Sir,
I would like to put your kind knowledge that since last 6 months,all the street lights in the colony have been disconnected during the replacement of LT cables.
We requested the concerned authorities for restoration of the said lights from time to time but all in vein since it have become diffcult to move during the evenings and at any time mishappenings can occure in the colony.
For your kind knowledge we are giving hereunder the details of complaints .

    Reg:- False/malafied allegation /penalty on senior citizen of India by BSES Rajdhani Power Limited
    Ref:- BSES Rajdhani Power Limited Bill No.AGENR[protected] dated 02/01/2006 and referred the matter to Chief Minister of Delhi and also to Public Grievance Cell but no response till date.

    1.I, Karan Singh S/o Late Sh. Tofa Ram R/o MIG Flat no.38, IInd floor,Pocket-3, Sector 19, Dwarka, New Delhi.
    2.I am 70+ old retired from Railway Mail Service (RMS) as Mail Man. In my entire service and life I have not received this type of order that is dishonest but now BSES charged me as dishonest at the age of 70+.
    3.The BSES Rajdhani Power Limited speaking order/case no.AG[protected] dt.21/02/2006 is Pro BSES Rajdhani and one sided. That BSES Rajdhani Power Limited order says that Meter has been installed by BSES the responsibility of the Consumer to protect the Meter from tempering and to keep it in safe custody. I would like to inform your honour that Eight Meters are installed on the ground Floor and it is neither locked nor closed boxes keys etc provided to the consumer and every body is free to do any thing with the meter.
    4.I have already inform BSES Rajdhani Power Limited that I have not even changed any point of BSES fitting till date in the house itself then how I can change the wire.
    5.The BSES Rajdhani Power Limited Order says that Consumer was present at the site it was totally false and denied by me because at that time I was ill and not in a position to move without help of other only BSES staff inform to my daughter in law and me too at the IInd floor and Meter is installed on the ground floor. BSES staff got my signature by informing me that we want to change the meter so signed on it and I had signed in good faith.
    6.Orders says that Meter Seal was Broken then earlier no engineering/inspecting officer of BSES staff informed me that meter seal is broken but penalty is levied with back date.
    7.I was compelled to deposit the Money with a threatening to disconnect the electricity connection because of Monopoly of BSES. I had to deposit the money by taking loan from relatives and friends because I was getting a pension Rs.2800/= per month only.
    8. In my total service I had not received this type of order i.e. dishonest but BSES blamed me at the age of 70 which mentally disturbing me who is a heart/TB patient also.
    Through this letter I request your honour to Advice BSES for installing Meter in lock and key separately and take next 6 months average before charging me with the dishonest and penalty as levied by the BSES.
    With folded hand I request your honour to instruct BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd to withdraw the allegation of dishonest abstraction of energy and also instruct the department for refund of my money with interest which I have deposited under threat of BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd.

    II WANT TO COMPLAINT ABOUT ELCTRICITY THEFT ON VERY VERY HIGH SCALE IN KHYALA .
    PLEASE CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE . I HAVE FULL PROOF ABOUT THEFT.
    My Mother is facing a similar problem, Could you please elaborate as to what is the next step after receiving the speaking order. To me it seems that BSES is trying to taint people.

      Dear Sir,

      This is regarding BSES Complaint No.[protected] Dated 28th August 2009 for repair Street Light in our Street. Electrician from BSES neither come to repair the street light which was not working from August nor Call me regarding the same. I have called many times in BSES Call center no. 39999707, they always told me that " Sir We have forward your complaint in High Priority basis and your problem will be solve in next 48 hours. But problem is same, no action regarding this. so i request you to please do something for the same. i really thankful to you.

      But Still no action is taken by Electricity Department.
      Why is it not done and When It will be possible.

        There is continuous sparking in BSES electric meter since 9th September'09, and there is no electric supply. We lodged a complaint in this regard with BSES Sector 13 office in Dwarka with a Dairy no. 6677 on 9th September. However no BSES engineer came to attend the complaint.
        Since then we are lodging a complaint on a daily basis but of no avail. Our last two complaint nos. are 2646 dated 14th September and 2680 dated 15th September.

        Our BSES meter KNO. is 2661 W153 1794 and CRN no. is [protected].
        Address where meter is not functional is :
        Flat no. 502, Sector 18B, L&T Flats, Phase 2, Dwarka.
        Contact no. [protected].

        In case the fault is not rectified by today, then I will have no option but to get the meter sparking corrected through a private electrician who will temper the seal of meter.

        SPARKING IN METER AND NO ELECTRICITY

        There is continuous sparking in BSES electric meter since 10th August

          The enforment department of BSES Rajdhani Ltd. was conducted raids and loadging fake cases of wrong/excess usage of power/Theft & demanding money,if you are not giving them the demaded money,they will lodging complaint of theft case without any base and customers are not even aware it,later on sending the inflated bill of Rs. 78000/- and their staff in grievenace are ready to listen ,in return their junior staff will come & threat for disconnection ecltricity and lodging of FIR against the User. we have request that SOME STRICT CATION SHOULD BE INTIATED AGAINST ABOVE SAID COMPANY FOR SUCH MALPRACTICES. So that common should not suffer. we are ready to fight a legal case against the company.KIndly advise,how can we fight it out case and get back the hrad earned money bach from them.

            Dear Sir,

            My electricity bill increased exorbitantly immediately on change of old meter to electronic meter. Details of my bi-monthly consumption o[censored]nits for previous period are as - Oct.08 (786), Dec.08 (482), Feb.09 (390) April, 09 (396), June, 09 (608).

            However, on installation of new meter for the reasons better known to you, on 23.07.2009 my consumption for August, 2009 increased to 1141 units i.e. multiple increase from the past average consumption. Resultantly Bill also increased manifold i.e. from approx. Rs.[protected] to Rs.4360/-. This bill is likely to increase further because in this bill half of period was old meter.

            Please look into the matter and help a service class person.

                Dear Sir/Madam,

                This is with reference to the over inflated bill that we received for July 09.

                Our Jul 08 consumption was 760 units, whereas it has been shown as 2078 in July 09 bill.(Bill No. 682652.

                How is it that there is a jump of nearly 3 times in the electricity consumed ?

                While I might have paid the bill, this does not take away the fact that there has been a massive misappropriation. Please note that this is an actual not an approximate bill.

                You need to take immediate account of this and ensure that the due amount is credited into the next billing cycle.

                BSES — Inflated bill

                The bill is twice the amount of the last month. Usually my bills are for Rs. 1700/-, but this month I have received a bill for Rs. 3470/-. I spoke to the Customer Care of BSES, but they did not provided any information or help. I am a resident of D-6, Vasant Kunj.
                June 2014, all residents of Siddhartha Extension Pocket C (near Ashram Chowk) have got inflated billing. Me & My neighbours have been `uniformly' billed at Rs. 10, 000/- per head for no rhyme or reason. Previously the bill would be Rs. 2000/- per month, then the billing increased to Rs. 4000/- per month, then the billing increased to Rs. 6000/- & now it is whopping Rs. 10, 000/- per month.

                BSES is using incorrect practices...

TARLOK SINGH,R/O E-27,WZ-452B SECOND FLOOR STREET NO 24 SHIV NAGAR NEW DELHI-110058.METER IS KEPT STOPPED MOST OF THE TIME & ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES (A/C, MOTOR ETC. ARE RUNNING DAY/NIGHT) Same has been repeatedly reported to the company without any action .
                  we would to like bring notice your control.that HOUSE NO. 207/18, BLOCK, DAKSHIN PURI, SECTOR-V, DDA FLATS, NEW DELHI - 110062.STEALING LIGHT FROM DIRECT POLE, pole no.187.last ten (10) years ago.that people runing a bar dance daily, and used full volume sound music system.we are retired and sick person from heart diseses living here we are faceing very grate problem from them daily.we are requesting your department PLEASE TAKE NESSERY ACTION FOR ABOVE SAID PERSON

                      Subject :- Error in Electricity Bills & Meter Unit.

                      Dear Sir,

                      I am Chander Bhan and my New K.No.1220 0F030178 , CRN No.[protected] of 11KW meter. I am doing complaints against electricity meter reading units recording and maintain wrong bills again consumed units in august, previous months and your staff member working, bad behavior of East Delhi- Krishna Nagar office. I have so many proofs against errors in electricity meter reading unit recording and maintain wrong bills. According August bill, we Consumed 1481 units but if you see our consumed units in 10 year, we had not consumed 1481 units any month. Our monthly consumed units’ almost only 400-500units per months. I have so many proofs against error in meter reading unit recording and maintain wrong bills and bad behavior of your staff members. If you go your East Delhi – Krishana Nagar office personally then you understand about all thing.

                      My first proof against wrong meter unit recording is, Your staff not maintain meter reading unit recording of my Electricity Meter, they were lost 11Kw meter reading units of August and previous months so they try to prevent their jobs through loaded new self make wrong figure reading units in our systems and loading in my (consumer) electricity meters in my absence .They were loaded at least 4 times more units of monthly average units. We are not consumed 1481 Units in August month because we had not used air-conditioner and cooler and more electricity consumed items. And seasonally, August month is raining season for Delhi. They had loaded wrong meter reading units in our electricity meters and change and increased the electrical speed of our electricity meter for prevent their jobs or political reason. I attached our 3 months current bills for your analzation and find out the error of wrong units which are loaded in systems and maintain wrong bill with wrong monthly calculation. So 100% fault of your staff members working and your side.

                      Secondly Proof is against making of wrong bill of wrong mention units of August 2009. Because we received monthly units consumed basis but they do error and lost data and try to prevent their jobs through sending two month consumed unit’s bills. For your knowledge we already paid july 2009 bills but they are sending July-august combined bill for hiding theirs mistake. You will find the error in calculation of august month reading units (wrong recorded). So many faults in your staff member working and knowledge. I attached the calculation sheet of august month bill of wrong units loaded and our 3 months bills scan copies. Please analyze all bills and calculation with your senior ness knowledge. And your staff member included peon thinks that they king of this country. That is wrong of country and for you and public.

                      Please help me about this matter. I have lots of hope from you. Please refunded the all deposited money by me against wrong bills and make perfect bill of June to august months bills on 1 or 2 years average basis and reset and rechecked with perfect configuration of my electricity meter.

                      If you have any objection or query regarding above matter please discussion with me and try to find and slove the problems of public.

                        Hi,

                        I am a consumer with BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd vide CA No.[protected] and CRN No. [protected]. My electricity consumption bill comes around 450 units, however this month I was surprised to find out that my Bill has come to the tune of 1553 Units. My usage bill was approx Rs.[protected].

                        The charges shown in the current bill are way above my wildest imagination, keeping in mind just Two adults living in the house. The other day I saw in a daily newspaper many harassed consumers like me who are billed for no fault of theirs.

                        I would like to file a complaint with your office so that this is taken to its logical ends.

                          I am resident of O-29-T camp, Khichripur-110091, Dist. Mayur Vihar, Circle East, New Delhi and holding BSES Yamuna Power electricity connection vide CRN No. [protected]. The Electric cable through which my connection has been provided is old, torn and with joints thereby leading to frequent power failures or electrical tripping.

                          It is apprehended that their might be short circuiting and subsequent fire which may en danger the life of the residence as well as loss to the property.

                          May I request you to kindly direct the concerned staff to immediately rectify the defect by way of replacement of the cable or alternatively, a dedicated cable may please be provided to my residence for which, I am willing to pay cost of the cable as per norms.

                            I applied for power enhancement on 25-09-04 ,along with name change vide application norsE[protected] and E[protected].
                            I was asked to pay Rs.3500 on 13th May 2005.
                            I payed the same on the very date ie[protected]
                            I made may be 50 rounds of Patel Nagar Office at my ripe age of 70 years.
                            As of today the cable has not been changed.
                            I request that iether the cable be changed immidiately or if it is not needed, my money,may be returned with iinterest at the earliest..

MY CR NO OF CONNECTION IS [protected].I REGISTERED COMPLAINT WITH BSES LTD, ON 26 AUGEST2009.THAY HAVE TAKEN OUT FRESH BILL REDUCING THE TOATAL AMOUNT BY AROUND RS 2000/-.MY BILL IS STILL VERY HIGH.IN PAST,I HAVE PAID BILL OF AMOUNT RS 250PER MONTH.I HAVE APPROACHED CONCERNED OFFICERS OF BSES SITTING AT FRIENDS COLONY.BUT THEY ARE NOT PERPARED TO LISTEN.SINCE MY SALARY PER MONTH IS RS 5000. THERE IS NO WAY THAT I MAY BE SPENDING MORE THEN RS 3000 ON ELECTRICITY. I WOULD REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY INTERVENE AND GET RECTIFIED THE NECESSARY ANOMALY IN BILLING.

                                Sir/Madam,

                                This is with reference to the complaint against electricity bill. The above meter is in the name of Shri B K Puri vide connection no. K.No.: 2521 G513 0200 and CRN No.: [protected] R/o 8284 C-8 Vasant Kunj-110070. We received the electricity bill for the period of 15.06.2009 to 17.08.2009 and I got shocked when I saw the bill i.e. for Rs 1,930.00. Last bill, which I was paid for the month of May and June 2009 was for Rs. 980/-, which is the averave payment we were doing as per the records.

                                This is excess billing need to be checked properly at your end which can be due to not proper reading taken by the executive authorized for this area.
                                I am domestic consumer and my electric consumption is very low. There is no AC at my home which could have justified the bill consumption.

                                Therefore you are kindly requested to please correct/rectify the bill in the next cycle and take necessary action..

                                  Meter no. 2610102528 - going very fast

                                  the above said meter was installed at my residence, the bill has been raised for the month of April - June09 for 1340 units and the amount was Rs. 4900.00 against which now I received bill for the month of July - August09 for 2942 units and the amount of Rs. 13500 to be paid to BSES.

                                  There is no check system on this how the general public proove that the digital electric meters which has been fixed by BSES Delhi at my residence...

                                  I as a tenant, got new electricity connection at my shop No.20, Banjara Camp, M.B. Road,Khanpur New delhi110062 by depositing security deposit of Rs.1500/- vide demand No. No.08092382 dt. 16.10.08. Meter No.24234010, CRN No.[protected]. I also paid bills received upto March-April, 2009, the same being in my name.
                                  To my surprise the bill No.429305 dt. 6.8.09 received at my shop is in the name of one Shri Sunder Lal with the same address. When I brought this to the notice of your concerned officials in your office at Pul Prahladpur, Badarpur, New delhi110044 to rectify this mistake, they gave evasive reply and flately refused to change the name. This has been got done by Shri Sunder Lal by conspiring with your officials and greasing their palms. Sir, how a new electricity connection for which I have made payment of due charges can be changed in the name of other person without my consent.
                                  I hope that my name will be restored in the record of electricity connection of my shop at the earliest and the bills will be sent in my name, failing which I will be compelled to file FIR in Police and takeup the matter in a court of law/consumer forum for redressal of my grievances.The involved persons of your office should also be punished for such a conspiracy/ illegal act.

                                    On 4.02.2009, at about 6.30, one person rang me by cell no – [protected] then by falsely telling his name (fake name as Mukesh) asked me to pay Rs.15000 to him in sealed packet otherwise he will tamper my electricity meter installed on the ground floor of Vikas Tower (My office is on the third floor B-302 in Vikas Tower) otherwise he will tamper my electricity meter key no.2650W1330340 & will implicate me in an electricity theft case. It is made clear that when I came to my office then I found that a printed paper in the shape of notice from BSES Rajdhani Power Limited was found a fixed on the electric meter.


                                    I was terrified and frightened so I agreed to pay him Rs.15000 and he told me that one of his office boy will come to my office and I should handover this money to him. The boy came to my office at about 7.45 pm. He was removing the notice from the meter and tampering the meter also & by chance we caught him in the process. While he was attempting to do so we caught him red handed and we brought him to our office. We asked him everything and he us told that the BSES person (Fake name Mukesh/Jain) instructed him to carry out this process on his behalf & to bring the money at an unspecified location near by Metro Station, Kakrola Morh.


                                    We have obtained a written confession from the boy name Subhash Chander. We are attaching the same along with his photograph.


                                    Today at about 3.30 pm some people from BSES who told themselves from enforcement
                                    Staff came on the ground floor of the Vikas Tower complex and started taking the photographs. When we asked them who they were and why they were taking photographs of the electricity meters, they told us that they were from the Enforcement Department of BSES and they were here because there was a telephonic complaint against us and therefore they had come on a raid of the meters.

                                    We also came to know from the person caught by us that the name of Mukesh( person from BSES) is actually Mr.Jain and this Subhash told us that in the night between 3rd and 4th of February Night, he himself had tampered our meter and had fixed the above notice.

                                    The notice was found to be fake by the BSES Enforcement team and they told us that they had not fixed this notice nor was it signed by them.

                                    By the above said episode we are sure that this is a parallel racket and some employ of BSES is working behind this racket.

                                    We are hereby enclosing the following documents:

                                    1. Writing by they who tampered the electric Meter Key No : 2650W1330340
                                    2. Photograph the person (Subhash) who tampered with the meter.
                                    3. Fake Notice affixed by the above person.
                                    4. Photocopies of received & missed calls on the mobile from the person (Mr. Mukesh /
                                    Mr. Jain)

                                    Sir for your reference I have attached a copy of the fir given to the vikas puri police station DT 06/02/2009. Also attached is the photograph and confession of the person who was sent to me to collect the bribe along with copy of fake notice attached on my meter.
                                    Sir I request you to kindly check the video recording of your enforcement team as while they were recording the tampered meter I was being blackmailed once again on speakerphone and the same has been recorded in the evidence.

                                    In accordance to the great faith in the system I hope that you will fully investigate this matter and not punish people like me who do-not fall prey to illegal practices.

                                    NOW I HAVE RECEIVED A THEFT ORDER TO PAY I DONT KNOW WHAT AMOUNT YET...FOR WHAT WHEN THEY WERE TAKING READING FOR 1 YR THEY DIDNT KNOW THAT METER WAS SLOW OR WHAT...

                                      I am a BSES consumer, and resident at Rzt-173 A, Part1, Jain colony, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-110059.
                                      From the last one week i am facing light fluctuation problem at my residence. Finally i called up at the BSES customer care number[protected] on 22 August 2009 and filed a complaint against the same. The complaint number given to me was 2588. But till now no one has come up from the BSES team to check the issue. I am tired of calling again and again at the custmor care number. Firstly i have to wait, as usually every time the IVR says that all the executives are busy and they will attend you shortly. When my call is attended and i asked for the status of my complant, they have no answer for that. and every time they use to say that we are again reforwarding your complaint on priority basis. but no one is there to check the problem.
