I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and file a complaint against PVR INOX for providing misleading information on their website and mobile application regarding the acceptance of INOX PVR passes for booking tickets. Despite fulfilling all conditions for the 4Dx format on a weekday, I was unable to book tickets for Deadpool 3 due to an error stating that my pass was invalid.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that the terms and conditions were updated on July 8, 2024, which was not reflected on the website or app even after 20 days. This lack of transparency and failure to update the information in a timely manner constitutes a violation of consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
I request PVR INOX to take immediate action to:
1. Provide a full refund for the attempted booking
OR
2. Allow me to book Deadpool 3 for July 29 at 1 PM at PVR Gandhi Path, Jaipur
AND
3. Update their website and app to reflect the revised terms and conditions accurately
Failure to resolve this issue promptly will compel me to file a complaint with the Consumer Court under Section 2(1)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, for misleading practices and false claims. Was this information helpful? |
