Hi team,

This complaint is against sony xperia mobile services.

I had written an email which is mentioned below. Adding to the complaint, i did visit the center again fourth time and was given a standby phone, zl. Same day i called the center, as the phone did not work. They suggested to bring the phone back; however, i refused to visit the center again fifth time. I am using my old phone, no services, no internet since last 10 days.

In a nutshell, sony mobile has pathetic services, worst service center and i would want to share this experience on social media so people at least realize what risk they are taking by buying your product. You are just a brand name now i guess which would soon be diminished considering the poor services you have.

Email that i wrote on 6th july, 2016 *

Hi team,

I am writing this email in order to raise my dissatisfaction towards your services. I used a sony xperia mobile for more than two years. I again purchased a new xperia c4 on 1st of january 2016. A few days back i experienced an issue with the screen of the phone. I visited your authorized center in dwarka sector 7 on 4th july, 2016. I was asked to come along with the bill, which i did after an hour. I was informed that the screen would need to be replaced for which i need to deposit the phone. However, i took the phone back to see if it works fine after updating the software as advised. However, there was no improvement. Therefore, i visited the center for the third time on 5th july and deposited the phone. My complaint is that not even once i was informed that you guys offer substitute handset. When i called the center to check for the same after i reviewed online that this facility is also available when the phone is under warranty, i was simply told that the handset was not available.

I want to know why i was not educated even when i visited your center three times and spent money in doing so. On top of it, when i called your toll free number as well, i received a very rude reply. I have been very happy with the product that you offer but your services are pathetic, unfriendly and rude.

As a customer, i demand to be treated with dignity and respect along with full transparency. Please advise if my understanding in regards to substitute phone is correct or not. Based on your reply, i want to further escalate the matter to consumer forum and raise my dissatisfaction for unnecessary inconvenience.

    Is this kind of service sony provide.

    I am just awaiting for a day when will i get a call by saying that your product is ready so come anc collect the same.

      Lastweek we purchased a sony home theatre, tilldate that showroom people didnt send thier men to fix it. Even we called and backup also, thier are claiming silly excuses. Please verify the issue and solve it. And i can surely tell that this is the last time we are taking sony items, hereafter we dont encourage this company. This is called marketing but you people dont realise the customer satisfication and its importance in the market to survive yourself in the competative world.

        Dear sir,
        I had given my handset sony xperia e2115 to "aditya info solution b11 tilak marg dali bagh lucknow - 226001 up" which is authorised service centre of sony on 24/06/2016.
        Sony service centre executives very ill mannered they don't pick up phone. i had called them several times on[protected].
        After submitting my handset to them they told me that it would be repaired in a week but 20 days has been passed and service centre executives saying to me that it is under process and it will take more than a week again. but problem in my handset is only "battery drain issue, hanging issue and also poor battery backup issue". for this much issue any service centre takes only a week to repair but 20 days has been passed and yet my handset has not been repaired.
        We request u to kindly take the issue with the company and penalise them for their misdeed.

          Dear sony team,
          I had bought an sony c4 mobile on 14 february 2016. With following model no (E5363). Imei no ([protected]). And in 4 months i have submitted the above said handset 3 times in gallery for same problem of touch not working properly.
          Last month on 24.06.1016 i had submitted the handset for 3rd time in gallery for the same issue, at that time while submitting the handset i had told the representative that im fed up of the issue repeating and i want an replacement of my piece, that time the representative told me that i have sent an escalation mail on your behalf and your piece will be replaced within 7 to 8 working days.
          But i received a call from sony peoples on 6.6.16 that is after 10 days (Excluding sundays) stating that ur handset is repaired and ready to take.
          I mean what is going on first sony representative tells me an escalation mail is sent handset will be replaced and later on i am informed that your handset is repaired, look we are not fools nor we have so much free time to do same things again and again. It was the third time i had submitted the handset for same problems. Out of 4 months 1 and 1/2 months my handset was in sony gallery only, your representatives and executives says do what u want to do it will not be replaced. I mean if the handset is giving same issue and trouble in spite of being repaired twice why will it not give same issue third time, and just in 4 months same issue for 3 times, its disgusting.
          I am very much frustrated of taking back ups, deleting data, changing cells, downloading apps, again and again. I seriously plead and request you guys to take it in serious consideration and replace my handset, till now i have not created any nuisense or havoc in gallery but now i will go to consumer court and i will put all this nonsense on social media also if i do not get proper response in 2 days.

              I recently gave my xperia z1 in sony service center akola named by 'gajanan services' mine job sheet number is w[protected] they prepared me a job sheet on 18/06/16 and promise me that my device would be sent on 18th june itself to nagpur... but as per there record they are saying we initiated the courier on 20/06/16 and saying it is 'blue dart' fault and it might be delayed because of the courier service... but as per blue dart the sony service has requested the pick up of sets on 25/06/16... thus making my courier reached nagpur by 29/06/16.
              The repair center in akola has completely checked my phone before sending it to nagpur... but after 29/06/16 they tell me that power ring was missing in your cell... also battery back panel need to be changed... and they are asking me to pay them for all this stuff (cell in warranty). it has been 25 days now, there has been no active action taken by this employees at gajanan services akola.instead they are busy making faulty allegations on different people and misleading the customer.
              I am very much upset by this kind of service and i expect that a serious action would be taken against my complaint.

                I had bought this mobile on november 2015 it has one year warranty. but in six months it started software issue for which i had submitted to service center and get the repair done on may 2016but whn i received the mobile there was no sim tray in it. now again on july 1st i submitted for the same issue which i had before and now also whn service center had repaid done and ask me to come n collect the same. here again without sim tray. how can one tolerate such things from suh companies. i boughg it for 35000/- rupees but it was not worth.

                  My touch screen music system dhc-az33d//ce12 was repaired in may 2016 as the cd tray was stuck job no. j6096582. the service centre charged me around inr 3800 for replacing the "device optical" and "switch keyboard" it worked for less than 2 months and now it has the same problem that was encountered last time. when we took the system to the service centre again yesterday, the person concerned told us that as it was repaired 2 months ago for the same problem, there would be no extra charges as the parts are within the warranty period. today, i got a call from the service centre explaining me that they would charge another inr 4000 to repair it.
                  When the service centre executive first said (yesterday) that the only parts that could be faulty are the ones that were replaced in may 2016, then how come they are telling me something different today? how can i trust that they are not charging me again for the same parts, or the parts they replaced the first time were original?

                    In our sony led purchased on 08.11.13 in the name of pawan kumar jain, mob. no. [protected], vide bill no. 1893 from dealer rathi and sons, shivpuri (m. p.), there is a total failure of display resulting in blank dark screen. also, the tata sky attached with it is completely working fine, and voices can be heard without anything displayed on the screen.

                      First of all i would like to introduce myself as k. J. Rajkumar currently staying at the above mentioned residential address and serving for indian bank, thiruvanmiyur branch, chennai. My father was so much interested in sony products, whether its camera, (Still or video), tv, audio instruments, dvd players etc., he never compromise the quality as he always believe sony on top of all. I grew by watching him and as a successor i was very keen in maintaining his wish. It’s all because you have been a leader in quality maintenance for each and every product you deliver in the market.

                      Of late i had a fighting debate with one of my intimate friend. His argument was that sony, has become just like another marketing company with lot of internal issues, non-maintenance of quality, poor service support and so on. But i really had to fight it out to overpower him with my words and in support i had to bring all my sony products in the debate about the quality and the endurance of the product. But he in turn admitted that i may be an exception but he challenged me while concluding the debate that i will also be a victim very soon.

                      His words did not hurt me at all, but now i was really hurt, when your representative told me that my tv model no ex 520 had a panel issue, when enquired for the service i come to understand that the panels for my tv had been stopped once for all for some reasons. I have no other go other than to buy a new tv. My investment for the tv for rs.64, 900/- and if you say simply in less than 4 years of time the panel will go off, i got the doubt of being cheated just for the trust i have shown to your company for all these years. Suddenly i feel my friends words become real and feel like a victim. His alarming words now become a big concern for me.

                      Now it’s been a month and a half, i have been roaming around for a solution to my issue with the service center. After my insistence, your service staff at tharamani, suggested me to give a dd for rs.21, 929/- and in return i can take a new tv as an indemnity. He offered me a model w62d as a settlement for my issue. I just want to remind you sir that when i purchased my tv, there was no smart tv available with the dealer then, so i had to choose the best from the available model with the dealer. My choice is very limited, here again i had to compromise from the available models. Now the tv model w62d offered to me was not up to my expectation. I need a product which should speak about you quality and features. I can’t compromise on quality issue right now deliberately as i am already a victim for no fault of mine.

                      My kind request to you is to arrange a panel for my existing tv which is more sufficient for me and if you say that the panel is not available or out of stock, it is your responsibility to satisfy the customer for your mistake. You need to negotiate with the customer for the ultimate satisfaction of the customer. Now it is your responsibility to see my satisfaction is considered as the top priority from your side. So i would like to go for the model no w700c which has similar features with my existing tv. Anything above this model or the same would be preferable for me and if you say that you are indemnifying me, you can choose the one i like the most, it would be more appropriate for any justification in future for that matter.

                        I have purchased gift for my daughter sony xperia z3 + rs. 24999.00 dated 06.06.2016 from prince mobile store, princess street, marine line mumbai 400002. mobile imei no.[protected]
                        After 9days problem raised in my mobile phone i. e sd card was not detecting. so i have shown my mobile above store so they have submitted my mobile at the sony service centre andheri. they have told me that there was problem with sd slot and it will be replaced but after 15days they are telling that there is problem in my motherboard of the phone and they will repair and will give after another one week. i ask them for replacement since it was a new phone and i have just used for 9days but they refuse to do so.
                        My demand is that i want a new phone since it is a major issue an i have not even used it for more then 10 days.
                        So kindly do the needful.

                          Dear all,

                          I am arpit modi. i bought sony xperia z5 premium dual silver colour. its back glass cover has been damaged and i gave it to sony service center named parshwa services at vadodara on 27/05/2016. i am constantly calling them but every time i don't get satisfactory answer. and since last two weeks they are saying that the product has been repaired and dispatched from chennai, but i didn't get it yet. so tell me why is this taking so much time? what is the meaning of buy this costly phone of sony if you are not even able to give proper service?

                            This is dr. kannan, reqested customer service support for the above mentioned issue from kg sony service centre at cross cut road in ghandipuram for the last 2 days. their response is very lethargic and insensitive. i wait for them since friday, when i call them they start enquiring the same set of questions, they have no record of my previous calls.
                            If this is the response for spending lacs of rupees on your products, i am very disappointed with the service.
                            I think i made a mistake by buying sony.
                            I kindly request you to look into this complaint at your earliest. i can't waste another 2 days on this issue.

                              Sir, i bought sony xperia z2, 2 years back. the warrenty is over. but recently, 1 month back, i had some issues with the magnetic charging receiver dock. so i went to service center in gandhidham, named avani electronics, on 14 june 2016. they advised me to wait for the reply of estimation because the main head is in ahmdabad. they receive the estimate from there. so on 18th june, i received the estimate. it was 28591 (incl taxes). 1 year back the value of device was around 26000. thats ok but when i asked for the details, they said that the motherboard, the touch and display has to be changed. so i asked just for the magnetic charging receiver, they replied that all the things are to be changed. so thats why i denied their deal. afterwards, i received my cellphone on 30th, that too in bad situation. the speakers were not working properly, and the waterproof fitting was not proper. i showed them and they are not giving me any proper solution.

                                Sir, i have bought my sony xperia t2 ultra dual before 2 n half months, from the next day of recieving i started facing issues related to charging problem, camera blur issues, battery backup, software stabilization hanging problem no sd card support display blinking issues. on the next day of receiving phone morning i went to the service center located in janakpuri d. c.. a - after explaining all issues to the service center representative requested them to replace my phone but they told me the phone is not replaceble they didnt fixed anything just given me a job sheet mentioned coustmer requested for software upgrade. they returned my phone how ever i managed to use phone for next 15 days, again started facing all that issues, again i went to the service center, and they told me the phone is only replaceble in between 7 days of buying, they also not repaired my phone and asked for 15 days to repair, i have again visted another service center and deposited for repair, again after 5 days of resubmitting they are just making stories, that 1 part has been recieved we are waiting for another one, also i have called in toll free number, they did'nt helped me for anything, even they don't have authority to lodge any complaint regarding this issues, they never transfer my call to senior person, they don't have any manner to talk, just following the same statement we will see into the matter, i have also asked for any spare phone, but they told me no spare phones are available, i am really very much exhausted with the service, i am not living in my hometown, how will i deal with the contact issues without phone, sir please help me to get my phone replaced or completely repaired as soon as possible. 5 days has been passed submitting my phone but no response i am getting regarding the issues. my job sheet no is [protected]. and registerd no is [protected]. contact number in job sheet is [protected] with the name ambreesh pandey.

                                Sir, I Have Received my phone before 3 Days, from 5 days before receiving I have called everyday to Sony toll free number to know the status of my phone, first they told me the parts are getting received, everyday when I called they kept me telling that one part has been received and another are receiving, there are three parts which are getting received, but when I visited service center then I got to know that they have just replaced the charging jack, I have told them a lot of problems in my phone, and they just changed my slot and returned the phone, and when I tried to understand what actually they are doing, the ma'am who sit on the counter told me get out of the seat, and she can not help me, they are just manipulating the customer, now after 3 Days I am again facing the same issue when I posted the complaint I got a call from Sony and he told me that he will help me out but no one called me again or helped me, Sir I want my phone to be replaced. After buying my phone I haven't used my phone a single day without issues, sir I am really feeling very helpless now, please suggest me a way should I will have to visit to office to take a legal action, the persons of service centers are talking like they are not serving the customer they are ordering, sir please take a quick action regarding the issue Its almost 3 months have passed, I am living without my phone very far away from my hometown,

                                  After 2yrs of purchase, our sony bravia led 24 inch tv went for repairs.
                                  We gave it to telecare pune, kothrud pune, sony service center.
                                  They told us that the led panel had to be replaced and gave us an estimate of around inr 5000/- for repairs.

                                  After 1 week, i called them to check status and they said that the panel...

                                  I visited Sony Authorized Service Centre dated 09/06/2016 for my laptop repairment. Actually, the display was not working and had gone blank. Before visiting service center, I myself checked if it was a display problem or motherboard.I checked it with another display and it was working fine which means only display change was required.One of the other problems was that one of the hinges was broken which needed simple repair but they told the whole flip part will be changed although nothing was wrong in that except for only one hinge. Then they kept the laptop for the whole day and they told me that the whole motherboard will be replaced although there was nothing wrong in it. And when I told the person who opened the laptop in the service center that there is a display problem, I checked it then he told display is alright, the motherboard will be replaced and told me the overall cost of around Rs[protected]. I took my laptop and went home.When tried to on it, it was heating a lot. Also, one of the plastic hinge support was missing and when I visited again the service center to get back that broken plastic support part, they told they don't have any. I shut down and visited another local laptop repair who opened it and detected short-circuiting in the motherboard .He took 2500 for motherboard repair and 3500 for screen replacement and my laptop is working well now. As evident that the motherboard problem occurred only after I had visited sony service center and they must had done something wrong in motherboard so as to show motherboard replacement and earn large money.Moreover for a simple hinge problem they asked to replace whole flip cover.The most evident thing is that I was told there is no problem with display and I was damn sure that it had only display problem which I checked myself and local repair store.The details for sony service of my laptop are :

                                  I must demand proper look into the matter and take action against the person who opened my laptop in sony service center and his falseness, against the sony service center, Muzaffarpur for misleading information and damaging my product. I demand proper and quick redressal of my complaint and compensation for my loss.

                                    I am ANIL SADASHIV MARNE purchased new 43" Sony led TV had problem of mother board in four months. Now I want replacement of full TV not a only mother board. Please look in this matter and do needful.

                                      I had purchased a sony 4k tv model no. kd-55x9004a from kohinoor, dadar in may 2014 paying rs 2.3 lacs and after installation i had made various complaint regarding the display of the set being abnormal. however, during the warranty period the sony technicians did not do anything about the same dispersing the case by saying that this kind of display was normal in sony.
                                      Shockingly, sony's technician visited my place today (job no j[protected] as i had a made a complaint for display again. i was told that the panel needs to be replaced. this is shocking as they have now found a fault in the display after the warranty period is over and the set is barely two years old, it seems that i was given a defective set and my complaint was dispersed without any resolution during installation and now i am being asked to pay for a new panel for which i have been quoted rs.1, 30, 000.00 which is totally unfair.
                                      This shows the poor service rendered by sony and also the sub standard quality of their products. at this juncture, i would also like to mention that i have even purchased 55" samsung sets in the past and till today there has never been a service or product issue in the same.
                                      Sony India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
