We have booked andaman and nicobar trip through make my trip adviser on feb 2020. At that time there is no issue of covid-19 into india. Still while doing booking we have asked adviser to do this booking under mmt double black account. Our travel date span is 8 march 2020 to 14 march 2020. We have decided to cancelled this trip due to covid-19 issue. We have lay over of 7 hrs on chennai airport and covid-19 case was register just before few days back from our travel date.

No one from mmt is helping us to cancel the booking till end moment. All airlines are ready provide full / partial refund for this still mmt are saying we are going to forfeit your entire amount.

This is life threatening situation and no one is willing to constantine wile going for vacation. We are asking for re schedule trip or refund our amount.

Please help us for this.

    Mmt travel finance is not appearing in my application. I heve taken one trip using that but now i want to pay total left amount but not appearing in my application. So please solve this.

    I have booked flight using mmt finance and i have paid almost all emis only one left. I wanna pay that now. But after login in mmt app. That finance facility is not visible. So i m not able to pay that and unable to use mmt finance also.

      Makemytrip india listed this fake 4 star luxury resort called devasthali in vasco made me pay the full amount up front for this dump of a place. They called the price highly discounted for the dump that they listed. I paid way less for 100 times better radisson candolim. The customer service at mmt said that they have no control over refunding my money and the front desk at the devasthali said i could contact mmt to get a refund. This experience certainly makes me question the credibility and truthfulness of the information provided by mmt. They seem to be is to be running this fraudulant cash grab scheme. Mmt customer service even blamed tourism of india for the rating on the hotel. And even before resolving the issue and providing me with satisfactory answers or refund mmt closed the complaint as resolved. Their best excuse was that they could not reach me on the 2 phone numbers i provided. Of course i am travelling and on vacation. I was expecting a to spend a good time rather than dealing with these stupid customer service people who tried to convince me that the hotel was great and that they would change my room. I even sent them pictures of the dirty facility but no response.

        I, pratima jain, & my husband, shivank jain, had booked the trip swiss-paris delight on mmt for 2.8lac. Due to international issue of corona virus, we asked them postone our trip as it’s very serious concern for the nation also. They told us that 1lac shall be deducted for air ticket cancellation, rest amount shall be adjusted. Air fare has been full refunded but they are still deducting 90k for no reason. Please help up as they are not giving any details for their open fraud.

          Sir,

          I have made a flight booking through mmt mobile application and the booking id:nn[protected].

          I had a seat selection failure while booking and i received a sms and e-mail from mmt stating "your seat (S) selection which could not be completed because of a temporary failure at airline. However, your flight booking nn[protected] is confirmed. We regret the inconvenience. We recommend you to re-book the following seat (S) by visiting mytrips section of makemytrip or airline website."

          So again i tried selecting the seats and paid the same (2045inr debited from my bank account with 107inr from my wallet, so in total again rs.2152).
          Anyways i don't need the wallet amount back. But i need my hard earned money to be credited back to my account.

          In short:
          1st pending refund:2152inr
          2nd pending refund:2045inr

          I have contacted the customer support through the application live chat.. And the executive told me that they have initiated a special claim request for the second amount and both amounts will be credited back to my account within 72 hours, and it's 7 days since then. The amount is not yet credited in my bank.

          I'm trying to contact the customer support from yesterday and there's no response. I tried the toll free no also[protected] no response.

          I here by attaching all the relevant screenshots to prove my claim.
          Please look forward into my concern and do the necessary.

            Dear mam/sir,

            I had a booking with the id nl[protected] to jaisalmer jodhpur on the 20th of march, we had raised an cancellation on the 4th of march 2020 due the global crisis of corona virus outbreak and the corresponding government advisory to avoid public places.

            Please refer the news clipping below that states that there has been cases in jailsalmer/jodhpur as well

            As this juncture as i am travelling with 2 senior citizens and three kids it is not safe to travel to this location but makemytrip is forcing me to take this travel or get no refund which is 80, 000 rupees.

            The only bookings that we have done are of hotel stay/local travel which as per the hotel policy is completely refundable so i don't understand why are we not being given a refund?

            I understand there is a cancellation policy in place but that is for personal cancellations and not for such global crisis.

            If makemytrip is understanding this concern for international customers i don't understand why the domestic customers are not being treated at par.

            My humble request to you is to either cancel this with full refund or at least postpone this trip by 12 months, so that we can travel once the outbreak is in control.

              My upcoming travel to dubai cancelled by mmt without my consent & making excuse after providing confirmation vouchers. This is pathetic practice from mmt. Requested to take necessary action again mmt.
              We trust big brand and they are breaking our trust like this they have only one solution that is refund... Stop this practice this can dame country image as well

                Hi, I have booked my holiday trip from Delhi to Manali for the dates 04/12/2020 to 04/16/2020. But due to the effect of Corona virus I have to cancel my journey so when I contacted customer care they are not addressing my problem and said no amount will be refunded. Here I am cancelling my trip because of Corona effect and this is a world wide problem. So Makemytrip should understand the customer reason and should refund the money.

                  Sir, i have booked tour packages to bali Indonesia through make mytrip portal. The flight and hotel including airport pickup drop was included in the package. This package was booked by me in the month of December 2019. The booking id alloted to me was NL[protected]. MMT provided me the flight of Air Asia which was tranziting through kaula lampur. There was a halt of almost 6 hours in Malaysia. Since the out break of caronavirus it was not safe for me and my family to tranzit though the infected location of Malaysia airport. So i have cancelled my tour like many other people.
                  Although it was mentioned during the booking that booking was nonrefundable, but on the humanity ground company should have refunded me some amount after leavy of some penalty. However company has shown no mercy and forfitted all the amount ( Rs 73000) which i had paid during the time of booking. The snapshot of the email sent by MMT is placed below.

                    We have recently booked a return flight ticket from mumbai to milan via muscat for the date of 1st may to 12th may through oman air. However with recent spread of coronavirus in italy whole of milan, venice and northern italy has been locked down. Moreover it will be unsafe to travel there at this point of time. Considering this as a reason beyond our control and risk involved we requested make mytrip to refund our ticket. But instead they are saying that if oman air gives the refund then only they can give us the refund. While speaking to oman air they conveyed that since we have booked through travel agency only they can process the refund. Its like we are the ping pong for both the parties and have got our money stuck. Kindly consider the matter and help us with this issue.

                      I am not getting a proper response to my request. I had specifically written on 28th important details like passport no and name are not noted in my insurance policy.

                      The only responses, i am getting is to visit their "click here" link. This link does not feature to record insurance queries. Brought to their notice but still their response is to visit the same link. I had informed youll, that i visited this link several times but query regarding to insurance is not noted in this section.

                      Makemytrip.com, inform me how you can solve my queries - for noting my passport no and nominee name in reliance insurance policy for booking id - nn[protected] and e-ticket[protected],

                        My flight from hyderabad on ahemdabad was booked for[protected] evening in goair g8 554.

                        I received a call stating the cancellation of the flight due to operational issues.
                        As a solution, i was offered an option of a refund or rescheduling the flight book on the same or one day before or after in the airline.

                        My concern is to leave hyd in the 3rd evening and reach before 10 am on the morning of the 4th.

                        As evident from the screenshots, there are flights available via the routes hyd - mumbai - ahmedabad on the same tenure.

                        However, upon the request (Multiple begging as well), i was not even allowed to talk with the senior or floor manager. Let alone the request of rescheduling the flight in the timeframe that was requested.

                        P. S :
                        1. I booked the evening flight so that i can leave after completing my work for the day.
                        2. I have a fractured leg but i am traveling only due to the importance of the meeting. I am going to meet a professor from japan, who is visiting ahemdabad to deliver a lecture in regards to my professional work.

                            We had planned a trip to singapore on 18 feb and booked hotels via makemytrip india. However, since the coronavirus outbreak took place we cancelled our trip and requested the company to provide us a refund for our hotel bookings that were already paid for. We received a refund on humanitarian grounds from both the airlines and a hotel booked via booking.com. However, v lavender hotel booked via makemytrip refused to cooperate and have not provided us refund.in fact they wanted us to travel to singapore claiming that the situation is completely under control (With 93 confirmed cases). Makemytrip had promised to help us get the refund but have so far been useless. Which means rs. 50, 000 gone to the drain. Need this to be addressed by higher authorities because, in the situation of global health emergency, we deserve to get our money back.

                              Dear mr. Deep kalra,

                              I have just completed a holiday booked thru mmt. My relationship manager ms. Vibha chopra is copied in the email i sent to mmt.

                              My complaint:-

                              1. The holiday was a land tour so hotels - 4* and private cab from 16 feb to 21 feb were booked and paid in advance.
                              2. I was promised a welcome by mmt person with a local sim at arrival. No one received me and no sim was provided. I tried to buy a sim in the city but no one sold it to a foreigner. I had to borrow a sim from the driver and recharge it. Had i known this, i would have taken a sim from the airport itself. I had enquired about sim two times before my travel and was told that i will get it from mmt person at the airport.
                              3. I had booked all 4 star hotels but found that the hotel quality at bentota was not 4*. I had a stained toilet seat, dirty grey looking towels, no toiletries except cheap looking soap and shampoo. The tea making facility was bad. Just a plate, tea bags, sugar and 2 cups. No tray, spoons. Had to ask for it multiple times and got it may be in 30 mnts after asking them. I am attaching the photos from this hotel.
                              4. Hotel at kandy and colombo was booked with a twin beds and not double bed.
                              5. Most frustrating part was that i was promised a drop on 21 feb (Obviously i was charged for it a big amount). But there was no cab available for this. I had dropped multiple messages to mmt - ms. Vibha and mr. Chandan about it. But as usual no response from any one of them. I had to finally take a local cab from hotel, which charged me a hefty amount again.

                              6. The response from mmt agent was a big issue as i never got a prompt response even when the agent was online on whatsapp. Later i just got either excuses or that some one else will contact me. Which also never happened.

                              This is the cheating makemytrip did with me as they charged me for 4 star hotels and cab for 5 days and delivered lesser quality hotels and no cab on the last day.

                              I have written to their customer service and mr. Deep kalra, ceo makemytrip. I also have tweeted at makemytrip twitter handle multiple times.

                              Well i am yet to receive any response from makemytrip.

                              I am sure i will think twice before booking next trip thru mmt.

                              The customer care of Makemytrip called to tell me that they cannot do anything. They are good when you book the tour once you pay - who are you to them...they got the sale and the money but you will not even get half the worth. You cannot complain as no one will listen to you...

                                unfair higher fare charged by lying that there was fare rise

                                I booked a ticket yesterday night through MMT and the fare is showing as Rs.118231 at the airlines but Mmt has charged 129993 -the airline itinerary shows the correct fare but on offline booking the agent Rishiraj Kashyap wasted my time on call by talking unnecessary things and then all of a sudden said that fare had increased by the airline and forced me to pay additional amount.Even now Cleartrip etc are showing that there are seats available...

                                Reference no.[protected]Booking id nn[protected] the refund on e flight ticket mumbai - kathmandu-mumbai amount rs 13050 is still not received in my bank card account although ticket was cancelled online at their website on 15th feb 2020. Mail communication is still on without any result. Further the cancellation charges in this agent is high compared to others like goibibo as my recent experience.

                                  MakeMyTrip have started new visa service last year, I was planning to go to singapore and send them passport details and money for visa for me and my kids. Next day they called and said tickets are compulsory for Singapore visa since my travelling dates were not clear due to coaching classes I couldn’t book tickets so I cancelled visa application, I paid for 3 visa application, they say they’ll refund it in 15 days but not refunded till now as of I check my statement if the refund is to my credit card, I also want confirmation from them, there is not specific costumer care department for visa section and tickets and other section people say they can’t help me with this. So I am trying to contact MMT for past 7 months about this visa cancellation refund but no help, I even sent mail to their customer care but no response

                                  This is not resolved some guys took money from my account in the name of help desk from consumer complaints.in I have give police complaint, such a waste forum, thieves everywhere glory to india

                                    Flight of air tanzania was delayed in jnb by about more than 2hr 30 minute which was supposed to reached by 12:45 pm at jnb whereas air tanzania was reached at after 15:15 on date 19/08/2019.

                                    This flight departed from mumbai about 1-1.30 hours or about 7 am instead of 5.50 am. It reached to dar a salem at about 12pm (Local time) which was supposed to reach at 9.40 am (Local time). And then connecting flight lended to johannesburg at about 3.30 pm (Local time) which supposed to reach at 12.45 pm (Local time). And so that we missed our next flight to maseru which was at 3 pm from jnb.

                                    After lot of requests on the help desk, air tanzania responsible person came at international transfer desk and then he has provided us accommodation for the night and when asked for the new ticket for the missed maseru flight of south african airlines, he told that his duty time is over and also next flight is on the next day so they'll give solution on next day morning at the help desk.

                                    On next day morning, no any responsible person came from air tanzania at the airport to give us the solution. We also tried to contact air tanzania but no any response from their side also. Makemytrip executive also tried to contact air tanzania but even after waiting for about an hour no any response from their side also. And there was only 1 flight available for johannesburg to maseru in which seats were available so that we've to book it at any cost which is at zar 8342.86

                                      I am writing here in connection with the above flight which i have booked onto on 24th november, 2019 with booking id nn[protected].
                                      The flight was supposed to depart from singapore at 5:30 hrs on 11 feb, 2020, but was cancelled by airline due to outbreak of coronavirus in wuhan, china.

                                      According to scoot airlines announcement over the cancelled flights, i am entitled to the 100% refund against my unused itineray via original payment mode. According to my enquiry with the airline, the scoot airline has already refunded the entire amount to makemytrip. This flight was cancelled by the airline so nor the airline or makemytrip is liable to deduct any part of the amount as any kind of fee.

                                      But makemytrip has only refunded me a part of the amount paid which is around rs. 19222 out of rs. 23934.

                                      I am looking forward to receive the outstanding amount of rs. 4712. And also request to provide the breakup on refund.

                                      I tried to reach makemytrip through email [protected]@makemytrip.com and even through app where they have already closed the forum just after incomplete refund.

                                      I attach a copy of the ticket, screenshot of refund amount received and details of refund already collected by makemytrip from scoot airline.

                                      Why MakeMyTrip is too slow to respond to their customers when they have complaints. Otherwise, they show themselves as very welcoming at the time of booking.
