I booked three tickets from Red Bus from Siliguri to Guwahati on 14.03.2024, with ticket No. TT4E89504419. It was a RAYAN Travels PRIMO bus. The departure time was 4 pm and the boarding point preferred by me was opposite the petrol pump near the TN Bus terminus at Hill Cart Road. When I found no bus there till 3.45 pm, I contacted the driver who asked me to go behind the petrol pump. The hood was fully loaded. A number of the lower deck seats were also loaded with big cartons and sacks. The bus started around 45 minutes after the scheduled time. The bus (Non A/C) was not clean and the fans were not working. On arrival at Guwahati at around 5 am on 15.03.2024, before reaching the ISBT, Guwahati, our dropping point, the bus entered a bounded compound near Boragaon. It took around one hour to unload the bus. When I asked one of the staff the reason for making the passenger waiting, he replied me in a rude manner that I should have made the complaint at Siliguri itself (which is very absurd).
This is very unbecoming on the part of a bus operator serving under Red Bus.
I hope such things will not happen in future.
