I bought an idol fountain for 12, 500. It was delivered after 15 days and there was a visible crack on the product. I gave return item on the product along with the picture of the broken product.
A customer service rep called me and said the original product on the site also has the same crack (this is lie since I zoomed as much as I can and could not find any damn thing on the product in their website after this call). I asked him whether they are selling product knowing that it is broken and he started to blabber that it is the finish of the product(well trained or too much of practical knowledge cheating other customers). Finally he said I can't do anything we wont take your order for return.
So their policy is NO RETURN AFTER PURCHASE EVEN IF THE ITEM WE SOLD IS BROKEN.

We have a company policy where if the customer don’t like the product ordered from Pepperfry and also if it is not as expected case in such cases unfortunately we can’t take the return. Even in quality issue we do not take the return.

They sold me a 3rd rate WaterPurifier whose MRP is Rs. 7250 at Rs. 4899 but claimed to have given me a Rs. 12000 discount that'd make the original price at 16899 almost Rs. 17000.
This product needs to be installed ONLY by the manufacturer, other the 3-month warranty on electronic parts is void !! And of course, I have to pay Rs. 499 for the installation which is a 1 minute job of connecting the water pipe to the unit !!
Total fraudsters. And yes, they will not accept any returns. Product has to have arrived defective. So basically, they have NO returns policy.
They do not mention any of these details on their website. It is all carefully concealed.
Pepperfry needs to be put out of business.
