Respected Sir/Mam,
In EAST AZAD NAGAR, STREET NO-10, POST OFFICE KRISHNA NAGAR, DELH - 110 051 one Mr. RAJESH KUMAR VARUN of house number 54-A of the above mentioned locality is a habitual offender of electrity theft. Few months ago his residence was raided by the BSES, Delhi's anti theft staff members and found pilferage of electricity bypassing the electricity meter. They immediately confesticated his meter. From that day Mr. RAJESH KUMAR VARUN ENJOYING FREE OF COST ELECTRICITY WITHOUT PAYING A SINGLE PAISE FOR HIS CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRICITY WITHOUT METER. EVEN HE HAS NOT PAID ANY PENALTY TILL DATE FOR HIS MISDEED. On the other hand those persons, like myself, who has been paying for the electricity consumption feel frustrated on seeing that the great thie[censored]sing electricity without paying any charges.

I HOPE YOU WILL LOOK MY COMPLAINT SERIOUSLY AND DO YOUR BEST.

      Thanks for this forum.
      well i would like to disscuss the issue regading misleading by BSES.
      I am using my room hardly for 12 hr & using electricity for that much time only
      but they are charging bill of 1200 which is almost four folds the normal if i ask for meter check they refuse to do so, what shuld i do
      to be frank i m just using 2 tubelight, 1 fan, 1 refrigrator but still they are charging like any thing.

      BSES — Wrong Meter reading has been activated

      HI,

      This is to bring in your notice that My address is:

      East Vinod Nagar - 110091.

      This address comes under residential area and no commercial activities are being done. Even after that the meter reading is as per Industrial and not as per domestic usages.

      This problem is for the last 1.6 years, I have paid all my bills within time, however this time I came to know about this descrepency.

      Would request you to kindly look into this matter and do the needful, as there will be a good amount which need to be refunded back to me for same reason.

      I have also made complaint personally to BSES office, Mayur Vihar but all in vain.

      I have made a complaint bses customer care office on 18/06/09 comp no[protected] regarding wrong reading. but still no any response from bses side, when i complaint to bses customer care, the executive told us it will corrected as soon as possible. I don't what is meaning of as soon as possible?

      I am looking in the bses website complaint status are resolved, I don't know what mean resolved.
      These types problem are many in the mithapur extn area. Why it happening.

      Now the delhi govt subsidies are withdrawl from 1st june'09. The next month bill going very high (change slab, subsidies withdrawal etc), because of bses mistakes

      hi i m ashok my home address is plot no-35, gali no-17, electric pole no-67, block - c, near hanuman chawk qutub vihar ph-2, goyala dairy, i am very fedup of this bses customer care people whenever i call them for any problem like today from3:45 to till time 10:00PM our locality light is not comming i had call them at 7:45 pm and register my complaint (3573 dt 210809)and when i again call them at 9:30pm they ask nothing is apper in there records, , can i know from the bses sr, people that why action is not taken on my complaint, is i am not paying my bills regulerly, 2 days before also i have made a complaint but that time power is come after 1 and half day later, hope this time its not happen,

      my Question is to all reader why we give a part of our salary as tax to the govt. when our basic needs is not fullfill.

      thats the difference between TATA's and Ambanis. TATA's are royal and never do such pitty acts of earning money.

      My August bill has been inflated from Rs.13k for 60 days to Rs.20k. I wrote so many mails to CEO email id but did not get any satisfactory response and at the end i had to pay these basta... my hard earned money.

      This is in regard to the electricity bill we saw on the Internet which is Rs. 11000/= for month of August. The amount seems to be not correct and we have a single Navy Officer window staying there. How can a lady pay 11000/= who has a pension of 9000/=.           We are facing the problem of late night power cuts in our are tughlakabad extn. BSES is doing power shedding between 12:00 p.m. to 5: 00 a.m. in our area which is after we all go to sleep after whole day work. In this hot summer it is just unbearable for us as our whole night sleep got disturbed due to this. School children get late for their schools, office persons face dizziness in their office due to short & disturbed sleep hours. The suffering is big for old people. We request you to adjust your power shedding timings upto 10:00'o clock in night so that we can have at least complete sleep after whole day hard work.

            I am Jyoti Jain.I live in Mohan Garden. My full address is
            31/1, S.Extn., Mohan Garden Uttam Nagar New Delhi-110059. BSES is providing pathetic servies. Last two days there is no light in our area. We complained on phone but every time they gave us time and the whole day there was no light. There is no value of customes. They just pick the phone and said this is the fault in this rea and our engineers are working on that. They don't bother whether customer is irate or not or customer is facing a lot of problem.
            BSES is providing services according to their choice. In a day they just provide 4 to 5 hours light. We are sick and tired with their service. Even Our Chief Minister they don't bother about it. In our area there is no water service, no roads and even there is no sufficient light.

            I think if BSES cannot provide sufficient light then they should close there department.

            Pls help us and take relevant action.

            I am resident of Mayur Vihar Phase-II. The last 2 days power cut at 2.30 am, 5.30 am, 11.00 pm etc., It created great panic in the area. Because temrature & Humidity are very high these day. But BSES authorities are not bothered abount it. This procedure should stop and Government withdraw the power supply authority from BSES.
            today a boy died in a park due to current from a high power open transformer in a park in lajpat nagar ...
            dont u think u can do more ... he was the only child of his parents ... and moreover his parents can neither speak nor hear ...
            THERE CAN BE NO MORE NEGLIGENCE AND INJUSTICE ... I PLEAD YOU TO DO SOMETHING IN THIS MATTER SO THAT NO MISHAP HAPPENS AGAIN

In this regard, it is stated that I am living in a LIG flat in Mansrover Park, Shahdara, Delhi having one room set. In a one room set the consumption of 2200 units in a period of 2 months does not seems possible in domestic condition. In the past also I have not used more than average units of 650 to 750 in the two month period. This can be verified from the record of your office. Therefore, I request you to please check the meter for any default i.e RTC Factor- Reading time Circle and earth check. If any problem is found in the meter please replace it with a new meter. The photocopy of the current bill duly paid is enclosed herewith for your reference.

            The difference in the meter reading may please be adjusted in the next bill. Therefore, I request you to please check my meter as earliest possible.

            BSES is not providing good services instead of making several complaints even they could not bother to attend the complaints. I fully agree
            A Broken Electric Pole alongwith other is hanging behind my house no.1/2750, ram nagar, mandoli road, shahdara, delhi-32 for the last more than six months but till date nothing has been done for chnging it. Due to this anytime if fell down, the same has broken the property of even causing any casualty and the BSES is fully responsible for the same if any mishapening is happened due to this negligence behaviour of BSES. You are once again requested to kindly arrange to replace the same immediately as soon as possible.

            Hi,

            I'm a humble customer of BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd., My residence is at A-69, Amara colony, Kamurudin Nager, Nangloi, delhi-41, my meter K.no is 2631J5020111 and CRN No. is [protected].

            As my Meter had stopped working due to some internal sparking in meter so I gave a request to BSES to replace my Meter, for that submitted Demand note with Demand note no[protected] dated[protected], after some days some technicians from BSES came to my home for replaceing meter but I was unable at my home due to some urgent work out station, technician demanded for 500 Rs for the replaceing and testing meter but my wife refused to pay any kind of bribe for the same.

            so many times I had visted BSES office but no one ready to help me, I hope they will never help me without bribe but all I hope DERC can help me.

            If I would be defaulter why would I asked to replaced my meter, if I had not requested for replacement of my meter then I might avoided conflicts and penalities which are imposed to me and will definately have peace of mind.

            I dont know why I had done this, I had learnt from this never be honest for any one.

              Sub : Daily power cut off 15 Hrs. to 23 Hrs

              Dear Sir,

              With reference to the above, we regret to inform you that since last two months we are suffering from Daily power cut off 15 Hrs. to 23 Hrs. in your district (Vikas Puri) area of Sec-3, Sainik Enclave, Mohan Garden along with Sec.1, Raksha Enclave except Avtar Vihar & Sec.2, Sainik Enclave. It has been too difficult for us to live without power supply in such a hot & humid weather and mainly during the time for rest after whole day working.

              We are surprised to see that till now no preventive step has been taken by you. In this context we request you to focus your attention towards this problem and give us the immediate solution so as to enable us to work properly for the betterment of our Family & Nation.

              Subject : CHEATED BY YOUR STAFF AND DIV HEAD MR. R SRINIWASAN

              Reference is made to my first complaint dated 04.12.2009 and 16.12.2009

              I have the hoour to state following few line for your information and necessary action.

              ( a ) That Electricity Meter bearing K No.[protected] insalled at premises No.1882, Ward No. VIII Gali Thakhat Wali, Kucha Pati Ram, Delhi - 110006 was sanctioned in my name and was instaled in the said premises.

              ( b )That my electricity meter was removed on 4.12.09 without giving any intimation to me by Mr Mukhija and Mr Mathur of Kamla Market Div Office. To this effect I had lodged a police complaint in writing on the same day. On 16.12.09 at about 10.00AM I met Mr. R Sriniwasan, Div Head and explained the position to him. Who after clarifying from Mr. Mathur /Mr Mukhija, removed the meter against the complaint of Mrs. Pushpa Goel.

              ( c ) It seems that the officials of BSES with the connivance of Mrs. Pushpa Goel had removed my Elect meter illegally and wrongfully without intimating to me, since there are no dues pending against the said connection. Once your deptt granted the connection, the same cannot be removed only on the basis of the complaint or a letter written by any one. Mr. Mukhija amd Mr Mathur had taken bribe for this act as i presume because only just a complaint bses cant remove the meter and deprive me for light.

              It is therefore, requested that the said meter may be installed immediately in the said premises from where it was removed by the BSES officials and cheated me and an appropriate action may also be taken against the erring officials who had removed the said elect meter installed in the same premises legally. For this act your following Officials who had taken the bribe for illegal act are directly involved :-

              Mr. R Srinivasan, Mr. Mathur, Mr. Mukhija

                Sir,

                With due Regards, I state that I live in Ekta Apartments Paschim Vihar (affiliated with B3 Paschim Vihar BSES Office) area New Delhi. Every Night their are 5-6 hours Power cuts including 3-4 hours during night Time. This hampers our daily activities everyday and causing huge inconvinience to all o[censored]s.                 There are hell lot of troubles due to frequent power custs everyday in Paschim vihar, Pushkar Enclave, Near B-3. We have launched so many complaints over the phone at headquater number but still same problem.

                If we compare with NDPL, BSES is poorest in services. I think NDPL should take over the whole CITY.
                Its highly frustating in summers if this much power cuts are there.

                PLEASE LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM WHO SO EVER IS RESPONSIBLE, PUTTING YOU IN THIS SITUATION..
                I reside in CA Apartments paschim vihar and work in rotational shifts.

                My sleep is very important But since last four hours no electricity. I have been trying all bses helpline
                Numbers but No response. I am highly frustrated and request desperately
                To the delhi govt to intervene and resolve.

                RESOLVE THIS IMMEDIATELY!!!

                  Hi,

                  I would like to lodge a complaint on the voltage situation in my Building. I stay in Abul Fazal Block D 1/204, 6th Floor. The voltage situation is really bad, so much so that we are not able to use our electrical appliances. After taking to BSES, we were visited by a representative who just told us that nothing can be done about the issue. It is a very genuine concern.Pls get this resolved

                    All papers are checked through your Janak Puri Branch Offier with signed only you collect the paper and deposited only.

                    We have already paper all are ready for depositing your Branch but still no body is came till today.

                    Would be expected to response from your side soon. if you are not send the persons please confirm to me .

                    Accordingly we wil take the necessary action.

                      Sir,

                      BSES RAJDHANI is directly encouraging the people of Delhi to commit theft by various means

                      and ways one of which is very meticulously designed for the brave ones. STEP ONE - Obtain

                      the authorised electric connection. STEP TWO - Temper the meter or directly tap

                      electricity from the electric pole from the evenning to the next day morning and again

                      disconnect the tapping wire in the morning. STEP THREE - Get caught in the act and let the

                      raiding party of BSES Rajdhani photograph your premises and confesticate your electric

                      meter. STEP FOUR - Now pay some cash to the Meter Reader and tap electricity directly

                      from the electric pole day and night without any fear of raid. Since now you have no

                      electric meter and you are not a customer of BSES Rajdhani. Moreover, the Meter Reader is

                      happy with the cash he is receiving from you, hence why should he going to report the

                      matter to his superiors. Use the same yellow cable of BSES Rajdhani as your tapping wire.

                      ISN'T IT VERY EASEY. One Mr. Radhay Shyam Rohella of RZ-119/RZ-120, (Q. EXTENSION), UTTAM

                      VIHAR, UTTAM NAGER, NEW DELHI 110 059 is exactly done the same and still enjoying the free

                      of cost benefit of electricity. Even he hasn't paid a single penny as fine for his deed.

                        Dear Sir,

                        Your bll no.842991 dt.25.5.2009 is nil and the reading is taken on the 21/5/2009 was 931. Your meter reader harrased me.His intension is not clear. He gives wrong information and ficticious reading even after taking correct reading from meter. Your meter reading deppt disconnected the light and removed service line wire from pole to my shop. Since, this thing done without any notice and my presence. My shop was locked and service line wire is my property. I had paid the cost of it.

                        When I came to know, I immediately met Mr. Paras Gupta in Hari Nagar office.I explained before him the facts about my earlier complaint dated march, 2007 and march, 2008.Since my bill was not pending even then they have removed the wire without informing me.Please restore the light by providing wire.
                        I am a sr. citizen and not keeping well.Disconnection of electric wire from pole is not justified.I request your goodself to look into it and do the needful.

                        what would be the reaction by the bses if meter reading gets vanished automatically.
                        it happened with our meter one day when we noticed our electricity meter and we found the only zero reading. we lodged the complaint and them meter was taken away for testing. now i request you to know that if meter reading gets disappeared automaticaly and after meter testing meter is found faulty then on what ground and what would be the action taken by them would they suspect us if we are innocent.
                        please tell me in this case what sort of response i can get from bses.
                        the meter testing report would be considered as a accepatable evedent to put the penalty on customer or their is any another procedure to put the penalty on customer if found meter faulty.

                          My name is harsh Mahajan Living at BG6/46C Paschim Vihar New Delhi 63 on 1st August 2009 regarding 3 street lights not working since last 15 days, our nearby BSS office is B-3 Office, It seems like they are inviting thieves to steel our cars and bykes, After complaining 3 times in BSES Last complaint no 178 on 1st August 2009 in the name of Harsh Mahajan Mob - [protected] and before that I made a compalint on31st and 28th I was been told that it will rectify in 48 hours and its now 144 hours hours passed and still not been rectified, I am so fed up with the BSES service.

                          I beg to say that I am resideing F-Block Nihal Vihar, New Delhi. The street light of F-block satsang road, Gurduwara F Block Road has not been working for last one month. Kindly repaired it immediately.
                          2. Sir last two years ago the street light will be installed Nihal Vihar and near colony. The street light is continously on position. The Street light has been on position for last two years. There is no control for swithed off. I am requested to you kindly make arrangement for on or off street light. There is one place there is some control has set up. kindly make arrangement to switch off the street light in day. If you do it then we can save electrcity consumption.

                                This is third time I am requesting you to check the ongoing power theft in JANGPURA B AREA, My neighbours is involved in power theft for the last so may years. My neighbor Sunil Kumar Sachdeva R/0 B-146 Ist floor is running three A/c and even cooks food on Heater, If you see his monthly bill that i Have checked personally never exceed rs 500-600. as well as running one small machine to make some rubber product at home

                                This matter creating so many problem for other resident also, unnessasary use of electricity. & use other high power electronic product, causing Power shedding also in midnight.
                                I have seen BSES people who come to check his meter, he Bribe them as well as he installed his meter inside his home so that no one can check until and unless he wont allow them,

                                If this is the right Forum to compaint about the pwoer theft then I would appreacite if you take some action towards him and I am also fed up now . I have reported about him so many times.
                                I am requesting you to check the ongoing power theft in Maa Katyatni Apartment, Plot No. 686, 688, 689 & 690, Deoli, Nayi Basti Area. My neighbours is involved in power theft for the last so many years. My neighbors which Flat No.: A-7 (Ground Floor), C-7 (2nd Floor) & D-7 (3rd Floor) is running one or more A/c and even cooks food on Heater. All above flats no. has not installed meter by electricity department.

                                If this is the right Forum to compaint about the pwoer theft then I would appreacite if you take some action towards him.
