Dear Red Bus
I am writing to express my mother's extreme dissatisfaction with the Red Bus bus service that she recently experienced. My mother, Sarita Chhetri (42 years old, female), was traveling from Kathmandu to Sarojini Nagar in Delhi on 30 December 2022 at 07:00 AM. When purchasing her ticket, there was no mention that there would be an interchange of buses during her journey with Red Bus. This caused significant inconvenience as she was not prepared for the additional stop and the extended travel time it entailed.
To make matters worse, the first bus was delayed, and the conductor informed my mother that her total journey time would now be extended by an additional 24 hours, for a total of 54 hours.
On behalf of my mother I contacted the Red Bus customer care center for assistance, but they told me that it would take 48 hours to resolve the issue. She was left with no choice but to board another bus back to her starting point, as she was unable to find a resolution in the mid-way. To make matters even worse, the bus driver and conductor were extremely rude and told her to go "to whomever she wanted."
My mother is extremely unhappy with the level of service she received from Red Bus partner and the way she was treated. We expect a full refund for her ticket and compensation for the inconvenience and stress that she has experienced.
