality of the product and the service promptness, where did these promises go.

                  2. How a branded company like IFB would be so careless to the customer complaints even during the warrenty, how would customer take this. What would be fate after warrenty expires???

                  3. It was amazing that, to me it appears IFB has lot of complaints which cannot handle the customer complaints so only service engineer could not turn up from 12th July till now, it obiviously talks about the product quality and reliability.

                  4. Even when service engineer did not turn up till date, the company do not have curtesy to respond back to customer and communicate the possible dealy un less and untill customer goes back to service help desk.

                  5. Now during the warrenty the srvice is so pathetic I want to know what is the lead time to sttend the complaint, so that I could keep my many fellow collegues of IFB users to be cautious about the product and be on the alternate arrngement in case if it fails.

                  6. I want know what is the escalation levels and the time line to escalate, I being a professional I want to make an attempt professionally before I could go to media/consumer forum to initiate actions and make whole contry aware of my pain.

                  Is any responsible can take it up and give the confidence to the customer on product quality, reliability, service etc.

                  I have a similar or even worse situation. I purchased IFB Digital 5.5 Kg on 17-Aug-08, the IFB Engr (so called) installs on 23-Aug-08 (forget 48 hours of time line!) and runs away to go to another location without even waiting for Demo run to get completed (since he knows that he has to face the customer, when the wash cycle comes to Rinse/ Spin mode as the machine vibrates so heavily that machine gets displaced from installed place!)

                  Thereafter upon complaining on heavy vibration; the Engr says it is a normal future in any washing m/c (believe me my old Voltas Semi Auto runs at 1200 rpm and does not even utter any noise) and this IFB m/c (so called advance technology) vibrates so heavily; even at 400 RPM, the m/c literally runs off the installed place !

                  Fine..After 1.5 weeks of normal use, on 02-Sep-08 I get 'Pr5' Error; the manual directs me to call customer care. My complaint no 2144322 on 02-Sep-08 at 9 AM gets attended only on 06-Sep-08, that too after repeated chase. The service engr opens the m/c cover, looks around inside, does nothing, closes the machine. Then he suspects on low water pressure and makes a big hole on the inlet pipe water filter net (which is part of the m/c supplied by IFB); without even discussing with me. When I see this and ask him why did he spoiled (holed) the inlet hose filter; he responds saying "instead of making a hole, if he remove the filter net; water will leak !". Then I ask him how m/c ran all these days with the same water pressure and without making any hole on inlet filter he has no answer! Also I ask him is he ready to bear the cost against this act resulting in any further damage to the m/c parts in future, he promises to replace the filter.

                  A numerous calls are made on this thereafter, and this promise is still a promise till today.

                  If you have/had any fancy on IFB advertisements, dealer's big boast on quality and service, think twice before you buy!!
                  yes i accept with u.Same problem with me. please do not purchase IFB products even in your dreams. This is one of the horrible experiences consumer like me can have after paying heafty prices for the machine initially and then running from pillar to post for availing service. It is not worthy that i have i also paid one year maintainence charges for which my pain is still acute now i can neither get the value for my money nor engage outside technician for the complaint.

                  Even I have a bitter experience with IFB Washing Machine. I had lodged a complaint on 22nd September. On 24ht Sept their autohrised service from MS Associates came and said that there was some problem with the valve and it has to be repalaced. Going by his word i asked him to replace the valve, the repalced the same on 29th Sept 2008 afternoon. When we strated using the m/c on 30th morning the problem was still occuring. I tried to reach the person who has attended the problem, but unfortunately he is not reachable. Can anybody tell me the escalation process. IFB after sale service is really bad.

                  i M.Sreenivas rao purchased above said washing machine at RK Electronics, chandanagar, Hyderabad on 6th october 2008.on 7 th october your service person came for installation, he installed the machine as per instruction manual.after installation he switch on the machine found drum not rotating.he opened the top cover for rectification, done somany trails, un able to solve the problem.informed to service dept manager Mr.steveen([protected])tolled me we will replace the same with in two days, and also i complained at RK Electronics sales persons Sanjeeva reddy and praveen, they also promised to me for replacement.After two days i spoke to steveen, he tolled me already i informed to branch service manager Mr kamal mitra([protected])than i spoke to mitra he is go on telling tomorrow, tomorrow, i am not undrstand why it is going on. let me know product selling is only company (IFB) policy or custmar care also included in policy, your distributor are not rsponsible taking care of custmars, are your service people are sleeping idont know, solve my problem other wise Pl give me IFB company Managing director/CEO'S e mail or advise me whom can i talk.

Doubt Product quality + engineers capability to fix the issues. He does something and works for a day and the problem continues. This has been the situation since 27Dec08. Now I have a new token(T.N - 12Feb[protected] where IFB representative are yet to work on this. It is night mare.

                  There is no excalation process in this system. You call the call center, they will give all the details of regional head, branch head everyone in the system possible. But no use, we need to followup again with these people. As time permits, I am planning to lodge a compliant in consumer court. I know that will take it's owntime in our system. But serious steps are to be taken, for such irresponsible support system. If organisation like IFB behaves during warranty period in such manner, God know the situation beyond.

                  I believe their customer service is more than pathetic. I havent seen bad such service yet other than IFB.My machine is not yet installed and it has been more than 3 months. I would have done it myself but accidentally the inlet water hose got broke and I could not get it anywhere in the market place. you need to call customer care and the service personal will deliver it to you. It has been over a month and the service personal has yet not turned up. I would never ever advise anyone to purchase any IFB product.
                  I forgot to write my latest ticket no (this is the third and none has been taken care of). it is 2769907 dated 27.02.09
                  I am also having similar problem sometimes the machine works sometimes it doesnt, IFB is hopeless even after taking so much money they cant deliver a machine that works, my number is [protected] if you get it working let me also know.

                  I am Hansa Dutt from Chandigarh the user of IFB fully Automatic washing Machine Top loadingnModel AW60-806, my machine is under warrenty. From 14th Feb on words when we switch on washing machine then obnormal sound, sound like a aroplane in my house, we made couple of attempt the result is same,

                  I had purchased an IFB washing M/c just one month back, First to get the demo it took a week. Next within one month it started malfunctioning and a complaint I had registered. It took 4 days for the service person to attend. After that he told some software problem and took the board of the machine for repair. He has still not returned already 5 days over. I had registered complaint and feed back in IFB website 2 or 3 times but nobody is responsible to acknowledge my complaint nor bother. I had taken this m/c in Girias J.P.Nagar ring road, bangalore. I dont know wether Girias would sell this dummy products as dasara diwali offer because one of my friend also faced the problem while purchasing a TV in Girias. Any how I dont know who is the responsible person in IFB that he will take care of the customer complaints seriously and provide justice. I know, every company have a problem such that out of 100 products 1 or 2 may give such a problem. But now I am the unlucky person to get that product. I dont know what to do whom to complaint, because I am the one who went for IFB against to my family members who suggested other companies. That I have taken this in instalment.
                  I lodged a complaint on 07th june 2011, i have callled the service engineer more than 5 times over phone. Till this time, his response is i am coming to attend the problem. But he is not telling the exact timing and when he is coming to attend. from last two days we were waiting for him by keeping all our outside work pending. This has happend in shimoga, karnataka.

                  The worst company that I have ever met with is IFB...please do not purchase and product from IFB.

                  I bought one front loading washing machine senator dx 4 months back. It developed some complaint with the panel board after on emonth. IFB service centre replaced it. Same complain afte rone month. Again replaced. Now it is for the third time. Complaint is still open with IFB and not attended for last four days.
                  Very horrible service. Nobody attending the phone. No response at all from service centre. Call centre is always giving the same bla blas...I'm thinking to sue IFB against this...

                  I am facing a worst experience with IFB customer service. I have bought a IFB Front Load Elite Dx 5.5 Kg last November. The number of days Washing machine was in repair are greater than number of days it worked.

                  The last complaint I made was on October 18, Engineer came to replace motor after 1 week. He left the device open as some wiring needs to be done. And has not yet turned back.

                  When we try to reach out to Customer service we have not even received any response from them yet. We are frustrated to have bought IFB product and bad experience we are getting with it.

                  Dont ever think about purchasing a IFB product. And great applauds to the company that it still runs with such a worst customer service.

                    Vibrating immensely at Spin and machine falling down

                    I bought "Elena" Model of Washing Machine in the month of March 2008 and from day one it had problems...At spin stage it would Vibrate with a lot of noise and pressure and the machine would move forward and it has also fallen off the platform . After giving compaints and after being looked at by various technician...as senior technician came and repaired the same.

                    Again..Saturday onwards it again started vibrating...

                    I got this machine on Dec 31' 2007, Serial No .94086 Place: Chennai

                    We are having lot of problems- getting lot of sounds and the machine is jumping like frog and raised almost eight complaints in one month. Complaints # 1851865, 1903407

                    Nothing is working for us. Every time they are giving wrong information to us.. Very poor customer service. I asked the manager for replacement, he told me that according to the manual, we provide only service in the warranty period not replacement...

                    Almost four times they have done the service nothing is work out for me.. Kindly let me know whom I need to contact for machine replacement.

                    This machine would be good, if it is working fine.. about the customer service, it is very very poor . I think third party is taking over the service bit, they are concentrating only on money not service.. Initially they are asking to us to buy the detergent and some other cleaning items.

                    Is this the way IFB works?

                      40 Days Back I purchased a IFB make 5KG Digital Washing Machine.From the 2nd day onwards it is giving lot of problems.The machine is stopping in between, It is not moving forward from 30 mins in quick wash mode.4 times i have given complaints regarding this. But till now my problems have not been rectified.Whoom do i contact?????I already spoke to Mr.Kamal Mitra & Steaven Augasteen.But there is no proper response.This is very very bad.I need proper reply from IFB. otherwise i need to approach Consumer forum.Wainting for your Reply...                         Before a month back I bought IFB washing machine but for last two weeks it is dead. I lodged a complain through costomer care but is not attended so far. Daily 5-6 times I am reminding, but I am getting assurance that it will be attended on priority bais. The matter is also taken up with the higher official but there is no diffence in any situation.

                        In single sentence, IFB running a very poor after sales service.

                        I bought a New IFB Senator 6 Kg in NOV' 2007. The machine is still under warranty till Nov' 2009 and i even purchased the 2 years extended warranty.

                        Couple of days back when the machine was on and wa sin drying mode suddenly the machine started making a loud unusual sound. I ran up to see whats happening but within seconds the machine popped out from the stand and fell down. Luckily my wife escaped from any injury as she was standing next to the machine.
                        I logged a complaint for the same (complaint number 3162966) and a technician did visited my home and after opening up the complete machine he told me that it will cost me around 6000/- bugs to get the machine repaired (since its shockers, drum, heater coil and some other parts have been damaged). When i asked him that my machien is still under warranty why am i supposed to pay for any damage / fault appearing while the workign of machine but of no use. I even talked to couple of their senior persons in the company but no one is ready to accept the fact that i should get the benifit of the warranty.

                        Infact when i argued with the technician who visite my house he made a statement that had i purchased the IFB stand with machine (and not used my own stand which i have been using with my other machines and coolers from many many years) than all my repairs would have ben done free of costs.

                        Does that means the warranty of machine is valid only i[censored] buy the IFB tand too ... i couldn't found any such conditions written any where in the warranty document.

                        Now i'm in big messy state of what to do since the IFB technician left the machien in open state with all its parts out from the cabinet and since then its been 3 days no one else from IFB has visited us and no one is ready to help us. The only option i'm seeing is to accept what ever IFB person is saying and pay them a big amount to get my machine repaired.

                        I feel like being cheated and feeling like an for going for a Big brand who do not have any after sale service or costumer satisfaction / delight once their product is sold.

                        Can any one suggest wht to do ?

                          I purchased the IFB Washing machine (Executive plus) model around 6 yrs. back. After 3 yrs. of purchase the drier motor was
                          gone out of order & I had to spend around 4, 000/- for repairing by the IFB service men.
                          At present, the drum has lost its balance & is producing cracking sound while rotating & is not in a position to operate.
                          After lodging complaint through net, the service man attended on the very next day. As per him, the ball-bearing of the drum is damaged, which resulted the balance loss of the drum. He prescribed to replace the entire drum as the ball-bearing cannot be changed alone, it is fixed with the drum. The cost will be around 5, 000/.
                          I spent more than 21, 000/- at the time of purchase, I also tried to use the machine as directed. Why the machine is so designed when one has to incurr 9, 000/-, if not more, within 6 yrs. of purchase. People go for the best considering the product quality
                          as well as its long life.
                          Can the company exchange the machine?

                            DEAR SIR,
                            WE PURCHASED A IFB WASHING MACHNE IN THE COMPANY OUT LET IN CHENNAI AND WHEN WE PAID MONEY AND GOT THE MACHINE ONE OF THE DEMO PERSONS HAD CHEATED MY WIFE AND TAKE AWAY RS.3000/ BY GIVING SOME DETERGENT POWDER AND WHEN I IMMEDIATELY REPORTED THE MATTER TO THE COMPANY AND THREATENED ACTION THE MONEY WAS RETURNED. BUT NOW AGAIN WHEN THE SERVICE PEOPLE WAS CALLED FOR OVER HEATING A SERVICE PERSON FROM THE COMPANY CAME AND GAVE DESCALING MATERIAL FOR RS.450/ AND WHEN THE MATERIAL WAS USED THE DRUM OF THE MACHINE GOT BURNT. AND AFTER THAT I UNDER STAND THAT IT NEED NOT BE USED AT ALL. IF THEY ARE GOING TO WORK WITH SUCH NETWORK THEY WILL SOON BE OUT OF RACE IN INDIA

                            I had purchased a washing machine from IFB in Gurgaon. Ever since I took AMC the machine is not working properly due to poor service technicians. When they open to repair a fault they ensure that a second problem is created. The machine washes well but it is due to untrained, poorly qualified engineers that ensure the machine always has one fault or the other.
                            I am in Chennai and have purchase IFB fully automatic machine 3 years back and the machine is under AMC. The service is really pathetic and they NEVER stick on to the commited date to fix the problem. When we contact the Service Engineer he will point out to his Manager, and when we contact the Manager he will not commit on the date at all.

                            Day by day it is becoming a big worry because of the VERY poor Service of IFB in Chennai. Looking the right contact person to escalate this to next level.
                            we have a dishwasher of IFB and we have also paid 2 year AMC.
                            we lodged complaint of malfunction on 26th dec08 and this is 31st dec08 none attended inspite of followup on phone leat 30 times.
                            very insesitive organisation with no respect for services they sell.
                            they should be made accountable. They never update records inspite of eachtime you convey.
                            I have purchased IFB senorita plus from adealer at Tambaram. They have send the machine on 12th Jan'09. Repeated complaints the DEMO people not yet come to my home as on 21.01.2009. This is very serious view and the company name will be spoiled in the market. In future I will not buy any product of IFB.
                            I purchased an IFB microwave from Mumbai in Sep-06. The machine developed a minor problem in the door closing mechanism on 30 Nov 08 and accordingly i lodged a complaint with IFB care on 01 Dec 08. It has been two months since then, but the problem has not been sorted out due the lackluster approach shown by the company. It is indeed sad to note the dismal attitude of the company in sorting out it's customer's woes. Im' sure in this age of competitive marketing, IFB is going have a rough ride if it does not improve it's service support network.
                            WITH REFERENCE TO MY EARLIER COMPLAINT REGARDING IFB WASHING MACHINE BEING BURNT BY THE SERVICE TEAM. I TOOK UP THE MATTER LEGALLY AND SENT A NOTICE TO THE COMPANY AND AFTER THREATENING LEGAL ACTION THE COMPANY HAS SUPPLIED ME A BRAND NEW MACHINE. ONE HAS TO REMEMBER ONE HAS TO BE PATIENT VIGILANT AND SHOULD HAVE THE ENDURANCE TOFIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS. THANKS. V.KANAGASUNDARAM

                              This is to follow up with the issue of the non-delivery of the IFB Microwave Oven- 17PG1S which was shipped out by your company on 12th May. I had placed an order for the same on the 2nd of May 2008(Mother's Day Special) and as per the terms and conditions of your company, the orders are usually delivered by you, within 4 days. Since you repeatedly ask for time and it has been a month since this issue has been going on (refer my earlier mails), I would like you to kindly send me a scanned copy of the order placed by me and forwarded to the Vendor (IFB), a scanned copy of the shipment details and also the courier receipt.

                              I would like to follow this issue up on my own and would like to let you know, that I may have to contact the CONSUMER FORUM with regard to this, if no effort is shown by your company in terms of delivering the order, in the meanwhile.

                                  we had bought a top of the line IFB Microwave 29 Ltrs capacity with all good features. after having used it for some years, we have had the microwave develope some parts failures where in the opening lid / front door of the microwave has a material on its inner lining which began to wither off / began to fell off by being getting brittle in its constitution. we, than led by natural concerns to keep the product / appliance in good working condition, we happen to be at many an electronic dealing shops & showrooms in Ludhiana and Chandigarh but to no avail. Almost all of the dealers in the two towns have said that this product is out of circulation and they cannot help us to get it fixed. although the product is in absolutely good running condition but we have been strictly adviced by our well wishers and the all of the electronic goods sellers in the area to not to use it because of the scare of the radiations getting leeked and causing harm to my family in that case. Can i be helped by getting the same repaired to functioned normally.

                                    We had purchased IFB washing machine digital 5kg on 25th June 07. It started giving us complaints from 23rd August 07. Small clothes used to get trapped in the machine & choke the machine. We have to get it opened up many times through service engineer. Lateron the condition of machine worsened & many of our expensive clothes were torn & damaged in the machine.

                                    Service personnel from IFB have already come not less than 10 times and have not given any permanent solution. We have already lost our many expensive clothes due to its persistent problem of tearing up of clothes. Inspite of repeated reassurances the recurent & chronic problems of this washing machine are not being corrected and we request IFB to replace the defective machine or take back the machine and save us from further suffering.

                                      I have also purchased IFB washing m/c senorita Dlx model on 8th October 2008. And after sevaral follow and reminders person from IFB came after a week and then found that m/c is defective. Now IFB persons says that m/c is defective and they will replace but they will charge the delivery charges. Based on last ten days experirnce I am not sure that they will deliver the m/c .

                                      I am really very disappointed and feel cheated after spending so much money on IFB m/c.
                                      Dishwasher under warranty not repaired for the past 1 1/2 months.
