I am having two TVS JUPITER one basic model and other ZX model both are having starting issue and sound is coming from their engines for that i gave my basic model vehicle with vehicle number "MH12PE4713" on service to "Century Tvs Bhandarkar Road Pune" yesterday[protected] Their Service advisor named Prashant Khanvilkar told me that its engine oil will be changed and with engine oil you have to mix another lubricant which cost 125Rs to improve efficiency of your engine, choke wire has to be changed, new kit must be installed which includes (sparkplug+airfilter +engine oil filter etc)at a cost of 380Rs approx, combilne ignition coil must be changed which costs around 1700Rs, idler Gear must be changed which cost around 350-400Rs approx, Handle is locked so it's necessary to make it free which costs around 180Rs, bolt with idler Gear needed which has to be changed which costs around 300Rs approx and with all that service charge of 500+Rs will be there with GST at 18% on each and every thing .
I was not having problem with my handle, sparkplug, airfilter then why should i change it and whats the need to add 125Rs extra oil with engine oil to increase the efficiency.The only problem in my vehicle was that it stops whenever i decelerates and self start doesn't work properly "self start" problem is with each and every jupiter costumer you can type and search on Google" self start issue with TVS Jupiter" and you will come to know about that i own 2 Jupiters both having selfstart/engine issue from the day I purchased them.But during free services they work on that to make it ok and after one week again sound from engine valves start coming and they were not having solution for self start.Service center people say it's due to winter or you must have not started your vehicle from last few days so because of that self start is giving problem I know that this problem never comes with Petrol Engine and talked with TVS costumer care executives regarding the same about
6 months back but they also told the same thing . I am having 4 Two wheelers(2 Yamaha Bikes).So i thought it might be due to I don't run my scooty more but when i found that 2 of my other friends who owns jupiter facing the same issue with self start then I came to know that It's a common problem and company is running from that Issue as they are having no solution for this problem .The issue does not end up with overcharge and unnecessary parts replacement when i saw that they are burglars and they are cheating me and has done same with one more older person charged him approx 1700Rs for very small issue by adding many unnecessary parts. After that i changed my mind to give my second scooty with Vehicle number "MH12 PJ 5715 "for service in this showroom and asked their service advisor prashant khanvilkar to give me extra (engine oil + oil filter ) QNTY 1 NOS only for my second scooty .but he denied to give me that things individually then I told him that i will talk with your costumer care regarding the same after that suddenly he took oil from inside and gave it to me but didn't gave "engine oil filter" with that saying it's in our special package we can't sell it individually as both of these things are very very basic things for such a big showroom but he was not ready to give it to me as individual because he will be getting service charge of around 400+Rs with GST extra for that small work and outside that same work will be done in 20-30Rs Maximum. After that i called TVS costumer care and told them the whole issue regarding not giving individual parts(Engine Oil +Oil Filter) to costumer and adding many unnecessary things in service book against my vehicle number for the parts which are working well .Then their TVS company costumer care executive named Deepak was not ready to file complaint against the dealer and was giving excuses that they might be having only one engine oil left for your one already serviced vehicle then I asked him how the other Bottle came when I took TVS costumer care name for that Deepak was not having any answer/excuses .Then i lost my temper seeing all the ### things dealers are doing with costumers and getting support from main TVS costumercare[protected] itself I started shouting and arguing with that guy after finding that dealer has done wrong and he can't hide that he assured me that he is giving negative feedback against dealer from my reference but didn't provided me any number against that to check /track the status for my feedback.When i asked him that i don't have any reference number, you don't have my email id then how i will come to know you have taken action on this issue for the dealer or not then he said sir you call our costumercare again after 2-3 days and tell whoever receives the call from our costumercare team that you want to talk with Deepak then i will talk with you and tell you what action has been taken by us . I know he is a ### liar but i left that issue there itself .All was ok I have spent 3220Rs after deducing many things from the big list which he has added and extra 310Rs for the extra engine oil he gave to me after talking with costumercare for my second jupiter. I took my vehicle from there and today[protected] In the afternoon when i was going Wakad on Mumbai-Bangalore highway the same problem came again with my vehicle scooty stopped in mid way of busy highway .luckily i was saved from accident from the bike just next to me as my speed was below 50 KMPH. How risky it wasyou can think while decelerates it stops any where if your speed goes less then at ANY TIME your vehicle can shutdown and self start was also not working at that time to again start it up. 0% change after spending 3220Rs also cheaters with unskilled labors has worked on my vehicle then how can the issue be resolved in the first time itself. After that I immediately called Prashant Khanvilkar and told him the issue he said come on service center i can't talk with you on phone i am having call record of that also . I want these cheaters should be taught lesson this ### TVS company and its vehicles should be boycotted I am working in Mahindra as mechanical design engineer so I caught up the wrong things going in TVS showrooms from the support of company. neither the built up quality neither the engine is perfect .TVS vehicles are peace of ### after only 1 Year o[censored]se attaching proof in form of bill they charged me with no solution in the problem don't trust them i think when we leave our vehicle for service in their authorized service center then they put duplicate oil /lubricants in the name of company oil because you are not present there and they can do anything for money as these thieves have nothing to do with your safety they want money and only money always asks them the defective parts they have replaced and try to be there at service center and check weather they are replacing your defective parts with new one or not and most imp thing first go to some local shop ask him the issue what's went wrong and then go to the authorized service centers so that you must have the little knowledge of what the issue is and what they are replacing . I am attaching the photo of the replaced components also which i have collected back from service center.

we have experienced much bigger scam.. and suffering since 2 months. now our bike itself is forcibly taken away by dealer and they are not returning back and doing dadagiri on us. pls do reach me out on [protected].

    I went in crystal auto jhajjar state haryana for my bike service but work's manager name naveen say that we don't do today service because of we clean up our work shop today. Its very bad. No notice about this on front gate also behavior of owner is so bad. He have no manner to talk to costmer. Latter 10 min they agree to service. But i feel so bad because of they do this kind of service. I am writing this from crystal auto jhajjar.

          Hi, my name is amit mitra. I bought a tvs jupiter on 2nd may 2019 from tristar tvs motors, domalur, bangalore. My rto registration done on 10th may, and that day i got my regd. Number for my vehicle through rto message. But the showroom is not providing me the number plate, which they had promised at the time of purchase. Whenever i am asking for the plate they are saying it will be coming within next day i just need to wait. And on the next day same thing is repeating.
          Though my vehicle is registered, i am facing problem riding it on road. Will be grateful if you kindly go through this and gave me a solution by providing my number plate.

            Myself sanjay jangaji shinganjude, i purchased tvs jupiter from subdealer arni, dist yavatmal, maharashtra. But as per his commitment he didn't give me service, i paid him all vehicle amount to him but he is not giving two helmets as per quotation & making me fool at every time, plz take action against him otherwise i will publish this in newspaper & take legal action

              Hi,
              Right after one month of my bike, tvs apache rtr 200 4v in january 2017, bike started giving me ignition problems. Since i purchased with my father's hard earned money, i never troubled anyone but tried to get it resolved by tvs service centre. To my bad luck, they are in vain. Minutes after the second service, the bike started giving some ugly, irritating rattling sound. Despite repeated complaints and pouring of thousands of money, no tvs service centre has been able to solve the issue. The only answer i got was "sir, a defective product might have been delivered to you". This is the answer for the 1 lakh 11 thousand rupees that i spent! Could you please return them to me as your own service centre guys told me that it's a defective piece after 2 long years of waiting? Or give me a new bike!? Or offer me a solution with compensation for my struggles.?

                Dear sir/madam,
                My name is vineeth. I have purchased ntorq (Red colour) on october 14th, 2018 from sri venkat sai motors, hyderabad. From the first day itself, i'm facing many problems with this scooter. I complained about those problems to service center guys but they never respond properly. Problems are
                1) scooter doesn't start with self start. I have to kick that kick road around 15 minutes to start the scooter.
                2) mileage is very low. You have claimed a mileage of 47 kmpl but my scooter is giving only 33 kmpl

                My scooter is serviced 3 times upto now and what they do is just changing the oil and cleaning. They don't even care about the problems of scooter. And recently i got cheated. Just after two days of third service done, i observed when i'm riding the scooter it's producing a rattling sound very heavily. I complained to the service center about that sound. They told that clutch assemble is damaged and i have to pay money for getting it repaired as clutch assemble is not covered under warranty. Though i argued with them as that's a new scooter and servicing has done just before two days, still i paid to get the scooter repaired. But the same problem repeated again just after after 3 days of repair done. I complained again and they told that i have to pay again. I have paid again to get the repair done and what i found is first time they didn't replaced that with new part. They have just done welding and fixed the same part. I got cheated by both tvs company (Claiming fake mileage) and service center. Not even a single day i'm happy with this scooter. Please solve my scooter issues or else take back the scooter and return the amount what i paid. If nothing is done then i will be having only one option i. E complaining in consumer court

                  My tvs jupiter's second service has been done on saturday - 18th may, 2019.
                  Yesterday, i found that one of the part of my jupiter's part was damaged during service (Found defect in below the seat part)

                  I've a concern with the quality of jupiter which i've purchased. I haven't except this from you.

                  I've purchased this bike before 4months (7th feb, 2019), after 4months if any of the parts are damaged, this is very weird.

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    I’ve purchased TVS NTorq 125 Disc (Grey color) on May 5th 2019, Sunday from TVS Trijal Motors, Marathalli, Bangalore, Karnataka – 560037, authorized main dealer, sales manager is Mr. Rajeev.
                    Within 2 days of purchase, May 8th 2019, Wednesday I’d to take the vehicle to the service center due to starting problem in the morning and evening hours and I have to press 40-50 times self-start button to ensure vehicle starts and also we tried even using Kick start multiple times but of no use.

                    After keeping the vehicle for 6 days, I received a call on May 13th 2019, Monday stating the vehicle had a spark plug issue and they have replaced the spark plug and the vehicle is ready.
                    I was out of station for couple of days, and today when I tried starting the vehicle, it gave the similar problem and today I’d to self-start 30 times to start the vehicle in the morning.
                    I called up the dealer and spoke to the manager Mr. Rajeev to take back the vehicle and I’ll go through legal route and today he is re-assuring the vehicle will be repaired again and allow him one last time.

                    Would like to bring it to your notice, the mental trauma which I went through in 2 weeks of buying the vehicle is immense and beyond repairable.

                    Attaching the following documents for reference:
                    • Invoice of purchase
                    • Job Card
                    • Exit pass of service vehicle

                    Will post this in twitter account of TVS motors for quicker response.

                    I strongly demand an action on the sales dealer and as well the service center for their incapability to provide the solution the problem which led me to go through mental trauma for last 2 weeks.

                    I am approaching consumer court grievance redressal for further action against the dealer.

                      Sir i have tvs apache rtr 160 rear disc. Sir iam already changed my front brake master cylinder 12000 kms but remaing same problem i have asked company side. Company tell him master cylinder problem so you change master cylinder then your bike performance improve. Sir i have asked one question master cylinder every 12000 kms changing. Pls rly sir our quality is very bad sir. My brother bike pulsar is running 45000 no problem but my bike totally kms running 25000 but brake more problem

                        I have tvs jupiter scooty, which i have been using since 2015, i used to make every service service center in my jupiter in this service center tvs brass city moradabad in up. I complaint has not yet been fully complicated. Petrol leaking too much of my jupiter, out of the overflow pipe and from the engine i have been stuck around the agency for nearly 4 months but the service center i have not got the satisfaction of receiving anointment. I am fed up to reply to you, please reply to me, please write my report and leave me from this compliant you will be very gracious to bring.

                          Dear sir,

                          I have purchased tvs jupiter from zummervala motors, chhani, baroda in july 2018.
                          From the time of purchase i have experienced so many troublrs with this two wheeler. Very first, there was an issue with indicators for which i had lodge the call and it was attended by the dealer but the issue was not resolved and vehicle became more noisy. I have requested to replace the model but they have denied. Recently, i came across one more problem with vehicle that it's accelerator is not properly working. Vehicle is sounding much bad compared to other two wheelers.
                          Sir.. I regret that my overall experience with the tvs jupiter is not satisfactory till now. I can't even suggest anyone else about jupiter, as it's hardly 6000/- km used till now and the vehicle is struggling to survive longer.

                          Not a good experience at all sir.

                          Kindly, resolve my issue.

                              I am pradeep from kottayam, kerala, bought tvs jupiter from thundathil motors c/o. Tvs motors kottayam 8 month before. This is the time of third service. On this time i asked them to fit a switch for head light for off. They agreed but on time of delivery it seems that it fixed is not in proper and they made a big hole and place a switch there. It is not suitable and the hole, they couldnt cover, they fix mseal all over there and many scratches on there. First time i asked about then they again repair but it is also like before and cover it with black isulation tape. They hesitated to replace. So i can go ahead with court. There are 5000 followers to me on fb, it is enough to make a challange against your company. So please take necessary action and replace dashboard and make it in the previous condition.

                                I have recently purchased tvs ntorq (On[protected], it is only 110 km driven.

                                The carburetor of my scooty is not working properly, there is lot of missing. After visiting tvs service center and distributor my problem is not yet resolved. They are doing experiments with the new scooty rather than replacing the carburetor. I am struggling while starting the scooty even after using kick.

                                Buying this product is totally a waste of money and service provided by company is too poor.

                                Hope that someone can help to get rid of this problem.

                                  Still the problem is same, prakruthi tvs manager they know how to cheat, he called me on tuesday to check my bike - he said every thing is ok, he said he change the part, from my side i simply want one mail regarding that, then he said my service manager will come on friday he will check then i will provide you, so today is friday again i called him, he said my territory manager checked the bike, they change some part again, now you come and check your bike.

                                  Still my question is same, on that day he told my bike is ready, know his territory manager again change some part then who is right here,
                                  See simple tvs employees wasting my time, they don't want to do any thing, they are simply calling, i don't know which type of people you are, how you putted these types of cheap people.

                                    I took a new vehicle tvs ntroq 125 @coimbatore vishnu motors... All was going smooth... But not even one month completed... Due to engine over heat back tyre 40 percentage gone.. Will attach the picture too please do the needfull... How can a new vehicle get complaint like this my no deepak dilton [protected] govt officer. I have taken four bikes 1st time facing issue like this... Please do the needfull that's it

                                      Hi i have given service for my bike tvs let's at chennai thirumullaivoyal avish suzuki show room they have cheated me in service and put high bill u need this to register a complaint and take necessary action or else i will file a complaint against consumer court they gave me estimate amount 1500 but they charged me 2500 and in fact i told them to call me before do service and give me quote for the amount inspite they didn't call and they have completed the service without my knowledge
