I bought a kwid rxt for jan 2016. The built in quality of the car is very poor.
I never seen a worst a/c performance in my life in any of the small segment cars. I didn't know how they designed such a worst car in all aspects for indians. I wanted to see the team who worked on the design. I gave my vehicle to the service center on apr 7th with below complaints.
1) the door light is switched off even the door is not closed properly
2) the a/c is very poor, i didn't know how you designed such a worst quality a/c for indian hot summer.
3) break is hardening often.
4) the quality of plastic is very poor
5) the car is not worth for money what we paid off
6) engine is very noisy and its a kind of diesel tractor
7) millage is very poor inside the city will be around 12kmph

Not have enough words to explain about quality of the cars.

    I have purchased kwid rxl from karnavati parlklane auto Pvt. Ltd. Ahmedabad on[protected]. There is problem with sidelight indicator switch. It is on working after one and half month. The problem was not resolved at the time of first free service and I was told to pay RS.1500/- for the same. I can't feel to understand that why should I pay for new car purchased by me in the such short period.
    Further, I have to mention that how the quality control department of your company works? There was colour denting problem in brand new car delivered to me. You can check it from the service record of your company.
    As such you are advised to look into the problem immediately and ensure to change the said switch at company cost otherwise I shall be compelled to take action against your company through consumer court and you shall be held responsible for the consicunses.

      Purchased the Renault Kwid RXT (Red) from Mumbai – Goregaon Showroom in November (Paying the Initial booking amount). After many delays and arguments on the date of delivery finally received the Vehicle in the last week of March.
      However after the delivery of the vehicle many features did not seem the same as how they were Advertised and Portrayed. The following are some of the features

      1. Misrepresented Side Rear View Mirrors: The Side Rear view Mirrors as mentioned in the brochure and other online websites is not the same quality or type. The Mirrors are flat and non-aerodynamic which at higher speeds (80 Kmph) close automatically, they need to be manually adjusted which is extremely dangerous if driving at such high speeds. (Defeats the purpose of Safety).

      2. Malfunctioning Glove Box: The upper Glove box does not close once it’s opened. The lid needs to be pressed more than 4 times (Average) to close. This happened on the same day when I had to take delivery of the vehicle and also warned by the technical people there not to open it at all (defeats your comfort storage feature)


      3. Improper Insulation: The cabin noise is extremely loud even when the engine is just turned on. Increased multiple folds as soon as we shift gears highest on highways. Inferior Quality insulation used.

      4. Inferior Plastic: The Plastic used in the interiors is of inferior quality and has sharp edges and lacks any kind of finish (Steering wheel). The dashboard is the worst compared to all the other in class competitors (Worse to even that of Tata-Nano).

      5. Media-Nav: The Bluetooth connected Media-Nav automatically disconnects (Issue with any kind of Bluetooth product used with Media-Nav) – defeats the best in class infotainment systems as advertised. (The speaker provided only in the front dashboard as of poor stereo quality with no bass as shown in the Media-Nav)

      6. Imperfect Power Windows: The Window Glass fittings are imperfect and when the Power windows are closed they do not fit in the grove and give a noise of not fitting in the grove which needs to be closed more than once using the Car Battery power often.

      7. Speedometer: The Speedometer shows the details of the Open/Close Door but the light does not blink when the door is open. Seat belt warning is not on even when the seat belt is not put.

      The above issues are extremely disappointing for a buyer who goes by the facts and figures your represent. Apart from the above issues there are other Quality issues which need to be taken care of incase you want to have a decent market share.
      1. Doors are not properly insulated which give a metal noise when Closed/Opened.
      2. Mileage is not as promised in the advertisements.
      3. Plastic/Friction noise even in a 2 week old car.
      4. Inferior Plastic on doors and handles interior and Exterior.
      Please note as a customer we would want the product to be the decent if not good. I have been extremely disappointed with the sales/service and the product.
      Please look into this matter as early as possible and also if I need to take this up legally.

        dealer is forced to purchase as per quotation
        1. insurance at their tie up
        2. accessories
        3. handling charges

        if i will take delivery from showroom than why should i pay for handling charges?

          I purchased a kwid car [RXL] in last December, I have been facing some genuine problems that in traffic Pt it is not moved after that it is operated properly while ac is switched on. As a result, loud horns have to be faced regularly. Again Probably 799 cc may not be suitable for this, in each and every moment smooth driving can't be done.Since in my model of the car no fog lights are there, is there any provision to be fixed it without effecting the warranty and others. Can we get the proper advices and remedies ?

            Dear sir,
            I have purchased renault lodgy in may 2015, ( mh20 dj 8088) since day of purchase i am unhappy about the doors noise. Further the local dealer at aurangabad maharashtra india has assured for service and tried multiple times but couldn't resolve till date.
            Further would like to mention about multiple failures of shockups and wirings etc. Which has took almost 40-60 days in total for vehicle in garage. Even idle running setting is impossible for the agency and till date i am managing with my own judgement and feared to have anybody else to drive.
            Paid huge amounts on account of taxi charges during the vehicle repair period.
            Many times i have paid huge amount to the dealer as the agency denied warranty service or out of warranty parts.
            Non cooperation, asking for cash payments and not issuing service documents is common problem with this dealer, today we are realizing importance o[censored]n issued service bills to claim the warranty.
            Many follow-ups with the service agency of aurangabad are in vein, nothing helpful other than false promises to do better next time.
            Now my vehicle is at the end of the warranty period and i am worried with these false promises and expect cooperation and help from you.
            Expect earliest revert on my mail and instructions to your service agency to attend my vehicle to my satisfaction or otherwise i may need to take up with local customer forum.

              I booked my duster car on 21.03.2016 for new model of 2016 -85ps rxz for rs.10000 (white color), on 31.03.2016 people from renault company came to my house for down payment (rs600000) at evening 5.00pm (so eagarly)
              after taking money they said white color is not available & we could not deliver to you saying you take silver car, how could they do this at elevnth hour.
              Very much harrassed by this & rude behaviour from executive lead me to do this .
              As aggrieved customer i want to complaint about;
              1. Commitment which they could not be able to satisfy,
              2. There hurry at the time of booking, constant follow up at the time booking car & after that no proper respose to satisfy customer & casual attitude to say no to deliver product at moment.
              3.Easily saying take back your money & cancel the car to hide their faults.
              4.Promising delivery within 2 days from down paymnet & saying no to deliver required car after taking cash from customer.
              5. How they come to my home ( after 5.00pm -31.03.16) 30km away from showroom to collect cash & cheque for down payment & say that (after an hour ) we could not deliver white car & u choose another color of same car .


              Very pathetic company service in an competative market.
              I face this hopeless service & arrogant behaviour of customer executive & branch manager o[censored]nnati pvt ltd, dwarka, nashik (renault showroom)

                    After gauging 30000 km; I am facing gear shifting problem. It's very hard to shift gears fro 1st to 2nd or any gear. Sometimes I cannot get out the 1st gear. Imagine the horrifying experience. I get stuck in traffic. Unable to engage the gear. I complained the same to the Works Manager.

                    He admitted a defective part presence in the system and he would rectify the same. I have given my vehicle to Khivraj pearl, OMR on 29th March 2016. TN22CL6287

                    Ensure it is attended to.Laurels propagation about duster should match cars on the road.

                      I purchased a car from renault (Model: kwid rxt), it's been just 2 months so far. I have a problem with respect to the “side view mirror” of this car. The “side view mirror” which company has provided with this vehicle is totally different. It is not the same one which they have shown in the brochures / advertisement of this vehicle and in company's official website. I am not comfortable with the side view mirror which they have provided with this car, it's a pretty old model. I am really facing tough time with it daily in adjusting and also not give clear and complete view of vehicle behind you. I want the same one which company has showcased in their brochure /tv advertisements/ company website.I'm really unhappy that the company is misleading the customer by showcasing something in the brochure / advertisement /website and providing a different one in actual with the vehicle. Request you to please help me in this regard.

                      Also there is much noise with engine and some time pedal brake and accelerate missing issue. Issue with suspension. Issue with 1st gear shift.

                          Renault bhopal is doing fraud .They are asking extra 3500 rupees. 2000 for some city transfer and 1500 for driver charge.
                          This is open fraud by them.When i called to chenni team then they took bhopal renault dealer on con-call with me.After lengthening our conversation, chenni customer care executive told to bhopal executive that you are doing wrong with customer and should not pay you extra 35000 rupees, please handover his car .Then bhopal executive have no words and she literally ran away by giving excuse that i need to talk my sales team and deliver it.But since then no action done.
                          I email this issue to md and ceo(Sumit shenoy) but till now no action .Even md carlos forwarded my email to customer care department then also situation is as it is. I am planning to go for some other car because if renault is not even taking action when there md carlos is forwarding my email to take action then we can imagine after sales service and reliability of this new car which is not proven yet .

                          Thanks Renault for resolving this issue . Now dealer will not take 3500 extra amount from me.
                          Now dealer is asking for logistic charges (5000 rupees) to bringing car from manufacturing unit to showroom(where car booked) .
                          Car is standing in Indore(different city) and to bring it from Indore to Bhopal driver will bring it by driving around 220 km.
                          In this case I wont get fresh car, its almost driven 220 km.You are taking this logistic charges to bring fresh car from manufacturing unit to showroom where customer has booked his car.
                          When I raised this point to dealer(Sumit jadav-executive) he again started shouting on me and said I'll give it to some other customer .He also said that I have informed about this case to Ceo sumit shenoy and we cant provide you fresh car.
                          He also threatened me that I am only the one in bhopal for Renault and be careful while raising any complain against me.
                          I am really now concerned by such threats .Please resolve .

                            I purchased Duster in Apr 2014. I love the car. After clicking 30000 km, I faced gear shifting problem. It's very hard to shift gears fro 1st to 2nd or any gear. Sometimes I cannot out the 1st gear. Imagine the horrifying experience I had when struck in traffic and unable to put the gear. I complained duringeedful. Which I doubt the routine service and they told they replaced the clutch wire, etc p. But still the problem is persisting. Again I have given the vehicle for the same problem, the service executive says it's a routine problem and as the Kim's run is more these type of problems occurs. I told him you go and experience the situation what I faced when u are unable to put the 1st gear in a traffic jam. After that he told he will look into it and do the needful, which I doubt. Request any higher officials from Renault to look into it. I have given my vehicle to khivraj pearl, OMR.

                              I have purchased duster on 27 sept 2010 from dealer jay-vijay motors pune ( mh 12 3650 )

                              Since then every servicing or issue has been addressed only dealers, jay-vijay or pashankar or new dealer at sus road pune

                              We have never ever handed over car to any other mechanic or local service deck.

                              Now, car horn has an issue, whole conduit needs to be changed because the one in my car is spurious dealer says, btw all dusters at his center have horn conduit of same brand as mine !!!

                              My car is under warranty till sept 2016, running not beyond 60000 kms till date

                              Dealer says i must spend to get the horn repaired / changed . I refuse to spend as car is under warranty

                              Please do the needful to give me best of services and warranty facilities as assured

                                SALESMAN IS A FRAUD : This is the worst Car showroom i have ever seen . I booked Kwid in the month of Jan 2016 paying 11000 as a booking amt and he told me that car will be delivered by 8 Apr 2016 .                                 Dear renault,

                                I own renault kwid rxt. Was a proud owner till this happened.

                                I had kept my car for a minor damage on 09/03/16 in mangalore karnataka, but after more than a week even today your people say that there is no place in bay to repair the car and i need to wait for atleast 10 more days. My question is if you don't have the post sales or services facility then why do you sell cars? I lost faith in your company. Planning to sell the vehicle once i get it back. And will never recommend anyone to go for renault.

                                  21st feb 2016 regarding my Renault vehicle, model Duster RXL 85 PS bearing
                                  VIN 6090504 & Registration no. Hr 06AH 6193
                                  I hereby Certify that Renault hasnot given me any resolution on my vehicle .
                                  My car has an issue of pulling towards left whereas the company has checked in panipat renault where as the work done was :
                                  1 ) allignment km run 1100
                                  2 ) wheel balancing
                                  Then i took this car to NCR MOTORS GURGAON wheras NCR MOTORS team's
                                  Work done on same issue is as follows :-
                                  1 ) 4 times allignment
                                  2 ) 3 times balancing
                                  3 ) left side arm
                                  4 ) sub frame
                                  5 ) steering assembly
                                  My car was in RENAULT NCR MOTORS GURGAON for around 18 days wheras they have called me many times but the issue is still same and unresolved till date . My car has a pulling towards left !
                                  Post all this I had a word with the area manager Mr. Rinkoo however he hasnot supported much !! I had test drive with diffrent service representative of renault duster where everybody can feel it has an issue upto Mr Ayam Ibotomcha the service manager also can feel it still has a pulling towards left whereas Mr. Rinkoo has been trying to convince me that this kind of pulling is normal as per renault parameters .
                                  Post all this me and the service manager of the Renault NCR motors gurgaon ...
                                  First we drove another new renault duster 85ps and that on same road we drove both cars my car is dangerously going towards left what if some mishap happens will company be liable for all that
                                  And the same experiance was felt by service manager also .
                                  When i decided to buy a premium car like Duster by a world renowned brand Renault Though its my 1st car & I was not expecting such a bad treatment which can be physically and mentally exhausting. I am tired of the harrasment that I, ve been put through by Renault Team !
                                  The car was deleivered in december & has
                                  Showcased same Issue from the date i bought this vehicle . Also the car has been at the gurgaon service center since 21st feb 2016 . It has been near about a month & I have not been provided any satisfactory resolution as mentioned above .
                                  I was promised that car would function properly after all the numerous repairs they have done on car . I am extremly dissapointed and dishartened by the non-satisfactory client service by a brand that claims tag line of " Passion for life "
                                  Kindly get the issue resolved ASAP before it turns to be fatal for me or other people driving on the road or else i would have to take legal proceeding .

                                    RENAULT CUSTOMER SERVICE

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    We have got our vehicle at NCR Gurgoan Centre repaired for (i) normal service and (ii) consistent problem for central locking (from the past 8 months ) on 12.2.2016.

                                    The payment of Rs 13, 500 /- approx. was also done after the service with the assurance that the AC mode regulator(which had malfunctioned) service shall be done subsequent to the date of service and nothing extra shall be charged.Accordingly, the vehicle was again taken by us to NCR service Centre, Gurgaon on 10.3.2016 .At the time of sending the vehicle to Renault NCR Service Centre the vehicle was behaving normally including the Central locking system.

                                    For servicing of the vehicle AC mode regulator, the vehicle was retained for overnight and when the vehicle was delivered at my residence on 11.3.2016 the following were not working again:

                                    (i) The central locking buttons are not working from inside,
                                    (iI) The headlight (left side) is not giving adequate light as if one bulb is fused or not properly connected,
                                    (iii) The hazard lights at the back and front are not working even when the vehicle is stationary.
                                    (iv) The screws for floor mats etc were lying loose and were not attended properly.

                                    You are requested to get the above repaired at my residence with no extra cost as i do not have the patience of taking the vehicle to your showrooms in and around Gurgaon. The idea of shifting the showroom from Sec 37 Gurgaon to NCR Gurgaon was for better service only and rectifications of central locking which was not attended and understood by Gurgaon Sec 37 showroom.

                                    I am still not sure how long the central locking would behave normally as almost its the 7th or 8th time the vehicle has been attended by RENAULT SERVICE ENGINEERS, but to no avail .
