I have repeatedly called TataSky to tell them that one of their technicians has done some work for another house and has screwed up the wiring/connection in our house. I have requested a callback and received no response, I have called and been on hold for 1/2hour and then my call has been disconnected, once I got through to a Helpdesk person and before he could register my complaint, he disconnects my call. Is this your idea of customer service Tatasky?

    Dear Sir,
    I am using tata sky since 4 years, Once I got call for costumer support officer, that your are being Tata Sky HD box with one year subscription free at Rs.1500.I paid them this much of amount with my net banking.But after 1 month my HD Box get Deactivated. When i call costumer support officer for related issues the told me to do recharge of 270 as on your normal box..
    I told them.to return my previous tata sky box and do that much of recharge, but they said no this is not possible..

    What to do now sir, please help...

      Since past 15 days, I have been facing Signal (infact No signal) in my primary connection. Two visits have yield no result.

      Yesterday after all my efforts somehow was able to get through TATA SKY Call centre number...after series of 'No through Calls', Disconnections, Being transferred but MUTE for 15 minutes so no clue...last call spoke to one Senior Manager by the name of Ms.Rachna. Who promised and assured that a Senior Technician will visit my place at 10am next day i.e. Today. Its already 3pm...no one has turned up yet. I didnt receive Request number vide SMS as she mentioned yday. No one has cared to even call.

      I have been a customer to Tatasky since start of its operations here in Mumbai and India. And check the Status of packages which I have taken or opted. This is the kind of service which I get. Will TATASKY PAY BACK THE DAYS WHICH I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO VIEW ITS SERVICES??

      Its pure Pathetic, Horrible, Insensitive and Lousy service (if there was any).

      I am determined that I no longer want to get associated with such company. And assure that I will surely no longer renew accordingly.

      This is for your information so that atleast other customers aren't duped.

        Customer care is absolutely careless, they are not at all responding. I call them for 3 times, they put me on hold for 16, 15 and 20 min respectively. I have charged for Rs.300/-. I got message on registered mobile about balance it is 298/-. when I put on TV it shows no balance on the screen . please do needful.

          Dear sir

          we have tata sky Subscriber ID : [protected] made a complaint of black screen last night .Today your service engineer (mr raja sharma ) visited and ask us to change set of box . I ask him for the service report for the same . He refused for the same later he spoke to his senior Mr Pramod who said there is no such reports provided to the customer .

          As a customer i have a right to get a service report for the damage done which require a part replacement .

          the doubt further goes intense as few months back there was problem of signal and the repair was made in set of box .

          i request you to provide a service report for all the repair made for last 3 months . as this is purely be fooling customer

            What a fool TataSky is making customers. I think this is been with all the customers of India.

            Suddenly, today we checked our Tata Sky statement and noticed YOU are deducting Active English charges. Then we opened last 3 months statements and shocked that the charges were deducted in those months also. We do not have statements before July 2016. It might be possible that charges were deducting since a long time.

            We have never requested for this service (Add-on). We require complete details of this issue and want full amount as cash back or in form of voucher or rechrage.

            According to TATA SKY senior employee - Manjali, it was started in this month October 3, 2016. But when I mentioned that we have not requested for such service in our lifetime and you are deducting charges since long.

            She said TATA SKY will provide complete details with reimbursement of those charge. She said within 48 Hours TATA SKY will get back to us.

            We are waiting for all the statements, may be in excel form, so that we can forward it to TRAI (consumer forum). If we do not hear anything in 48 Hours we will forward our request to them.

            MIND IT - WE WILL MAKE MEDIA UNDERSTAND HOW YOU ARE MAKING INDIANS FOOL BY THIS PROCESS OF DEDUCTING CHARGES.

              The worst customer care ever
              Y you people take a person who done have brains
              What is wrong with you people
              We get a call from customer care min 20 times a day and it is getting mental torture for us
              And listen you guys am planning to go leagually on this issue
              Soo be careful
              And the main problem is I recharged the package on march for one year and now in October they are saying that the price of the package has increased soo your amount has not enough for your package
              If the amount of the package has reduced after I recharged for one year will you return my remaining amount ????
              If you say that my Amount is not enough for one year again am saying you I will definitely take an action on you am sure about it
              This is my big mistake that I chose the Tata sky
              Before I used big tv for 10 year I never got any problem with them and I am using this tatasky from 8 months and now it is effecting mentally for us
              I recommend not to choose tatasky for anyone

                Technician visited yesterday for my earlier complaint about "No Signal". He checked and told that the set top box requires change. He had one set top box. I do not know whether it was a new one or old one but repaired. Anyway he fitted the one and took away the old one. He said Rs. 550/- was the price of that set top box. I paid him the money. He did not give me the receipt. When told about the money receipt, he said that amount would be adjusted to my account (credited) and then debited for the set top box. I could not find/notice such credit and debit in my account as displayed in TV.
                Please let me know.

                To-day I found my Tata Sky account has been debited the amount of Rs.350/- which I paid yesterday for monthly recharge and my account showing minus balance of Rs. 199.+. Further, my line has been disconnected and I am not able to view TV stating my account is running on minus balance. That means the Technician named Ganesh (Mobile No [protected]) who attended and took the money Rs.550/- has not deposited the amount to my account which he was to do as stated by him.
                I am going out of station for a few days and will not be available to pursue this matter with you.
                I will expect you to resolve the issue and make arrangements to refund the money for the days I will not be able to view TV.

                  On 23rd Sep-2016, by mistakely I credited Rs 5050/- in my tata sky account ID [protected] Through Axis mobile banking, at the same time i also lonch a complain through my mobile Complaint No RQMXEUI, Tata sky repersentive assured that it will resolved before 7 to 10 working days,
                  after 10 days when I told them that yet I not receved above said amount, they asked for bank statement I was also submited the same two times (1. on 06-10-16 and 2.[protected] they only giving below mention complaint nos S8N41BE, S3TES2E, S3J2UMM, RQMXEUI, S9XDUL4 Through current call only, even I requested several times regarding mail confermetion of my complain they denyed,
                  Its a serios meter of negligency and not willing to refund above said amount is a ofance under section IPC 420, kindly take serios note on this and take strong action aginst the company,

                    On[protected] I have done payment to tata sky of RS.3820 for getting D2H connection. I have received a call from[protected] saying we can not provide connection in your area. Before taking connection several calls were made from Tata sky. after making payment I have not received a single call from tata sky. after making call for several times neither they are installing connection nor giving refund of payment. I call them every day they say you will receive a call from our technical department but nothing is happening. please help me in this regard.

                      Subscription no [protected]- carrying it from jaipur only to get a better service, but it is found that the most bogus consumer service has been provided. It is a syndicate a gang rather gang operates under the very nose by selling the good name tata has gained in other products.
                      1- a subscriber never gets to view all channels he has paid for.
                      2-they select certain channels apparently who charges less to them or who paid them extra to beam their channels uninterruptedly, so that their ad sells.
                      3- the matter has been left to the discretion of nodal officers of tatasky who ensures revenue for tatasky.
                      4-they never reply to your mail, just push the complaints to some technicians who whether provides service or otherwise charges rs300 automatically deducted from your advace payments.
                      5- when theset top box is a proprietary product of tatasky, how can the warranty be limited (Except mechanical damages or otherwise).
                      6- in the name of set top box beyond warranty, they loot repair cahrges.
                      7-the most criminal offence they commit that they never issue or mail any receipt of the payment towards repair showing the nature of repair.
                      8- in india, the tax enforcement authorities are afraid to touch or take up cases of such blatant violations as such service is in the nature of a taxable service known as maintenance and repair service and they are liable for penalty for not raising such invoices leaving open for the scope to evade service tax so collected by them.
                      9- whether mouthshut has kept his mouth shut even after getting so much review???
                      10- eating sugar?? Open your mouth. Ha ha ha
                      Hope to see some light on this aspects if inquiry will be conducted, i am willing to depose.

                        I am not satisfy with ur service because 2 days back i change my standard setup box not hd box, before that i consult with your customer care and they told me swap setup box cost 350 & relocation charge 300 total cost rs 650/- & i agree to change it, after that i check my statement service visit charge 200 setup box charge 350 & relocation charge rs 400 and deactivated my box. Why i pay more amount to you & why customer care give wrong information to me. Please resolve my issue if not possible please refund my defective setup box and take ur swap setup box, i don't want to use this

                          I am dr. Arun fotedar your regular customer with my registered mobile number [protected]. On 11th october i had dialed your toll free number and was directed to the concerened department where i requested for installing a fresh connection with a basic rs. 99/= and an add on pack of rs. 45/= for hindi news for my 82 yrs old mother. I was told that it will cost me rs.1600/=. Since i already have a dish installed at the roof top i requested the person across to connect the set top box with the existing dish and instead offer a dicount. This person told me that he will have to confirm it with the officer at the back end and then only he will be able to commit it. He promised to call back shortly. I did not receive any call on 11th october but on 12th october i got a call claiming to be from airtel for installation. As i was busy i requested them to call on 13th october 2016. I asked him how much will it cost me without the dish and was told rs.999/=. Today i. E. On 13th i got a call again from [protected] asking the permission for installation and two persons rajesh and his colleague came and reconfirmed to me that i get the requested pack on a discounted price of rs. 999/=. The set top box was installed and 25 meters of cable was used. This man charged me rs. 200/ for the cable after making me talk to the 'so called back end' asking me to pay up and promising me that it will not show in my bills. After collecting the money 999/= & 200/= he just rushed out without really showing how the channels work to my 82 yrs old mother. When i dialed your toll free number i was informed that the connection that has been installed here is not a fresh connection rather it is a secondary connection which in fact i had never asked for and i will be charged @ rs.240/= per month against rs. 144/= that i had asked for. It is a case of cheating by the vendor to whom you have out sourced. Following is the enumeration where the vendor representing you has cheated:
                          1) he did not disclose to me the plan with which he is installing the set top box prior to installing.
                          2) he did not show my mother how the channels are working.
                          3) he did not give me the receipt for rs 999/= & rs. 200/= along with the terms and conditions.
                          He has installed the set with a payment plan which i have not asked for thus making me liable to pay for the services that i have not asked for.
                          Besides now when i have put on the new tv again i am unable to receive any of the channels. For this i have separately complained at the complaint center.
                          You are requested to look into the matter and rectify it to my satisfaction at the earliest.

                            One technician attended the fault to-day at about 11.30 a.m. The card was removed and fitted back. TV was working. Same thing was followed by me earlier but without result. However after running for about 1.5 hours, same "No Signal" notification again appeared. I tried several times the same procedure the technician did but no remedy.
                            I was contacted by Tata Sky personnel over phone and I told him the problem. He wanted to guide me for certain procedures. As I was having my lunch at that time, I requested him to call me after half an hour. He told me that he would immediately send the instructions to my e-mail. I told him that if I fail to correct, I would contact him on his e-mail ID.
                            However, no mail has come yet and I am waiting to receive the response.

                                I have not subscribed ACTIVE FITNESS Channel. TATA SKY has deducted Rs. 59/- after telephonic conversation. I have denied the service of this channel but it is imposed. I request you deactivate the service and refund Rs. 59/-. Please also do something for the clarity of other channels.

                                  My self Prashant Ghadge and I m subscriber of Tata sky DTH service more than 2 years, and my ID is [protected].
                                  Yesterday I called up on customer care number [protected] at 03.45 pm, for package change and customer representative Jyoti pick up the call. So for communication I preferred language Hindi to talk to her, when i ask her to change my pack from previous one, she refuse to talk to me Hindi and rudely said to me that, i not comfortable at all in Hindi so talk to me in English only, when i told her I preferred Hindi language then why should i talk to you in English, then again she reply me i will not talk in Hindi, if you are not comfortable then disconnect the phone and connect again after some time, and she disconnect the phone.

                                  Tata Sky people my only feed back to you is and the guy who will read this feedback, just want tell you that If you feeling shame for what your representative have done, them please do some thing, because I know you have not bother, if you loose one customer but, the people like Jyoti, I don't know what I say about her.

                                      I been looking for installation of New TATA Sky connection for our office, since 6th of October 2016 where in executive at customer care do not give correct information/ they hang up your call in between the correspondence/ you try calling back they will just put you every now and then on call/ the executive them selves generate the lead no and when called back for confirmation they don;t know whats the lead no.

                                      this is very bad service on the part where customer is trying to reach to a genuine service provider and they are been guided with wrong details and information without having sufficient knowledge.
                                      this is not only with Tata Sky same thing is with Airtel DTH & Reliance DTH too.
