Respected Consumer Court Team,

My name is Ankit Damania and I have taken 2 night 3 Days membership of Manas Lifestyle Resort at Igatpuri, through RMV group office is situated at : 308, 3rd Floor, Lok Centre, Marol Maroshi Road, Andheri (E), Mumbai - 400059. Phone:[protected] /[protected], in the month of Mar 2015.

As per the T&C mentioned in their membership booklet the booking can be done for any days. However, for weekends Rs. 1000/- extra per night will be charged at the time of booking. Further the time of taking membership, the same was confirmed and communicated by their sales executive Mr. Wasim that.

On this basis I have signed up for the deal for myself and also, for my family members.

However, whenever we try to avail the benefits we always use to get some or other excuses from the reservation team and also from the management, despite following up daily for atleast 15-30 days and the kind of excuses differs each time.

First attempt was in June 2015, then in Sep 2015 and now finally in Feb 2016 but with no luck. Every time, the management keeps silent and delay things and backs out at the very last moment.

It will be relevant to mention here that, I have been continuously calling almost everyday and doing regular email follow ups (which is evident from the email trail) but the officials are going round and round without coming to the main point on weekend accommodation and during this span of mail exchanges and phone calls more than one month passes and the required booking period is gone and we are helpless to the dictatorship of the management as there is no way to escalate further.


This is very unfair to the members who had already paid membership fees well in advance and long time before the expected date of accomodation.

I had tried escalating the matter to all possible authorities – ranging from reservation officer Mr. Santosh Chikhale on Ph: [protected], sales officer Mr, Wasim on[protected], Admin officer Deepak Amberkar onPh:[protected] to the RMV group Director & co-owner Mr.Vishal & Mayur Luthria on [protected].


However, we even gave them proof wherein online availability of same dates on different websites as well as email confirmation from their own Manas Lifestyle Resort, during the dates we were planning for.

This is absolutely a case of cheating and fraud done by RMV Group and now they are not even entertaining us. In one of our telecon, the reason stated by Mr. Vishal was the cost paid by us for the membership is on the lower side and the actual rate at which the weekends are sold vastly differs. Further he confidently replied that We have been dealing with many such Customers like you and Even if you take such matter with any such consumer forum they will easily win the case.

I request now consumer court intervention here to help us get what we were communited and commited by RMV group and arrange for my refunds to resovle this issue at the earliest. Also, we reuest a strick action against the companys’ management on mis-selling.

Kindly help us to resolve the issue with this cheater & fraudulaent company. Hoping to get the justice.
