Pepperfry — Refusing return for poor quality product

I purchased a sideboard almost six months back and wood has already started falling apart. The drawer broke into two pieces and on asking for warranty, pepperfry claims its a usage issue so no warranty can be provided. The product is under 3yrs warranty. I have already got it serviced twice because of quality issues and now I need a return this product because it’s exteremly low in quality.

Dear Nimita, The Item was purchased on 23/12/2021 at 21:30:05 and had a warranty of 36 months. The warranty covers any defect as per the terms and conditions laid out by the manufacturer. Your product seems to have been damaged due to usage, which does not come under warranty terms & conditions. Therefore, I regret to inform you that we won't be able to accept a return/repair request for this purchase.

Can you let us how you concluded it’s a usage issue and not a manufacturing defect.
It was confirmed by the visiting carpenter only that it’s a manufacturing defect as there are gaps within the joints is because of usage of wet wood during manufacturing and the gaps increased more during summers when the wood became dry. In the pics shared the rest of the product is in excellent condition ie not a single scratch in the product.
It’s completely unethical of Pepperfry not taking responsibility of such manufacturing defects. Not expecting from a brand like pepperfry.

Please have a look at the image of the product. Look at the size of the nails that has been used in drawers. Look at the gap on the joints. Do you still think this is usage issue when rest of the sideboard does not have a single scratch. The drawer came out when i barely opened it 5 times in entire 5 months. #shameperrperfry for making your customers fool.

they are still selling it for 36K. #bewareofpepperfry product. PLEASE DON't BUY this extremely poor quality product.
Again no response from Pepperfry.
