Last year feb-mar i booked a flight ticket with makemytrip from lhr to bangalore, which was cancelled at last moment and till now i didn't get the refund.

Due to cancellations at last moment i had to pay extra, makemytrip could have informed in advance but they didn't. They acted very irresponsible in this case.

Every time they say they are waiting a response from airlines.

    My flight booking from trichy to riyadh on march 13 through make my trip was not done successfully, on the same day i received the mail from make my trip as refund money processed & the money will be reflect my account in 3 working days but still i didn't receive my money. I need to verify the status and refund my money immediately.

      This is with reference to my booking id nn[protected] for a flight of narita airport, tokyo from mumbai. The duration of the tour was from 12th to 24th march. Owing to the coronavirus outbreak, i had to cancel my flight. When i spoke to the makemytrip executives, i was told that i will not get any refund. However, the airline said that they were giving 100% refunds to everyone. After numerous calls mmt finally agreed to contact the airline regarding the issue. On 2nd of march, mmt sent me an email stating that i will receive a refund with 6 working days. It has been 15 days, yet i haven't received a refund. Every call made by me to the toll free number made me wait for 15 minutes and eventually didn't get connected. I haven't been able to contact mmt either. Highly disappointed by the service provided by mmt.

        I had booked a flight ticket for 16th july 2020 but i had to book for 16th march so i cancelled it and asked for refund and i booked a flight for 16th march 2020 again.. Please i kindly request you to refund it. I had complaint it in a special cancellation but nobody responded to it... I really need my money to be refunded... I would really ask you to respond to this mail.. Because it's an emergency. I really need you to contact me.

          Tickets were booked from make my trip for bombay to goa and goa to bombay

          Vistara airlines pnr - s8s2sr bombay to goa - 18th march 2020

          Go air pnr - b9l7rt goa to mumbai - 22nd march 2020

          Dear sir/ madam, due to corona virus i am canceling my tickets but make my trip is showing no refund.

          There is also a notification from the goverment of india that full refunds will be given by airlines in case of cancellation.

          I have also spoken with vistara airlines and they have told that they will be refunded full money but i need to speak with make my trip.

          Now when i am trying to cancel my tickets from make my trip site, it shows that no refund will be given

            Dear team
            We have booked 2night and 3 days stay at hotel the park river hotel in baga, goa for the dates 12march to 14the march. While searching it was showing price plus taxes. We have given the gst no at the time of reservation.
            Now we are getting the gst invoice showing 0 gst. How it can be possible a hotel bill without gst. If gst was not there then how it is showing on your website.
            This is completely wrong. Kindly send your invoice with clearly showing gst.

              I booked hotel through make my trip on 20th feb, 2020. Booking id nh[protected]. Travel date 24th feb, 2020 to 29th feb, 2020. Payable amount rs. 15289/-

              Amount got deducted twice from my account.
              Transaction reference numbers

              I paid this amount through axis bank credit card. Statement generates on 18th of every month thus i cannot provide statement yet. Checked with axis bank, they confirmed that amount credited to vendors account.

              I am following up with make my trip team since 25th feb, 2020 regarding same. Following complaint numbers generated so far.

              However, i am not getting proper response from mmt team. They are just assuring me that they are working on it. Its been more than 25 days and i have not received any refund yet. I am not getting any positive response from mmt.

                We booked the flight ticket in goibibo & make my trip portals in the last 3 week of feb 2020 for the travel a round ticket from bangalore to sanfransico. This is for 8 students and one faculty member on 17th march 2020 to 26th march 2020, as they have to attend silicon valley meetup-2020 in stanford university, california usa.

                Sir, as per who health emergency declaration, us banned the passengers travelling from/through europe to enter the country, added the event itself got postponed to 20th august to 24th august 2020. This pandemic had titled the life support systems and when this is applicable to all the people across the globe, why the cancellation fees. Why not penalty be waived off?

                When we requested for the cancellation of the flight ticket, there is no response from either make my trip or goibibo. With a lot of persuasion, we are connected but asking us to cancel from delta airlines directly. Very easily the buck is passed to airlines.

                Only one time in 6 days, we got connected with the customer care executive.

                When we requested for cancellation, executive says there will be a deduction/loss of rs.22k towards the cancellation. When there is problem across the globe and why not the airlines are instructed to do free cancellation. Why should the customers be penalized for such a global pandemic situation. For the act of god, there should be some empathetic approach from goibibo and make my trip people.

                The worst part is we cancelled it from delta, but mmt is asking our students to check in and the tickets are not cancelled. How come a commoner to meet all these expenses?
                Can somebody address this problem?

                  I booked an air ticket through make my trip (Mmt) and travelling date is 2 april. Now my travel plan has post poned for some reason but make my trip) mmt not paying anything if i will process cancellation further even there are still 18 days pending for my travel.

                  How much justify is this not to pay even a single penny to customer who didn't even travel and cancelling 18 days before the travel.
                  How they can justify any convience fees and tax without even providing a service to customer.

                    I booked emirates airlines tickets for me and my wife for 23rd march 2020 from dubai to chennai and return ticket also emirates for me on 27th march 2020 from chennai to dubai only for me. Due to coronavirus we don't want to stay in dubai as my wife got conceived, so we planned to leave dubai early. I tried to change the tickets online and i couldn't, it said i've to contact customer service. I tried so many times to contact but nobody answered, i've waited for about 20 minutes each call. I chose different ivr option like ticket booking someone's picked up but they said they can't hear me after i said to change the tickets dates. They are cheating very much. I contacted local office which is in chennai to change the dates, but they said i've to call customer care only.

                    I booked other tickets and i lost around 21000 rupees because of them. Now i'm trying to call again to at least change my return ticket date to dubai but there's no use and i'm going to lose another 10000 rupees also for this ticket. It's really disappointed because emirates airlines giving 100% money return for their tickets return and they're not charging for any ticket change. It's my suggestion to everyone don't go for makemytrip.com

                    They are saying I'll get store credit after 71 days and I've to use that within Feb 2021 which is impossible for me to travel during this time period, I bought 3 tickets round ticket for me and one way ticket for my wife. She got pregnant and she'll not travel for another 2 years, even I explained them they're not considering, they called 2-3 times regarding this issue and they finally sent a mail that saying case is closed. I don't know what to do?

                      I've booked 2 indigo tickets on makemytrip for 25-30 march mum - katmandu-mum

                      Due to coronavirus the visa on arrival is cancelled and govt has advised no travel.

                      Dgca has also said flight cancellation is free! Indigo is giving a free cancellation/rescheduling but mmt is not answering or responding on any platform.

                      How do i get them to cancel and refund my money?

                        Money deducted from MMT but not got any ticket this type of fraud is not expected from MMT I am a frequent user of MMT but now I think it's high time to aware everyone about the fraud of MMT. TomorrowMy husband had an emergency thatswhy we trusted MMT but money deducted within ticket and money is not refunded after 24 hrs.date of ticket booking is 13th march 2020. Even MMT customer care is of no use, each and every number is fake. Their is no way to connect MMT so we are planning to lodge a police case against MMT

                          I have raised refund claim online, spoken to customer service multiple times but still not received refund for over 6 months. Booking id : nn[protected]
                          Passenger name : sukla ghosh. Refund claimed in september/october 2019 as jet airways did not operate.
                          I'm not even sure if you have processed my refund claim with nclt (National company law tribunal). I have asked for evidence on twitter. And every time i get a stock answer: will let you know progress of refund

                            I did a hotel booking through makemytrip for 7th march for stay at kaziranga, but due to the problem of coronavirus, we were not able to take this trip. Even in the local news channel it was shown that a foreigner who was tested positive with coronavirus had visited kaziranga and hence even kaziranga festival got cancelled. I have asked makemytrip for a date change or cancellation or credit the amount to my wallet but they are not taking up the matter n saying the whole amount will be forfeited. I’m a salaried person n for me 15k is a big amount. I need justice for this. Request if you can do something about this

                              Since 2 days no one is picking up the call, my flights timings got changed and i don’t wish to travel now, but there isn’t any response and no is picking up or replying back! I don’t know how and what to do now. My flight is on 27th of this month and when i am trying to cancel the flight it’s showing the error and for new bookings they are responding immediately.

                                I have booked a domestic flight from Kolhapur to Bangalore for 13th March 2020 but since I am unable to travel on 13th, I wanted to cancel my flight.
                                I made numerous efforts but make my trip is not at all assisting in cancellation of flights .Guess they DNT want to give the partial refund also.
                                I had a chat with chat support Myra but in vain.
                                I called the customer care many times, the call would be on for 30 mins and more but none of the customer care executive picked the call.
                                I couldn't cancel my tickets at all .
                                Please help me in this . The air fare for the date was Also very high.

                                  I have booked a flight on makemytrip with txn i'd nn[protected] and paid the amount by 2 gift cards, 10000 and 15000 each i was unable to pay the remaining amount so my booking failed but my balance has been deducted from my gift cards kindly refund the money to my gift vouchers. Only 10000 rupees gift card processed which was also not credited yet. 15000 gift card refund yet to be processed. No chat response no call response by mmt customer care.

                                    I have booked a flight ticket from Doha to Bangalore for a journey scheduled on 25th March 2020 through Makemytrip.com

                                    The below are the details of the flight.

                                    IX-476 - Doha to Kochi
                                    IX-486 - Kochi to Bengaluru

                                    But, 5 Days back, I received a mail from airlines stating that the flight service has been cancelled.

                                    So, I want to cancel my ticket and I can do it only through makemytrip website. I tried connecting to the customer care for the past 4 days (atleast 5-10 times a day). But the support people are not attending my request and putting my call in hold.

                                    When I call the support for new booking, they are responding immediately. I am highly unsatisfied and upset with the responses form the makemytrip support team.

                                    I have raised my queries to chatbot MYRA regarding the issue. But it couldn't help me out.

                                    There is an option provided in the website "Claim a Refund". But it is telling "Oops something went wrong" and I couldn't complete the process.
                                    And also, there is no cancellation option provided in the site.

                                    I have also tried contacting the airlines support. but there is no response from their side.

                                      I parveen yadav (Booking id nl[protected] had booked a international travel package (Europe including france and switzerland). I was travelling for my honeymoon with my wife. I paid a whooping 2.8lacs excluding visa fees. However because of corona virus i had to cancel my booking. I kept on calling mmyt customer case but they were adamant that travel is safe and i should go ahead. It was really insensitive of them to take the matter so lightly. Even when i dropped them a mail to cancel my trip, it was cancelled only after 2 days. But mmyt is not willing to refund even a single penny. This is not acceptable at all. This is something which was not in my hands. How can they charge the whole amount as cancellation charges.
